Killer is standing in the background, looking ready to continue beating Dream up. Nightmare says from out of frame "You should know better than to turn your back on a killer by now." The word killer is in red text again. Panel 10: Nightmare is standing by Killer again, looking smug. He says to Dream, who is not shown "You'll need more than that pathetic bow next time you meet with my killer here." The word killer is in red text again. Killer is looking towards Nightmare, pleased with this. Panel 11: We are now in Nightmare's castle, present day. It is revealed to be Killer telling these events to Dust, who looks bored. Killer says "-and the name stuck, so that's why I'm called Killer now." Dust says very quietly "did I ask" Panel 12: Nightmare is standing in the corner behind them, he looks very surprised and concerned after hearing all this. Text with an arrow pointing to him reads "Didn't realise he had done this." Killer from out of frame says "he doesn't really call me his killer anymore tho" with a frowny face. Dust, also out of frame, says "that's nice now shut up" End ID.

Idk if I talked about this hc in here before but I am a believer in Apollo being an absolute hoarder. Like, this man keeps everything, and it’s been 4000 years so that’s a lot of shit. I like to imagine he has one half of his house on Olympus that is for guests, and one half that no one can enter bc every room is packed to the brim and it is completely impossible to navigate. Examples of rooms on this side include:

The shiny room: Anything Apollo has found that reflects light, from precious crystals to cool prisms to bottles from the side of the road. This room is blinding.

The prophecy room: Technically Apollo’s study, this room is covered wall to wall with bookshelves holding old prophecies. There’s probably a desk in here somewhere, but no one can find it under all the tablets and scrolls.

The music room: Not only does this room have multiples of every instrument you can think of, it also contains an unseemly amount of cassette tapes, vinyls, sheet music, cd’s, and old radios. Whenever Apollo wants to play any instruments, he has to bring them to another room bc the acoustics in this one have been ruined.

The trinket room: This room is for any miscellaneous things Apollo finds and decides that he absolutely needs to keep and cherish forever. Old suits of armor, fancy figurines, ancient games and toys, road signs (don’t ask) You could probably find anything in this room if you really wanted to.

The bedroom: Only Apollo’s most prized possession end up in this room, but that still means this room is filled to brim. Apollo mainly keeps gifts in this room, from people like his mother, siblings, children, lovers, and most devoted worshippers. He also keeps at least 50 soft things on his bed at all times, so it usually looks like a mountain of blankets and fluff.

And of course, many more. Lmk if y’all can think of any other rooms Apollo might have.

This isn't confusing at all. Honestly, it's something I feel like I struggle to convey to people quite often, so the fact that you ask really excites me... er, as long as I'm interpreting the question correctly, of course. Which, it feels like I am.

Yes, the mimes would feel very artificial. They are like what you would expect a 3D stick figure to look like in real life-- with the added (typically) cylinder/tube-like torso, of course. Smooth surfaces with no imperfections, no pores or divets. Round, cartoonishly proportionate living mannequins, with the surface area of their bodies scattering light in such a way that it's hard to get a read on their depth as if they are cell-shaded; They are almost walking cartoons, but with respect to three dimensional laws. Less decided upon, I often consider they'd have a start black outline around their silhouette, like the effect you find in Borderlands games for instance.

So basically yeah they'd look about how they do as they are drawn as they would in real life. The living would look like actual organic people like you and me.
