I love Remillia. Can she marry me? I could use a mastermind like her. She'd destroy all of my enemies while benefiting our nation all at once. This is some chess 5d level shit she is doing right there. While Pina is not only utterly stupid but also very ugly inside. Her soul is trash.
Just look at her dumb face lol. Serves you right, Pina.
And in regard to your convo. Pina is seriously an idiot. She thinks of herself so highly that she doesn't even take threats seriously. WTF.
Not to mention how unhinged her proposal is.
Yeah, what indeed.
Manga Rec: The One Within The Villainess
Hey tumblr, I heard you like unhinged women.
The One Within The Villainess is the story of the elaborate revenge plan the protagonist/villainess Remilia enacts on those who had hurt the one she loves the most: the girl who was possessing her body.
It starts as a typical Isekai: Emi, a girl from our world, dies and reincarnates in the body of the villainess of her favorite otome game, Remilia, and decides she will live a happy, generous life. But here is the thing: Remilia is not gone. She is trapped inside her own body, so she can both acess Emi's past memories and watch as Emi lives her life.
And Remilia loves it.
The villainess, from within her own body, genuinely starts to love and adore Emi as her own sister.
But then something (or better, someone) happens (if you know the genre, you can imagine what), and all the friends Emi had tried so hard to make to give the villainess Remelia her happiness suddenly betray her. And the emotional shock is so strong that Emi gets "reverse isekaied": she goes to sleep inside the villainess, and Remilia, who had been watching over her for years now, takes control of her own body back.
And my girl is insanely pissed.
And so starts the journey of our villainess to both achieve "The Villainess Remilia's Happiness" that Emi tried so hard to give her and enact her extremely elaborated and cruel revenge plot against those who took Emi from her. She's unhinged and insanely smart and I love her.
The support cast is pretty good too, and the artwork is amazing. The plot doesn't fall back into cliches and the pay off is immensely satisfying.
Please, give The One Within the Villainess a try. You can read it here. And if you do read it let me know what you think!

Chapter 25, chapter 25
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5234023172d61d1a7398a7986b4338fd/7a40a5e5fec902f1-80/s540x810/c43bd0bf3ef36a1cda4f35d9a8d0917ede179f39.jpg)
Chapter 25 finally arrived, I swear I was obsessively waiting for the most recent update of the manga, and the chapter really felt too short.
More, I need more.
Overall, not much happened, but there is nothing more wonderful in this world than that evil, mocking smile, dear Angel, especially when it is directed at that damn cockroach.
Pina has actually placed the noose directly around her neck on her own accord (because she's stupid), and I really can't feel sorry for the Prince and his henchmen, because they brought it on themselves when they wanted to bring down our precious Emi out of jealousy.
The next chapters will be a delight, and I hope they also draw the extras of the novel. I don't want to wait until January! 😭
But anyway, applause for Angel, the MVP of this chapter, and let's hope for more from our glorious Remy and her revenge plans.

The Abhorrent Mother
***Major Spoilers for Final Fantasy XVI***
Calling Anabella the "devil" or a "bitch" sounds like a term of endearment rather than an insult. There are no words that accurately embody this woman. In my book, she wins the award for the most evil villainess which shows just how well-written she was! But it did get me thinking...in addition to the countless atrocities she committed, could it also be because she shatters the stereotype of the sacrificing and caring mother? Do we perceive her as more evil because of that?
In many cultures and religions, mothers are depicted as being soft, feminine, caring, unconditionally loving, and sacrificing for the betterment of their children and families. The character archetype of an "evil father" exists but that typically is more well-received.
When it comes to Anabella, it's as if she is the ultimate sacrilege of the pregnant mother who carries, gives birth, and loves her children dearly. Normally, with her attitude, we expect the classic "evil stepmother" archetype in full blossom. Clearly that is not the case here. I recall how some folks in the FFXVI discussion forums were waiting for the big reveal that she was indeed NOT Clive and/or Joshua's mother - because how could someone so evil give birth to two righteous sons? Turns out nope - she was, indeed, their biological mother through the bitter end!
If she was just an evil stepmother, that would have been incredibly commonplace and trite - making her their actual mother made her all the more impactful. Afterall, evil comes in all forms.
I also read that a few people had hoped she would get a redemption arc. I'm glad she didn't. And I'm glad that her and Clive never reconciled. She was too far gone and the years of verbal and emotional abuse could not be forgiven by Clive, Jill, and others. She betrayed her family, her nation, her people and started a chain reaction that altered history all to obtain more power, more riches, and an "upgrade" to her future royal bloodline.
When Bahamut/Dion killed the Emperor, sacked Twinside, and killed Olivier, all that she had built was ripped from her within minutes. (Also, notice how she did not even think to herself 'Hmm....why is there no blood or body?' after Olivier dissolved away into thin air upon being stabbed through. )
At her end, she had nothing left but to face the consequences of her actions. And I could only imagine that seeing her beloved Joshua whom she thought was dead drove the fear of some divine retribution right into her.
Personally that scene really hurt to watch - how Joshua was the last person to offer her his hand when no one else would. But that speaks more to who he is as a person. To be fair, the last time he saw his mother was when he was 10 years old and he was the one person she showed a shred of decency albeit because he was the Phoenix. Otherwise, she would have tossed him aside like she did Clive.
When she frantically swiped her blade at him and cut him in her madness, I thought, "Yep...time for her to go! How dare she hurt our beloved birb?!"I also thought it fitting that in the moment of escaping accountability, she died by her own hand. It was heartbreaking to see Joshua witness yet another parent's death right before his eyes. Clive and Jill looked away in pity for her.
She could have been the mother of not one but two Dominants and be remembered in history for that. But she threw away her family happily with both hands.
The lesson here - "some of the most poisonous people to walk the earth come in the form of family." Sure, people do deserve forgiveness depending on what their actions were but there are rare times when a so-called redemption arc is not earned and not deserved.
One final lesson is that as a child, you have the power to be different from a horrible parent and that fact is glorious.

The fact that Remilia, the main Villainess of the isekai story, was given so much kindness because of Emi who reincarnated in her body and who loved her as a character and wanted the best for her, that when Emi left her body and Remilia had control of it again, she dedicated to wanting nothing but happiness and peace for the world because she wanted to keep the kindness Emi represented Remilia with in this world.
Remilia is an Oathbound Paladin to Emi's beliefs. She wants a kind world for Emi to return to and believes in her and loves her so much that she dedicated her life to being kind and altruistic because that's what Emi would do. What was supposed to be a Chaotic Evil villain character turned into a Lawful Good hero who will absolutely kill Gods for her friends sake and choke the ones who made Emi disappear.
Sorry I just binged this manga tonight and I'm about to pass out in my bed. Anyway I fucking love Remilia and Emi and I wish for nothing but the best for them. If I don't see them have a dream-sequence where they hug I will be major sad.
Holy cow The One Within The Villainess might be my favorite revenge isekai manga so far.
#spoilers#the one within the villainess#dia talks#i need to lie down... wait im already lying down#i wish to sink into my matress with my tears in my eyes over how much Remilia loves Emi#this is what people are SAYING when they say Outhbound Paladins can be good#YOU HAVE to give them some vendetta over them believing so much in the binding they havr with their God#or in Remi's case the Soul of her isekai'd friend Emi#FUCK i want more chapters there's only 15 chapters out now this manga is way too recent#finally an isekai i am genuinely invested in

"how do I make everyone happy?"
A personal interpretation of the dream Iana has after she fell from the tower.
(Contains major spoilers, Isaac x Iana (?), angst, super short, whoever the author of this manga was I hate you I love you, 900+words)
Thinking of it now, I couldn't help but feel ashamed of myself.
I mean, I created an entirely different fantasy world just to fulfil my weird desires, despite already having so much here.
My worrywart of a mother, a grandma that smiles kindly at me, and a father that always came back home every evening on time.
But I wanted more, so I wrote my "wishes" on the notebook, now hidden within the depths of my closet because I was ashamed of myself.
I named the person I wanted to be the most "Konoha", a name that was supposed to belong to me but no longer does. Someone who was loved by many, because of how lovely she was. Someone who was special.
That special person wasn't me in the end, but that's fine.
I drone out the voices of my teachers as they go on and on about things I'm not interested in, at least compared to the world I write beneath my pen.
It is my solace, joy, the only thing I believe that's worth having for someone like me.
"Hehehe..."
'It's as I thought, red suits him best!'
I scribble down the shadings of a finely tailored coat I designed myself for Ginoford, careful not to cross the lines I refined with care.
All to make my - supposed - beloved look the best.
'But what's the point? The person he loves is "Konoha".'
Not Iana.
"You're laughing to yourself again."
"Yipes!"
I couldn't help but yelp in surprise as the boy behind me talked to me. Reflexively, I ended up dropping my precious pen, and didn't dare to look behind to see who was talking to me.
Having grown up romance-brained, I was more conscious of boys than most. Despite having my perfect Ginoford, there were times where I would shamelessly fantasize about forming a relationship with the boys around me, making up all sorts of weird ass scenarios.
'Maybe the boy that watches me from behind has a secret crush on me?'
Usually, the thought of it would get me excited.
But not anymore.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about. I am a perfectly diligent student-!"
"Oh please, I saw you freaking out in the library reading uh, I think it was called-"
"Please don't say that out loud!"
Wanting to interrupt him to prevent him from spilling my smut secrets, I whipped behind me ready to cover his mouth but...
'I...can't see him.'
The way you could never see someone properly, not even in a dream. At times when you feel like widening your eyes to get a better look but you end up waking up.
Iana doesn't want to wake up, so she doesn't bother trying to open her eyes wider to get a better look at him.
'Now that I think about it, have I heard his voice before?'
The boy smiled back at me, his face a blur and his smile familiar.
It felt like a long distant memory, one I didn't want to recall.
"Hey, Iana?"
"!"
That name...
The name of the villainess of my convoluted story, the one that barely made it past the first few chapters, killed off because I wanted it to be so.
I should have just let myself die then.
"How can I make everyone happy?"
'How can I stop hurting people?'
"....hurk."
I couldn't stop this sadness welling up inside me, suffocating me.
Telling me that I was wrong.
"Ugh......"
Before I knew it, tears started to flow from my eyes.
"I don't know!"
I stood up, chair clattering noisily behind me with a pain so excruciatingly strong searing through my chest, and it felt as if I could just disappear into something else worthy of my sins.
"I wouldn't know! All I've ever done is hurt those closest to me even when I didn't want to! All I wanted was..."
I collapsed onto my knees, my strength failing me.
"To make everyone happy."
He finishes my sentence for me, the same way he would cut in between the long rants we shared as we yowled and fought with each other, reading our favourite books late until morning came.
"I'm sorry, Isaac."
It was all my fault, truly. Now everyone in this world will rightfully hate me, wishing for my demise, my death.
This time, not as a villainess, but a "villain".
"It's all my fault you died-!"
"You dummy."
I felt a warm hand pat me on the head.
"Being with you was the most peaceful, and happy I've every felt."
"So go back home without me, Iana."
I didn't want to look at his face, but some part of me felt compelled to, as I slowly raised my head as if I were attempting to look him face to face, to lock gazes with eyes I know I won't see ever again.
"The beautiful world you wished for...will definitely come true."
Satou Konoha–Iana Marigold–sees his signature grin for the final time.
"Why? Because the person who I want to be happy the most is you."
The dream starts to fade away into specks of light, bright dust scattering away to nothingness until I couldn't see or feel anything anymore.
"So it's okay if I'm not here anymore."
'Wait, don't go. Not yet-!'
I reach out for him, trying to hold on to him but like the last time, I don't make it.
Could I ever?
"Just live, Iana."
That's what I thought I wanted too.
I didn't feel like waking up anymore, and many nights after that I dread going to sleep.
For the inevitability of waking up to a new day where I hurt someone else.
#the dark history of the reincarnated villainess#the reincarnated villainess' dark history#Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi#this manga had me mourning at 2am like wth#this manga hurt me and attacked me personally emotionally in so many ways it's kinda insane#anyways pumping out these fics because

For my villainess Izumi au.
I will break another trope....
Izumi and the past users aren't family. That being said they aren't hostile with each other (that would be stupidly unproductive) but it's a tense and interesting relationship
Ofa in my fic is about consent ...but they picked Izumi and didn't ask what she thought, Izumi who endured abused in the hands of bk and aldera bc she was an easy target.
They made her a bigger target now.
Izumi wants to get rid of them. Kill afo, the ofa is free. Pretty straight forward
She doesn't like how they all seem suicidal (BK suicidal bait her and while Izumi is not suicidal ...people who throw their lives bother her a lot)
So Izumi goes off script.
And I realize how people don't make such dynamic...they want ofa users to be family and I totally get bc Izu has no one but here? Izumi is not interested.
And is not spoiler but Izumi kills afo...that's the thing. She will do what am couldn't and that is bound to shaken him.
Her fire quirk is a gift from ofa and while she has issues (her quirk is an explosive l, she understandable is not happy at first ) she grows to overcome and even make this quirk hers.
Snd she kills BK a la QUIRKLESS bc that's ge ultimate fuck you.
She has a powerful version of a fire and explosive quirk? Fuck you BK, she won't use on you.
Sort paralleling how Shoto had his fire quirk but didn't use till Izuku talked some sense into him.
Hi @mikeellee 👋
As much as I love the ofa is a little found family ideas I also find this idea really interesting.
In reality, It would make a whole lot of sense for the ofa users to have a tense relationship between one another possibly starting from the 4th user as from what we know he got the quirk somehow from Bruce and then isolated himself probably due to fear and due to danger sense setting off horribly everytime he tried going into big groups. This could be explored, and Bruce giving hikage ofa triggered a cycle of other ofa users being a bit tense and even blaming one another for some of their suffering and the huge pressure put on them.
Within the mha universe consent is only a one way thing when it comes to ofa meaning that it is the ofa user that needs to consent to their quirk being taken instead of it being a mutual things which could spark more tensions between some ofa users and change their relationship dynamic due to the incredibly vague ideas of consent here.

Truth be told one having ofa will for sure paint them a target on their back and considering that izu here definitely doesn't want the attention it's worse because at least in Canon izu getting ofa was framed as him becoming a second all Might and showing of his abilities in the Sports Festival was a way of him telling people that he was here and that the reign of all might may of ended but izuku is here
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/71c0e5bad9eace0bb6233c0473576d78/6cecf0812a678866-c6/s540x810/9a7bb80c02f627af06f7ffc46fe9c87edb1ffca8.jpg)
Izu wants to destroy the cycle, and you know what that's completely fair, and I love this idea! I genuinely want the cycle to be destroyed by an outside force compeltly ending ofa and afo two sides that can never destroy one another without building up on eachother.
I have already mentioned it before but ofa is just an energy stockpiling quirk meaning that as long as izu releases energy that's how the quirk works so izu learning to release energy via fire breathing linking back to her fathers quirk assuming that she did inherit enough of his dna to do that would be hella cool for her to weild and truly make ofa her own quirk which is something that also ties into her breaking the cycle of ofa and afo.
Also, can we talk about how having izuku kill bakugo with fire is so ironic. You're telling me that bakugo ends up dying to his own element to someone who he viewed inferior to him?!?!? A fire that burnt more than he could engulfing him and destorying his greed is so deserved. Also, all of this parallels so nicely with dabi, who is framed to be the opposite in this scenario. Dabi is trying to kill enji with his own element and failing, dabi's body not being built for fire, dabi coming back and living just by determination and hatred, dabi going mad seeking justice and also being unwantingly involved in the ifa and afo cycle.
This is a nice way to really emmbed izu into the todoroki family arc, especially because you mention direct parallels withvher and shoto and how that would probably be a fire vs. fire match where they both show two different sides of fire, the duality of nature, I suppose. Fire can give life, yet it can easily take it.

Spoilers about the The One Within The Villainess (short story) that isn't adapted yet, though I'm sure the manga will expand the story in its own way:
Having read the whole story I can only say that it's really good. I don't think it reaches the high the manga gave me during the first chapters but, even that part wasn't that great without the amazing panels so, kudos to the artist, and I believe they can still surprise me.
The part that I wanted to talk is the ending and Emi though.
I don't like the ending. One of the worse parts is that Remelia ended up with Angel. I would not have minded if they got together at the end because of love, but I feel as if at the end Remelia didn't really love Angel and it was only because of Emi's impact that she "loved" Angel. She "loved" him so that, when (if) Emi returned, she would have him. The whole Emi child isn't that great either but that's another can of worms that I don't want to talk about.
Or how Emi didn't appear again. Of course, I understand that it was a choice, but I had expected Emi to at least have a conversation with Remilia. Like, I didn't expect the whole story to have Emi in the sidelines cheering Remelia (though it would have been funny), but at least a farewell or some insight from Emi's pov would have been nice. Or some late switcheroo where Emi and Remilia shared more their body as the other did things. I expected a bit more of this from the intro and title but, oh well, it was good nonetheless.

Guys. I need to get this off my chest because I fr needed to get rid of this obsession of this Smug Gremlin Merchant and the ship itself,🧍and also how I felt about Remilia ending up with The Demon King. I have actually created this a long long long time ago because I was too shy to share my thoughts but then I remembered, Who cares!?
So lemme share y'all a madman obsession, all because of a Smug Gremlin Merchant.
Do Note: This isn't a proper paragraph text because I just copy paste from my Google Docs, So No Beta We Die Like Men.
⚠️Chapter Spoilers Ahead and Madman's Ramblings⚠️
The One Within the Villainess
Reasons why Remilia (Remilia Rosa Graupner)
the OG Villainess should have gone the romance route with Thorne the Merchant/Shopkeeper.
(The symbol or emblem should be Thorn vines shaped like a Web with Purple Rose in its Center)
(THORNE HAS LORE IN CHAPTER 9, WTF- THORNE HAS LORE, HE HAS LORE!!!, I HAVE TO REDO!!!! AND FU- ANGST, ITS GONNA BE ANGSTY BUT I WANT A HAPPY ENDING THAT THOSE TWO ARE THE MAIN COUPLE!!!)
1.) It would be WAY INTERESTING! There would be some CONFLICT! DRAMA! and SOME FINALLY FREAKING FRESH AND NEW ZHIT!
- Okay seriously you could do a freaking lot with this like YOO! Have you not seen it?! THE POSSIBILITIES OF THIS SHIP?!?!
- Like obviously, it ain't the Demon King, it ain't the soon-to-be King aka Crown Prince or motherfreaking Powerful asf Mage but A GUY WHO IS A MERCHANT
- Plot Twist but not really, HE IS A DEMON
- There is probably one but SEE, IT IS FREAKING RARE
- I also want Malewife and Girlboss Dynamic
- Like Charming Sly Malewife and Powerful Cunning Girlboss, they're both intelligent in different ways
- For Thorne, it will be People Skills aka He has great interpersonal skills or is great at being empathetic and communication skills (Ironic kuz He is a Demon) and is great with finances (His a Merchant Damn it!), also he should be great at being an alchemist (Kuz I am taking this idea from the premium items he sells), and appraiser (kuz obviously).
- While Remilia is somewhat good at those things, she is mostly great at being a Battlemage or mage warrior (Thanks to Emi), politics, strategist, smooth-talker and most of all being a badass queen (Honestly Remilia is too Badass OP, that I will think again what she is great at)
- I want Thorne to be great at reading people's body language (Merchant) or great at reading at people in general and can clearly tell someone is not whom they seem
- As much as Remilia is good at reading people, Thorne is way better because of his merchant experience and his high Intuition & Instincts, and he may not look like it but he is quite observant that he is able to tell something is off from someone, especially if he has a lot of information about them or knows them well enough
- Like Thorne has Kinesics(?)
- Also Thorne is secretly skilled at using plant magic since he is quite proficient at using plant magic
- You see where I am going with this? HEHEHEH
- So I find out from Chapter 9, the reason why Thorne doesn't have demon-like features is that it is a sign of lower or weak magical energy/power
- Usually, that will prevent me from making Thorne a Powerful Plant Mom Demon but I did type a skilled plant magic user, So Thorne is still a Skilled Plant Mom Magic User
-So I also find out in Chapter 9 about How Thorne believes that Remilia will make the Demon King, Angel Happy and erase the pain that has burdened him like the chapter was literally dedicated to Angel's Lore and Suffering, and how he deserved better which was stated by Thorne.
- and I am like "Oh Zhit, HOW AM I- OH BOI- OH NO- FU-"
- But then Remember why I was very hyper-fixated or obsessed with this ship of mine
2.) One of the reasons why I was obsessed with shipping Thorne and Remilia was that I DID NOT LIKE THE REASON WHY REMILIA AND ANGEL ENDED UP TOGETHER! (Update Again if Big Change Happened, like Chapter 9)
The reason was that Pina the Bish, favorite character was the Demon King, and Remilia who was out for revenge was like "Oh? Thats your favorite character? And you want to Marry him? WELL SIKE!! HIS MINE NOW!"
And thats like one of the greatest revenge ever but I found out even more that Remilia didn't marry out of Love for Angel, She married out of Spite to Pina's face
And She doesn't mind marrying Angel because he loves "Emi's Remilia" but I, the Hopeless Romantic Fool does not consider that as Love at all! I rather if Angel loves Remilia for herself! Even if it pains me even more that Remilia and Thorne will never be a together.
And Angel deserves someone who's freaking honest, isn't used for the sake of revenge, and is an actual LOVE! I mean chapter 9 was literally dedicated to Him freaking crying because he is killing his own people (and his brother, which I know won't happen kuz Remilia is gonna prevent that) and the burden of being King who has to kill his own kind just to stop even more killings
It honestly hurts knowing that they "Love" you or marry you because of revenge, To Spite a motherfreaking bish. Angel deserves better. Angel deserves someone that actually loves him
If I guess, Remilia could slowly fall in love with Angel when they are married but that's a big "IF" and knowing that she has to pretend to be "Emi's Remilia" to him and not herself in front him is already a no-no
I just want Remilia to be herself, even if it is only a single person, and also talk about Emi (LOL She needs to boast about her favorite reincarnator)
3.) Why Thorne? Why Him?
I can't fully explain it since I am clearly bad with words and constantly forgot the knowledge I learned, especially with my vocabulary. So I will say this as I explain in number 1 but let's add more. The reason that I have chosen Thorne, and why I was hyper-fixated with that character and would love for him to be the main love interest for Remilia is because of how he was drawn. His drawn cat eyes were the moment I instantly love this character and the way his personality showed the more you look at his expression whenever he reacted to Remilia's words or actions. Honestly, I already explained more in number 1 that Thorne and Remilia will be interesting asf, and something brand new or something fresh of breath air.
I also wished Thorne to be ML because if I tried to understand based on chapters alone, Remilia always went out to grab the quest items and always come back home to either spend a day or a few days. So it probably means Remilia and Thorne also spend quite time with each other, and it's usually because of business but don't you bond with your business partner? Yes! Yes, you do bond with them, which means their connection with each other will go better and stronger. So, I know Thorne is merely a merchant but that's the interesting part he is merely a merchant which is a breath of fresh air since the male leads are always either, a crown prince, a knight, a powerful wizard, or a demon king. I mean sure the plot twist of Thorne was him being a demon but that's it.
I am just taking advantage of the fact that he and Remilia spend more time together than Angel and Remilia because I have a headcanon that Remilia is a type of person who falls in love with a person if they bonded emotionally or spend so much quality time with each other. Usually one of the factors is her love for Emi, thats like the biggest reason she started her revenge but what if Remilia also fall in love while still doing her revenge for Emi. Because I just imagine Remilia remembering Emi's wise words as she starts to slowly fall in Love with Thorne's being, his expressive face, his wit, his cat smug face, and his honesty with her as they bond together.
I want Remilia to slowly fall in Love, and finding out this how Love is, and how different loving someone like a family and a lover. Of course Thorne will be similar to the original but let's make his personality even shine more, especially the way he reacts, talk, and How the hell did become a capable chief!
4.) Thorne is Cute ASF, and he probably is one of the people who understand her way better especially if she confesses about Emi and more. No.3 explained better.
- This on Reddit that was explained way better but Yes. The 2nd Picture was my Response.

5.) Thorne's Headcanon full name is Thornevine Amin Ginton
-Actually idk if I prefer Thorne Amin Ginton or Thornevine Amin Ginton, I just added -vine on his name full name kay I thought it sounded good (PLEASE DON'T LAUGH-)
-Amin means Devoted and Ginton means Garden
-A Devoted Garden 🥺💖❤️💖
-So I found out Thorne was an Orphan Kid from Chapter 9, So I will headcanon that he learned those words from Miss Mizari or a wise old person and instantly falls in love with it, and turned into his full name
-THAT'S HOW CUTE THORNE IS!!
-OR! When Remilia and Thorne decided to become a couple or Married even 😏, They will make their own last names together!! TO REPRESENT THEIR LOVE~! 🥺🥺💖❤️💖
-THAT'S HOW WHOLESOMELY CUTE THEY ARE!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I can't believe you just read all that. Here, have some of my Fanarts that I didn't get to share because I was Internet Shy-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I imagine a scene where Thorne is asking Remilia if she is willing to forgive him for what he did to Emi (The Love and Charm Potion/Perfume)
[I have no clue what Remilia is wearing on this one ⬇️]
This was just my take on Manga's "ML" in every otome romance manga. Also this whole time, Thorne isn't Tan Skin but a Milquetoast Guy 😭😭
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So anyway, Thank you for Reading a Madman's Obsession throughout Last Year-
Will this obsession be over? I have no clue. 🧍
the one within the villainess spoilers. anyways my theory is that when remilia is drawn with one eye highlight that means that its just her whos present/fronting at that moment but when theres two emi is also more aware/closer to the surface
#.din#.txt#the one within the villainess#because the two eye highlights dont JUST happen when remilia is emi-ing particularly hard so its not just acting#also bbeen thinking a lot about how effective an allegory for DID/osdd this manga is. not like canonically but it can be read thusly
The One Within the Villainess
Author(s): Makiburo , Shiraume Nazuna
Synopsis: Remilia- the villainess of an otome game- has been peacefully watching Emi- a young girl from Japan who reincarnated into Remilia’s body. However, after having her engagement annulled and being publicly shamed, Remilia returns to clear Emi’s name and seek revenge!
My Thoughts: Remilia is the kind of vengeful aroace goddess that I can only wish to be. The relationship between these two girls, who have never met, is fantastically heart warming. And, like the D4 ASpec that I am, I am thirsty for some good friendship content. Remilia also girl bosses into the sun. Her business prowess is top notch and (SPOILER ALERT!) she literally fights a god (No more spoilers). She is very overpowered, but only cares about using her powers for Emi’s sake. The business talk does get a little boring at times, but honestly,I just skip it and fill in the blanks.
Side note, I think Remilia gives solid C3.
My Rating: 9.8/10
thank you for recommending The One Within the Villainess in tags you left in a reblog!! I immediately went to read it and it's genuinely such a nice story, thank you for making us discover it!! ^_^
I'm glad you liked it!! It's a very enjoyable story, I think, due to the unique motivations of the main characters. I originally just got into it as a revenge + villainess reincarnation manga, but I think now my favorite part of it is just how genuinely it takes the concept of, well, plurality, though I don't know if the author knows it's a real thing or not. A fair amount of reincarnation stories I read don't really delve into these kinds of possibilities, so it's quickly become one of my favorites.
If you enjoyed that story, I'd also recommend With One Day Left, I'll Break All the Destruction Flags, which takes a very different direction with the plurality in it (in fact, just saying plurality shows up in it is a spoiler – hope you don't mind!), so be prepared for something a little darker if you read it. There's also The Old Man Reincarnated As a Villainess, which has some similar themes to TOWTV, though last I checked it's more along the lines of plural-adjacent or possibly some complicated median system situation, depending on how you view it. In terms of general reincarnated villainess comics, I can't recommend The Villainess Reverses the Hourglass enough! It's an excellent manhwa*, even if I haven't found any plurality present in it (yet; never can tell what future updates/chapters I haven't read yet will bring!).
There are other stories of this kind I read from time-to-time, but I'm awful at remembering the names of them
*Korean form of/term for this kind of comic; compare to the Japanese manga and Chinese manhua
#asks#front soup.txt#side note sometimes it's called The Villainess Turns Back the Hourglass#you'll find the names can vary depending on the translation#if you don't already know that lol
"Yes, well.... no. Forget I asked. The receiver territory is full of pretentious fools anyways."
Want to decide some elements of the Land of the Fallen Fairies?
Welp, I like feedback too much, here's all the spoilers.
So after Anuli and Kamari get discovered by the Unseen because Anuli took them in a circle - culminating in a fight where Anuli realizes that fae is a lot more dangerous than fae thought - look up fiddle leaf figs. (still trying to figure out if Kamari is nearsighted or farsighted, so fae needs more time than most trying to navigate, and Anuli's inattentive ADHD makes it difficult for faer to navigate, so they are both not the best in that field.) Kamari decides that they can't just live on the borders between territories, so fae wants to take Anuli to a place where they will have the protection of another territory.
Trinity Hollow has three territories, and they aren't really opposing clans or kingdoms, they are more so different ways of thinking about the pixie crisis and what to do with fallen fairies.
(Fallen Fairies - dryads that are supposedly "less connected" with their tree. At least, that's the more connected/ more wild fairies' justification for going after the ones who are less connected with society... since planted fairies aren't as connected within the root systems.)
Kamari and Anuli are running from the Unseen, who "collects" supposed fallen fairies from other territories with ambassadors. Kamari - being chosen by the fates - is supposed to rid of all the fallen fairies, and fae goes along with this hoping fae will be treated like everyone else, free to do what fae wants, despite the fact that faer tree is planted.
That is, until Anuli breaks faer tether, couple that with being tree-less and Anuli is a bona fide fallen fairy.
And well... Anuli is Kamari's youngling, the one who let faer have the fate the others told faer fae would have to "earn".
So Kamari has two choices. Go to the Guardian territory, or go to the Receiver territory. Fae choses the Guardian territory, what I need help with is determining if faer reasoning makes sense.
So the Receiver territory (the one I have developed the least) deals with the Pixie crisis by adopting a "everyone for themselves" sort of strategy, it was trusting these pixies and being gullible that got them into this mess after all.
That being said, the Receiver territory is very accepting and doesn't believe in putting fallen fairies to death or even treating them any different than the others. They just... won't help you. They will allow outsiders, but they expect you to take care of yourself and no one will give you the benefit of the doubt.
The only fairy the Receiver territory dislikes is the High Protector. They do not want any fairies coming into their land proclaiming that the answer is to trust them to save the world of fallen fairies.
Kamari is the High Protector.
This means the receiver territory is a no go.
---- (This snippet has a trigger warning for thoughts of self-harm)
Kamari met my eyes. "Something wrong?" Absolutely everything. "Nooo.... Why would anything be out of place. No wrongness in existence whatsoever. "Pft," Kamari smiled, "Okay, little one..." Kamari's wings hunched as fae stared at the ground. Did I do something wrong? Was fae upset? I must've done something... Did fae finally realize that I was the villai- "You would... would you be okay on your own?" ".... Backstory?" "It's just a question. Hypothetically, do you think you would be able to take care of yourself?" I blinked. Question. Question that I should answer but the fibers wormed their way through my skull, wrapped around my head, and yanked, tearing my thoughts to shreds. Take care of- Should I have answered the question? Probably. I've been quiet too long. "I- I think not... Be able too... take care of... wait. You're - hypothetically - asking me to be by myself?" "Ye-yes. You would be okay with that?" Would I - no. No no no. I messed up everything and didn't know how anything worked and I would get lost and die immediately. But Kamari would rid of faer villain. Shouldn't my incompetence showcase be a necessary evil? Shouldn't I let faer have faer happy ending? I twirled my antennae. Yes. I would be okay by myself and leaving me alone forever would be the correct answer. "I - I... maybe." That was not 'yes' Anuli. Can't even do that right. And antagonists were supposed to be competent threats. MAYBE I should walk away, right now, and bash my head open with the nearest rock. I shook myself. Wildly, unnecessarily morbid thoughts. Kamari flicked faer antennae. "Yes, well... no, forget I asked. The Receiver Territory is full of pretentious fools anyways." ----
TL;DR - Kamari knows that Anuli cannot really take care of faerself, fae's been tethered faer "whole life" and has no survival skills. And Kamari cannot go with faer to the Receiver territory to take care of Anuli.
Which leaves the Guardian Territory.
It has its cons, for sure. They don't accept outsiders without setting yourself up with connections, or proving yourself useful. These fairies stress the idea of legacy, with each guardian passing on memories and nutrients to their young. So that would make integrating more difficult, but.... Kamari knows the Mother Fairy of that territory. They would be more accepting to the High Protector, and they protect the useful young (useful being extremely important here) from the ambassadors with fierce protectiveness, so Anuli might have that.
At the very least, Kamari will be there to protect Anuli.
So my question for all those here (congrats for reaching this far <3) is....
Thank you to anyone who leaves feedback - it is much appreciated
Also! for those of us who support women's wrongs:
The One Within the Villainess
^basically, have you ever been so gay for the girl who got transmigrated into *your* body that you killed god about it?
Tales of Reincarnation in Maydare: the world's worst witch
^a girl who is very proud of her ancestor, the Worst Witch, but there are many reincarnation shenanigans afoot
I'll be a Villainess that Goes Down in History
^Alicia has zero awareness of how people actually perceive her, but she is hardcore asf. Name me another isekai protag who would [spoilers and also body horror tw] rip out her own eye with zero hesitation because she wanted to.
And another for funzies (and because I need someone to talk to about it):
I was Reincarnated as the Villainess in an Otome Game but All the Boys Love me Anyway!
^don't let the title fool you, this is one of the best currently ongoing ones I've read. Every SINGLE Character in this series is some flavor of yandere obsessed with our protag Mystia. And she is just, so very autistic, and just trying to live her life. Thankfully for her, all of the yandere's cancel each other out so no one has died (yet).
Isekai with male protags: "I was a loser on earth but now I'm super fucking strong and gettin mad bitches"
Isekai with female protags:
Reincarnated princess uses earth knowledge to make magitech a thing and romances sad girl
Girl romantically pursues her video game waifu
Girl is tasked to teach actual fucking gods to be more empathetic to humans
Woman reincarnated as the daughter of a magic item crafter uses earth knowledge to advance her trade
"Straight" girl is sucked into a world with zero men and lesbians everywhere and finds out she's sapphic (there's like actual plot but the gay is what matters.... to me)
A ghibli film. Need I say more
Woman reincarnated in video game as doomed villainess desperately tries to change her story
Girl reincarnated as a tiny baby spider kills monsters to level up
Like the male protag one but the lame guy's mom got isekaid with him and she's the op one.
Two normal girls fight urban legends in terrifying danger dimension
#girlsekai#girl isekai#I've got a tierlist if you want more recs#I have read#so many#manga#manhwa#manwa#also seconding some of the ones above#for better or for worse#the holy grail of eris#shoutout to I'm the villainess so I'm taming the final boss#and I was Forced to Give Up My Fiance to my Sister but the Great Dragon took a Liking to me and Made me his bride#both are a bit simple but still good times#oh#and#Accomplishments of a Duke's Daughter has a primo male and female lead#tw body horror
Carefully Choosing a Husband
"Carefully Choosing a Husband"
Original Novel by YU-IRAN (same author as "A Villainess for the Tyrant")
Adaption by DUM
Art by BEAKBAEK and SEOB
“Carefully Choosing a Husband” is returning with season 2 on November 28th, so I figured I’d post some of my notes. I’ll still post a recap comment on Tapas when it comes out (my notes are long too long to post this is a trimmed down version).
My spoiler free review of season 1 is: fluffy, overall warm and comedic read. Though, I wish Elrose (FL) and Rakshan (ML) would be honest that they want to live together!
If you haven’t read season 1, spoilers ahead!
Elrose marries Rakshan Asid to claim finally claim her mother's inheritance after 14 years, because her father, who stole it, finally died. She donates everything to the Imperial Family, on the condition the garden is kept the same (and she happens to still get 100k that her mother left her in various banks). Rakshan is the half-brother of the current emperor; his mother was the former empress Eukresia and his father was Mercenary King Harkan, who Rakshan took over for. Rakshan tells the Emperor he's interested in Elrose. Elrose's step-mother drugs and tries to kidnap her, but Rakshan saves her. Donations made to the imperial family can be withdrawn within 1 year, so they decide that since Elrose also doesn't have a place in mind, she'll go to Rakshan's hometown, Eden, with him. Elrose doesn't say, but she wants to live together (1-12). They reach Eden and Rakshan tells Kiyan not to call him chief and to make sure the others know, and the Elrose will only be here for a year - though Kiyan doesn't think so (14) (chapter 14 has a big people drop). Elrose agrees to cook for everyone and is excited about it, though a lot of the pantry food is bad. Kiyan and the guys ruin nearby houses so Elrose has to stay at Rakshan's. They find basil and other goods on Anan's farm. The merchant that ripped them off will be by tomorrow. Everyone pitches in 5 gold coins to purchase food from the groceries, but Elrose is cooking, so they tell her not to and that they'll pay her 10 gold a week .Elrose will take it over ordering from the merchant. (20). Elrose wishes Rakshan would stay with her in his house (21). Elrose confronts the merchant, who tries to run, is caught by Rakshan and Kiyan, and signs an agreement that he will provide high quality food for free one a week for the next year (22). Elrose decides on Sion's house, next to Rakshan's, meets Lisa, learns about wolfdogs, and there are nearby cows and chickens (23). Anan's warehouse was a greenhouse and he had seeds. Anan experimented with plants and made wheat that could survive locusts and storms (24). Elrose presents a plan to rebuild the village, but it requires them to welcome people so Daruse refuses and leaves, but the others agree (25). Some of the residents want to leave. Lisa hires the group to find the thief that took her rooster (26). We learn about demonic beasts, magic, hybrids (which devastated the north), and monsters. The monster is killed and Elrose adopts a divine beast, Eterua "Rua". They go to Deva for the monthly market to get Lisa livestock so her family can stay (27-32). Rua picks good livestock. Elrose says Harkan isn't a good lord and is neglecting his duty, which makes Rakshan reflect. We see siblings Priscilla "Cilla" and her older sister, Daisy, trying to steal to get by. Elrose saves Cilla from having her hand cut off, but she fainted. They take her back to Elden. After 3 days, Cilla wakes, tries to leave to return to Daisy in Deva, faints, and so Rakshan and Kiyan will go look for Daisy in Deva while Cilla recovers. Daruse finds Daisy. His parents were killed by an outsider they welcomed into their home, which is why he didn't want to accept outsiders (33- 37). A week later, Cilla tells Elrose that her family owned a bakery on Lindhurst, which Daisy took over at 20, fell in love with Emad, a Northerner, who convinced her to sell the bakery and move north. He took the money, treated them like slaves, smashed Daisy's wrist when she tried to run away, and threw them in the woods (38). Daisy recognizes the bread Cilla makes and runs, with vague direction, to Rakshan's (39). Emad shows up with a bunch of mercenaries, having heard Cilla was in Elden. Daisy runs by, screaming for Cilla, with Daruse behind her (40). Emad wants Daisy so he can claim the inheritance her cousin left. Elrose, Daisy, and Cilla hide in the house while the boys clean up the trash. Elrose does the final blow: skillet to Emad's head. He's later killed by acquaintances. Daisy & Cilla will stay in Eden (41-42).
Keys to the Kingdom AU Master Post
Ok so now that Keys to the Kingdom has reached its first big Plot Twist that I had to keep hush hush about for over a year, I’m excited to finally be able to share everything we’ve been cooking up over on my Discord server (PM me if you want to join the chaos)! This includes a whoooooole bundle of Keys AUs, many of which hinge upon the Grandfather Twist, but some are AUs I’ve talked about/drawn for on here before. A lot of these are things I’ve written oneshots/commissions/ect. for, so I’ll be sharing those previously unreleased pieces too over the next few days. Either way, this post is your one stop shop for all things Keys AU related. Enjoy! (also spoilers ahead for anyone not caught up on Keys, obvs)
Family Ties AU: Instead of staying on the islands, Thalassa decides to leave the islands with Xehanort. Venturing out into the worlds shifts her worldview to one similar to his and eventually, she joins him in his schemes (though eventually, she starts developing plenty of evil schemes of her own, basically Thalassa is a villainess here and she’s one of the best parts of this AU cause she puts her dumbfuck husband to shame). Xehanort and Thalassa still have Tsuki, who they raise to follow in their footsteps and, once he’s older, basically kidnap Himari and force her to marry him. The pair has Sora, who is basically raised within the Organization here and is kind of a villain/anti-hero who goes through Character Development? Either way, this is definitely one of the most developed Keys AUs here, there’s a lot of Lore behind it, and a lot of differences in characters’ roles, like Roxas’, Xion’s, ect. You can learn more about Family Ties by checking out this somewhat semi-incomplete timeline of how it all goes down here.
Trifecta AU: Instead of just Sora, Riku and Kairi are also slowly being corrupted by Xehanort’s darkness at the exact same time (as a way to ensure Sora falls in line mostly, he’s still the one Xehanort wants most but hey, two more vessels, why not?). Caught between fear and lies and pain, each of them hides the truth of their worsening conditions, failing to see just how much the others are suffering as they all slowly slip into the shadows. (Rage Form (Sora), Fear Form (Riku), Grief Form (Kairi)). I’ve actually talked about this one on here before, and I’ve drawn each of the trio’s “dark” forms, you can check those out here.
Heir to Hatred AU: This is basically just Tangled but Keys Edition. Xehanort steals Sora away from his parents as a baby and raises him in isolation. He’s an abusive fuckhead about it though, and Sora longs to see more than the World that Never Was, which is where he’s lived all his life. Just so happens that Riku, who’s kind of a fugitive bc of working with Maleficent in the past, is on the run from the Guardians of Light, and happens to stumble upon the CTNW and finds Sora, helps him outta there, and the entire time they’re being chased by Kairi (a representative of the lights) who they win over, and Xehanort finds out his little shit grandson is gone and is pissed and chaos ensues. It’s a fun time (also the Heartless pet that died in Keys lives here! It basically fills the role of Pascal lol)
Chains of Memory AU: Keys kicks off as usual but when Sora is norted, he loses all of his memories somehow. Xehanort immediately takes advantage of this and takes the kid in, immediately making the grandfather reveal and also lying to this amnesiac child that he’s meant to be with the Organization and that the lights tried to destroy his heart or something. Basically, its just Keys but if Sora was willingly in the Org. the entire time (Xehanort lies and tells him YX is hiis older brother and Ansem and Xemnas are his uncles). It’s a lot of Sora being absolutely sunshiney and oblivious, while the Org. is baffled by this kid they all hate slowly winning them all over, and also the lights fucking panicking because Sora doesn’t remember any of them and thinks he hates them all. Yay, angst!
Wayward Destiny AU: Upon returning to the guardians of light, Yen Sid proceeds to be a Shithead and does what Sora feared would happen to him if he went back, he locks this traumatized kid up, thinking Xehanort has already corrupted him too much and that he’s too far gone. Riku and Kairi, upon finding out, are pissed, and so they save Sora, take him, and run. Meanwhile, Yen Sid lies to the rest of the lights, making them think Sora has also “corrupted” Riku and Kairi and that the need to find all three of them; at the same time, these three dumb kids are trying to survive on their own while not being captured by the Org. and by the lights. An alternative title for this AU could be “Yen Sid is a Fucking Asshole AU”
Survival AU: Tsuki survives Xehanort’s attempts at killing him by summoning his own Keyblade; he takes Sora and Himari and they flee the islands, hopping from world to world to get his son out of his father’s range. Throughout the years, Tsuki becomes very overprotective of Sora to the point of stifling him, and even refuses to teach him how to use his Keyblade after he summons one. Along the way, the family eventually joins up with the other Guardians of Light, though the events of Keys still happen and when they do, family drama abounds. I’ve actually written a oneshot about this one way back when, which you can read here.
Brotherly Shove AU: Sora manages to talk Vanitas down from his attempts at killing him out of revenge, and they both decide to figure out Rage Form/Blight Form together. They bond along the way in the weeks that Sora is on the run from the lights, and eventually Vanitas gets to the point where he starts to care about Sora and strives to protect him from Xehanort and Maleficent alike. Because I just can’t get off my fucking high horse that Vanitas deserves a redemption arc, can I?
A Mother’s Love AU: When Sora briefly returns to the islands while on the run, he goes to see Himari, who’s heartbroken when she hears what’s happening to him. To the point that she actually follows him through the dark corridor he tries to leave through and ends up stranded on the run along with him. This eventually leads into her striking a bargain with Xehanort that leads to her heart falling into his hands, with her ending up norted as a result. Queue a whole bunch of mother/son drama that I wrote about in a short story I’ll be posting soon!
Equivalent Exchange AU: Riku goes to Xehanort and challenges him to a duel; if he wins, then Sora will be set free. If he loses, then Riku will become Xehanort’s newest vessel in Sora’s stead. Riku loses, but Xehanort doesn’t set Sora free, and thus both boys are stuck in the Organization together.
Destiny’s Embrace AU: Kairi goes to Xehanort and offers herself up as his vessel in Sora’s place; in this one, Xehanort tricks her and does NOT let Sora go, and both of them are trapped in the Organization together, trying to keep their love strong while Riku desperately searches for a way to save them both (basically Equivalent Exchange, Kairi Edition)
Guardians of Darkness AU: The guardians of light lose to the Organization in the final showdown and as punishment for their “infidelity”, Xehanort forces every last one of them to join the Organization, each of them essentially serving as personal slaves to the other members.
Dearly Beloved AU: In the aftermath of claiming his thirteenth vessel, Xehanort invites the guardians of light to a “celebration” where he forces Sora to “propose” to Kairi. In the weeks leading up to this mysterious wedding, the lights try to scramble to free Sora and Kairi from this situation, while also trying to figure out why Xehanort is so keen on seeing a “union between pure light and pure darkness” take place. (kind of a dead AU, Family Ties absorbed it)
And those are basically all of the big/named ones! Some of these are def more talked about/developed than others, but if you’re curious about any of these, then please don’t hesitate to ask! I’ll be sharing art and drabbles that I’ve written for the Keys AUs over the next several days, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
