I just had this random idea in my head, but like do you think that Nyo America was used as propaganda the 1950s and the Cold War era to promote “American femininity” (I read this one article that mentioned that the a big reason why women were used in ads to promote products was because they were trying to encourage American housewives to be big time consumers to ‘show American superiority’ against the USSR which ties back to American consumer culture of the 50s and the rampant sexism of the time)

I know it wasn't really popular until the 1870s, nor am I totally sure Arthur would go this far, but the idea of Arthur putting Molly on a "rest cure" to treat her "hysteria" around the 1840s before the Famine really kicked in is something that has been sticking in my brain. The idea of this woman going Yellow Wallpaper is something that just intrigues me. To be clear, either way, Arthur 100% referred to her as his "hysterical sister" and used that as an excuse to both keep her from going to Europe and making allies again.

1p France isn’t too shocked, people have probably called him daddy before so it’s pretty average to him. He’s started to like it a lot more now that it’s his boyfriend saying it though.

Again no more pigtails, though I believe she probs definitely had long hair before the 2 wars but after I feel like she cuts it. and gradually though out the years, she cuts it even shorter. I’m definitely going to draw her more.

When it comes to nyo france, i feel like she had short hair before but is growing it out as time goes by. Like I can see her having a short choppy bob before the Industrial Revolution. I’ll draw that later. But she definitely had big poofy hair during the 70s-80s.
