16) accidental i love you’s during sex

It had been a rushed affair to get where they where, kneeling in the middle of the living room of the apartment Tron had been staying in. Tron hadn’t even had the time to completely unrezz his suit, bits of it still sticking to his shoulders, as Sam rocked his hips forward behind him, his cock sliding between his thighs, pushed up hot and prefect against his central pleasure circuits.

Sam had one arm hooked around his shoulder, pressing him firmly against his chest, his face pressed firmly into Tron’s neck, and he was reveling in it, Sam’s hot breath against his neck, the side of his face. They where pressed so close together that it was like Sam was trying to become one with him. Tron’s hands where wrapped tightly around the arm around him, he knew he was vocalizing, but he wasn’t sure if he was muttering nonsense or fractures of words.

He heard Sam hum, he could tell in the shift of his hips that was close, but his other hand came down and pressed right above where his cock was moving against Tron’s body.

Tron’s whole body shuddered at the added stimulation, almost too much, light leaking at the corner of his eyes, and Sam pressed a kiss to his temple, a shush falling from his lips, and Tron chocked on a wrecked sound, one Sam had called a ‘sob’ before, though when he had told him how it worked, he didn’t understand how one could sob without tears. Sam had kinda chuckled at the time, but said it happened to humans that way sometimes too.

Another sob of a sound wrecked through his body as the energy that was building from Sam’s continued stimulation of his body peaked a second time for the night, and he fully let his weight fall against Sam’s chest, which he took, supporting him fully as he chased his own release.

Tron couldn’t see Sam, so he turned his head and tucked his face against Sam’s neck, a mirror of the position from just moments ago.

“I love you,” he mumbled, and froze. Sam’s arm’s shifted, wrapping around him fully, as he came.

They stayed their on their knees for a moment, Sam still panting, and Tron still heaving.

Sam pulled back just slightly, capturing Tron’s mouth with his own, leaving them both breathless again as he pulled back, “I love you too.”

Tron knew his circuits where turning pink, but he didn’t care, smile sharp as he stood and pulled Sam too his feet to get them both cleaned up.

It cannot be stressed enough that supporting native wildlife is important, wherever you are and however you can. But it can feel a bit daunting to think about doing, especially if you’re operating on a smaller budget. It’s not uncommon to hear about someone’s success story and think how much did it cost to do that?

I’m hoping that I can provide a good bunch of ideas on how to help heal the world around you without hurting your wallet. Feel free to use this as a guide, or a bouncing-off point to do actions in your own style!

Before we get Started

I want to make it clear that this is not a checklist of things you are required to do in order to be ‘helping.’ This isn’t an ‘all or nothing’ kind of deal. Every little bit you do helps. Being aware of these options and spreading awareness helps. Doing even just a handful of these options as you’re able to helps.

With that being said, we need to acknowledge that not everything in this list is feasible for everyone. Some people have a fenced yard in the suburbs. Some people have an unfenced yard with judgy neighbors and/or a restrictive HOA policy. Some people can’t directly control their own landscaping, whether that be because of an external lawn maintenance ruling or something like ‘living with your parents.’ Some people have a 4th story apartment with a small balcony. Some people rent and can’t grow directly into the ground. If the best you can do is put up a bird feeder, or grow a few pollinator-friendly plants in pots? I see you. I feel you. I’ve been there. I appreciate what you’re doing, and you know what? So does the wildlife.

Contrary to popular belief, soap doesn't call. Ever. He texts

Ghost gets a call one day while he's on leave. He's playing underground poker at the time. It's unprofessional to have his ringer on in the middle of a game. He knows it is, but that doesn't really matter because there's only one person with that ring tone.

It's Soap.

If it's soap it's gotta be serious because the man never calls, much preferring to text instead. And if it's serious he likely won't be coming back to the game, so he dips out.

Soap's in trouble. He's been assigned a solo op a while back, it had all gone smoothly and he was back on base a week later. Or well, they thought it'd gone smoothly. Ghost wasn't sure who it was that soap was taking care of on his op (classified as it was), but they were after him. Him and his family.

Apparently neither Price nor gaz were available, it was likely they were on an assignment of their own. And ordinary it wouldn't be such a huge problem, but they targeted his family as well, and he needed a place to keep them safe.

Fake Peppino Speech Headcanons (that nobody asked for):

Hc that Fake Peppino thinks "forwards", Pizzahead just messed up their brain to mouth connection during creation so they speak backwards:

(I find the ciphers some peeps use for Fake's speech very cool, one that comes to mind being atbash [where in a way he's speaking backwards, just alphabetically]. Personally tho I can't really see anyone naturally speaking in ciphers unless it's like Stanford Pines lmao)

Since only their speaking is backwards, they can reverse their speech forwards w/ effort or assistance:

(Their tone still goes forwards! Hence why they can still get across that they're questioning something even though the words itself are backwards)

Not all "assistance" is helpful, however:

I'm not mad I'm just disappointed because if you spent two seconds to think about how fur and leather alone has deep ties to human culture and our understanding and appreciation of the natural world it's honestly really beautiful and just feels so strange to me that people who say they love nature want to divorce themselves from it.

Like yes, capitalism bad. I don't agree with the way that animals are treated as products to the point where blatant animal cruelty is excused by mega corporations. I want places like that to be held accountable and made to follow higher welfare standards for the animals they raise and the underpaid employees out there working in sometimes awful and very unsafe conditions.

But if you're simultaneously ignoring the culture of African leathermaking or the beautiful leather and wool textiles crafted by Indigenous artisans or the ways that ancient humans appreciated the animals they killed for meat and clothing by telling stories and making art depicted on the skins of the animals they took, that's what bothers me.

So many people are willing to just attack vulnerable communities instead of learning about thier culture and how animal products were used traditionally and today. There are better ways to raise animals for products sustainably and humanely and many of these communities have spoken very loudly about it but are yelled over by people who just want to be right or don't want to listen or just don't care.

So yes, I will continue to speak my mind and educate myself because if nothing else I wanna be the start of the change I wanna see in the world. I love animals and I love learning the history of humans and our relationships to animals. I want to be able to appreciate them in the ways we always have. With respect to the natural world and understanding that we're also a part of it.
