My own headcannon of what my ocs would sound like :P

Hope (Resident Evil Village OC)

I mentioned Hope's before but she kind of has a Norah Jones type of vibe and her singing voice is similar to hers as well but kind of wanted to change it up a bit because it still didnt sit quite right with me-so i think LAufey's singing and talking voice kind of fits more of what I kind of hear Hope's voice -and the jazz I think is more Hope's speed (And also this is just her song lol)

Maggie (Hellsing OC)-Selena! Maggie has a kind of raspy type of voice which you can hear a bit in Selena's voice

Miruna (One Piece OC) Miruna's voice is low usually when she speaks but when she signs its very much like a siren she has an eerie, soft luring voice

Linnea (One Piece OC) Linnea has a very gentle and sweet soothing voice (which always calms Buggy down ( ;3)

Delphina ( One Piece OC) Delphina has a smooth warm voice honeslty just kind of thing of Swayer from Cats dont dance- a Natalie Cole singing voice and Jasmine Guy's talking voice. However I also see her with a bit of a Carly Simon voice too :/ so im still kind of on the fence

Beatrice (One Piece OC)-Beatrice has a growl in her voice and also has that raspy angry type of tone (Even when she isn't angry lol-)

I'm back (Not with a vengeance) but with Oblivion 🖤🧡 Her name is Olivia (Liv) Eon and I decided the monster that best captures the ride is a Banshee. Something about screaming into the incoming terror spoke to me. She doesn't speak much but expresses herself through her fashion and love for dance.

So! What says on the tin! Most is taken out my chats with firenation, Meepin and bunnybird --All of it is- What started this? Well -- Firenation got a banger 'quote': "I was listening to a song's English translation and... I'm crying. For some reason, it makes me think of Pirin and Valen dancing to it! Like! Sidenote tangent/explanation about choice: --------------------------------------------

..Or I could give this song and voice to Ludovic. Just imagine this quiet, very soft melancholic voice suddenly turn out to have so much power and life and emotion in it.

This could be Ludovic both singing about his own struggles... and those of his friend. It's like he briefly donning on 'Pirin's mask' to show his role, switching P.O.V's from his own to Pirin's.

"Within every story told with pride, the legendary mage lives on inside." -A line expressing his view of the adventures. Positive. His p.o.v. Then goes with this verse but instead says 'trapped' -singing from Pirin's perspective. Since the adventures of 'Merlin' are two sides of the same coin/double-edged sword.

For Pirin, the journey is a constant, endless play because he's saddled with being Merlin but can't be himself. No, no. He must be Merlin. Not stray too out of line for Merlin's 'mischief streaks' and keep in-character to the identities Merlin has already assumed in the past as a prank on those around him, avoid ''adding a new one'' to the list. Because then that one ''odd identity'' will break the pattern due to not aligning with it, with what people are familiar with-- And it would raise eyebrows, questions, suspicions, blow the secret. That the real Magister Merlin had summoned this wandering spirit, this Night nymph -Lightbearer Empire /Night Jinni- Maulers/Blazing star- Wilders/Unbound Will-o-the wisp - Graveborns ---To carry his duty in his stead. Which would put Merlin in hot waters with the people, he'll have nowhere to run, face them and answer the questions they will rightfully demand. While that ''decoy'' will be dragged through worse hell for what he is, and for daring to ''impersonate the legendary chief mage''.

A struggle the bat had to shoulder, on top of this ''mask'' going against his very principle and of his bloodline-- To uncover, reflect and not obscure the truth. No matter what that truth is, how much it hurts/elates or is hideous/beautiful, clashes with interests and beliefs or not. Like how a mirror doesn't care of how the reflection it gives will come across/can/will do. It will not skew and twist itself into something else or the reflection just to appeal. (And yet, there are still cracks in it that bleed through no matter how masterfully Pirin plays his role. Most simply don't notice or care to look closer. As far as the majority of people are concerned? Merlin is here, heroic as always and Esperia is safe from harm, them by direct proxy are safe too.)

A small example of how Ludovic ''plays'' with the roles he portrays in that song. And acknowledges this struggle his friend has, always will until the journey's end comes and the contract is fulfilled.

I guess this one could be when he's older and keeping his voice gentle, like singing a lullaby to Amene -visiting her grave, she loved this song the second she heard it first time in Alkali.-) Otherwise 'Here I am' is his default singing.

Sinbad (english singing voice) : Jolly Sailor Bold, when the man joins singing with the woman. See 'Shanty duet' fic. It has the song itself. So ''William singing'' is Sinbad.

It fits so well with Amene! (She's kinda got her mam's singing. Would've gotten more mellow as she ages and her voice better develops. Not a huge change like how a boy's voice mutates drastically, but still.)

Athelric's singing: https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=TJavG4RiE5M Stolas's voice somehow fits Athe so much. It could very easily be that Athe--Athelric. Some of you might recognize him but he's spoilers for later Unexpected Union chapters-- took a large bit of Valen's singing voice but Pirin's shines a smidge too in there. So he pitches it higher/softer (sound like Stolas) to better distinguish himself from his dad and mom.

But you know what voice ALSO fits this rebellious, feisty man? Ed Sheeran's voice!

No matter how many times he gets into trouble or how hot the waters are. "I chose this fate on my own myself, the eternal Black sheep."/"No, I can't be like you!"/"No one dared to hear my voice" (Black sheep = Stubborn person, rebel, outcast/outsider.)

You can hear kid!Athelric sing in either harpy hare (the lamb's lines) and also neath the grove. Also kid!Mari can be heard in Yaelklore's song as well - The 'Harpy hare' shaking her head.

Cecia joins after him talking about the roles. Lorsan next. It's this group that does the chorus after verse 2. And really it's just this group that sings the song.

I never posted my Oc's voice claims because I used to find voice claims cringe. Anyway here they are for those curious enjoy;

(Most of them are pmvs/memes that's what I watch.)

Hunter bottom one; is NB but has a surprisingly feminine voice. Which is why they picked such a masculine name. Juxtaposition, feminine voice, masculine name and no fucks for the society that genders literally everything. (Part of the reason they love Vesuvia)

Bluebell top one: also Nb but has a more masculine voice which they don't mind and actually enjoy the softness of.

Kyle; warm gentle voice, is the best singer out of my oc's even if most of the music is singing the characters don't actually sing that well. The only thing missing is Kyle has a kiwi accent ontop.

Silver; Kyle's biological younger brother. Has colder voice than the video and has a thicker kiwi accent to Kyle. Due to Kyle losing some of his from years in Vesuvia and picking up on how they talk.

Tui: part of Kyle's adoptive family and his older sister. Has a deceptively sweet voice she uses to try and appear more innocent. Only works on those who don't know what she's done.

What Tui actually sounds like when she drops the act; a lot colder and slightly deeper and sharper. Both are missing her kiwi accent not as thick as Silver but more than Kyle.

Lyre: fast talking charismatic wondering performer. Had the second best singing voice but doesn't actually sing for their performance. Rather relying on their magic and orchestrating their familiar to make unique sound and experience. Singing would be too straight forward for them a mockery of their true talent.

Albatross: was the hardest so far. I wanted him to have quiet a cold icey voice but in the end went with this which is a lot warmer than I had planned for him.

Unnamed: Kyle's adoptive father and pretty much his father figure

Light: Kyle's biological mother. Don't let the gentleness fool you it's the only gentle part of her. Attitude wise think Morga, Nadia and Mazelinka merged. Sharp, unapologetically intimidating and willing to use it to glare daggers at anyone who crosses her path. However, ultimately cares deeply for her peoples needs, physical and emotional and is one of the few leaders who wont take Tui's shit. While also being smart enough not to outright challenge her.
