Through a series of miscommunication, the League is now under the impression that Batman, strange cryptid that he is, may or may not have given birth to the other vigilantes running around in Gotham. This was not helped by Bruce referring to all of his children, no matter how big they get, as his babies. Nor was it helped by Red Robin, in the middle of a narcolepsy-fueled imminent crash, mentioned how he had no mother. 

It also doesn’t help that no one is aware that they are in fact completely normal people, and not aspects of Gotham itself brought to life. Though really that’s on the bats themselves, because at this point they should at least count as undead.

“Come here,” James said, reaching for Regulus’ hand and gently pulling him closer.

“What are you doing?” Regulus asked, a playful edge to his voice as James’ arm wrapped around his waist.

With Regulus in his arms, James began to sway from side to side, softly humming one of his favorite songs. He pressed Regulus closer, and they melted into each other.

James closed his eyes and basked in the warmth that was having Regulus close. His humming continued, they kept swaying slowly. He couldn’t tell who was leading—it didn’t matter. James was grateful to have arms, simply because they let him hold Regulus.

“Jamie.” He never cared much for his name, but every time Regulus said it, it became something precious. 

“Love,” James replied. Regulus’ eyes softened the same way they always did when James called him that. James once thought that saying it often might dull its impact, but it never did.

James stopped humming, their swaying gradually coming to a halt.

“One more dance?” Regulus whispered, his fingers lazily tracing circles in James’ back. 

“As many as you want.” 

As many dances, as many songs, as many days, as many years—James would give it all to him.

Out of all the scenes (yes even the frog scenes) this is honestly my favourite because of how raw and vulnerable it looks

How they're always visualizing Maomao as Jinshi's source of light to his otherwise bleak life.

Look at this tiny little baby and tell me he doesn't deserve all the good things coming his way.

He YEARNS for her.

That's not the only thing though. Considering how he grew up, there's probably a part of him that's always scared that she's going to somehow be taken away from him

That's probably how jinshi actually feels with Maomao. Comfortable that he's able to show the not so perfect eunuch that everyone knows him as, but a child who's barely grown up and anxious that his favourite is going to be taken away again. So YES THIS SCENE MEANS A LOT TO ME

Just caught up with Natlan's archon quest and lord help me, I have a burning need to see Alhaitham and Ororon interact.

I truly feel that they would vibe perfectly. Not in a ship way, but like, in the way of Kaveh quietly wailing: "For archons' sake, he's brought another tacky thing into the house. Traveler, please do something; they've been staring eye to eye over the coffee table for like an hour now but haven't said a single word. I don't know what to do. Send help."

too many of you guys think nico is the loser and not lewis for letting the divorce go on for so long. like they're both losers about each other. emotionally constipated idiots who can't talk about their toxic homoerotic friendship that imploded on itself like 8 years ago and are now making it everyone else's problem. yeah nico's on television or in beer gardens talking about lewis all the time but like every other month some reporter is like "lewis, what's your favorite moment in your career?" and lewis no hesitation is like "oh man, karting, y'know? everything was simpler then" and then spends another six months skirting around nico's name. like this whole thing they're doing in the media isn't some kinda extended foreplay for them. they're both still pressing on the bruise to make sure it's still there!!! every few months, they're literally just asking on public television, does it still hurt for you like it does for me? and like clockwork, someone will release new information about them or one of them will say something about each other (in my heart, he's still my best friend/yes... and teammate) and the answer will remain the same, yes, of course, always.
