Favorite and least favorite Blazblue characters?

Yay~ finally getting to this ask. I’ve got a lot of really cool asks (thank you everyone so much) that I’ve been wanting to get to, but my health is Rather Poor, and when I do answer these things, I want to be able to put a lot of energy and attention into them.

Now, getting to the ask! I had a lot to say, and it all came out messy... and somehow, I only ended up talking about one character, Nu 13. Who fits as both one of my favorite and one of my least favorite characters, for reasons detailed below. To not make this an entire fucking novel, I'll cut the post off here and consider it an early birthday post for her.

That said, here's a quick run down of some other stuff I didn't get to talk about, relevant to your question.

My other Hated Fave is Nine/Konoe. One of those “I love the character but if we were stuck in a room together I’d maul her” situations. I consider her to be a misandrist, and I have a very charged history of like, generational reactive sexism in my family, so her generational reactive sexism (relationship with her father coloring her relationship with men overall) enrages me. On the other hand, it’s so well written, SHE’S so well written, she’s an incredible character and I adore her as an art piece. She is like a cathedral to me. The most beautiful symphony in a key you hate.

Touched on briefly in the post below, my all time absolute favorite is Terumi/Susano'o. That's a story for another day. I like him in a very particular way where he's like, the best character ever, but also he's constantly on probation. Or reverse probation? I need to see him try to kill/maim/ruin someone once a month or he's at risk of being evicted. Being the champion is a title you have to defend, y'know?

I think the character I study the most and talk about the most is Noel, although to my tastes, she's very middle of the road. I feel neutral about her. I just use her as a guinea pig for all my BB related project. You know Dangan Ronpa? How they used Sayaka and Leon as a starting point/beta test for everything? It's kind of like that, except I haven't gotten so sick of her yet that I'm killing her off or anything.

With all of that covered, allow me to get into the actual post! Thank you for your patience!

Off the top of my head at least, I can’t honestly think of BlazBlue characters I dislike. Every character that comes to mind shares something that makes me hesitant to actually claim I dislike them. That is, the characters I like the least are the characters I understand the least. Spinner Superior and the entire Bloodedge Experience cast make the list… but I haven’t read BE. Valkenhayn makes the cut- another character I really don’t pay attention to. Bullet, Hibiki, maybe Amane- all characters I really just… haven’t paid much attention to yet.

I don’t really want to claim I dislike them at this point, because when I really think about it, I’m like 99% sure that I lack interest in them BECAUSE I haven’t taken the time to look at them.

One of my hobby/goal/things in my free time is working on these BB character documents, analyzing everything I can about each character in the series for my own personal work. I have a feeling that when I get to really analyzing and writing about these characters, I’ll find things I like about them.

Here's a quick look at my files, to see what I'm talking about. Have mercy, it's very WIP.

There are two characters that stand out to me in an… almost “love to hate” way, but not quite. I have a lot to say about these characters, but I’m still tired, and this post is going to be LONG as is, so I’ll try to keep it brief.

Author's Note: I fail to keep it brief.

Before BBDW, my least favorite character was DEFINITELY Nu13. Ironic, because she almost got me into BB back in the Continuum Shift days. I saw her and some of her crazy behavior and thought... well, not much, just kind of an error message in my head going “hot woman spotted.” So I looked into her, and her story!

And got bored immediately. At first I was intrigued- I love violent characters that could arguably be described as “rabid” or “feral,” but upon further inspection, she had one of the few character flaws I just can’t look past. She was absolutely static. Immutable. The only character she was willing to interact with was Ragna, and even when interacting with him, she couldn’t hear a thing he said. In my interpretation, at the time, this made her a character that couldn’t connect with the outside world in any way. To me, she was an island. Absolutely remote. And completely useless to my interests.

A fear years later, a few months before the launch of Chronophantasma Extend, I ended up getting into BlazBlue anyway powered by sheer Terumi thirst. Are you guys starting to get a picture of my type yet? From then on, BB has remained my all time favorite series, and Terumi/Susano’o continues to be in my top three favorite characters, usually comfortably wearing the “#1 all time fave” crown. I suppose that answers the other half of your question.

Throughout this time, Nu still didn’t appeal to me at all. Locked in as my least favorite, definitely. Eventually, I got my college roommates into BB. One of the girls fell in absolute love with Nu. I couldn’t understand it at all. In hindsight, she’s right on every point about Nu that she likes, and I really appreciate those traits now too- but I couldn’t see it at the time. She was able to see Nu as an incredibly tragic character for the same reasons I saw her as inert. In the C-Series, Nu is alone, horribly alone, locked in her pain and her delusion. I saw that and ultimately felt she was beyond saving, but my associate felt that made her into a beautiful tragedy, a princess more worth saving than any other. Maybe I’m getting a little abstract out of nowhere here, but I now feel that’s the best way to look at Nu’s story- she’s locked away in this fairy tale delusion. Ugh, I have more to say on it, but look at how long this has gotten already!

Anyways, then BBDW came out, and Mori gave us a glimpse of what he intended to be the next step in Nu’s story. Juusan, XIII, Thirteen. And hooooooooooooly shit my guys, I absolutely love Nu, XIII, and her arc now. It’s her fucking healing arc! It’s her fucking growing arc! She’s finally able to start becoming a person, fleshing out, interacting with the world!

I’m not the type who really needs or even WANTS redemption arcs for characters, but Nu DESPERATELY needed this chapter. My biggest gripe with her, as mentioned, was that it seemed impossible for her to have any kind of relationship with ANYONE. I guess I was a little close minded- I needed to see evidence that Nu could be reached, that she could wake up from her fairy tale slumber and start really living. And we have that now, in XIII.

Looking back on the writing from the earlier games, when I hated Nu so much, I see those scenes in an entirely different light. Her first fucking scene in every route is waking up, our sleeping beauty. But she wakes up to the same dream every time. She’s put right back into her coffin, death, to dream and dream and wake and be killed again. Isn’t that kind of beautiful??? Her CT story mode IS a dream, it’s a desperate dream, the one she holds most dearly but doesn’t even understand- Nu is a character who THINKS what she wants more than anything is a romantic love with her prince charming, but we see in her story mode there, and in the relationships that finally save her, that what she really wanted was a full relationship as a real person. Platonic relationships, with no expectations, just someone seeing her and maybe offering her a smile. She craved, needed, the ability to connect with others, but that was a dream so far out of reach she couldn’t understand it. I KNOW I’M RAVING AT THIS POINT, I DIDN’T MEAN TO, BUT C’MON IT’S BEAUTIFUL.

And, and!!! As I mentioned, the relationships that finally save her, finally wake her up from the dream the same way the BB world is being woken up from ITS looping dream (WHICH IS ANOTHER AWESOME CONNECTION AND GREAT WRITING, THE WAY NU AS A CHARACTER CAN BE SEEN TO EMBODY THE LOOPING WORLD, NEW AND BROKEN AND UNABLE TO CHANGE WITH NO HOPE OF TOMORROW)

Ahem, ahem-- It’s familial connections. She so badly wants that romance with Ragna, but it isn’t the love of a prince that saves her- it’s when he accepts her as his sister. It’s when he accepts her as a victim and her own person and not a bastardization of Saya, and comes to save this lonely girl. An echo of his little sister he couldn’t save. HIS ENTIRE JOURNEY WAS TO SAVE HIS SISTER AND HE FINALLY DOES. IN SO MANY WAYS, INCLUDING IN THAT MOMENT OF REACHING OUT TO NU.

And then it’s Noel. And Lamba. Her sisters. Again, people who once saw her as a disgusting representation of what they feared the most, a replacement or a copy- when they let that go, see past it, and really face her, they take Nu in as their little sister. And its their patient love that heals her. Just like Ragna, when they first met Nu, her connection to Saya and themselves terrified them, infuriated them, but now they look directly at that connection and don’t see it as a threat. It fills them with compassion. It can be a lovely thing, to share something so fundamental as your creation with someone else. There’s love in that. They see it now and are able to offer it to her.

This answer has been very messy and very long, but hey, let’s pretend it isn’t that bad. Give me some mercy, I’m on so much cough syrup.

Craig Tucker x Fem!reader

💌 Craig Tucker is a mother fucker: Chapter 5 💌

Summary: You want to say that it wasn't your fault buuuuuut it kinda was. You didn't think much of it as you casted your joke vote for the "Hottest guy in school" and in hindsight you should never listen to Clyde but it was pretty funny at the time. Craig just wanted a peaceful junior year and you can't blame him for that however waking up the morning after a party, in his bed, being told that you two were dating wasn't exactly your definition of peaceful either.

Notes: I was always too scared of the fandom to post it back in the day but I wrote this before Creek was made canon so let's just say Craig is bi for my sake because I've had a huge crush on him since forever. My S/O pointed out that Craig is just Trafalgar Law but with a guinea pig instead of a polar bear and I haven't been the same since I have a type and it's them.

You blinked you expected to hit the floor just like that time before, but you didn't. Craig caught you and walked away from the crowd of people before he put you down. "What is your deal and standing on tables? Did you not learn from last time?" You tried to get yourself another drink and he rolls his eyes at you. "Yeah I think it's time to cut you off" Craig said taking the cup from your hands. You tried to reach for it but there was no point you could barely stand and your legs were giving up on you. Maybe dancing on the table wasn't such a good idea after all. You pout at him but he just stares at you, he was not amused. You tried to stand up again struggling until Craig offered you a hand to help you. "(Y/n), you look like you're about to pass out. I think it's time for you to go home." you shook your head "Nu-uh it's time for you to go home. Besides I can't go home. We were supposed to have a sleepover at Bebe's but she went with Clyde somewhere and Weeeeendyyyyy's with Staaaaaaan." Craig dragged you into the kitchen it was clear that he was frustrated as he handed you a bottle of water "I still don't see why YOU can't go home."

You fumbled with the cap for a bit before Craig grabbed it from you "Give me that! God you're so annoying when your drunk." He said the last bit more under his breath than directed at you.

You didn't answer his question though, so he looked you in the eyes and talked patronizingly slow making sure he over enunciated to get the point across. You did not like his tone. "I still don't see how that's preventing you from going home" he opened the bottle and handed it back crossing his arms.

"Well mom" out of spite you took a sip of the water "Wendy and Bebe instructed me to get drunk and told me they'd hold on to my phone and my keys." you also made sure to speak almost too clearly as you took another sip "So I couldn't even if I wanted too" you smiled at Craig as you chugged the rest of the water holding the finished bottle to his face "Happy now?" you grinned as he rolled his eyes "Overjoyed." he motioned for you to follow him as he walked away but you just stood there not really sure how to work your legs. He turned around and groaned "You're coming with me." after you made no effort to follow him he walked back to you and knelt down beside you "Get on" You were oh so very confused but got on his back anyways. Is this what being tall felt like?

"Why? What are we doing?"

"We are going to find Wendy and I don't trust you to walk on your own, knowing you, you'd end up getting lost somehow. So just shut up and enjoy the ride before I change my mind" he sounded tired of your antics but was still deciding to help you? "Aw he cares." You think feeling a little bit giddy.

You wrap your arms around him pointing ahead shouting "Onwardz!" slurring the end of it with a shit eating grin before nuzzling into his neck. Craig was warm and smelled nice you probably could fall asleep like this. You were so relaxed you almost didn't hear him mutter "That's it, I'm going to kill you when you sober up." as he piggybacked you around looking for Wendy.

Eventually he found her talking with Stan who looked surprised as Craig approached. "I thought (Y/n) said you guys weren't dating anymore? Did you guys make up or something?" Stan said mildly slurring his words as he takes a swig from his cup. You held onto Craig a little bit tighter trying to keep it together after remembering what you saw in the hallway earlier. Craig shook his head and sighed, "We never were, let's be clear. Clyde said that Bebe asked me to keep an eye on her before they passed out because Wendy was supposed to be watching her but whatever," he rolled his eyes "(Y/n) said she gave you guys her keys and her phone." Wendy gave an apologetic look. She really did plan on watching over you but then Stan showed up and well you get the point. She dug through her pockets and pulled out your phone. "Sorry, I only have her phone. Bebe has her keys."

You grinned grabbing your phone to take a selfy with Craig who glared at the camera. You thought you both looked cute together. "No, delete that or I drop you" you sighed "Boo, you're no fun" He turns back to Wendy and thanked her before going off to find Bebe. You hugged him a little tighter before loosening your grip slightly before you blacked out.

You felt comfortable, comfortable enough to fall asleep that was the last thing you remember as you wake up the next morning. Your head kind of hurt but you didn't want to open your eyes. You just cuddled into the blankets more, it felt warm and nice but something seemed off. Slowly opening your eyes you see that you're not in your room or at Bebe's. It seemed familiar, like you've been here before but you couldn't put your finger on it.

Where the heck are you?

You tried to sit up, the key word is tried, something was weighing you down, there was an arm holding you in place. You were in your underwear in bed with someone else. You carefully turned around to see who's bed you were in and you held your breath trying not to make any loud noise. Craig Tucker was sleeping next to you also nearly naked.

WHAT DID DRUNK YOU DO!?

"Okay think (Y/n), what happened last night? Did we fuck Tucker? There's no way right. I mean we both still have clothes on." You tried really hard to remember how you got here you really did but your thoughts were broken when Craig pulled you closer.

He looks so peaceful when he sleeps, you'd hate to admit he was kinda cute. Normally he would be frowning in annoyance or being an asshole so you never really noticed but right now, you can see why so many of the girls voted for him with Clyde's help or otherwise. You wanna touch his face, like is he even real? Maybe this was all a dream. You cup his face and rub your thumb over his cheek, it's really soft and warm. Craig shifts, nuzzling into your hand in his sleep before his eyes slowly open and you quickly retract your hand "Shit" you swear under your breath you didn't mean to wake him in fact you probably should have tried harder to leave.

"Morning" Craig mumbled as he shifted removing his arm from your waist to rub his eyes. He didn't seem bothered by you being there for once, it was kind of awkward "m-morning" you stuttered still trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

"How are you feeling?" Craig just stares at your eyes it's weird you've never really thought that one could give too much eye contact but it felt like he was looking into your soul "I have a slight headache not too unbearable" you take a long pause waiting to see if he'll do anything but he doesn't "How did..." you trailed off it was probably a stupid question "D-did....did we...."

Craig frowns "You don't remember anything from last night do you" he sighs flatly patting your head. Why was he patting your head? "I had a feeling you wouldn't" he shifted to lay on his back looking at the ceiling. You tried your best to remember anything.

"I remember getting my phone from Wendy but that's it." Craig turned to you "Well Bebe had your keys and-"

"Hey Token" you guys ran into Token on the way back into the house "Are Bebe and Clyde still locked away" Craig hopped slightly feeling you start to slide down. You were phasing in and out almost forgetting to hold on. "Yeah why?" Token turns to look at you "Is (Y/n) okay?" you tighten your grip smiling as you press your face against Craig's while he nudges you with his shoulder "She's drunk, Bebe has her Keys and I was told to babysit" Token takes a sip of his drink nods "Ah I see, well good luck with that I think they're still down." you waved Token off as Craig walks upstairs and knocks on Clyde's door "Hey are you guys awake, (Y/n) needs her keys to go home" He paused waiting for a response on the other side of the door but you shake your head "hrmmmmmm, No don't wanna" Craig stopped to pull out his phone to try to call Clyde instead. You both heard it ring on the other side of the door but nothing happened "(Y/n) I don't care if you don't want to go home, you need to go home" He started knocking on the door again already out of ideas.

"Youuuuuuuu should go home" you giggled as you feel Craig getting frustrated "I'm TRYING to go home but I'm stuck here with you." you shrugged "Not eveeeen, just take me home with you." Craig stopped knocking and froze "What?" You cuddled into his neck again.

"Well they're not answering and I can't go home anyways so why don't I go home with you." Craig takes a moment to think about it and smirks at you "Can't wait to hear the rumors on Monday." *

"Then I said fuck it and took you here." Craig finishes with his usual uninterested tone only glancing at you for your reaction "Okay, that all makes sense but why are we half naked." Craig groaned already regretting bringing you over "Of course, you don't remember that either do you?" you tried to think about it a little but still, nothing was jogging your memory "Ah no, I don't." you shake your head at him

"Do you want the short version or the long version cause my throat is killing me."

"I'll take the short version but I might change my answer after you tell me."

"Well the short version is we're dating now." Craig just looks you in the eyes and you think this is the first time you've ever made real eye contact with him. Have his eyes always been this pretty? You thought they were black but when you're this close to him they're more of a navy blue and while you feel like you could stare at his eyes forever, just what the fuck did drunk you do. Craig snaps his fingers in front of your face

"Earth to dumbass"

"Okay yeeeeeeeah, I want the long version." Craig groaned while he ruffled his hair "I need water. This is so stupid." Craig hands you your phone and walks out of the room for a moment muttering "Why did I even agree to this." while you try to put the pieces back together. You try skimming through social media looking for clues. Apparently you danced on another table. Someone posted a video of you. You also found barrage of messages from Bebe.

3:23am- OMG I STILL HAVE YOUR KEYS!!! I'M SOOOO SORRY!!! Please tell me you went home with Wendy.

3:27am- Wendy's saying she's not with you. where'd you go >:?

3:32am- Those rumors tho, you and Craig are tots dating. Rumor has it you guys left together B)

3:35am- Apparently Craig left Clyde some messages. OOOoooOOOOoooOOOo~ scandalous

3:38am- Remember don't do anything I wouldn't do >;)

Oh sweet Jesus the rumors, you're dead Craig's getting ready to kill you. He's going to the kitchen to get a knife to kill you but he said you guys were dating now? You look through your camera roll and find the selfy Craig mentioned earlier. You were supposed to delete that but you didn't. He doesn't have to know you kept it you looked all cute and happy while Craig looked annoyed, it was a good picture of you both. There was also a video of last night that looks like it was filmed at Craig's house.

Craig came back before you actually clicked on the video and he handed you a water bottle and some meds for your headache "Aw so sweet, thanks honey." You more or less mocked him as he sits down at the edge of the bed. He rubs his face "Oh shut up you. Do I really have to explain the long version."

"I mean I would like the long version but if you're not capable, I guess I took a video?" Craig raises an eyebrow at you as you hit play

* It looks like you were about to sleep. Craig was already laying down with his eyes closed as you were trying to get both of you into frame. "Hey just a heads up I know you won't believe him in the morning" Drunk you gestures over to a very tired Craig "But you guys are going to be dating from now on, well fake dat-" Craig put his arm around you dragging you down on the bed "Just go the fuck to sleep." drunk you laughs at this "What already can't stand it-" *

The video ends with Craig reaching over to end the recording cutting you off mid sentence. You turn to Craig even more confused and he grumbles rolling his eyes "Okay fine"

*After you both left the party you were muttering "I was mostly joking, you don't have to. Honestly I thought you would have just left me passed out at the party. You're being so nice right now, you're going to be an asshole again when I wake up aren't you." your head was going a mile a minute you didn't have time to filter what you were saying because couldn't take the fact that Craig didn't answer you. He just kept walking until he got to his house which was only down the street. He unlocked the door and walked inside "My parents are out of town and my sister is at a friend's house this weekend. Can you walk yet?" you nod and he helps you off his back and stretches "You're heavier than you look." He yawns taking off his shoes. Normally you would have some sort of comeback but you couldn't think of anything. You struggled to get you shoes off making sure to take them with you before following him upstairs to his room. "You can sleep here, I guess I'll-"

You cut him off pushing past him to flop on his bed. You lay down like one of those french ladies that people be painting all the time. "You sly dog, there's only one bed" you say as you start to slowly undress wiggling your eyebrows at him. He rolled his eyes at you "I know, that's why I was going to just sleep on the couch-" you cut him off again "But this is your room you should sleep here. I'm small so there should be plenty of room" before he could turn to leave you grab his wrist and pull him on the bed "Do you want me to get you a change of clothes." Craig said looking away from you. What was he even supposed to do in this situation. This is not how he pictured his night when Clyde asked him to come over. You shook your head glancing at your underwear "Nah, I like these they're cute." you see him peek at you before he ruffled his hair rather aggressively letting out a frustrated sigh as he started to disrobe as well "You'd probably freak out tomorrow if you are the only one not wearing clothes." he paused massaging his temples. He pulled back the blanket before laying down "I can hear the rumors now." he looked over at you "This is annoying."

You shifted and fiddled with the blanket "I-I'm sorry, I could leave." you sat up slowly but he grabbed your wrist and forced you back down "Sit your ass down you can stay. I already dug my grave by bringing you here." you looked like you were about to cry, you didn't want to be a burden but here you are. He noticed your eyes were starting to water before he let out another sigh "Fucken alright look, I don't give a shit if people think we're dating. At this point I don't think anyone really believes it considering the rest of the girls keep pestering me. You would think if rumor had it I was already dating someone they'd stop but no, Lola and her fucking gang won't leave me alone."

"So I'm not annoying?" he laughed "Oh no trust me you are but you're at least a part of the friend group I hang out with, it at least makes sense why people would think we're a thing, but fucking Lola? She thinks I'm cheating on her or some shit. I've been turning her down since middle school and she still doesn't catch the fucken hint." you tilt your head trying to make some sort of sense from this "Ever since you started hanging around more she thinks you're her competition and keeps avidly making it a point to get on my last nerves." he pinches the bridge of his nose continuing "Not to mention I get confessed too about 2-3 times a week because of that stupid list shit." You tried to follow along but your brain was all over the place trying to come up with some sort of solution because you were the technical center of the problem? Whatever the case you said the first thing that came to you.

"What if it wasn't just a rumor, like what if we actually started dating? She would have to leave you alone because you're taken right?" Craig blinks at you trying to process what you are saying "Where is this coming from, I thought you sobered up a little?" you shrug "Drunk or not is beside the point. She and, well, the rest of the girls are only bothering you because you're still single right?"

"I guess but-"

"So if we start dating they would back off for sure." you decided that it made perfect sense in your head meanwhile Craig was so confused he was at such a loss for words "Okay but one we hate each other and two didn't you say you have a crush on somebody?" you frown at the last bit thinking of Stan kissing Wendy. A part of you was happy for your friend but another part wanted to curl up and die for even thinking you had a sliver of a chance. "Yeah that crush thing didn't really pan out. Turns out he has a thing for someone else, that's kind of why I was drinking tonight er last night?" you lightly smack your cheeks together to get the thought out of your mind as you continued to ramble. "But I mean keep your friends close and your enemies closer, I'd be doing you a favor and I feel like being in debt to me would drive you crazy." Craig scoffed "Like you could even last long enough to drive me crazy. I bet you couldn't last one day as my girlfriend." you narrowed your eyes raising an eyebrow at him "Oh is that a challenge Tucker? We both know you would run out of patience before I would, that's not even a question. As your girlfriend I bet I can stand this relationship longer than you can."*

"Well shit, I guess we're dating now." you say nonchalantly staring back at Craig "I guess we are." you both took a moment staring at one another not really sure what to do.

"What happens now?" you asked Craig who was already on his phone "What do you mean?"

"Like do we have a back story yet, what do we tell people? How far are we going to sell this?" Craig finally stopped typing and looked up from his phone "The terms were until one of us breaks so," he holds out his hand "Anything goes?" you smile and shake his hand however you don't let go. You twist his hand and kiss it giving him a wink "Anything goes." Craig doesn't miss a beat he pulls your wrist so your face is inches from touching his. With his free hand he cups your cheek. You anticipated a kiss but instead he laughed and licked up the side of your face. He smiles wide and flips you off while you pull away in disgust wiping your face

"Oh, it's on"

Ooooh okay! Headcanon for the infamous TenRen Tickle Tag Team (my fav bois)

They often have Tickle fights amongst one another to see who's the better tickler, but when another hashira walks in on them (ie Giyu, Sanemi, or Muichiro), they hold a contest between each other and use that hashira as a guinea pig to see who's the better tickler

“Not at all! I stand by what I said, Tengen.” Rengoku smiled, unfazed by the commentary of his companion. “If anything- I believe the glitter you dazzle yourself up with has gone bad. Why else would you doubt my judgment?”

“Are you two fighting?” Muichiro asked as he walked in, seeming to come out of his cloudy thoughts then. “Is it about dumplings again?”

“Not that serious, Mui. See, Kyojuro here thinks he’s the better tickler of our dynamic duo!” Tengen waved an accusatory hand at the blonde. “He’s lost his mind, don’t you think?” “Now Tengen, not in front of the children.” Rengoku chided, wagging a finger. “You’re just huffy because I’m right.”

“Over my flashy left nu-”

“Oi! Watch your mouth!” Sanemi covered Muichiro’s ears from behind, glaring at the oversized Hashira. “Good lord- Shinobu leaves for ONE afternoon and you two lose all sense.”

Tengen and Rengoku blinked. Then they looked at eachother.

“Flip a coin?” Tengen offered.

“No need. I already know which one I’ll grab.” Rengoku smiled, eyes dancing. “Ready?”

“What?” Muichiro asked, ears still covered.

Sanemi, who’s ears weren’t covered, made a short sound of “OH SHI-” Before he was tackled by Rengoku, easily tossed into the nearest training mat. “Don’t you fucking dare-GEHahhahahahhahaha!” He was laughing almost instantly as fingers attacked his sides.

“Tengen! An idea?” Rengoku called over his shoulder, eyes dancing with glee. “Let’s prove it now! We’ll see who the better tickler is!”

“Oh, you wanna go? Fine then!” Tengen, who had subtly made his way over to Muichiro, tugged the smaller Hashira by his uniform before he could run. “Shall we, Muichiro?”

“....Oh.” The Mist Hashria blinked, coming to. “Oh.” He said again when he realized what was happening. “....Sure, go for it.” He shrugged, accepting his fate.

“That’s what I wanted to hear!” Tengen laughed, easily scooping the small boy up in his arms, fingers flying over his ribs and earning a stream of giggles. “Very well- game on, Rengoku! First to make them squeal for mercy wins!”

“I dihiihihihihin’t agrheehhehhee uhuhuuhuhp for thhihihihihiihs!” Sanemi cackled out, cheeks pink and eyes squeezed shut.

“Do you wish for me to stop?” Rengoku asked, starting to pause.

“Fuhuuhuhhuck no! Wehehhhehe’re gohohoohoohnna behhehehhat thahahhahhahat ohohohohoversihihihized rohoohohoohohock!” He declared, sending Rengoku into a fit of giggles.

“Very well! Let the Great Tickle Slayer Battle commence!”

Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I use both, but in CASt I add more realistic textures for MM items if it's possible, detailed textures is really important for me. For hair I prefer now more realistic textures like @ifcasims or Plumblobs. Also I replace speculars to black in almost every item because I hate that shine.

Do you cheat your sims weight? No, I don`t care about this.

Do you move objects? I don`t build most of the time, but I use MOO for moving sims for photoshoots.

First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? I've always had an 🏴‍☠️ game with all packs 😋

Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? I don`t speak about sims in English, but I read this in my head as aLIVE.

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? To be honest, it changes every day. But for example before I started this acc I preferred more maxis-match-ish style with simple matte hair textures and genetics and other stuff, because it was looking good in other people's screenshots. But after I understand that this style doesn`t suit my current aesthetic and now I use more realistic style. Also earlier I used less sliders and my sims faces was less diverse and also really really skinny no matter what their body type is. But my sims proportions have always tended to be realistic, I only liked the cartoon/anime-like style sims when I was much younger (like 10-13 smth).

Who’s your favorite CC creator? This list will be huuugee, but I love creators that made high-quality CC and can fit my aesthetic. Also mess around in photoshop and/or use AI upscaler to make pics in better quality (I can turn on 4k HQ, but I always forgot about that). Sometimes I try something different but this is the base.

Actual (non-joking) rundown of the conversation under the cut

When I took Anthropology in college, one of the bigger topics of conversation was gender and its detachment from biological sex. To really drive the point home, the professor brought up the Hua people of Papua New Guinea, their belief in a substance called Nu, and how it tied into their ideas on gender.

The TL;DR version of that lecture is that to the Hua, Nu is the nonstatic and volatile, ever-flowing lifeforce of the universe, and as the source of life it is innately feminine. The amount of Nu you have flowing through you dictates your femininity and masculinity to the Hua; thus net-Nu-influx makes you more woman-like, and net efflux makes you man-like. They have four genders: AFAB woman, AMAB man, AFAB man, and AMAB woman, and Nu provides the Hua an explanatory framework for why a person's gender may not match their sex, or even change throughout life. I thought that was very elegant, and an attitude we could stand to adopt. That's where my formal knowledge of this people and their belief begins and ends.

Well no shit there I was, a decade later, trying to figure out how to make a fantasy steam engine work in my conworld when I realized the actual substance of magic had no rules! I dug through some of my old notes and found what I recorded from that old lecture. I liked the idea of a source of magical power that, like Nu, was inherently volatile and non-static. What I landed on was a "universal energy medium" that could be losslessly converted from mundane forms of energy like heat, light, pressure, etc., flow through a system, and be converted back, but couldn't be stored in its form as a "universal energy medium" without spontaneously and destructively converting into a different form of energy; if it's in flux it's magic, but as soon as it stops it must become something else.

I designed a solid-state "steam" engine that could convert the heat from a coal-burning furnace directly into rotation by means of this mechanism and went about my day.

Later, I started thinking about the implications of adopting more of the features of Nu - specifically the idea that taking in Nu was culturally feminizing - and exaggerating them. What if long-term exposure to this stuff-of-magic could literally, physiologically, turn you biologically female? Like, the reason why you channel your spells through a staff or an orb is because excess runoff magic flowing through your body Does Something You Might Not Want.

What would the implications of that be for this world where this substance is the foundation of their power structures and beginning to emerge as the core mechanism of their rapidly-industrializing technology?

So, I decided to post those thoughts to Reddit's worldbuilding community for feedback and gave my post what I thought would be an engaging title.

Det är ca 114 tidningar i 50 länder(olika språk) som publicerat mina 67 artiklar genom åren, i de Nordiska länderna(undantag Island) och utomlands som t ex Indien, Ghana, Papua nya Guinea, Italien, Irland, Albanien, Namibia, USA, El Salvador osv. Då på svenska, finska, norska, danska, engelska, spanska m fl andra språk. Ungefär 219 publiceringar, All ära och pris till Herren Jesus!☝️💯 Det som glädjer mig personligen mest är att många sekulära, vanliga dagstidningar (98 stycken) publicerat, ganska ofta väldigt evangelistiska inlägg. Sålunda har ungefär en miljon läsare i Norden, många miljoner utomlands fått kristna, evangelistiska budskap i sin egen dagstidning, vilket medfört att de flesta läser…En del artiklar är "vanliga", icke-evangelistiska som i DN, då blev läsekretsen förståss större. Visst behöver även Guds folk läsa matnyttiga och mer rejäla ”kristna” artiklar, så jag är tacksam att dessa också nått ut via kristen media, men när icke-troende får evangeliet direkt i sin egen profana dagstidning så är det Hallelujaläge! Och ett knäböjande Böneläge🙏 Vi förmår inget om inte Gud griper in; rör vid, drar människan, uppenbarar sanningen och sig själv…

Gud lade skrivandet i hjärtat mitt som ett uppdrag, jag började skicka in artiklar för över 20 år sedan och möttes av total tystnad, likgiltighet, nej, artiklarna var inte "världsklass", men sanning. Det är när du både träffar prick på sanning och levererar det i "språkliga uppenbarelser", där läsaren känner igen dessa sanningar i tanke och själ, i erfarenhet och även i Anden för den troende, då blir artikeln bra, och detta vet tidningsredaktörer.

Det mest givande blir att vandra tillsammans i texten, så att de flesta förstår, hellre enkelt och rakt språk, men inte banalt, nej, väljer vi de rätta orden som träffar sanningen "mitt i prick" så blir vår gemensamma resa i texten spännande, berikande och förvandlade. Därtill, är ju Guds Ord det rena, med 100% sanningshalt, och därför är det bäst att försöka utgå ifrån och integrera Ordet rikligt i budskapet, där finns den övernaturliga kraften som lyfter till Himmelska höjder. Och, alltjämt, för att få "kristet" publicerat i sekulär media, krävs främst Guds bestämda hand över artikelinskicket. Min fru fick profetiskt att Jesus skulle lägga sin hand över många artikelinskick, och så blev det, tack Jesus! Prisat vare Herren!☝️

☝️Slutligen, personligt: Min “känsla” inför alla publicerade artiklar är fruktansvärt onöjd. Det hjälper inte att miljoner fått evangeliet, det är ändå miljarder som ännu inte fått det! Evangeliet som kan frälsa/rädda dem till evigt liv i Himlen istället för evig förtappelse. Det borde vara 1000 fler publicerade artiklar jorden runt. Jag är olycklig med nöd för alla dessa människor, men Jesus ger ändå frid innerst inne, men nöden förblir. Hur ska någon kristen kunna vara nöjd förrän precis alla har fått möjligheten, att höra eller läsa Evangeliet…🙏 Därtill alla väckande viktiga budskap/artiklar till troende via kristna tidningar. Det behövs ljusfacklor av sanning in i all infiltration av liberalteologi, villoläror och sekulära mörker som mer eller mindre intagit dagens församlingar, långt ifrån alla förståss, men "väckelsebudskap" i Ordet och i Anden är vägen framåt… 🙏🔥💖
