maybe im too much of a viktor enjoyer and tbh tired of everything about him being revolved around a ship but i don’t agree with the masses that say jayce made his clutch.

"Ha! Wrong-o! You can't stop me! And it isn't because I'm the Gingerbread Man or anything! It's because I'm the Protagonist! That means I get special Protagonist protections! Like not being able to be stopped! Hahahaha! Now where are you, Stanley?" James cackles.

Apparently he has found a flashlight and is waving it around down each hallway as he looks around for his rival.

He must find Stanley. He must. Because he must take out his competition. There can only be one Protagonist, and obviously that Protagonist is going to be him. He's obviously the far better Protagonist here and Stanley has been slacking anyway. The guy just... sits there all day playing Solitaire of all things, ugh. At least he, James, would actually do things.

Really, the Narrators would appreciate him so much more.

"Stanleyyyy!! Come on, man! Let's sort this out!" he calls down the hallways. "I'm sure as a fellow Protagonist you understand the pressure. Awwwugghh. It's so much pressure to stand out. That's all I want to do! And you can help me do that by just dying."

A scuffle gets his attention. Quickly, he swings his flashlight in that direction. A shadow whisks out of sight.

"Gotcha, Stanley! Hehe. You can't hide from me!"

Except... that's not Stanley. Not the one he thinks, anyway. Because two glowing yellow spots for eyes suddenly emerge from the shadow that whisked away, blinking at him, staring straight at him...

...scaring the utter SHIT out of him.

"What- Wh-Wh-WhhhhhhAT THE FUCK!" screams James, backing away so quickly he knocks over a pile of boxes and then falls over on top of them, the flashlight flying out of his hands and skittering away.

Shadow Stanley rushes forward to fill the space between them, swinging to the side to avoid the beam from the flashlight, his yellow eyes flashing down at James in what can only be described as malice.

It seems James caught the attention of the wrong Stanley.

So I had a hysterectomy today (hooray!) and I brought along my stuffed orca, Shamu, as a comfort object. And everyone i interacted with during my pre-op was like "Oh! Who's this?" so I was telling them all about him, how he's been with me since I was 9 and gone on every single vacation and road trip, and they were telling me about their own stuffed buddies (one lady said she still has hers after 40 years!) and all of this while I was signing consent forms and providing a list of the things I'd brought with me, you know, small talk.

So then a nurse comes over and goes "Okay, I've got some stickers I'll put on your things so we know they're yours" and I'm like "OK cool" so she puts a sticker on my coat and stickers on my bags of clothes and then she turns to Shamu and I'm like "oh I guess he gets a sticker too"

But no. She pulls out a hospital bracelet that's an exact copy of mine and slaps it on his tail, like so:

And i was delighted by this, so I took a picture to send to my friends, who were equally delighted, and were cracking me up with their reactions (like so:)

Anyway, they take me back and put me under, and when I awake groggily a few hours later it takes me a minute to get my bearings, so I don't notice Shamu at first. But then I realize he's tucked up next to me in the gurney, so I grab him, and my hand touches gauze.

And I'm like "huh?" so I look at him and I realize

They gave my fucking orca a hysterectomy

An aquarium in Japan was closed for renovations, and their resident sunfish got depressed not seeing visitors. So the staff put some uniforms with printed faces against the tank, and it immediately recovered.

to be honest I think working on a sewing machine strains my eyes as much as being on a computer does. However, I am incentivized to remain alert and focused by keeping my fingers within stabbing distance of a needle making 60 stitches per minutes.
