So this ask has been sitting in my inbox for some time, I've been rather busy & now instead of ignoring it, I'm procrastinating by answering it haha

It's sweet that you're concerned but no, me & @silverhallow haven't had a fallout! I'm still in her DMs here on Tumblr, messaging her about random stuff & I'm still spamming her on Instagram with reels of cute puppies & babies (& the occasional royal rant because I have to stay #on brand).

I understand why some of Ash's regular readers might be confused not seeing me screaming in the comments or screaming in her asks, but you guys shouldn't compare me from 2021-2022 to me today. In both autumn term 2021, spring term 2022 & autumn term 2022, I studied only 50%, meaning I had a lot of free time. So I could spare a few hours almost every day of the week to read Ash's work & then bully her into writing more 😂 I don't have that time any more.

I've studied full-time this entire year (yes, even over the summer) & those who follow me know what a pain in the a** I've had when it comes to my thesis (it looks like I'll be defending it again in January but who knows). That, combined with personal matters, means there's not as much free time & not as much free brain space for me to read for fun.

Plus, I'm not gonna lie... as much as Benophie are still my babies, I'm kind of burned out when it comes to them. Ash is a fantastic writer & I have no doubt I'll love her more recent work when I get to it in 5 years. But at the moment, there's very little free brain space & I've taken a break from reading Benophie stuff in the hopes that I'll feel more excited about them soon. I mean, every now & then I wake up like "Gosh, I miss Hinny/Bellarke/Zaven/Stydia/Noorhelm/Helnik/Shirbert today!" so it won't be too long before I'm in a missing Benophie mood

This became quite the ramble but I hope that answers any concerns people have 💜

A very familiar sensation bubbled within William’s chest, and yet he could’t decipher which emotion he was feeling. Was it anger, betrayal, or just pure disappointment? Although, he was perfectly healthy, he had felt as though he had the stomach flu.William genuinely felt as though he was going to be sick. Some part of him had been praying that she’d deny what Nikolai had told him. After all, why would someone as amazingly pure as her sleep with someone so terrible? “You lied to me then,” William stated with a broken voice. Not long after he opened his mouth to speak, a loud ringing sprung inside his ears. His vision felt hazy as it began to blur ever so slightly. Every muscle in his body ached, it felt as though he had been hit by a train, and he found it difficult to breath. He had to leave, and with no other thought, William Magnusson hurriedly turned away from the girl and took long strides to his sports call. For the first time in his whole life, he experienced heartbreak.
