Going through a straight up comical amount of irritating situations to get the stupid 4* guaranteed ticket from the welcome to sekai campaign. It Will Be Mine.
#Iām resuming this tomorrow itās been hours now Iām just mad#Iām home because my parents are moving to a different state and I needed to pack whatever was left#and for some reason we just keep old devices when weāre done with them#so I borrow an adapter to allow me to connect my ancient unworking iPad mini to my laptop#factory reset it. i have to reset an old email to access the old Apple id to fully reset it.#it wonāt connect to the wifi so I have to reset the settings. i find out itās too old to run pjsk.#i find an old phone that should work. i reset it as well. Iām able to download pjsk & it takes 20 minutes.#pjsk crashes everytime I try to open it. i attempt to run bluestacks on my computer. bluestacks doesnāt have 64 bit for mac yet.#i get a free trial of parallels and download windows onto my laptop. this takes 40 minutes.#i try to download and run bluestacks on that. m1 macs apparently canāt run bluestacks 64 bit through parallels.#i go find the final old phone that I had forgotten about. it takes forever to charge because the charging port is fucked up. i reset it as#well. it canāt connect to wifi. i try a hotspot on my current phone. service is too awful. i try to do wifi sharing from my laptop.#you have to be connected to the router via a cable for that to work.#at this point it has been like 3 hours. Iām giving up because Iāve been down this route before#when I attempted to run 32 bit steam games on m1 mac#(wine64 doesnāt exist for m1 macs yet -> attempt to run boot camp -> boot camp isnāt a thing anymore on Apple silicon -> attempt to run#several different programs that allow me to run windows on a mac. none of them work. ->#look into linux & give up. -> attempt to implement the unfinished/unbottled wine64 code thru terminal. ->#fuck up and delete some important file & have to fix that (misery inducing) -> keep trying. i think I downloaded a Mac coding program at#some point? i realize I have zero coding knowledge and this is a mistake. -> give up and purchase crossover. game doesnāt even work. ->#3 months later update to the latest OS so I can have enough storage to play psychonauts 2. find out the $60 crossover#purchase was a bad idea because āheehee crossover doesnāt work on that buy the new versionā (fuck crossover).#my toxic trait is my belief that I can figure out anything via google and sheer stubbornness. usually this is true. occasionally there are#exceptions to this rule. most of them are because owning Apple products is a mistake.#i think if I reset the router tomorrow I can solve this problem but I can also just go elsewhere with better service or wait until Iām home#now itās a matter of pride. and also free 4*/I have nothing better to do because Iām stuck here until Tuesday.#<- this is all normal behavior by the way. who doesnāt spend 8 hours ramming their head against a problem every once and a while. enrichment#mine#oh I forgot. i also looked into cloning the app but that would cost money for something that might not even work.#ājust log out and make an altā and risk losing my account? from is like lost to me, it's stacking mystery boxes on top of mystery boxes but refuses to answer any of them š¬š«
#it pisses me off so much it feels like im being cuckheld the entire time#doesnt help the entire s1 is just not. good. besides last maybe 2 episodes. s2 picks up half way through but keeps on dragging#the moment the msuic box got introduced#dialogue and line delivery are some of my major problems with the show. maybe 3 actors can pull off what they're saying. the rest#they're doing their best given the shit script but god. at what cost#whoever's in charge of writing i need them to reevaluate their life choices. the first episodes os s2 are especially hard to watch#the dialogue is so unnatural#like the entire concept of the show. is interesting enough#the town is like the island from lost#but they keep on introducing new thjings and nothing. nothing ever gets explained. ever. kill me#i heard it gets good in s3 so im suffering through it#personal#delete later

I'm a bit stumped on how to post on this blog now. I think the way I self-ship has changed. I used to make up an OC and use them as a conduit to create stories, but now I just kinda imagine my f/os with me. And I'm very awkward about talking about myself at the best of times.
#I also think that 2022 caused me to have a serious crisis of self that I didnt anticipate#going to college forced me to discover that I didnt know myself *at all*#like I used to think I sucked and was good at nothing#genuinely thought id drop out after like 2 weeks cus I couldnt cope#but by the end of it I was on the student council and I had teachers asking ME to answer questions they couldnt#and I developed real confidence that I wasnt 'fake it til you make it'-ing#all of that should have been a good thing but it really threw me off cus like I said#I always thought I was just kind of generic#i mean Im still just normal but ?? im actually good at things and people can treat me with respect?#i didnt know that.#so yeah I kinda went off topic but what I mean is#i think im exploring my f/os loving me for me so I can explore the person I actually am#not who i always thought i was or should be or whatever my OCs were based on#levi speaks

My experience with The Empty Bowl
Pros:
very calming, no loud noises or change in tone
interesting to me, but not so interesting that i have to listen intently so i can eventually drift off into sleep most nights
Helps me cam down and ground me when im very anxious or panicking
Excellent vibes, justin and dan have great chemistry and soothing voices
i love the wave sounds and music
literally it is the podcast i listen to the most, ive heard most episode at least 4 times, when i catch up with the newest and therefore finished the whole thing i just start at the beginning again
Cons:
Sometimes it makes me a little hungry but like specifically for cereals i will never get to taste ever. They might as well be talking about fantasy or sci-fi foods, this is completely fictional stuff for me. Some of these cereal concepts i can hardly even imagine. It is so wild to me that there is a real place where big movies get a tie-in cereal, famous cereal lines have a million spin-offs with different flavours and popular non-cereal foods are reimagined into a cereal version? it sometimes feel like i am listening to a podcast from a different dimension and then i get sad :(
#mine#we have like a handful of the big cereals from the us over here#of the top of my head i can list: krave fruit loops cinnamon toast crunch and like 2 kinds of special k#oh and i found oreo os in a denner a while back#and then the basic stuff like frosted or non frosted cornflakes#(we also have a million kinds of muesli but those arent of any big american brands i dont think)#so yeah i know just a few of the things they mention and have to imagine everything else based on nothing lol#i really dont want to travel to the us (because its far and expensive) or stay there for any time really#but i wish i could try all these different cereals juat once#cereal blogging#the empty bowl

Laptop is finally starting to give up the ghost š it's a 2015 laptop so it stopped receiving OS upgrades a couple years ago š and MS Office hasn't been able to update in over a year š which has finally culminated in OneDrive no longer being able to sync to finder (or run at all as a desktop app) š
#i've been saying i need to replace it since it stopped receiving OS upgrades but oofa are new macbooks expensive and not really what i want#i got it at a five finger discount so my tolerance for wonkiness is pretty high but this requires a real pita workaround#where i need to save locally and then manually upload via the onedrive web app#i went through multiple major data loss events in college so yes i pay for onedrive#i dont really like gsuite bc i find sheets lacks some functionalities i use vs excel and i prefer desktop apps for office software#the size of my air (11in) is also perfect for travel so i'll probably hang onto it just for that since i do 1-2 overnights/mo for work#it is just like. come the fuck on. really? i know that nothing new will last this long :\

#so i think my boyfriend is going to break up with me#i just had an abortion a week ago and i was at the ER last night for hours#ive been in so much pain recently and it stopped today after the ER visit bc of the meds they gave me but also i learned that due to all the#blood loss im now anemic and might need a blood transfusion and im so afraid of everything getting worse because it is#im still homeless and trying to get stable housing. im staying at a temporary housing place right now but im sleeping on my moms couch on#and off because she has a car and os close to the ER if something goes worse.#im pretty sure hes going to leave me. hes been distant and i really need him right now. like he isnt taking care of me when i can barely#move because of the extreme pain. he hasnt been cooking for me after i cooked for him every night since we got together until now.#he hasnt been there emotionally and is only there physically sometimes even though hes with me everyday and night. hes not there financially#either. the one time he sent me money to help was 2 days ago and he essentially made me spend the 25 on games and wouldnt let me save it#for when we needed it. it also seems like hes blaming me for his blood sugar even though ive been spending my last cash on him and when i#have nothing i still get him sugar and food. he hasnt contributed at all really and i feel so fucking used and that hes going to drop me now#ive been using all of my connections and resources to make sure we have a place to stay. an apartment. food. sugar. and safety.#but all hes done is lie about putting in job applications and try to get into an apartment over an hour away from where we are and he knows#i dont want to move there at all. but he keeps trying to get in. ive told him im not moving there. he said all he wants is for us to live#together and he doesnt care where it is. but damn i dont feel heard at all. and i feel like hes definitely going to leave me#im so scared i love him so much#tag vent#vent#vent in tags
