Don Jr. Goes Off on Brainless Obama Supporters, Touts Roaring Economy

After eight years of watching and reading liberal media spin that fawned over everything that came out of the Obama administration, it’s nice to hear some reality checks coming from people in the Republican Party. Donald Trump Jr. has certainly been lighting up social media with the support of his father’s policies and setting the record straight on fake news aimed at the Trump administration. With a booming economy being one of President Donald Trump’s glowing accomplishments since he took office, the left is still trying to diminish his success. Well, Donald Jr. has something explosive to say about that. In an interview with Breitbart News on Saturday, Trump Jr. took on former President Barack Obama’s recent claims that the Trump economy is just riding the momentum Obama’s Democrat policies started. “No one with a brain actually believes (Obama) did anything good for our economy or for our foreign policy,” Trump Jr. told Breitbart. “Everyone saw that anything he did basically put America at risk and made us weaker. Every time he drew a red line, other countries walked all over it. He did it again, and they walked all over it. “Guess what? Countries, whether it’s foreign policy-wise or whether it’s business-wise, they realize you have someone now that actually cares about America in there, that’s actually doing it – not someone who’s going to make us look weak where you can walk all over us because that’s the precedent that he set. There’s a new sheriff in town. We’ve changed all that,” he added. Trump Jr. also told Breitbart that he’s thrilled that former Obama has resurfaced on the midterm campaign trail because he considers him: “Without question, he’s our best salesman.” But he saved special fire for Obama’s claims about the economy. “The biggest joke I’ve seen in the last two years is Obama claiming credit – trying to claim this economy because of his policies of over-taxation, oppressive regulation, guess what? That didn’t do anything. That drove this country into the ground. That led to the worst recovery in the history of probable economics but certainly our country’s history,” Trump Jr. said. “For him to run around doing this now – there’s a reason why on November 9, 2016, all of those matrices shot up like a rocket. It’s because businesses, employers, people realized you got someone who’s actually going to fight for you, not fight just for special interests, not fight for people in countries that hate our guts but actually fight for real Americans. Real Americans, their jobs, their companies, their businesses. “That’s what happened, and when consumer confidence started going up the day my father won because they knew he wasn’t going to oppress them, everything started following. I want to keep that going. That’s how we get rid of some of the other problems we’re having. That’s how we get rid of unfunded pension liability. That’s how we get rid of some of our deficits, is by producing, having GDP numbers above 4 percent. “Okay, remember when Obama said you need a magic wand to make that happen? Well, abracadabra, Obama. We’re doing it.” Never let it be said that the liberal media passes on a chance to spin for their side. The Hill published an article titled “Trump, Obama Spar Over The Economy: Who’s Right?” The piece credited Trump with a soaring stock market and lowest unemployment in decades but threw cold water on his success because he’s ruffling foreign feathers. “But Trump’s economic policies have their critics, especially when it comes to trade relations, an area where Trump has entered a high-stakes game of tit-for-tat tariffs with major trading partners like China and the European Union.” And CBS News reported Tuesday: “President Donald Trump pitched a wildly off-base claim about economic growth Monday as the White House used selective statistics to build a case that the economy is doing much better than when Barack Obama was in office.” I believe most people with a stock portfolio would tell you that they never saw such rapid growth under an Obama administration. And maybe the trade war issue is an issue, maybe it’s not. I also believe the president is implementing a philosophy that some short-term pain will lead to long-term gain. Less than a week after Stefan Halper was outed as the FBI informant who infiltrated the Trump campaign, public records reveal that the 73-year-old Oxford University professor and former U.S. government official was paid handsomely by the Obama administration starting in 2012 for various research projects. A longtime CIA and FBI asset who once reportedly ran a spy-operation on the Jimmy Carter administration, Halper was enlisted by the FBI to spy on several Trump campaign aides during the 2016 U.S. election. Meanwhile, a search of public records reveals that between 2012 and 2018, Halper received a total of $1,058,161 from the Department of Defense. Halper's contracts were funded through four annual awards paid directly out of the Pentagon's Office of Net Assessment (ONA). Established as the DoD's "internal think tank" in 1973 by Richard Nixon (whose administration Halper worked for), the ONA was run by foreign policy strategist Andrew Marshall from its inception until his 2015 retirement at the age of 93, after which he was succeeded by current director James H. Baker. The most recent award to Halper for $411,575 was made in two payments, and had a start date of September 26, 2016 - three days after a September 23 Yahoo! News article by Michael Isikoff. The FBI would use the Yahoo! article along with the unverified "pissgate" dossier as supporting evidence in an FISA warrant application for Page. Style Sunday

As the second week of the new administration comes to a close, I would like to take this time to reminisce about Style’s past presidency i.e. Michelle Obama. I know, I know, this post is meant for “a genre or era from art history” but this week, it is to mourn the loss of fashion in the White House. While Melania Trump has okay taste, she will not be the first lady. And Ivanka is a little too newscaster-dresses-up-for-charity-event for me.

SO.

Here she is looking like the president herself. Legs for days, that cut blazer (oooh girl), and DOGS. One in each hand. Impressive, Michelle.

As many saw her, here Michelle is at some public event, probably promoting healthy children, better schools, or something else incredible that has vanished from the agenda over the last two weeks (*cough*). A hair flip that Farrah Fawcett would envy, flawless makeup that probably isn’t necessary because, black don’t crack, and a gorgeous emerald green, embroidered dress that reminds me of Rococo ornamentation.

This is one of my favorites. A form-fitting, canary yellow dress with a mod cut and high V. Not only is this color gorgeous on her complexion, but I know women half her age that would be terrified to wear this. But Michelle has balls (thought the point is that she doesn’t) and she could not look more radiant.

As formal and as beautiful as she gets in this red gown. She looks like a damn movie star, amirite?! That white smile, those ripped arms, that ruched bodice. Another bold and wonderful choice. Barack doesn’t look half bad either.

So Michelle, while we had to bid you farewell as our first lady, you will always be in our hearts and hopefully the public eye to continue your decade of fashion that has inspired a nation. You are incredible for countless reasons from your philanthropy, your parenting, your example of a successful partnership, your work with children, your influence on the administration, and much more. But for this purpose, you are incredible for your tailored and calculated outfits that have brightened and sophisticated a rather invisible role. We thank you.
