Danny squints at his tiny hands, eyes narrowing as Clockwork hums in the kitchen. Which he wasn’t even aware of having been in LongNow. Maybe it wasn’t. He huffed, voice too squeaky for him to continue complaining. Stupid time accidents. 

Which wasn’t even starting on the other figure awkwardly sitting at the table. 

He glowered at the Ghost King, who kept glancing at him with an unreadable look in their eyes, then looked back towards where Clockwork was. His scowl deepened over his cup of tea- which wasn’t fair, he wanted coffee but nooo, that’s not healthy for ‘little ghostlings’. Ugh.

Sometimes he wished he was fully ghost so he didn’t have to apparently worry about his living body having to grow back up.

i think a lot about how early-series, demigods are referred to pretty equally as "demigods," "half-bloods," and "godlings," - the last used particularly by gods at demigods - but after that "godlings" is almost exclusively used to refer to minor gods.

I like to think the one time he asked ink what each color did ink dodged the question by laughing at him like he asked something silly. Ink has no reason not to tell him outright really (besides that it's fun watching him figure them out one at a time) but that it's funny to not tell him. Almost like he's playing dumb or hard to get except chaotically just to poke fun at him. Like "Oh you wanna know? You wanna know so bad it makes you look stupid? Hehe ohohohoho hehe. Wouldn't you like to know?" He says, akin to someone dangling feathers over their cat that wants to eat them so bad.

JJSJSJSJS NOOOO INKKKKK I can def see it though. I imagine most of the difficulty in guessing the colors' effects is because Ink either uses them as balancers (aka, he drinks all the colors in small sips to keep himself not leaning much towards one emotion), as triggers (if he really has to act mad to attack, he forces the emotion out of him by drinking bonus red he doesn't need; which is why Nightmare knows what red does) or as complementaries (aka, if he's in a very happy situation the yellow gets used more easily, so he drinks more yellow. Which is why Nightmare knows what pink and yellow does)

Even then, I think the knowledge of what each color does is lowkey. Obsolete? Useless?? Like Nm, at this point, wouldn't try to force Ink to feel one emotion (which is so funny to think about if you think about his negativity aura/the fact it can't affect Ink) but its still. Fun to guess. Cuz they're close enough Nightmare has the possibility to guess and be mostly right and. Idk. Evil stuff

I get kind of annoyed when people say how much they miss YJ Cassie  and want DC to make her the way she was then, only to turn around and say how much they hate modern Cassie or how out of character they think she is. It doesn’t make sense. Since 2019, Cassie has been written more like she was in YJ than she has in a long time. This is a Cassie who isn’t weighed down by all the grief and trauma she went through in comics Graduation Day forward. She’s proactive and impulsive. She’s goofy and stubborn, acts like Diana and Donna’s little sister, and fangirls over superheroes. If something’s wrong then she’s going to interfere no matter who says she shouldn’t. She’s the closest DC is ever gonna get to bringing YJ Cassie back. If you don’t like her then maybe you should reassess whether you actually like the character, or if you only like the personality fandom assigned her based on a haircut she had twenty five years ago.

I'm noticing an uptick in comments complaining that most of the current WIR fandom content is Turbo instead of the other characters and, like... you guys know you can search other characters by their specific tags, right??? Or exclude Turbo from search results by temporarily blacklisting him in your filtered tags?

Idk, it's just weird to me to be discouraging towards people making fandom content just because it's not the specific content you want to see, like, it's ok to want to see other content, but complaining about how other people aren't catering to your tastes enough instead of just making the content you want to see yourself is kinda bad vibes, y'know?? (And that's not to say that I think those comments are intended out of malice of course, I really don't think they are, I just wanted to point out that it can come off as a little entitled, as well as discouraging towards people who just want to draw Turbo, which is something that should be fine if that's what they want to do. Fandom should be fun for everybody, and there's lots of tools available to curate your experience with it!)
