I am so glad I opened my mind to ships. When I was a baby in my first fandom I was very “only ship canon!!” I am so happy I grew out of that because there’s so many ships I love now that I would’ve turned my nose up to before
Sweet Smoke??? Evil yaoi polycule goes hardddd
Wine and Dine??? Fuck yeah let them kill each other
Tea with Poison (Charlotte Brontë (Poe Party) x Zoey Chambers)??? They could be The Worst/aff and be incredibly sapphic while doing it
DMOrin/The Gas Tango (DMA x Orin Scrivello (LSOH))??? Torture gets them high it’d be great

Reustle Prayer Rock Winery. Roseburg Oregon. Painting was accomplished by a local car and motorcycle artist who worked only at night. He laid on his back to airbrush the replica of the Sistine Chapel's original "Creation of Adam" artwork.

Spring Arrives
Today was the First Day of Spring. Felt a lot like the last couple of days of winter, though. The low this morning was just 41 degrees, and it only got up to 49 for the high. There was light rainfall during much of the day, occasionally getting a little heavier.
My blood sugar was higher again this morning, up to 184. Have to do better with my meals and get more exercise. Don’t want my A1C climbing back near 10 again!
After Nancy and I had our coffee and played the brain games, we had oatmeal for breakfast. Then I spent a little time updating the ABRS site for their “Exploring Arizona” monthly newsletter.
We started out on our day’s adventure by heading to Costco for gas again. The price was still $3.29 per gallon. Then we went across the street to to PetSmart for dry food and treats for the cats.
It was too close to breakfast for lunch, but Nancy suggested we could drive out to Veneta to Our Daily Bread for lunch. It was 1 p.m. by the time we got there, and it took another twenty minutes or so before our meal arrived. I got a ham and cheese sandwich with fries. Nancy had a BLT and coleslaw. Sadly, they have cut their hours to just Wednesday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., due to a staffing shortage.
Once lunch was done, we wandered our way south to Sweet Cheeks Winery, located on Briggs Hill Road, just off Territorial Highway. Nancy did some tasting and came away with two bottles of Pinot Gris. I would have gotten out to take some pictures, but the rain was continuous the whole time we were there. And the tasting room was quite busy during our visit.
From Sweet Cheeks we followed the back roads to Creswell and stopped by the bakery to get another loaf of sourdough bread. Then we came home.
I got to work again on the ABRS site until time for dinner, which consisted of leftover soup to go with my half a sandwich leftover from lunch today, plus potato chips. Nancy had leftover spaghetti and sauce from the other day. Dessert was brownies.
After dinner we got a fire going. The last time we tried we only had hard wood, and the fire never got going. We had previously bought another bundle of soft wood, so we started with it and finally enjoyed a roaring fire for a couple of hours.
Once the fire was burning nicely, we did our streaming, starting with the latest episode of “Reacher.” Next week’s is the final episode, and given tonight’s ending, we will probably see plenty of action to wrap things up. We followed that up with the first two episodes of “Ludwig,” a new comedy mystery from BBC starring David Mitchell—from “Upstart Crow” and other shows—as a puzzle expert who is called on to find his missing police detective twin brother by his brother’s wife. He pretends to be his brother while looking for clues and winds up using his puzzle-making skills to solve some actual murders.
I got a late text from Art, and he was unable to find me another ride out to the retreat for tomorrow, but I’m still not feeling completely recovered from my chest and head cold, so I told him “thanks” and said I hope to make it next year.
Tomorrow’s forecast shows 100 percent rain, though it only starts about 5 a.m. before continuing through the day, with a low temperature of just 44 degrees and another high of 49. We have an early start, getting Nancy to a bone scan appointment at 8:45 a.m., which means we’ll need to be up around 7 a.m. so we can have our coffee.

Get the Best Experience With Oregon Waterfall Tours
Oregon is home to some of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest, making waterfall tours a must for nature lovers and adventure seekers. From towering cascades in the Columbia River Gorge to hidden gems nestled in lush forests, these tours offer a chance to witness the region’s incredible landscapes while learning about its geology and history. For those looking to combine scenic beauty with a taste of Oregon’s renowned wine, the Mt. Hood Wine & Waterfall Tour provides the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration.
Oregon waterfall tours often start in the Columbia River Gorge, a dramatic canyon filled with more than ninety waterfalls. Multnomah Falls, the state’s tallest and most famous waterfall, is a highlight of any tour, offering a stunning 620-foot drop with a picturesque footbridge for an up-close view. Other popular stops include Latourell Falls, known for its striking columnar basalt formations, and Wahkeena Falls, which gracefully tumbles down in multiple tiers. Many tours also visit Bridal Veil Falls, a charming two-tiered cascade surrounded by lush greenery, and Horsetail Falls, named for its distinctive shape. Experienced guides provide insights into the history and geology of the area, explaining how the waterfalls were shaped by ancient floods and volcanic activity. Some tours include short hikes to lesser-known waterfalls, offering a more secluded experience away from the crowds.
For a unique combination of nature and indulgence, the Mt. Hood Wine & Waterfall Tour offers an unforgettable day trip. This tour typically begins with visits to several stunning waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge before heading south to Oregon’s wine country near Mt. Hood. The Hood River Valley, known for its fertile soil and ideal climate, produces some of the state’s best wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling. Guests can enjoy wine tastings at boutique wineries, learning about the winemaking process while taking in breathtaking views of Mt. Hood. Many tours also include a stop at the historic Timberline Lodge, a famous landmark perched high on the mountain, offering panoramic vistas and a glimpse into Oregon’s alpine heritage.
Whether exploring waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge or savoring world-class wine in the shadow of Mt. Hood, these tours provide a perfect way to experience Oregon’s natural beauty and rich culture. With expert guides leading the way, visitors can relax and immerse themselves in the stunning scenery while discovering what makes this region so special.
