Also a bit of an announcement here (dw I'm not dropping the au)

I will be changing the upload schedule from now on from 1 page every sunday to multiple pages once a month.

This is because I while back I went on a trip and couldn't upload but i still kept working on the au and in doing so I realized the way i was making and uploading the comic (every sunday) was actually killing my creativity and sending me into creative blocks every few months. In the month I was away I managed to get done way more than I did with my usual system and I felt more motivated to keep going.

Really all this means is comic will progress a bit more sporadically but with less breaks due to creative blocks. Sorry to anyone who is following this au and thanks for all your love and support

It's great to see Xiaomei introduce us one last time.

It's crazy how little time seems to have passed. Everyone looks pretty similar to the way they did the last couple chapters. Mashima's pretty good about that.

Some people wish we got more lead-in to Shiki and Rebecca's relationship. I get it, but I've seen people say Xiaomei's their kid and Void was their kid, among other things. This was inevitable.

I'm not a fan of Weisz's new hair. It's long enough to tell that he's older, but it feels wrong to see him without spiky hair. Although, he does look like the older professor now...

It's great to see Homura and Valkyrie are on Oedo with good Kurenai. If only we knew where Creed was...

"One plus two makes one million power!!" What a throwback. It's still three, though.

It's good to see everyone else here.

You know, it's good to see that Pino gets to come back because Mother allows her to be reborn. It should feel like a cop-out, but it doesn't.

I'm not sure about EZ as a whole just yet, but this might be the best ending to any of Mashima's works.

Love how whenever something goes "wrong" with the printer my coworkers' reactions are to push every button possible, like a toddler, and complaining to me, instead of contacting IT like they're supposed to.

Like I am not a printer tech. I am not a tech person at all. You do not pay me enough to encourage me to try to become a tech person. my default state of being when i'm not having a bad day is a little tired & nursing a budding headache. i have a headache right now that i'm ignoring

is this going to be another of those 'there is no such thing as a 'mild' concussion, if you hit your head bad enough to black out it is a concussion' lmao???

i get headaches from fucking everything. weather/air pressure (low and high). low/high blood sugar or too rapid changes there. too bright/dim light (at home i am specific about my lights/curtains at different points of the day/depending on how bright it's outside to avoid these). rapid repetitive/jarring physical motions (just jumping a little can be enough/make it worse). muscle tension. doing stretching/exercise that gets blood really flowing. lack of and/or bad sleep, or too much sleep. getting (strongly) emotional. caffeine (a new exiting one! only started regularly drinking coffee fairly recently. how much caffeine is too much is a fucking mystery though). i should wear glasses (myopia, not too severe) but i avoid it unless i need to see that far that well in part bc the glasses pressing on my temples give me headaches more easily than my eyes being slightly tired does.

i'm probably forgetting a bunch more

but every time i've seen people describe migraines i've thought well mine aren't anywhere near that severe/those specific kinds of headaches so No Way it's that

but. i do have other symptoms on that list? i just never thought it might be related to my headaches bc i'd not seen those mentioned, at least not in a way that i could identify as something i should consider in connection to this, and there's always the huge stress that migraines are always extra super bad to the point that a Real migraine completely disables you for a while. while to me it's. it's annoying, it hurts, if it's particularly bad it can make things more difficult but not impossible/near impossible; just, a general It's Not That Bad, therefore normal and i should just deal with it

our band's called "et un cheval" which means "and one horse" in french. i wish i had a cool backstory for why we chose this name but in reality it's kind of an inside joke that came about while we were all laughing our asses off at 3 in the morning, sleep deprived out of our minds. you know when youre so tireed that everything's funny? that's kind of how it originated, cause our original name was going to be the four horsemen (theres 4 of us), but there are like a hundred bands with that name . i rlly dont remember how we got "and one horse" from "the four horsemen" but one of my cousins studied french and shes like "hey it would sound rlly cool if it was in french" and she was RIGHT. so ...yeah! et un cheval, that's our band name :)) it makes no sense but we've embraced it <3

as for music, we're hoping to be indie rock at best. we're all still fairly new at our instruments cause we're all self-taught (me with guitar + ukulele and the others with guitar, bass, and piano) so we're still trying to find our sound at the moment. none of us actually played instruments until a few years ago, so we're learning how to write songs as a BAND with INSTRUMENTS. which is hard. but fun ! :D

right now to help us figure out how to play instruments together as a band, we're working on covers of songs instead of writing original songs. so like right now, we're working on call me what you like by lovejoy and trying to learn our individual parts on our instruments + how to play them together with each other. and dude. LET ME UFCKING TELL YOU. THIS SHIT IS SO MUCH FUN. IT'S SO MUCH FUN AND I DON'T EVEN CARE THAT WE'RE NOT THAT GOOD YET BECAUSE I'VE LITERALLY DREAMED OF BEING IN A BAND SINCE I WAS A LITTLE KID and now it's finally coming true :)))))
