it's just something I noticed towards the end of the episode

when the Professor is cleaning the theater he says

"still got molasses all over this thing all these years later"

YEARS

but minutes later he tells Ryan that he doesn't even remember what episode they're on, yet he's remembering Stanley Melvin Murphy from years ago! or at least part of him is

almost like what happened with Stanley Melvin and by association Dorothy Ruth will be the key to solving this whole mystery!
