"That's because Peter can whack any deity back down to comatose. If Wyatt pushed him, he'd might let Erebos wreck havok for a bit. Wyatt probably fears Peter for the power he has--he could destroy everyone but he abstains. The most he could do is contain Peter for a while. And Kia--Nyx is smart, if she came to the surface she would destroy your sister, and she doesn't want it."

A thought occurred to her."Then maybe Nick can convince Ben and Kia to help us get them free." Melinda suggested. "Though convincing all three of them might take some doing. And before you say no, think about your brother and sister. Would you rather see them trapped like they are or give them a chance to be free?" Melinda was a fighter and right now she was cornered cat, a cornered Halliwell was the single most dangerous thing in the universe.

Peter and Connie may not have shared a womb in this universe but they were still her brother and sister and without their calming influence, Melinda could be quite chaotic. She may or may not be considering explosives at this moment. She had that look that anyone that knew her would recognize: I need napalm.

Kieran nodded at the information but when asked about Connie and Peter he had to resist the urge to look away. “Connie and Peter are... Their alive but they're in a similar place Linda was, He wasn't want to risk Ben or Kiana fighting against him...mostly Kia.�� The fact that they had yet to get the two of them free? It was something that was a sore spot for all of them, especially Kiana and Ben.

“I didn't know about Nick and Sophie,” The main reason likely being that he'd never seen the two of them interact, if he had Cupid probably would have spoke up immediately. “but I do know that Wyatt has Zeus rattling around in his head, and Kiana has a dormant Nyx shoved deep down into her subconscious. hi friends!! my name is paige and this is my baby witch lucy. i LOVE halloweentown, i watch the movies every october and am so excited to get to play my baby witch here with yall! so heres what you need to know about her:

lucinda was born and raised in halloweentown to a single mother, Beatrix, and a member of the nyx coven

she comes from a long line of nyx women, and her family is believed to be able to follow their line back to some of the earliest witches

lucy never knew her father, and her mother never talked about him. it was always just the two of them

for most of her childhood, lucy was fascinated with being a witch and loved using her magic whenever she could

her mother, however, tried to instill the nyx coven ways of not using magic frivolously. lucy learned to hide her constant use of magic, especially when they would venture out of halloweentown.

when she was 15, lucy found her mother’s journal from the year she was born and discovered that her father was a powerful circe coven warlock, and suddenly her entire life made more sense

she finally understood why she did not always fit in with the other witches in her coven, why she loved using magic, and felt more connected to her father

after searching for him, lucy discovered that her father left halloweentown the year she was born.

like other young witches her age, lucy went to halloweentown university and studied divination, while secretly taking classes in mortal world history. 

her life was completely planned out for her—she would go on to take over her mother’s store, the Broom Booth, and eventually go on to teach herself at halloweentown university.

when the glamour around halloweentown was dropped, beatrix was one of the first people to say it was a bad idea

lucy, however, had other ideas

one night, shortly after the glamour was dropped, lucy packed up her stuff and left home with just a backpack of clothes and her father’s name written down on a piece of paper

for the last year, lucy worked odd jobs, eventually finding her way to california where she found her father

when she finally met her father, it was brief, because her mother found her and brought her back to halloweentown

this was the day after the threat from the knights of the iron dagger.

since then, lucy has been back working at the broom room under her mother’s watchful eye

she did, however, leave her information with her father before she was brought back to halloweentown and she hopes every day he will show up, or call her, or somehow come in contact with her

when things get serious, however, she is the first person to jump in front of you in order to save your life, the type to drain all of her magic to save the people she loves

she just wants to be able to make her own decisions because a lot of her life has been her mother making all her decisions for her

Once upon a time there were mortals who were given the powers to fight the Titans and they won, these mortals would name themselves Gods (see Greek Gods).    Eventually they would be knocked from their seats of power and lose the immortality and eventually die or force themselves to be reborn into the Cycle of Reincarnation. Eventually they would be reborn in the modern day and some would feel echoes of the past and some, some would remember.

adéline was born in québec, canada, to a mother from montréal and a father from marais. when she was three years old, her parents decided to move back to marais to raise their kids, and adeline remembers very little of her life in québec, though she does travel up to montréal once in a while to see extended family and explore the city.

she’s fully bilingual, fluent in both french and english. she’s currently trying to learn spanish, too, and takes classes at the library twice a week to do so. she tried duolingo at first, but the cute little owl kind of got on her nerves after a while.

she went to university in boston, where she studied biology, but immediately went back to louisiana after she graduated. there was something about marais that always drew her back there, and she simply couldn’t shake it. nowadays, she works as a pharmaceutical sales representative, and makes a good amount of money with it. she has her own little bungalow where she lives with her white cat, nyx.

she has two older brothers and one younger sister, and i’m actually going to ask for them as wanted connections if i’m accepted, so i won’t go too much into their dynamics, as i’d like to keep it open. generally, though, adéline’s easy to get along with, and i could see her having been the mediator™ in her family.

as a pharma sales rep, she has to pretty much create her own schedules, arrange her own things, etc. and honestly, it’s the part of her job she’s the worst at. she’s incredible when it comes to meeting with doctors and nurses and teaching them about the new kinds of meds her company’s come up with, and her sales numbers do show how good she is at that, but she’s a complete disaster when it comes to her organization. until not too long ago, she was lucky because her team manager really liked her and let some things fly, but she’s going to get a new team manager soon (wanted connection if i’m accepted), and she doesn’t know if it’s going to be as easy with them. which makes her quite nervous.

in marais, i picture her being quite well-liked. she always makes sure to check in on people when she sees them, and never forgets a name or a face. she’s very giving, and always makes other people feel like they matter and are listened to, which i think might make her someone people like being friends with or just enjoy talking to.

she’s terrified of reptiles, especially alligators, which is, um… quite unfortunate for her.

she’s also very VERY obstinate. like, if she believes something, it takes a hell of a lot of willpower to change her mind. she tends to see things in black and white, too, and for her, it’s hard to forgive and forget. she holds grudges for a long time, but never over silly little things. to her, grudges need to be well-deserved. aka, someone who’s hurt her, someone she loves, or simply someone who didn’t deserve it? that grudge will last for a long, long time, if not forever.

     your father always told you how SPECIAL you were. he told you the legends and myths of those that came before you. a supernatural connection he called it, one that made you stand out from the others. you couldn’t tell them though. your own stepmother thought you were INSANE when you told her you felt the bird’s death, that someone was hunting around your house when they shouldn’t. your father was the one that stopped her from getting you a therapist, the one who kept you sane all of those years. you weren’t normal, but who was? you wanted to have HOPE for people, that they weren’t all like her. young and naive some would call it, those like your father couldn’t protect you forever. you didn’t listen, you couldn’t listen, you should’ve listened. 

     growing up your favorite shows all had some element of a secret life. charmed and buffy the vampire slayer. not only did they each have something mystical to them, but you could relate to them on some level. prue halliwell was STRONG and INDEPENDENT. she took shit from no one and how badly you wanted to be her. you wanted to have her confidence even if she didn’t really accept the truth about her powers right away. willow was HUNGRY for more knowledge once she found out she was a witch. she had a girlfriend and didn’t run away from any of it. maybe lgbt+ characters could have a happy ending. everyone was better off for what these two did, what all the other characters did.

     as special as they were, as close to them as you felt, they still hid a part of their lives from the people that they cared about the most. prue didn’t till andy she was a witch until the end and then he DIED. buffy felt like she dragged her friends into the supernatural world and was HESITANT. yet they all had their happy endings eventually. you might have been young, but who was to say that you couldn’t have your own happy ending already? you might not have lived yet, you weren’t even old enough to get into an r-rated movie alone, but you had PASSION and HOPE. isabella was your best friend since kindergarten, nine years and counting, she would have understood.

     both of you laid down within the same tree. you were higher than her back that was because this was your home, you were taller and more adventurous than her. there was a small pause as the sun was setting down, the moon already in the sky, and you wondered about your next steps.  ❛   hey isa?   ❜  your legs dangled on each side of the thick branch, you pushed yourself up so you were no longer laying down and looked down at her. your bottom lip had teeth marks on it, clearly you were chewing on it for a couple of minutes while you contemplated your next steps.  ❛   do you ever feel like your special? like more than whatever the heck everyone else is.   ❜  you had no choice but to feel that way. it was how your father described you, how he explained your need to be outside late at night, your dyslexia, and your adhd. being special was the only thing you had constant in your life. 

     ❛   my dad says that there are these legends of people being descendants of gods or spirits. how mytstical connections can actually be real and you have a higher purpose.   ❜  mr. falco was always vague, but you had done a lot of research. you read a lot of books and narrowed it down to nyx or artemis in greek mythology. one of them had to be your mother, there was no other way. she wouldn’t leave you unless she had a good reason. your father wouldn’t emphasize secrets and how special you were unless it was one of them. god this was driving you mad and you just had to talk to someone about it.  ❛   i know i’m not entirely normal… that’s what i’m trying to say i guess. i think my mom is a goddess! how cool would that be?   ❜  lips curved out into a wide smile as you looked down at your best friend of nine years.

     hope quickly vanished from your face as you saw her reaction. she was laughing so hard that the sound traveled through the woods.  ❛   a goddess!?   ❜  she couldn’t look at you straight in the face. as she was speaking, she fell down from the tree because she was laughing so hard.  ❛   dude, your mom left you, you don’t have to make up a weird story about who she was. maybe you were just a product of a one night stand.   ❜  your blood boiled as you peered down at her. she was just like your stepmother, a nonbeliever who thought that you were crazy. tears started to well in your eyes but you were high enough that she couldn’t see them. tiny hands curled into fists as you wiped away the tears with the sleeve of your hoodie.  ❛   get out.   ❜  you couldn’t handle this. you’ve watched enough shows by now to know how this was going to end. they were going to ridicule you in front of everyone, but thankfully it was already over. you had all graduated and the one friend you thought you were going to keep had no exited out of your life. 

     you climb down from the tree, demeanor colder than it was before. you would keep your secret like your father said, never echo another word of this, but what she said about your mother was unforgivable.  ❛   call your mom and tell her you’re not staying over anymore. i don’t care if you have to wait in the curb of the street, get out of my house.   ��  your face was expressionless, but your heart was breaking into a million pieces. in a matter of minutes you became more calculating and observant than you ever were before. this is how you were going to have to be in order to survive, in order to not get your heart broken. you wouldn’t be cold right off of the bat, you’d still be nice and warm, but if they ever disrespected your name like that you would never stand for it. better to lose a best friend than gain a life full of heartbreak.

     her expression changed right away, it was as blank as can be after she finally stopped laughing about your claim.  ❛   fine, i didn’t know you were this weird anyway.   ❜  she shrugged slightly, blonde hair almost slapping you in the face as she turned on her heel and walked back inside to get her things. oh how you wish you could hit her, be the lion that tore her to shreds with your bare teeth. you didn’t know where this anger came from, but you didn’t like to be treated like a FREAK. 

     you went back into the woods, spending at least another hour there. your father came looking for you when isabella left and asked what had happened. he found your crying against the bark of a tree, a rabbit in your lap trying to comfort you. all you did when he came was just look up, tears dripping from your chin, and hold the animal even closer to you.  ❛   you were right dad, people suck. from now on this secret is staying between the both of us and no one else. they won’t understand.   ❜  except for the animals. aside from never having more than a dog as a pet they seemed to understand you, another part of the connection that people wouldn’t get.

1. Will Graham (Nbc Hannibal/Red Dragon) I could write an essay on why I love him so much and I can relate to him.

2. Soubi Agatsuma (Loveless manga) His character is complex despite his role as a Fighter. I also can deeply empathize with him in ways.

3. Mashiro Ichijo (After School Nightmare) I love them. They struggled with their gender and sense of self.

4. Joseph Joestar (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) He's an intelligent, cocky, fool who bullshits through life. Like how can you not love him?

5. Piper Halliwel (Charmed) She's just amazing. Like god I love her so much. Best big sister.

6. Mami Tomoe (Madoka Magica) She tries so hard to be strong and their for everyone even though deep down she's really lonely. My 2D child.

7. Anton Gordetskey (Night Watch series) I like that he's a really grounded character and tries his best.

8. Shadow Moon (American Gods) He just wants to know what fuck is going on.

9. Lapis (Steven Universe) She's flawed and she's aware of that. She also deals with a lot of self hate and ptsd. I love her character development.

10. Zoey Redbird (House of Night series) She accepts what life and Nyx puts before her with grace, most of the time, and always has her squad's back.

Nicholas just stared at the Halliwell across from him for a moment, he had sent a message to him stating he needed to talk to him about the conversation that had happened the other day; but he had half expected him not to show.

“When we said questions were better left unanswered until Eros and Psyche are awakened there was a reason for it, I would rather my sister’s mind not be snapped under the pressure of a primordial Goddess’ power. Unintentional or not.”

“How can you be sure she’s Nyx,” he pointed out, though his tone was almost hopeful.    He couldn’t be certain.   “Here’s the problem with Kia, she won’t just let something go without finding out the truth.   Hiding everything is all well and good but what if she seeks out the answers and feels like you betrayed her, and it forces out something she may or may not be.    Being honest with her is the best policy, in a safe place.” He explained.

“Not saying tell her everything but explain the situation.   She understands that, and her twin and the one she considers her baby sister are not being tortured to death by other demons.”    There was a time and place for safety but from what he had seen Kia was alright, she was whole.
