On Cosplay, Fast Fashion, & Waste
Fast fashion and disposable outfits in cosplay community spaces give me anxiety. Seeing people openly talk about throwing their "trashed" cosplay away after a single con makes me sad. Some costumes are crafted with such low durability that they fall apart beyond repair if you look at them the wrong way. I've met a ton of other cosplayers whose idea of "cosplay repair" ends with a stapler and some hot glue.
I never ever ever ever want to shame people for not knowing something. Crafting is hard. Making a low-quality costume isn't a sin or a crime. If you're new and still learning and don't really know what you're doing yet, that's fine! No harm, no foul, no bruise.
The cosplayers who do make me grouchy, however, are the ones who are unwilling to try. The ones who are flippant about throwing away a cosplay without trying to mend it, repurpose it, reuse it, or pass it along. The ones who intentionally make a costume just durable enough to last a single day, then toss it in the trash with zero thought.
My sewing and costuming experience started when I joined the ren faire, and I had to make my costumes sturdy enough to survive multiple weeks of heavy use, with the durability and freedom of movement to allow sword fighting on the living chessboard. I was taught how to shop for inexpensive fabrics and materials, but use high-quality, long-lasting techniques so that my costumes didn't disintegrate after a single day of performing. I have made extremely durable, cost-effective costumes out of bedsheets and thrift store fabric, as have many of my friends.
That experience has carried over into my cosplay. I am not happy with a costume unless it can go through three consecutive days of stage combat and high-intensity walking around outside in the heat, go through the washer and dryer, and come out completely unscathed.
Again, I never want to needlessly shit on other people's cosplay. Cosplay gatekeeping sucks and is no fun for anyone. At the same time, fast fashion is just as rampant in cosplay as it is everywhere else, and it sucks to see how wasteful it is.
You can make things durable even with cheap materials. Stop making flimsy costumes that you're just going to toss. Stop making piles and piles of waste. Please stop buying fabric just to slap a costume together with glue and throw it in the trash. If you are going to invest time and money into making something by hand, make it durable and comfy and worth the effort.
Even if you only want to personally wear it once, you can sell it, give it away, trade it, do something other than toss it in the trash. Show some love to your costumes, show some love to the planet, pick one action you can take to make your cosplay a little less wasteful. Being obsessed with the myth of a "personal carbon footprint" isn't helpful, but we as cosplayers should try to at least make things that'll last longer than 24 hours.
I understand that sewing can be incredibly intimidating, but basic stitching really isn't that complicated if you have a guide and the right tools. I personally need assistive devices for sewing thanks to my hand tremors and tendonitis, but those tools do exist, and can make things easier for both disabled and newbie sewists. I use rotary cutters instead of scissors, I keep a supply of needle threaders on hand, I have multiple little gadgets that help me sew in a straight line so my shaking hands don't screw everything up. There are tons of tools available, tons of tutorials online, and if you're interested in learning, there's a whole world out there to explore.
If you don't want to do all the crafting yourself, that's totally fine, but if you are going to hand-make your costume, you should try and make it durable. It's better for the planet and it's way less stressful to go to an event when you know your costume won't fall apart on the con floor.
If you have zero idea where to start, here are some books with crafting techniques I've found very useful, both in cosplay and regular household sewing I do for my family:
Make, Sew and Mend: Traditional Techniques to Sustainably Maintain and Refashion Your Clothes, by Bernadette Banner (who also has an incredible YouTube channel)
Cosplay Fabric FX: Painting, Dyeing & Weathering Costumes Like a Pro, by Julianna Franchini
Creative Cosplay: Selecting & Sewing Costumes Way Beyond Basic, by Amanda Haas
Level Up! Creative Cosplay: Costume Design & Creation, SFX Makeup, LED Basics & More, by Amanda Haas

April, 2024 | Shetland lace shawl
Hi there! It’s been a while. I’ve been kept busy by all my university work…and this shawl.
The shawl is knitted to celebrate the wedding of my friend (now friends, I should say). A wedding is really the perfect excuse for all the heritage crafts and heirloom projects that might seem too serious to gift in other occasions. I did ask the recipient beforehand if she would like it, though, and I was so, so honoured that I got an enthusiastic ‘yes’. I’m sure this sentiment is shared by many makers, whatever gift they are making.
Shetland fine openwork, a knitted lace, seems to have emerged with the beginning of the reign of Queen Victoria, who championed and popularised the craft. It was probably spread from the Isle of Unst to other parts of Shetland. What surprised me the most when I first read about it was that Shetland shawls and other lace pieces were largely exported as luxury items and rarely worn by islanders themselves. Women bought yarn from spinners and knitted mostly in their homes. They then took them to local merchants and exchange the finished objects for goods or (commonly after the 1880s) money to supplement the household income. The ‘supplement’ nature of this work probably means it was not compensated as much as a job outside the home would be for the same hours and skills. Besides, it was not always easy to spin an even 1-ply yarn at 1600 metres per 100 grams. For a piece of knitting with a large ‘plain’ area (i.e. only knit stitches), the unevenness was impossible to hide but could only be discovered after the area was worked. Then the maker had to either frog (unravel) the area or continue with the risk of the whole piece not being able to sell.
Whilst it is very reasonable to point out that Shetland ladies did not usually wear this type of lace (I’ve been to the Scottish Highlands once, in summer, and it was not fine lace weather), I imagine that at least for some, it wasn’t just about making money. Some sort of fulfilment must have been from the satisfaction of having a piece ‘properly done’ by continuing and adapting a traditional pattern, technique or material. I think this sort of satisfaction is also why many modern knitters are willing to spend hundreds of hours on lacework.
Intricate handknitted lace items can still be bought today (a quick search on Etsy would show many are form eastern European countries with a long and prominent craft tradition), but many are knitted for friends or family members. It always makes me so happy to see people share the gifts they have made, whether big or small, simple or complex. I joke with my online craft friends that no handmade fibre project can claim to be so unless they have a hair or two woven into it. It is the proof of existence for the maker, who tries to go against the irregular nature of handicrafts and, at the same time, accepts it. It is about wrapping up hours, weeks or months in one’s life, along with the songs they have listened to and the perfume they have worn and the memories they have made, and putting it squarely in someone else’s hands and saying: ‘All this, for you.’
A Wedding Shawl
I have not read anything about there being a standard form of ‘wedding shawl’ in the Shetland tradition. However, there is definitely a category of square shawls with similar sizes and a few construction methods. The samples I’ve seen mostly measure 1.5-2m on one side and have three parts: a central panel, four borders and a strip of edging. It is worked flat in garter lace from centre out.
Neither is there a standardised yarn weight. A widely available yarn is the Shetland Supreme Lace Weight 1-ply by Jamieson and Smith, which weighs at 400m/25g. The Queen Ring Shawl examined by Sharon Miller used a yarn at 700m/25g. From my experience, if you want the shawl to be a true ring shawl (i.e. you want to be able to pull the shawl through a ring) at the size of the Queen Ring Shawl (210cm on the side), go for 700m/25g or finer.
I chose a rectangular shawl because I had very limited time, but I did enlarge it because for me, an abundance of fabric does mean an abundance of cozy happiness.
Pattern
Shell Grid and Spider Webs Puzzle, pattern No.19 in the book Shetland Knitting Lace by Toshiyuki Shimada.
The names of the motifs are confusing. One motif (or two highly similar motifs) might just have two different names if they are produced in two different regions. Names do not mean everything, but I’ve had fun trying to match the motifs with names according to this article by Carol Christiansen at the Shetland Museum.
The double yarnovers (YO's) in the diamonds were called Cat's Eye, but perhaps the 'Spider Web' in the pattern name is referring to the three rows of double YO's in the centre panel. It has a really simple but effective edging.
Yarn
Mermaid Lace, in colourway #naturel, sold by Great British Wool in the Netherlands. This yarn is 75% merino and 25% sea algae silk. ‘Sea algae silk’ seems to be a semi-synthetic plant fibre like viscose, with algae involved as part of the raw material. (At this price point I don’t think it has anything to do with sea silk, which is fibre produced by actual shells.) The brand name for the most popular product of its type is probably Seacell.
I bought the yarn, because I had never worked with this fibre before and was curious. What I like: it was a little cheaper than a wool/silk blend and has blocked very well. The whole skein was continuous so I didn’t have to deal with a single yarn joint. What I do not like: it lacks the sheen and smoothness of real silk and doesn’t feel as strong, although it doesn’t shed. In conclusion, I’d rather use a traditional Shetland 1-ply or another natural fibre yarn.
It's also worth mentioning that whilst I prefer to support small businesses, it was disappointing to have received a 93-gram skein when I had ordered 100 grams. It was one of those days between Christmas and the New Year and I somehow did not contact the customer service, but I really should have.
Needle
2.5mm 80cm circular needles. See modification below.
Modification
This Japanese knitting book follows Japanese sizing for knitting needles. The suggested size was no. 1=2.4mm. I figured that I could use a 2.5mm since I knitted on the tighter side, and in any case it was probably okay to make the lacework a little more open by going up a needle size.
I am not going to give out the pattern, but it is probably necessary to explain the structure of this shawl. The centre is knitted first, and then an edging is knitted onto it by picking up either live stitches or the vertical edge of the centre as you go (see schematic below). The four ‘corners’ of the edging have short-row shaping to help it lay flat. I know that traditionally people can achieve this by other methods, but I haven’t tried any of those yet.
I enlarged the pattern by increasing both the width and the length. I casted on 133 stitches instead of 101 for the centre panel and knitted Part B 8.5 times instead of 5.5. The spider web pattern in Part B requires the stitch count to be (something dividable by four) plus two, so I made one central increase before the spider web to get 134 and a central decrease after it to get it back to 133. Due to the openness of the lace, the change of one stitch is not visible.
The enlargement meant I had to recalculate the edging as well, because the number of stitches available for pick-up changed. Originally, at each corner you do two repeats with four short-row shaping each. I did 1.5 repeats following the original placement of short-row shaping in order to make the total number of repeats fit the number of edge stitches on the centre panel.
The pattern says to Kitchener-stitch the last row of the edging to the provisional cast-on. It just didn’t make sense because that would be two rows too much (the Kitchener stitch row plus the provisional cast-on row). To make the number perfectly fit, I knitted only ten rows of the last repeat (there were usually twelve in each repeat). Then I Kitchener-stitched the end to the provisional cast-on, following the lace pattern. I am quite proud of this solution because it is completely invisible.
Somewhere in the pattern it said to purl (looking from the right side). It seemed strange because the rest of the lace was entirely garter. I knitted those stitches and so far I haven’t sensed a ‘mistake’.
The pattern originally calls for 45 grams of yarn. I estimated (based on the increase of stitches in the centre panel) to need about 80 grams. I ended up using 86 grams. Besides the inaccuracies in my estimation, it was probably also because I knitted much more loosely than expected as it was difficult to tension the yarn tightly at such a weight. Like I've point out in the Yarn section above, I was lucky not to have needed more than 93 grams.
The original finished size is 53*118cm. I ended up with approximately 70*170cm.
Conclusion
This shawl took about three months of my craft time i.e. one full day every week for three months and many mornings before I had to leave for university. Knitting outside my room just didn’t work because I was a) engaged in some other activities that made it difficult to steady my hands, and b) worried about putting a white shawl on any public surface.
The pattern itself is relatively straightforward. The first difficulty was, of course, to understand the instruction written in Japanese. Google translate was horrible so I had to rely on my knitting experience. Fortunately, much of the text description was also found in graphs and charts. Then I had to get my hands used to the tiny yarn. After that, it was only fiddly when I did the edging, because I had to turn about every twelve stitches, and by that time I was handling a giant cloud of stitches on my lap. It did give me a lot of time to go over my favourite documentaries and films, and the last bit of edging was surprisingly quick!
Traditionally, Shetland shawls could be sent back to the maker for maintenance. I think it only fair for me to offer that too because I don’t want a gift to become a trouble (same as how you do not use non-machine-washable yarn for baby knits).
In general, I am very pleased with this shawl. It does pass the ring test, despite not being a traditional wedding shawl size or thickness. I do have a whole lot of actual Shetland 1-ply in my stash, so I am really looking forward to taking my Queen Ring Shawl project out of hibernation in the near future.

I can't find the post I made about it before but I wanna reiterate, if you want to learn how to cook but don't have anyone to learn from (which is best, imo, but not everyone has that), watch Good Eats. There's like over 16 seasons and most of it holds up in terms of food advice. However, there were some corrections over the years (addressed in Good Eats: Reloaded), and some of the humor is kinda dated and cringey. Alton Brown knows his shit, though.
There's a number of reasons why it's good:
Even if the episode is about something you might never make, cooking is about applying a series of techniques to different foods. Many of those techniques are adaptable to other foods.
He recommends budget-friendly options even if he advises you to spend money on something. Although some of his homemade gadgets or hacks are kinda silly, some of them are worth trying.
Good Eats focuses on the science of food so he doesn't just tell you how, he tells you why. If you're like me, you have to know why or else you won't be convinced.
If you have Max or Food Network you can already watch all the episodes streaming. If you don't, you can find each season pretty readily online in various places streaming and uh downloadable. I don't want to call out where but if you know you know, and if you don't I suggest you read this.

I saw this post and couldn't stop thinking about it, so here is the answer I gave after some consideration-- I'll tell you when I find out. Sometimes it really feels like it depends on your Agents, and what they're accustomed to. I have two groups that I play with, one is mostly serious with a handful of gallows humor quips while the other one is absolutely clown-shoes-goof-goof-times. You could lovingly craft a deeply unsettling body-horror scene or run a tried-and-true encounter straight out of an established campaign and your mileage will greatly vary depending on your audience. That's not *necessarily* a bad thing, a handlers job is to guide a narrative in a way that's first and foremost fun for the players. If they want to take it seriously and buy into the horror they will, but if they want a bit of levity then there's nothing wrong with playing to the crowd. But I do really, really empathize with struggling to convey the awesome and terrible might of some cosmic horror with nothing but your words in a group of people that (hopefully) instinctively feel at ease and jovial while fooling around playing games with their buddies. Here's a few practical pieces of advice I can give you.
Try to cultivate an unsettling environment for your players. This one seems obvious but is actually really hard to get down right, especially when people mostly play online these days. But you’d be surprised how much regularly providing good visual aids, a Discord bot playing ambient music, and a good playlist can really set the tone for your session. Don’t just provide visual aids for the money shots of alien greys and deep ones either, running a campaign based on The Conspiracy era gives you ample opportunity to post a ton of weird, liminal 90s photographs to set the vibe for everyone even during otherwise mundane scenes.
Make a point of explaining to your players the difference between what they are experiencing and what their characters are experiencing. Yes, facing off against a 8ft tall fish man with a crossbow is inherently ridiculous as a fictional abstract. Its an entirely different experiencing actually being there, face to face under an incredible amount of stress seeing something that should not exist. In a lot of ways your players aren’t their characters so much as they are mad gods guiding their characters’ fates. THEY can laugh from the safety of this higher dimension we all exist in, that’s part of the fun. Hell their characters might even have a passing thought or two about how absurd the situation might be—but that entire time they’re fighting their lizard-brained instincts just to stop from mentally imploding. Let them laugh, but then tell them how their characters' hands might be shaking, or how any clever quip they wanted to say just comes out as a mumble as their body betrays whatever thoughts their rational mind tries to convey.
Know the rules of comedy. Comedy usually needs a straight-man, so if your players are goofing around don’t be afraid to give them a straight-man NPC to react to their antics in a way that makes it feel like you’re in on the bit but keeps the narrative going. Better yet, try to get ahead of it. Set up designated low-stakes areas in your story that are designed to add a bit of levity. They say comedy comes in threes, so you should structure these segments to let your agents to do some dumb shit about three times before they get all the sillies out and are ready to move on. And the emotional highs during these side quests will just make the crushing lows in the main plot feel that much more horrifying.
Building off that last one I have one more secret, forbidden technique. Buyer beware on this one honestly, but I cannot overstress just how much. Players. Love. Silly. Characters. And as David Lynch has proven, you can have silly characters that are still deeply unsettling. Try adding a few characters in that flip the script on your players and make *them* want to play the role of the straight-man reacting to what your NPCs are doing every once in a while. If done right, it can kind of trick them into taking things seriously or feel like the eerie out of place comedy is at their character’s expense even if the players are in on it.
I hope some of this was at least partially useful. Good luck out there.

shigaraki fucking you in front of some of the LOV members (im about to climax)
This is SO funny because I've thought of this prompt so many times. I've been scared that it would be out of pocket but I consider Shigaraki my safe place to get crazy with my nsfw work. If I'm honest the only LoV member I'm down to write watching Shiggy and the reader fucking is Dabi, because Spinner and Twice don't seem like the type to get much into that. I hope you Dabi bitches like this.
Minors do NOT interact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Warnings: NSFW, fem-reader, exhibitionism, voyeurism, Dabi doesn't even touch the reader but he watches Shigaraki fuck you silly, rough sex, blowjob, overstimulation, dub-con, humiliation, reader is shy and doesn't talk much, masturbation (Dabi), possessive Shiggy, blue-haired Shigaraki (season 3ish era), Shigaraki and Dabi call the reader a slut/whore, not proofread (I also wrote this while listening to nsfw Shigaraki audios so it could be jumbled), Dabi flirts with reader, reader has long enough hair for a ponytail, Shigaraki calls reader babygirl, praise kink, slight aftercare, unprotected sex
"I can't believe you pulled one, Shigaraki. Not your disgusting ass."
"What? Jealous?" Shigaraki cackles.
"Yea okay. I'm just saying you're ugly as fuck and an incel at best. How you managed to get a girlfriend is beyond me."
~
You've been hanging around the league for a couple of months, via your relationship with Shigaraki. Honestly, you didn't even talk to them much. You were just there to keep Tomura company. Shigaraki, in his own twisted way, surely loved you. However, you felt as if he was making you his trophy at times.
Shigaraki never had a girlfriend until you. He hadn't even had sex. Sure, he watched a criminal amount of porn and somehow managed to get a few blowjobs from sex workers when he conned Kurogiri into giving him money for "online gaming packages." Aside from that, he had no experience. Especially no romantic experience.
So, yeah. He felt a bit of pride when you came into his life. As much as what Dabi was saying was pissing him off, Shigaraki found himself asking the same questions. Look at him. Dry, itchy, chapped lips, bony, a brat, and above all else, his quirk. But you chose him, and you were so beautiful that he had a hard time not popping a boner around you frequently. You were just so cute, how could he control it?
"You act like you're any better. Burnt flesh? Staples? Who'd want to fuck you?"
"At least I'm not annoying. Or pathetic."
That got Shigaraki, you could tell. You could see the rage in his eyes and you saw a fist forming. Shigaraki has gotten to a point where he wouldn't threaten life against his comrades, but that didn't mean he wouldn't beat their ass if they gave him lip. It's happened before. You reach out and grasp his wrist, gesturing him to calm down.
Shigaraki turns his face at you with a scowl. You give him a look that screams, "chill the fuck out." He digresses, slumping behind on the couch with a pout.
"I bet he's awful in bed, huh?" Dabi scoffs at you. If Shigaraki wasn't pissed before he sure was now. He doesn't get physical, though, just mouthy.
"Listen, patchwork. You better mind your business before I piss in your cheerios tomorrow morning!"
"All I'm saying is that a good-looking chick like her deserves to be with someone more competent. You seem like the type to get in and go haywire. I bet, I know, you have no technique. You're an incel."
"You're a broken record. Who are you to assume anything? Also, you better lay the fuck off! If you try anything with her I'll kick your ass out with no hesitation!"
"No need to get defensive. You wouldn't be getting so pissed if I was wrong, would you?"
If you're honest, if Dabi had brought this up a couple of months ago, he'd be right. Shigaraki had no clue how to fuck a woman when you first had sex. He knew where your clit was but didn't know how to use his fingers meticulously. When he penetrated you, like Dabi said, he let loose and just used you like a pocket pussy. Surprisingly enough, Tomura took your constructive criticism well. He was bratty and defensive but ultimately he did want to make you cum, quake, whimper, and scream for him. So he learned and he learned well.
"I'll have you know I made her cum a total of eleven times this week!"
"You count?"
This was awkward, them talking like you weren't even there.
Tomura growls in frustration. It was apparent that he wanted to take out his frustrations and he begins itching his neck.
"You better watch your fucking mouth. I don't need some rude dickhead like you judging my sex li-.."
Shigaraki stops talking, and the anger he is expressing turns into a sinister smirk on his face. Like he snapped in the complete opposite mood. Shigaraki leans against your side and slips an arm around your waist, pulling you to become smothered in his embrace.
His lips hover beside your ear and his raspy voice slips a seductive comment out, "would you say I'm bad at fucking you, Y/N?"
Your heart paces unexpectedly. Tomura always got you with those sly murmurs in your ear. Some people would consider his voice annoying, maybe cringy, but to you it was hot.
"Um...no.." you blush and your form closes in on itself. You couldn't help but feel very shy in this scenario.
"Right, don't I know how to make my babygirl feel good?"
Dabi cocks an eyebrow in curiosity, picking up on your timid demeanor. You can feel a quick pool of arousal forming in your panties, completely proving him wrong.
"Is that true? How good is he?"
You couldn't manage to really say much. This was a confusing situation. You felt a tad objectified. As they sat here and talked about if Shigaraki made you cum or feel good you felt in limbo. Yea, he did, but why was it Dabi's business?
"I mean.."
"We could show him, couldn't we?" Shigaraki begins stroking your hair affectionately, doing all the things he knows to make you melt. Dabi perks up, certainly intrigued by Shiggy's proposition.
"I don't know, Tomura.."
"Shhh it's okay. I'll treat you good, just let him watch. Let me show him how pretty you are, yea?"
Your face was flushed and your eye contact glued to your thighs, to which Shiggy began stroking the insides. He firmly seperates your right thigh to the side, leaving your pussy on display (which was covered by your panties, of course). You were wearing the prettiest black skirt and tank top, which showed off your beautiful cleavage. Tomura actually had some complaints about it, not wanting anyone but him to see how pretty you are. This situation you were in certainly contradicted that.
With your panties on display, Dabi could see the wet spot formed in between your thighs.
"Heh..she's already wet.."
"Really?" Shigaraki hadn't even noticed, being sitting beside you. He reaches his fingers down to glaze your panties, looking for the evidence. Surely enough, you were wet. "Heh.."
Shiggy runs his middle finger up and down your pussy over your panties, making sure to rub your clit upwards when he reached it. You whimper uncontrollably. He hardly did anything to you yet, but being in front of Dabi with Shigaraki showing you off like this? Your body was having instinctual responses you couldn't help.
Shigaraki begins circling your clit before crumbling away your panties, giving him full access to your heat, and displaying it to Dabi. You tense up, nervous and feeling exposed. He continues stimulating you, whispering sweet, empty nothings in your ear, "relax.."
Tomura pleasures your clit perfectly, not missing a beat in his attack on it. You begin moaning at the pleasure, which sends a shock of arousal to Dabi's cock.
"You wanna show him how much you love my cock?"
Your eyes shot wide open and without much warning Shigaraki pulls your tanktop below your tits, exposing both of your intimate areas. Your pussy grows more wet, and your clit twitches in excitement. Dabi notices how flushed your pussy is and continues to watch smugly, "Damn, I'm a little jealous, boss."
"You should be. She's gorgeous, right? Don't get any bright ideas, though. This is a privilege for you."
Shigaraki stands up and unzips his pants before encouraging you to kneel in front of him. You comply, getting on your knees and taking responsibility yourself. You grope his cock from the outside of his pants before pulling them down, revealing his cock.
"You've got a short dick," Dabi slys.
Shigaraki turns and shouts at him, "You have a real hard time with shutting the fuck up don't you?"
You turn your head the other way and chuckle a little. Their banter was funny, if you were honest.
"Hey chuckles..how about you use that pretty little mouth the right way?" Shiggy tilts your face towards his cock and presses it against your lips. Dabi wasn't wrong. Shigaraki didn't have the biggest dick. Maybe a little under 5 inches, but he had a decent girth that more than made up for it. You loved him just as he was, though. It wasn't a bother that he was a bit small.
You open wide and Tomura pushes his dick to the back of your throat slowly. You gag immediately, eliciting a laugh from him.
"What did you say, Dabi? Short dick?"
"That doesn't count, you know it."
Shigaraki scowls and grunts, but you distract him by wrapping your fingers around his base and dragging your mouth along his dick. You bob your head beautifully and pull up to lick around his tip. Shiggy groans with his raspy tone and forms your hair into a ponytail while you suck his cock.
You were able to catch a glance at Dabi and you saw him sitting there with his cock out, fumbling with his glans while he watched you suck Tomura's cock. You yelp on Shigaraki's cock, to which he thrusts in deeper.
"Mmm...you adore my cock, don't you?"
Yes, you did. It was hard to feel totally into this, though. While being watched and objectified. You knew that Shigaraki loved you, but he was clearly using his love for you to his advantage. He knew that because his love was somewhat sincere he could win you over to do pretty much anything. You never said no, though.
"Stop."
You look up, confused.
"It's your turn, Y/N. Up."
We were going all the way then, huh? You supposed it couldn't be helped and you stood up. Shigaraki pulled you into a sloppy kiss, while he glanced at Dabi with a competitive spirit on his face. Shigaraki turned you around and rested his hand on your back (but making sure to avoid a finger for obvious reasons). He pushes you down and presses his cock against your ass and you felt utterly exposed and vulnerable. You refused to look at Dabi, but you felt his burning gaze on you regardless.
Shigaraki ran his cock up and down your folds, teasing his cockhead along your clit. You whine in pleasure and embarrassment. Shigaraki coos at you, "shhh..."
He probably knows you're embarrassed, but he can't get enough of one-upping Dabi like this. He slowly guides his cock inside of you, savoring the warmth of your wet pussy. You moan in response and quickly enough, Shigaraki begins plunging his cock in and out of you at a musical rhythm.
"You're so pretty, Y/N. Such a good girl, taking my cock in front of him like this. Maybe I'll buy you that cute pink headset you've been wanting as a reward," Tomura chuckles.
"Good girl? Try slut. Out on display like a little whore," Dabi comments.
"Fuck off. She's only my slut. An obedient one, at that. Isn't that right, babygirl?"
"Mhm~!" There we go. That praise from Tomura was just what you needed to get you nice and comfortable. He knew it too, he wasn't stupid. He takes one of your hands and holds it backwards while he fucks you fast. Your tits dangle and bounce in front of Dabi and your pussy is dripping in arousal, running down your legs and dripping on the floor.
"Aah! Tomura!"
"That's it. You're going so well. Doesn't she look so sexy?"
"Mhm...can I have sloppy seconds when you're done?"
"Go fuck yourself. You wish."
At least Tomura had enough decency to know that you wouldn't like that at all. You only wanted him. Though, he may have only said that out of his own possessive nature, not for your comfort.
You continue to pant and cry out in embarrassment and arousal. Shiggy keeps smacking his hips against your ass and filling you with his cock. His dick certainly wasn't too short, as he rubbed up against your g-spot nicely, and he angled it the exact way you liked it.
Some sick part of you was beginning to feel a creeping orgasm approaching. Typically, you needed clit stimulation to cum, but the way Tomura was fucking you and how exposed you were was causing a newfound pleasure you hadn't experienced before. Your breath becomes heavy and you begin speaking gibberish.
"Tomura..Mm! I-, I'm, I'm gonna-"
"That's it..cum all over my cock. Show him how good I fuck you!"
Dabi strokes his pierced cock fastly and clenches his teeth, amused at your submission to Shigaraki. He fucks you even rougher and hits your G-spot in repeated rhythms. Your clit begins to spasm as you feel an internal wave of overwhelming pleasure surge throughout your whole body. You cum heavy on Tomura's cock, and the twitching walls of your pussy almost send him to a high as well, but he fights back for a bit.
Shigaraki fucks you silly even after your orgasm. Your sensitive cunt trembles as his cock continues it's assault. The sensations are overwhelming and almost hurt.
"Tomura..it's too much.."
"Just a little longer, baby. I gotta get my serving, too."
Your pussy keeps being pounded by Shigaraki as he has no restraint now that he's made you cum. Still, he hits your spot perfectly. His thrusts are desperate and yearning. He eyes Dabi with a cocky grin, "Told you. I told you I fuck her good. You oughta think before running your mouth."
"Mmff..you may be right. My apologies.."Dabi chuckles with a heavy sigh. As Shigaraki keeps fucking you unapologetically, Dabi cums all over himself watching you as you're being used as a trophy for Shigaraki to show off. It's not long after before Shigaraki also releases his load deep in your pussy with a heavy growl. He grips your hips as he holds you down on his cock, not missing a drop of his cum.
Your body is shaking from the intensity and you fall to your knees. Shigaraki bends down to pull you in his lap and strokes your hair.
"You did a good job..."
You had no words and could only bury your face into Shigaraki's neck for comfort. Tomura looks at Dabi with a look of victory on his face.
"Who's awful in bed, again?"
"Hey, I accept defeat. I guess you aren't as pathetic as I thought, boss." Dabi puts his cock back in his pants. "You got yourself a pretty one, you better treat her good."
"I plan on it."
Dabi gets up and goes to his room, closing the door. Tomura looks at you and messages your neck with as many fingers as he can.
"You're sticky. Come on, let's get in the shower."
"Okay.."
"Hey."
"Hm?"
"You know I love you, right? Even though I fucked you in front of that punk, you're my babygirl, and only mine."
"I know, Tomura. I love you too," you smile at him, feeling more content now that it's only you and him.
"Good. Let's get clean. You stink of cum."

teacher AU totally dumb ficlet for fun
The worst arguments that have happened in the satosugu house ranked.
5. Aged 11 Nanako and Mimiko turned Geto's shirt pink in the wash and blamed Megumi. They had to be separated at dinnertime because Megumi pulled out Rabbit Escape and swarmed the front room with rabbits that kicked Nanako and Mimiko in the face. Gojo held Megumi in the air stopping him from pulling Mahoraga while Geto held the twins on the table. Tsumiki sat at the table petting one of the rabbits. Dinner was ruined. No cursed techniques were allowed in the house after that and the twins and Megumi were sent to their rooms. Tsumiki finished her dinner and continued to pet the rabbit unbothered. She named it floppy because of its notable ear difference.
4. Megumi pretended Gojo was invisible for a week and didn't exist because he kept coming to pick him up from school in clothes matching his despite being asked not to. Megumi was 8 and it hurt Gojo deeply especially when Geto found it incredibly funny and started doing it too. Gojo did not enjoy this and apologised properly to Megumi.
3. Megumi defaced Nanako's BTS posters drawing moustaches on them all after she kept putting pictures of sea urchins online and tagging him as it. Geto and Gojo established a "no going into each other's bedrooms" rule which worked until the twins room got into such a state that their dad's had to intervene and amend the rule that people shouldn't go into each other's rooms for nefarious reasons. Retrieving laundry should be allowed.
2. Gojo and Geto had been known to bicker from time to time however they had had few genuine arguments. Geto binned a hoard of Gojo's sweet wrappers he was storing in a drawer without asking. Gojo was hoarding them to enter a competition with the details on the back and receive a life supply of the mochi brand.
Gojo yelled at him for binning his stuff without asking.
Geto said he wouldn't have to if Gojo tidied up after himself instead of leaving a wake of soft drink cans and wrappers throughout the house like a child.
Gojo asked if he had married a fucking tanuki since he seemed to love going through his garbage so much.
They spent a day not talking to each other and directing comments to their kids like "Tsumiki can you tell your dad to pass the ketchup" Tsumiki stood up and yelled that they were both acting like children and ran upstairs. The shock that Tsumiki could yell ended their argument.
1. Gojo put Geto's cast iron pan in the dishwasher.
It was a genuine mistake but Geto still took it v personally. Gojo offered to get him a new one, Geto enraged said that not everything could be fixed with goddamn money and that the pan was the first piece of kitchenware he had brought himself with his money as a sorcerer and had cared for since the age of 14 and that it just represented an ongoing argument between them that Gojo treated everything trivially that it could be fixed with money rather than communicate and treat things with care. Gojo said he didn't like that he saw him like that.
Geto said he should try thinking about things from other people's perspective then. Gojo scrunched his nose but took a moment.
"Then show me. I don't get it, I don't work like that but I don't want to live like this and hurt the people I love."
Geto stared at him for a moment and then gave him a kiss before showing him how to care for the pan properly with oil, putting it in the oven, explaining how it worked. Gojo listened intently and after that never made the same mistake again. He also started therapy. He knew Geto was right, when you can use infinity everyday things seemed trivial but the look on Geto's face when he was upset was enough to make him want to adapt and learn.
(Bonus: Tsumiki once kicked over a laundry basket in a fit of tiny 7 year old rage. Geto tried hard not to laugh at her adorable anger as Gojo spoke with her and she revealed that it wasn't fair that she had to be perfect while everyone else was able to be naughty and she didn't like it and didn't want to keep being good. They told her she was a child and was allowed to express her emotions so long as she wasn't hurting her self or family members and no one wanted her to be good, they wanted her to be Tsumiki and happy to be so. Tsumiki said good and that she wouldnt bottle it up anymore.
At dinnertime she stood and politely said that she hated peas and didn't like the way Gojo cooked potatoes. She sat down and then burst into tears and said she had gone to far in expressing her emotions. Gojo and Geto instantly pulled her in for cuddles. Megumi said she could have gone further and that all of Gojo's food sucked. Gojo called his comments rude and unnecessary. Megumi rolled his eyes and ate his peas.)
