where könig is the beast and he’s been living in his castle for years alone (with the exception of his living furniture but he doesn’t really talk to them), and he’s content with that. he’s come to terms with the fact that he is going to be stuck as a creature for the rest of his life, because who could ever love him?

enter horangi, a young man from a nearby village. he’s always been bored of the slow-paced bland life in his town, and often got into trouble because of it. while running from some villagers he’d angered by accident, he stumbles across könig’s castle, and believing it to be abandoned, runs inside to seek shelter.

you can imagine his shock when the furniture starts speaking to him, and when the owner of the castle turns out to be a nearly seven foot tall beast that’s surprisingly gentle once horangi gets to know him.

The way Selina was so respectful abt Bruce having a newly adopted son in Jason, And when Jay didn’t warm up to her immediately, made sure to tell him that she wasn’t trying to replace the mother/son relationship he had with Nocturna, and even suggested to Bruce they take a break from dating bc she knew Jason wasn’t comfortable sharing dad yet…and now she’s “mama cat” 🥹

I've drawn him a couple of times, just really little/in the background. but I should draw him more, I love this guy a lot! I have many, many thoughts about him and the way he parallels Silver...and also I think it is extremely funny that his ghost is stuck in a ring. especially considering where that ring has been for the last 16-ish years.
