The bell sound specifically being “two things crashing into each other” has some wonderful imagery built right into it that I never thought about and I love it. I’d love to find out if they mean Lava Lamp and Sakura’s fates being tied together or if it’s a sign of Evil Wolverine’s evil dimension crashing into reality or something else entirely.

The details are yet to be figured out but the imagery is wonderful! And like, Sakura in that bottom frame? Leaning forward as if she has wings that will let her fly off in the direction? Towards the wing shaped ruins? With the Tsubasa inside it??

Monogatari is doing a collab with ekimemo, a game about going to different real life Japanese train stations and collecting anthropromorphized versions of said train station.

I don’t know how it’s going to work actually but it’s interesting conceptually.

Cardcaptor Sakura HAS MET Lava Lamp’s mother, in the dream realm

It is a little difficult to gauge exactly how old she is from here but it’d definitely have to be after the Cardcaptor Sakura manga. And most likely after Clear Card in the timeline, even though that didn't exist yet. She looks a lot older - and Clear Card is only a few months after the original manga, rather than years.

Anyway. What a way to find out that I have to make even more charts than I was already doing.
