mind boggling how sometimes time apart makes old wounds stop stinging and gives a chance at meeting old friends again but as a new person--and then sometimes time apart just gives you a chance to fucking breathe and realize you're far better off this way.
#something something its easier to see when you're indignant on someone else's behalf in a mirrored situation#anyway#my existence on the internet will never allow me the same anonymity as the people i've cut contact with#who can simply change a username to disappear#uncovered glass windows floor to ceiling#either I dance in time with the lights on at night like my feet have never felt blisters#or i smother the whole house in heavy curtains#i doubt it would convince one peering in that yes#it hurt but not as bad as I thought it would#life is anticlimactic that way#my glass house is mine and my sore feet are mine to put to bed and somehow it isn't even to spite you when I try the steps of a dance again#maybe you will see. maybe you won't. it won't matter in the end#sometimes it really is that simple to forget about ghosts pressed to the window

Your Roommate Sukuna
“That Time He Scared The Life Out Of Me”
Modern no curse AU, Sukuna X Reader
Synopsis: This housing crisis sure is no joke huh? Rent is just too expensive to live alone, so you put out a listing for a roommate and ended up living with none other than the tattooed bad boy Ryomen Sukuna! This is part of a series of drabbles and oneshots showing glimpses into you and Sukuna’s living situation!!
Contains: metal-vocalist!Sukuna, fluff, you’re both basically frenemies
Word Count: 1.4k
Series Masterlist - My Full Masterlist
You and Sukuna don’t tend to be home at the same time, you’d think you would see him all the time considering, you know, you live together and all, but you honestly don’t really know all that much about him. You know he rides a motorcycle, ‘cause every time he pulls up to the apartment late at night it’s blaring loud engine wakes you up, and you know he listens to metal music because it’s blasting through his speaker in the bathroom right now as he’s taking a shower next to your room; maybe he’s going deaf, that’s probably a safe assumption considering everything around him is so loud.
Hell, everything about him is loud. Not only literally, like how he can never walk to your room to come get you and instead opts to yell across the apartment, but it’s as if every aspect of him doesn’t know subtlety. He’s always wearing over the top clothes, spiked leather jackets, torn to shreds t-shirts, jeans with patches sewn into every available spot, his pink hair and his face tattoos drawing everyone’s attention, everything is so maximalist. And his personality, you swear he’s never backed down from anything. Anything he does, he does it with passion, he does it big, and he does it bold.
Basically, you don’t know peace when he’s home, and you especially don’t know peace this morning, being rudely awoken by his blaring music in the bathroom between both of your bedrooms. Technically it’s not his fault that this overpriced apartment only has one bathroom, but for Christ’s sake it’s six in the morning, what is he even doing awake right now?
You grab your pillow from under your head and smother your face underneath it, attempting anything to be able to sleep in on your day off.
He drives me fucking insane.
The pillow definitely helps muffle the sound, but it’s not enough; and it definitely isn’t enough to cover the sudden low growling coming from the bathroom. You slowly uncover your face, brows furrowed as you’re trying to figure out what that noise is before it suddenly jumps in volume, like some kind of scream, making you nearly jump out of your bed. What the fuck is that? Did a pipe burst? Did the ceiling collapse?
It sounds like some kind of lion- or maybe a demon, horrific screaming growls coming from the next room. You slowly raise yourself off of your bed, timidly stepping out of your room and taking a few steps to stand outside of the bathroom door. It’s definitely coming from in there, but Sukuna doesn’t seem to have any reaction to it. Surely there’s no way he doesn’t hear that, right?
Oh my god, he really is going deaf isn’t he?
“Sukuna?!” You yell from the other side of the door, the low growling sound abruptly stops.
“What?” He yells back, he sounds annoyed. Annoyed? You’re trying to save him from a lion that just fell through the ceiling, or… something, and he’s seriously annoyed?
“What the fuck is that noise?” You can hear the shower stop running and his music shut off, after a moment of waiting the door swings open. Sukuna stands before you, a towel wrapped loosely around his waist and his pink bangs hanging over his eyes, dripping water down his cheeks.
“What? You don’t like it?” He grins at you before turning to face the mirror, swiping his palm over the fogged up glass to create a clearing to see his reflection in.
“It sounded like something was dying, please tell me that wasn’t you.” You step into the steamy bathroom, leaning your back against the wall and watching his grin grow wider through his reflection in the blurry mirror.
Sukuna grabs a clean towel from the floor, rubbing it over his hair and down his face, his voice muffled through the fabric, “I was practicing.”
He drops the towel from his face and drapes it around the back of his neck, glancing back at you in the mirror as he combs his hair out of his face with his fingers, he bites his lip to try and hide the snarky grin spreading across his face when he sees the confused look you give him, “Practicing for what? Are you auditioning to play a monster in a play or something?”
“Oh please,” He rolls his eyes and turns to face you, you’re not fast enough to catch your gaze before it drifts down to the droplets of water running down his tattooed abs and he simply snaps his fingers in front of your face to grab your attention back, seemingly unfazed by you accidentally checking him out, “I’m in a band, believe it or not I do the vocals.”
A faint blush started to paint your cheeks, but it’s quickly overshadowed by the way your jaw drops in mock horror, “Oh my god, that was you singing?”
“Oh fuck off,” He huffs out a short laugh, “I’m in a metal band, I actually scream.” He grabs the towel from around his neck, tossing it over your head and pushing past you to walk to his room.
“Hey! Asshole,” You tear the towel down from your face, letting it plop onto the tile at your feet, “You can’t just scream first thing in the morning! You scared the fuck out of me!”
He turns around to face you, wrapping a large hand around the top of the doorframe and leaning his side against it, “Consider us even then, you got me real good when you woke me up to you screaming Bloody Mary over a little fuckin’ spider.”
“That was different, I was scared! That’s a normal reason to scream!”
“Yeah?” He leans down to be eye level with you, speaking in a mocking tone, “Well I saw how much you shed all over the shower and was horrified.”
“You’re such a dick,” You turn to pull the shower curtain back, “There’s not even- oh, well, there’s like two strands, god forbid.”
He grins as he stands back at his full height, taking a few steps back into the hall and opening up the door to his room, you quickly follow behind him, looking up towards him, “Why didn’t you ever tell me you’re in a band?”
He shrugs nonchalantly, keeping the door open as he walks into his dimly lit room, “You never asked.”
You stand in his doorway, peering around his room. The walls are covered in posters and some most likely stolen street signs, but aside from the eclectic decor it’s surprisingly neat, “Is your music any good?”
He opens his closet door and then turns his head to face you, speaking to you in a monotone voice, “Can I put some clothes on or do you wanna talk to me with my cock out?”
A blush creeps onto your cheeks as you toss your hands up into the air defensively, turning around to give him some privacy, “My bad.”
You can hear Sukuna chuckle behind you and the quiet sounds of fabric moving around his skin, “Is it good? Well, you’d probably think it sounds like… what did you say? A dying animal?”
You grin and bite the inside of your cheek, “A dying animal or maybe the horrific screams of the unknown, either one.”
He lets out a satisfied hum, “Horrific screams of the unknown is a good album name, I’ll have to write that down.”
“I’ll be expecting royalties.”
“Don’t expect shit,” You suddenly feel a wet towel smack against your back, making you jump and yell out in surprise, “Brat.”
“Ew!” You turn around to find him standing right behind you, smug grin plastered on his face and both of his hands shoved into the pockets of the black sweatpants he threw on, opting out of putting on a shirt and instead leaving his tattooed torso on full display.
“Hm? Thought you’d want that,” He snaps his fingers in front of your face again, “Freak.”
Oh, oh he knows what he’s doing. You didn’t even realize how you were looking at him before he caught you, but it’s not like it’s your fault that he looks like that.
You let out a groan and turn around to walk down the hall to your room, “I’m going back to bed.”
He really drives me insane more than I thought he would.
Little do you know, he’s thinking a similar thought about you.

Prison visit
Hi, my name is Logan. I come from a quite boring family that includes my dad, my mum and my little brother. Unfortunately our family is now somewhat broken, because my dad decided behind our back to steal some money from the company he was working for. It wasn't a small ammount for all I know, so he was locked up and we all had to got to the trial.
We all had to dress up to represent our family. I hated the moment when the judge sentenced my father for several years in prison. All I could think about was the fact that I was the one, who had to take care of our family now. Which meant that I had to leave the army.
Me and my brother skipped the first few visits, because mom said that dad had to get used to being in prison and he didn't want to be seen in a bad mood. But the first visit was quite nice. Maybe except for the attack. Some prisoner bumbed into momand they both fell on the ground. It must have been a mental patient, because he started crying and screaming, that his body was stolen. Creepy, right?
Mum must have been shocked. She even missed a few turns when we were coming home from prison. I left her to relax and cooked dinner for us. When I went up to get her, the door to her bedroom were wide open and I couldn't believe what I saw.
Mom stood in front of the mirror, naked and fingered herself. Screaming in pleasure.
She turned her head slightly and smiled. I immediately left, hoping she didn't notice me.
I got my brother and told him that mom was too tired to join us.
The following days were really strange. Mom was walking around the house only in her bra and panties. I didn't wanna look, because it's my mom but ut was unavoidable.
One night, I think I heard male and even another strange female voices coming from my parents bedroom.
I eventually had to start taking care of my brother, because she didn't seem concerned, that he didn't have any food to eat etc.
I woke up in the morning to a weird feeling on my body. I opened my eyes and froze. My mom sat on my bed, my chest and boxers were uncovered and she had her hand on my stomach.
I couldn't let out a word, what was happening?!
Mom:"I have such a handsome young son. You really take care of your body, don't you? My son a soldier. How PROUD I am."
Me:"Mom, what are you..."
Mom:"Ah, don't you worry. I am just taking care of my LITTLE boy. But looking at the bulge you're packing, it seems you're not so little. Haha"
Me:"Mom... Stop it."
Mom:"Oh, come on. Don't you tell me you don't like these perfect tits. That you never wanted to touch them. And this pussy. God, you're really gonna enjoy this. And I can't wait to enjoy that dick" she said as she squeezed her tits and touched herself over the pants she was wearing.
As she finished, she quickly sat on top of me, I still couldn't react. She then pressed something against my chest, which hurt real bad. I passed out.
I opened my eyes and realised I sat on top of someone. "What the fuck?" I saw my own face smiling at me, My old hands were now placed on my hips. And I felt something below me... hardening
My body:"So, how do you like those tits... MOM?"
Me:"What the hell?!? What did you do?"
My body:"I gave you a gift. You can enjoy those tits and that tight wet pussy you like to peek on. You dirty WHORE. And unless you want to be fucked by your own body, I suggest you get off, because I am more then ready to shoot."
I moved and fell on the ground. I look down and indeed. My muscular chest was replaced by a pair of big boobs. My mother's boobs. I am my MOTHER
Me:"Mom, why are you doing this? Why me?"
My body:"Ah, you're so naive. I am not your mom, Logan. Or I should call you Cristine, now. Or better yet, MOM."
He started flexing and laughing at me
My body:"The chicks are gonna love this. I can't wait to fuck someone as a man again. Being a woman sucks."
I still sat there in shock, watching my body posing, flexing and enjoying his new reflection.
Only then I noticed the phone next to the mirror. My body noticed it.
My body:"Oh this? That's for me to have a memory. And also an insurance if you won't behave. I recorded what I did in your mother's body and If you won't behave I won't hesitate to use that as evidence to get you in prison. Unless you want to join your father and mother in prison, I suggest you behave. Now, go cook something, woman. I am hungry and now I got a job to do."
I got up from the floor, looking back at my body, feeling up my body.
I need to get help somehow
Prisoner's P.O.V.
Getting this kid's body is like a gold medal. After many years in my overweight body and then being that woman, this is by far the best thing yet.
I took out his phone to snap a few photos.
This kid has an amazing body. I can't wait to put it to test.
A message came to his phone number from LOVE<3. I browsed through the messaged. Fuck, this kid is gay. Nevermind, gonna turn him straight and dump this fucker. There won't be no more gay shit under my watch.
"Jeez. He's like a sculpture. If I had looked like this before, I wouldn't have to steal from all those people. This is amazing. Let's get this body showered and ready for Stacy."
At Stacy's house
Stacy:"Fuck. I can't believe it worked again. I was worried, that you would stay in that woman's body. I couldn't picture us like that back together."
Prisoner:"Don't worry, my darling. I found myself a great body for you to suck and enjoy. Wait till you see the dick that this kid has. Not only it is big, but the head of the cock is so strange, but hot at the same time."
They started making out. The tongues moving from one mouth into another. But there was a problem, that has never happened before.
Prisoner:"Wait. Something is wrong."
Stacy:"It happens sometimes. Remember that you're in other man's body and you're still not used to it."
Prisoner:"It's not that. This kid is gay. I think I can't get hard for you."
Frustrated and bored, the new Logan rested in the living room of his new body. The "mother" was walking around suspiciously, but careful.
Prisoner:"This is bullshit. I can't be gay forever. I need to find a better body to swap."
The younger brother rushed in with his way too loose Spiderman costume to hug his brother, who now wasn't used to it and pushed him off of himself.
Kyle:"Why did you do that?"
Prisoner:"I don't want another man to touch me."
Kyle:"You're funny, Logan. If you wouldn't have a boyfriend, i would believe you."
Prisoner:"Right."
Kyle:"Ok, so byeee."
Prisoner:"Where are you going dressed like that? It's not Halloween."
Kyle:"To Johnny's. We are having a costume party sleepover, while his older brother is gonna look after us."
Prisoner:"Who is the brother? Do I know him?"
Kyle:"Yeah, you do. You played football together. He's in university."
Prisoner:"Hmm. Interesting." I just hope it's not another gay jock like this one.
Prisoner:"Kyle? I have a cool deal for you. Wanna hear it?"
Kyle:"I bet mom won't know a difference between me and Logan. I can pretend to be him easily without her noticing. But I wonder why would Logan do that. It's nice of him that he gave me his body to try the costume, but he went to that party instead of me. I was looking forward to that."
Kyle pulled up the zip of the costume and started doing Spiderman poses.
Kyle:"Hell, yeah. Wait till the boys see how my costume first better then everybody else's!"

Having a cool dad like Bucky is a blessing. For Jade, it definitely is. Her friends, after meeting him, always say things like: “He’s so cool!” “He’s so funny!” or even, “Can we trade dads?”
Jade could only roll her eyes. Sure, Bucky’s pretty chill and easygoing about most things, but there’s one thing that drives her crazy.
It’s not a big deal for her, but for Bucky, it’s a huge one.
Romantic movies, especially where the bride runs away from the wedding.
That’s why their house only has action and mystery movies.
But tonight, Jade wants to watch one of her favorite genres at home. Why? Because their home theater is amazing, a special project Bucky built for his wife and daughter.
Unfortunately, her dad’s silly rules mean she can’t enjoy it.
But tonight is different. He’s heading out to pick up her mom from the airport.
Jade is sitting on the kitchen counter, waiting for her dad to leave.
In the hallway, Bucky stands in front of the mirror, fixing his hair and shirt while whistling a tune. Through the mirror, he notices Jade watching him.
“Don’t have a house party,” he says, pointing at her with mock sternness.
“Yes, yes,” Jade replies, hopping off the counter. She walks over, pushes him toward the garage, and tosses him the car keys. “Go pick up Mom.”
Bucky chuckles as he stumbles slightly. “Alright, alright. You’re awfully eager to get rid of me tonight.”
She smirks. “I just know how much you missed her. You two will probably go straight to dinner or something. Now, go!”
Bucky shakes his head, amused, and heads to the car. But as he opens the door, he suddenly stops.
“Wait… my wallet.”
He heads back inside.
“Jade?” he calls out. No response.
On the counter, his wallet sits neatly next to the fruit bowl. Grabbing it, he pauses. The house feels… too quiet.
“Jade!” he calls again, louder this time.
Still no answer. Frowning, he checks the living room and kitchen before heading upstairs. Knocking on her bedroom door, he’s met with silence.
“Did she sneak out?” he mutters. That didn’t seem like her.
Then it hits him. The home theater.
As he walks back downstairs, the faint smell of buttered popcorn wafts through the air. His suspicions confirmed, he pushes open the theater door.
“Jade!”
Startled, Jade nearly drops her popcorn but manages to save most of it. “Dad!”
She fumbles for the remote, pausing the movie and quickly turning off the screen. Her heart races—the scene on display had been the bride in a wedding dress.
Bucky strides forward, picks up the DVD case, and reads the summary. With a single glance, he knows exactly what it is.
“Jade, how many times have I told you? No romantic movies like this in my house.”
“But why?” she groans, flopping dramatically into her seat. “We have the best home theater! I just want to use it!”
Bucky crosses his arms, his expression stern. “Because they’re predictable. It’s always the same: someone’s crying, someone’s chasing, someone’s kissing. And the bride always runs away for some cliché reason.”
Jade huffs. “Why do you hate them so much? It’s not like Mom ever ran away from a wedding or something.”
The moment she says it, Bucky freezes.
Jade stares at him, her eyes widening. “Oh my God. Wait—she did, didn’t she?”
Bucky doesn’t answer. He turns and heads toward the door, but Jade jumps up, running after him.
She wraps her arms around his waist, trying to hold him back. “Dad! Is it true? Did Mom run away? How did you chase her? Why am I just finding out now?”
“I’m going to be late picking her up,” Bucky mutters, dragging himself forward with his daughter clinging to him like a koala.
Then, a notification chimes.
Both father and daughter glance at the phone on the counter.
The family group chat reads: “The flight’s delayed three hours. 😔”
Jade grabs the phone and shows him. “Look, Dad! Mom won’t be here for another five hours.”
Bucky sighs, rubbing the back of his neck.
“Please tell me!” Jade begs. “I promise I won’t watch the movie. This is way more interesting. Why did Mom run?”
Bucky turns to her with a serious expression. “She didn’t run away.”
“Huh?” Jade tilts her head, confused.
“She didn’t run away,” Bucky repeats. “I kidnapped her on her wedding day.”
The room goes silent.
Jade’s jaw drops as she points an accusing finger at him. “You… you stole Mom from someone else?! You're the bad guy!"
Bucky rolls his eyes and pushes her hand down. “If I hadn’t, she wouldn’t have had a happy life.”
He heads to the kitchen, grabs a cold bottle of water from the fridge, and takes a long drink.
Jade, now buzzing with excitement, follows him like a shadow. “Tell me! Tell me everything! How did that happen?”
Seeing her curiosity, Bucky sighs and gestures to the couch. “Fine. Sit down. I’m only telling this story once.”
Jade darts to the couch, grabs her popcorn, and settles in, eyes wide with anticipation.
Bucky clears his throat and leans back against the counter. “Alright. It was 15 years ago…”
💍🔔💍🔔
The changing room in the chapel buzzes with excitement. Your bridesmaids gather near the mirrors, giggling and chatting as they adjust their dresses and share jokes.
“Oh, did you see the flower arrangements?” one of them exclaims. “The Jordans really went all out!”
“They’re stunning. Just like this wedding,” another adds with a dreamy sigh.
Their energy fills the room, but you sit quietly in front of the mirror, staring at your reflection. The white wedding dress you’re wearing is nothing short of a masterpiece. Designed by a world-renowned fashion house, it fits you perfectly, every intricate detail exuding elegance. The lace, the pearls, the veil—it’s flawless.
But it doesn’t feel like yours.
“You’re so lucky,” one of the bridesmaids says, leaning toward you with a knowing smile. “Everything about this wedding is perfect. And Clark? He’s an absolute catch. You’re living a dream!”
You force a smile, your lips twitching just enough to look convincing. “Yeah… lucky,” you reply softly, though your voice lacks conviction.
In truth, you don’t feel lucky. You feel trapped. This wedding isn’t about love; it’s about business. The Jordans—one of the wealthiest families in the country—are securing an alliance with your family. It’s an arrangement, a deal sealed with vows.
It’s not that you dislike Clark. He’s kind, patient, and honest—a good man by anyone’s standards. The wedding is happening with your consent, after all.
Still, your heart feels heavy, uneasy. Marriage is forever. And with Clark? The problem is, you don’t love him. Not yet.
You hope, maybe after the wedding, the love will grow. Maybe with time, you’ll learn to love each other deeply. But right now, your heart is stuck in the past.
It doesn’t belong to Clark—it belongs to someone else.
Bucky.
The thought of his name makes your breath hitch. That wild man who once turned your world upside down. He was nothing like the calm, dependable Clark. Your parents couldn’t stand him, but you didn’t care. You chose him. For a while, you and Bucky were unshakable, inseparable—until life threw challenges your way, and the weight of it all broke you apart. He was the one who ended it, leaving you shattered.
Your gaze drifts to the window. You wonder where he is now. Is he happy? Did he achieve his dreams? Has he found someone else?
You shake your head and whisper to yourself, “Why am I even thinking about him?”
Pressing your palms to your cheeks, you try to push the thoughts away. It’s your wedding day. You should be focused on Clark, not your ex. You give yourself a light tap on the forehead. “Stop it,” you mutter.
But just as you’re about to take a deep breath, the door to the changing room bursts open with a loud bang.
Startled, you whip your head around, your eyes widening.
“Bucky?!”
There he is, standing in the doorway like he’s just stepped out of a different world. His leather jacket looks completely out of place among the pristine suits and elegant dresses. His dark jeans and worn boots carry the same rugged confidence you remember.
“What are you doing here?” you stammer, rising to your feet, your heart pounding so hard it feels like it might leap out of your chest.
He steps closer, a familiar smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “Isn’t it obvious?” he says, his voice low and teasing. “I’m here to steal the bride.”
Your breath catches, and your mind races. “Huh?” is all you manage to get out.
Before you can process what’s happening, he closes the distance between you. In one swift motion, he grabs you and hoists you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
“Bucky!” you shriek, pounding your fists against his back. “Put me down! Are you insane?!”
He chuckles, his grip firm as he carries you toward the door. “A little, yeah. But you’re not staying here.”
Your bridesmaids are frozen in shock, their mouths agape. One finally breaks the silence with a panicked, “Somebody stop him!”
But no one moves. Maybe it’s the sheer audacity of the moment, or maybe it’s the dangerous confidence in Bucky’s eyes. Either way, you find yourself being carried out of the room, your heart racing in a way that feels strangely familiar.
“Bucky!” you shout again, your voice laced with equal parts anger and panic. “You can’t do this!”
“Oh, I can,” he replies smoothly, “and I am.”
As he strides down the hallway, you struggle to free yourself, but his grip doesn’t falter. Despite the chaos, there’s a part of you—a small, buried part—that feels alive in a way it hasn’t in years.
And that terrifies you.

𝐒𝐮𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧 - 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 •°❀
Masterlist - YouTube (subliminals)
The Sun sign in astrology reveals the heart of your being, representing your soul's journey toward fulfilling its higher purpose. It shines light on your core essence, the inner vitality that fuels your ambitions, creativity, and self-expression. Beyond its connection to identity, the Sun reflects your deepest desires and the path you are meant to take to grow and evolve. It guides you through life’s trials, illuminating the lessons you are here to learn and the ways you can radiate your unique brilliance into the world. Understanding your Sun sign allows you to uncover your spiritual mission, aligning your personal will with the cosmic forces that shape your destiny.
𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐧
The Sun in Aries isn't just about ambition or leadership—it's about initiation and the soul’s need to express its true nature. Aries is where the Sun is exalted, which means it’s in its most powerful state. This placement brings the energy of dynamism and an unyielding drive toward self-expression. But the deeper meaning here is not just about being assertive; it's about discovering your divine mission and stepping into your karmic role without hesitation. In Aries, you are tasked with forging your path as a warrior of the soul, shedding layers of inauthenticity and embracing your primal, unrefined willpower. This is the place where you learn to be unapologetically you, breaking through fears of inadequacy and embracing the raw power of your self-expression.
Through the Houses:
First House: You embody the pure essence of Aries. The fire of the Sun pushes you to develop a strong sense of identity. It's about defining who you are, independent of external influences. Simon "Ghost" Riley and His Poorly Girl 🩹
i have tonsillitis right now and i feel so tired out, i’m purely writing this to make myself feel better
a short one
fluff with 1 sex reference, not proofread
"Baby…" he mumbled, eyes closed, reaching a chunky arm across the bed towards you - but he doesn’t find you next to him.
Instead, you’re sitting in front of the full-length mirror in your shared bedroom, staring at your reflection defeatedly. Only half awake, a warm blanket is wrapped around your shoulders to keep you comfy.
Quietly, trying not to disturb him, you apply your mascara only to accidentally get it in your eye - you try to fix it up, but with your eyes watering it’s hard to see clearly. Soft ruffling from the bed takes your attention, your wet eyes turning to meet Simon’s.
"Come t’bed…" he grumbles, not quite noticing your downtrodden expression, "need y’, c’mere." Seeing Simon in the mornings is funny - his tone a little needier than he’d like to admit, slight grumpy and clingy, always needing to wrap his arms around you and not so subtly rock his hips against your thigh. He just needs to be near you.
"’ve got work," you turn back to the mirror, voice croaky and quiet. Cool air from outside the window seeps into the room, making all your hairs stand up on end. Your fiancé sits up in bed, ruffling his short blonde hair as he wakes up a little. As he moves, the soft bedsheets fall down to his hips, uncovering his warm chest - he’s strong, really strong, but also big, with a little fat cushioning his abs and his strong biceps. An unfairly tempting sight when it’s 6:30am and you have a job to do. :(
"You alright, love?" he places a broad hand behind his head as he stretches.
"Sick," you sniffle, looking a little pathetic in the corner of the room with a blanket wrapped around you and a cup of Lemsip on the floor.
"What the hell are y’working for?" he chuckles, lifting up the bedsheet to let you climb under it, "come t’me, baby." His voice is softer, empathetic - partly, he’s doing it to convince you to come and cuddle, but he’s also doing it because he can see how sickly you are and just wants to make you feel better.
"Can’t…" you whine, removing that mascara so you can just start over. God, makeup is a pain in the ass.
"Y’look like you’re about t’drop dead, you should call in sick."
"Nooo…" you frown, "I don’t want to get in trouble again."
"Hey, here," he sits on the edge of the bed and pats his lap, wrapping his warm arms around you as you sit down on it.
"Mmph…" you mumble, lamenting how easily you slip into his arms. This is only making things harder than they have to be.
"D’you even like that job?"
"Not really."
"I’m not letting you leave this house. Let me look after you," he pats your hip, nuzzling his face into yours.
"But, but-"
"Get in," he orders, almost commanding. All too easily, you give in, rolling under the sheets with him. The little pout on your face is only a surface-level protest, he knows you’re internally rejoicing.
"Poor girl," he coos, wrapping his arms around you and slowly rubbing up and down you back, all the while listening to your little groans.
"Thank you…" you mumble, nuzzling up to him.
"Shhh, you’ll lose yer voice too," he pats your head. "Stay ‘ere, let me go get a hot water bottle."
You wrap your hand around his arm, tugging him back as he tries to get up. On any usual day he would have just chuckled and pulled away from you - you hands don’t even reach all the way around his bicep - but today he leant back down you your level, letting you keep your tight grasp on him.
"You don’t want one?" he holds on to your hand, slowly caressing your knuckles with his thumb.
"Want you," you pout, "please."
"Little weirdo," he grins, climbing back into bed with you and pulling you onto his chest, "whatever you say, Mrs."
Gratefully, you wrap your arms around him and cuddle as close as you can get. God, he feels so warm. <3

You’re hanging out with Buck on the couch on one of the rare days you both have the day off, keeping each other company and talking as the tv plays a documentary about the African Savanna that Buck has been wanting to watch in the background. You’ve been roommates with Buck for almost a year, and with Christopher gone to camp for a few weeks this summer, Eddie couldn’t handle the quiet at his house, so he decided to take the extra room at your place.
You’ve been hooking up with Buck for almost as long as you’ve lived with him, the first time being when you both came home drunk one night. One thing led to another and he had you spread open for him on the kitchen counter, screaming his name loud enough for the entire building to hear, you’re sure of it. You both enjoyed it so much that you both agreed to continue with your odd roommate/relationship situation, hooking up whenever one of you needed to blow off some steam. You both love each other, of course; you’re best friends, but you’ve never talked about your feelings for each other beyond sex, although it seems that neither of you would be opposed to furthering your relationship.
You’re listening to him talk about the migration patterns of spotted hyenas when Eddie comes back from his run, his breaths coming out in short pants and his skin covered in a thin layer of sweat. Your eyes immediately move to Eddie, not even hearing Buck’s words as your eyes study him. Your breath catches in your throat as your eyes train on his biceps, left completely uncovered by his sleeveless workout shirt, and you lick your lips subconsciously.
Eddie gives you both a small smile and a wave as he sees both sets of eyes trained on him, then walks to the fridge to get a drink. Your dazed smile doesn’t go unnoticed by Buck, however, and neither does the way your eyes follow Eddie wherever he moves. He’s seen Eddie looking at you with the same dazed expression when he thinks no one is looking. He smirks to himself, finally putting the pieces together that you both want each other. And he’s happy to set that up.
Once Eddie goes to the bathroom to take a quick shower, Buck turns to you with the same smirk still plastered on his face, then scoots closer to you on the couch.
“So, you still like our, uh, agreement, right?” he asks in a low voice. You furrow your eyebrows, nodding slowly. Where the hell is this coming from?
“Yeah, of course. Why? Do you?” you question, straightening up as you turn your body to face him. Your legs are crossed on the couch, and he moves to mirror your body, sitting cross legged in front of you as he places a hand on your knee.
“Yeah, of course. But,” he starts, looking towards the hallway, making sure Eddie is still in the bathroom. “How would you feel about Eddie joining the equation?”
Your eyes widen at his words, and you feel your cheeks grow hot. How the hell did he figure you out? It’s not like you flirt with him or anything, you keep it strictly friendly, even though you want to do what Buck is suggesting more than anything. You can’t help but let out a quiet surprised laugh, and you tilt your head to the side as you take in his curious, but weirdly devilish expression.
“You’re serious?” you as in disbelief, the smile dropping from your face. He nods, patting your knee twice before he leans back, leaning to the side with his arm on the back of the couch.
“I could talk to him, if you want. See if he’d want that.” he says nonchalantly. He’s seen the way Eddie looks at you, and if you weren’t looking at him the exact same way, too lost in your own head, you would see it too. But Buck has, and he’s determined to get all three of you together at least once.
“Okay.” you say in a soft voice, suddenly feeling a little embarrassed by the idea. Is this actually going to happen? Will Eddie even say yes? You’re not sure, and you know it’ll be extremely awkward if he says no, but Christopher is only at camp for a few more days, so you won’t have to avoid him for long if things don’t go your way.
Buck grins, then gets up from the couch, reaching out to grab your hand and pull you up. He mumbles for you to follow him as he drags you to your room, then goes right to your dresser, starting to root around your drawers.
“What the hell are you doing?” you whisper-yell, crossing your arms over your chest as you watch him. All he’s doing is messing up your folded laundry, and all you can think about is the hassle it’ll be later to refold everything. He smiles as he holds something up, then tosses it to you with a smirk.
“Put this on and wait here. I’ll call you in after I talk to him.” he tells you while you hold up what he threw to you. It’s one of your matching sets, Buck’s favourite, and your eyes widen as they dart back up to meet his gaze.
“We’re doing this now?” He nods, crossing his arms over his chest.
“No time like the present. He’ll love it. Get changed.” is all he says before he leaves the room, not even bothering to close the door on the way out. You sigh, but do as he says silently, trying to make out the muffled conversation you can hear faintly on the other side of the wall. Once you’re finished, you stand in front of the mirror, eyes tracing over your plush body as you turn and pose your body. It’s definitely Buck’s favourite for a reason; it shows off your curves, it goes amazing with your skin tone, and the bra makes your breasts pop out just slightly.
Eddie turns when he hears a knock on his bedroom door, turning just in time to see Buck entering the room. Buck’s eyes travel down his body, smirking as he sees he hasn’t changed yet; he’s still in a towel.
“What’s up, man?” Eddie asks, a little surprised at Buck’s presence. As close as they are, Buck rarely barges into his room like this, especially when he knows he just got out of the shower. Buck doesn’t waste any time with small talk, instead diving right into what’s taking over his mind.
“So, you’ve been staying here for a while. Is everything good?” he starts, crossing his arms over his chest as he leans against the door, his expression going neutral. Eddie raises a brow, his hand instinctively tightening on the towel around his waist. This seems like the beginning of a very awkward conversation; he thinks he’s about to get kicked out, although he can’t imagine why.
“Yeah, of course. It’s great hanging out all the time.” he says unsurely, eyes studying Buck’s expression, his stance, his breathing.
“What about her? You like living with her?” Buck asks nonchalantly. Eddie furrows his brows, frowning slightly.
“Haven’t had any complaints. She’s great.” he says, trying not to give away his true feelings. He knows your relationship with Buck is a little more than friendship; he’s seen the less than innocent touches when you pass each other, and he doesn’t want Buck to be upset with him or anything.
“Yeah? How great?” Buck asks, a smirk replacing his straight face. Eddie tilts his head to the side, confused. If he wasn’t smirking, he’d assume he is jealous, but now he’s not sure.
“What do you mean?” Buck shrugs, taking a step towards Eddie.
“Come on. I’ve seen the way you look at her.” Buck says, chuckling softly as he sees Eddie’s face drop. He didn’t think it was that obvious, and either way, he would never actually do anything about it; not while you’re with Buck, sort of.
“I don’t know what you’re-” is all Eddie can say before Buck cuts him off, raising his hand to silence him.
“She looks at you like that too. You know, I think she’d give you a chance. If you’re okay with sharing?” Buck says with a smirk, closing the distance between them and standing right in front of Eddie. His head looks like it’s about to explode, with surprise, or with lust, Buck’s not sure.
“Sharing?” Eddie asks in disbelief, crossing his arms over his chest as he processes what Buck is alluding to. He’d be lying if he said the idea isn’t tempting, but he’s never done anything like this before, especially not with his best friend.
“Yeah.” is all Buck says, knowing there’s nothing else to say. He’s either in or he’s out, and no further explanation will change his mind, but he hopes it’s a yes. He beams when he sees the slightest nod from Eddie, then turns and opens the door, calling your name. He turns back to Eddie as he hears you padding across the hall, then steps out of the way and puts his arm out, almost as if presenting you to Eddie as you walk into the room in nothing but a lace bra and panties.
“Hi.” you say sheepishly, your hands behind your back as you stand in the doorway. You instantly see the way Eddie’s body tenses, and he inhales a sharp breath as his eyes roam your figure, stopping on the way your tits pop out of your bra.
“Hi, baby. You wanna show Eddie a good time?” Buck asks you with a smile, ducking his head down to meet your gaze. You turn to face him with a small smile, nodding before you look back over at Eddie, not moving for a moment. You want to give him a moment to process, and to say no, if he wants to.
“Go on, baby. He said yes.” Buck urges you gently, putting a hand on the small of your back and giving you a light nudge towards Eddie. You walk up to Eddie slowly, tilting your head up to hold his gaze. Once you’re in front of him, you stand still for a moment, and when he doesn’t make a move away from you, you cup his cheeks with your hands, kissing him softly.
Eddie responds immediately, hands going to your wide hips and pulling you against him, groaning as your soft body makes contact with his slightly damp skin. Your hands travel down to his chest, as one of his moves up to cradle your jaw. He tilts your head up into the kiss, deepening it as you part your lips. He can feel himself getting hard beneath the towel, and he barely even remembers Buck’s watching you two as he pushes you harder against him.
“Why don’t you show him how good you are for me? Show him how good you are with that pretty little mouth.” you hear from behind you, and you break the kiss to look back at Buck. He smiles as he sees Eddie chasing your lips, and his eyes flicker between your puffy lips and Eddie’s as he lets out a satisfied hum.
You waste no time in turning back to Eddie and pulling his towel from his body. Once his towel is discarded you push him back until the backs of his legs hit the bed, and you urge him to lay back on the pillows. Once he’s where you want him, you crawl onto the bed, positioning yourself on all fours. You spit into your palm before you take his hard cock into your hand, pumping him a few times before lowering your head, wrapping your lips around just his leaking tip.
He lets out a sharp breath as your lips make contact with his length, and his eyes move up to Buck’s for a split second before they’re back on you, watching as you lick a firm strip up the underside of his cock. He doesn’t even have time to register Buck walking over to the bed when he glances at him, as his eyes are glued to your pretty lips as you slowly work your way down his length, keeping eye contact with him as you do so.
Once you take all of him into your mouth, trying not to gag as your nose brushes his pubic bone, you feel your panties being ripped down your legs. You hum in surprise, which makes Eddie groan as the vibrations shoot up his spine. He puts a hand on the back of your head as you begin to bob up and down on his impressive length, licking his lips as he looks over your body and to Buck, who’s kneeling behind you, eyes trained on your already dripping core.
You let out a soft whine as you feel Buck’s tongue lick a firm strip across your folds, jolting forward slightly as his tongue dips into your core. You try to focus on your movements on Eddie’s cock, but it’s difficult; Evan is definitely good at what he’s doing, and no matter how many times he’s done this to you, you don’t think you’ll ever get used to how good it feels.
Buck continues to lap at your cunt like a man starved, groaning as he squeezes your thick thighs between his fingertips. It’s almost hard enough to leave bruises, not that either of you mind. You can feel Eddie’s hand on the back of your head as you continue, keeping your eyes on him as you try to take all of him. You resort to using your hand on what you can’t reach with your mouth, trying to take him all into your mouth again every now and then.
“Being so good for him, baby. See Eddie? Isn’t she good?” Buck purrs, pulling back from your core just long enough to make eye contact with Eddie over your plush ass held up in the air. Eddie groans, eyes darting up to Buck’s, his hand still firmly placed on your head.
“God, she’s fucking incredible. So good for us, mi amor.” You moan at his words, speeding up your movements. You’re desperate to taste him, to feel his release in your mouth. You can feel yourself getting close too, but you know that edge in Buck’s voice all too well; you know that he won’t let you cum until Eddie does.
“I’m close, sweetheart. Don’t stop.” Eddie mumbles, fighting the urge to tilt his head back. He wants to burn this image in his brain; your mouth wrapped around him and your tits on display for him, he doesn’t want to look away. He thinks it’s the most attractive thing he’s ever seen.
You keep up your quick pace, humming around his cock, knowing he likes it. You feel him twitch, and you know he’s right on the edge, and you let out a loud, muffled whine as Buck inserts two fingers into your desperate hole, curling up towards the spot that makes you see stars.
Eddie sees the way your eyes roll back, and that’s all it takes for him to fall over the edge, shooting hot ropes of cum into your mouth and down your throat.
You pull back with a loud whine, swallowing his load quickly and sticking your tongue out to show him before your head drops, Buck’s mouth on your cunt becoming overwhelming. Your legs start to shake as Buck uses his tongue on your clit and curls his fingers against your g-spot, and a few moments later, you’re falling over the edge with a loud moan.
“Maybe next time she’ll let you find out how good she tastes.” Evan says in a low tone once he pulls away, his chin glistening with your release. You keep your head down for a moment, trying to catch your breath, and then you feel a sense of giddiness fill your body. You straighten up onto your knees, turning your upper body and grabbing Buck’s face to give him a rough kiss. You both moan as you feel a mix of you and Eddie’s releases on your tongues, and you kiss him with fervor, almost as if thanking him for suggesting this. Of course this is something you’ve thought about before, but you never thought you’d actually experience it.
You break away from the kiss and move towards Eddie again, giving him a small smirk before you straddle his lap, kissing him hard. His hands go to your thighs immediately, his cock already growing hard again as he feels your heat brush against him. You wrap your arms around his neck as you slip your tongue into his mouth, and behind you, Buck is palming himself through his jeans, groaning at the sight of you two.
As you continue to kiss Eddie, Buck moves around to the side of the bed, unhooking your bra and sliding it down your arms. You barely even break apart from Eddie as he does, moving your arms to let Buck work as you focus on Eddie’s lips on yours and his hands squeezing your thick thighs harshly.
Once your bra is off, you waste no time in raising your hips, breaking from the kiss to look down at Eddie with a raised brow. He nods as he licks his lips, looking down with hooded and grabbing his cock, lining it up to your entrance before you sink onto him with a soft whimper. You tilt your head back as you get used to his size, closing your eyes as you grip Eddie's shoulders.
After a moment, your eyes flutter open and you begin to move, looking down at Eddie as you both let out low moans.
You can feel Eddie stretching you out as you start to bounce on his lap, and his hands move to your hips to help guide your movements. His eyes trail down to the way your tits bounce, and the way your tummy jiggles, and he has to focus on not cumming too soon. You take this time to turn your upper body towards Buck, motioning for him to move closer to you.
Once he’s directly beside you, you make quick work of pulling his shirt off his body, and then pulling his pants and boxers down to his knees, allowing his leaking cock to spring free. Your mouth waters at the sight, and you waste no time in lowering your head down, taking him into your mouth. Your hips are still moving on Eddie as you bob up and down on Buck’s length, but Eddie has more or less taken over your movements, moving you exactly the way he wants as your focus shifts.
You’ve gotten to know what Buck likes over the last few months, so it doesn’t take much for his breath to quicken, coming out in ragged, uneven breaths. You hollow your cheeks as you move your head, then swirl your tongue around his tip before you take all of him in your mouth, gagging slightly as you feel him hitting the back of your throat.
“Does that feel good, baby? You like how Eddie’s cock feels?” Buck growls through low grunts, his thumb rubbing your cheek as he watches you. You nod as much as you can, humming softly as you continue to move on him, moaning as Eddie bucks his hips up against yours. This movement allows him to feel impossibly deeper, and you can feel that familiar feeling in your stomach growing as he moves your hips down against his.
“Yeah? Tell him, baby. Tell him how good it feels.” Buck purrs, grabbing the back of your neck and pulling your lips off of him with a soft pop. He misses the warmth of your mouth immediately, but he loves the sight of you bouncing on Eddie’s cock too much to pass up on this opportunity.
“Feels so good, Eds. You feel so good inside me.” you whimper softly, turning your upper body back towards Eddie, bouncing on him with increased fervor as you feel yourself nearing the edge.
“God, mi amor. Keep talking like that and I won’t last long.” he murmurs, eyes trailing down to your core, watching the way you sink onto him so perfectly. You moan, biting your lip as you continue to move, then after a moment you look back over at Evan, who’s fisting his cock quickly, eyes glued on your hips rolling against Eddie’s.
You lower your head back down, using your mouth and your hand on Buck as Eddie takes over the movements of your hips again. Both Eddie and Buck are now watching the way you take Buck, and Eddie bites his lip, trying not to fall over the edge at the sight of you being filled by both of them at the same time.
Before long, you’re all close to the edge, and Buck pulls you off of him again, then pulls you off of Eddie and lays you down on the bed. He has no problem sharing you with Eddie sometimes, but he feels oddly possessive about letting Eddie finish inside of you; that’s a privilege only he’s allowed to have.
“Such a pretty tummy. Would be a shame for it to go unloved.” Buck purrs, moving his hand along his cock again as he looks over at Eddie with a smirk. Eddie groans at the thought, and although he misses the feeling of your warm wet walls around him, he wants to see you painted in his cum almost as much. He moves to kneel on the bed in front of you as you sit up on your elbows, and your eyes dart between both of them as they fist their cocks, desperate to decorate your plush tummy with their seed.
Eddie moves his other hand down to your clit after a moment, still fucking his hand as he circles your clit with two of his fingers. You whimper softly, feeling the ball in your stomach forming again as you try to keep your eyes open and on the sight before you. Your quickened breaths and your high pitched whine as you finally fall over the edge sets both men to follow right after you, white hot cum covering your tummy and dripping down your thighs. They groan at the sight of their mixed releases covering your body, and Buck’s quick to lean down and kiss you softly, cupping one of your cheeks.
“You did so good for us, baby. So pretty.” he whispers against your lips, then leans back to look at Eddie.
“God, can we do that again?” Eddie says, and both you and Buck laugh softly at his words while you all try to catch your breath.
“Maybe in a little bit.” you say softly, looking up at Eddie with a twinkle in your eye. He chuckles quietly, shrugging before he leans down to capture your lips in a gentle kiss. As you kiss Eddie, Buck slips out of the room quietly to grab a damp cloth.
“I’ll wait.” Eddie murmurs to you once he pulls away, leaning back once Buck returns. He watches as Buck wipes off your tummy and thighs, then once you’re cleaned off, you sit up with a smile.
“I’m gonna go shower, if anyone wants to join.” you say in a teasing tone, giggling softly as you see both of them turn to look at each other with smirks.

Alicent Hightower sat stiffly in her chair, her hands gripping the armrests as if they might anchor her against the storm brewing inside her. Her son, Aegon, had just departed after yet another tiresome lecture, leaving her drained but determined. She could not afford to rest—not now, not after what she had uncovered.
The soft knock at the door barely registered before she called, “Enter.”
Gwayne Hightower, her younger brother, stepped inside. His hair was neatly combed, his armor polished to a mirror's shine. The image of a dutiful knight. Yet Alicent’s keen eyes, so much like his own, saw the stiffness in his movements, the way his gaze darted away from hers as he approached.
“You sent for me, sister?” His tone was careful, as if he already suspected the nature of this summons.
“Yes, I did.” Alicent gestured to the seat across from her. “Sit.”
He obeyed, lowering himself into the chair with a knight’s precision, though his posture betrayed unease. Alicent let the silence stretch, her eyes fixed on him with the unyielding intensity of a mother who had caught her child in a lie. Gwayne shifted under her gaze but said nothing.
Finally, she spoke. “Do you know what they are saying about you in the servants’ quarters?”
Gwayne’s brows furrowed, his confusion almost convincing. “No, I do not concern myself with idle gossip.”
“You should,” she replied sharply, her tone like the crack of a whip. “For it is your actions that give them something to gossip about.”
He stiffened, his jaw tightening. “Sister, I have no idea—”
“Do not lie to me, Gwayne,” she interrupted, her voice low and cutting. “I know.”
The color drained from his face, and for a moment, he looked every bit the young boy she had once scolded for stealing candied almonds from the kitchens. But this was no childhood mischief. This was a scandal that could unravel everything.
“I… I do not know what you mean,” he said, though the falter in his voice betrayed him.
Alicent leaned forward, her eyes narrowing. “Do not insult my intelligence, brother. The Red Keep has eyes everywhere. Did you truly think I would not hear of your… indiscretions?”
Gwayne said nothing, his hands gripping the edges of the chair until his knuckles turned white. Alicent pressed on.
“My daughter,” she hissed, her voice trembling with equal parts fury and disbelief. “Your niece, Gwayne. How dare you? How could you?”
He flinched as if struck, his gaze dropping to the floor. “It was not—”
“Not what?” she snapped. “Not intentional? Not serious? Do you take me for a fool?”
“No!” he exclaimed, finally meeting her eyes. “No, Alicent, I would never— It is not as you think.”
“Then tell me,” she demanded, her voice softening but no less dangerous. “Tell me what it is, because I cannot fathom how a sworn knight of my father’s house could betray his vows in such a manner.”
Gwayne exhaled shakily, running a hand through his hair. “I… I did not intend for it to happen. But she is… she is not a child, Alicent. She is a woman grown.”
Alicent’s lips thinned, her nails digging into the armrests. “She is a maiden of seventeen, and your blood, Gwayne. Do not speak of her as if she were some tavern wench.”
“I would never treat her as such!” he protested, his voice rising in indignation. “I care for her—deeply. I would never dishonor her.”
“And yet, you have,” Alicent said coldly. “Do you know what they call her now? What they whisper when they think I cannot hear? They call her ‘Hightower’s harlot.’ Do you think she deserves such cruelty? Do you think she deserves to be tarnished by your selfishness?”
Gwayne’s face contorted in anguish. “I never wanted to hurt her,” he said, his voice breaking. “I love her, Alicent. I love her.”
The queen froze, the words hanging heavy in the air between them. Love. How many times had that word been used as an excuse for folly, for ruin? She had seen its effects firsthand—in her own life, in her children’s lives. And now, here it was again, threatening to destroy everything she had worked so hard to protect.
“Love?” she repeated bitterly. “Do you think love will shield her from the scorn of the court? From the wrath of her father? From the consequences of your actions?”
Gwayne looked as though he wanted to argue, but he held his tongue. Alicent rose from her chair, her skirts rustling as she moved to stand before him. She placed a hand on his shoulder, forcing him to look up at her.
“You must end this,” she said firmly. “Whatever has passed between you, it must stop. For her sake, if not your own.”
He shook his head, his expression pained. “I cannot. Alicent, you do not understand—”
“I understand more than you think,” she interrupted, her voice softening ever so slightly. “I understand what it is to love someone you cannot have. But you must let her go, Gwayne. Before this affair destroys you both.”
He looked at her, his eyes filled with a desperation she had not seen in years. “And if I cannot?”
“Then I will do what I must,” Alicent said, her tone hardening once more. “You may be my brother, but she is my daughter. And I will not allow your foolishness to ruin her.”
For a long moment, neither of them spoke. Finally, Gwayne lowered his head, his shoulders slumping in defeat.
“I will end it,” he said quietly.
Alicent nodded, though her heart ached at the sight of him so broken. “See that you do.”
As Gwayne rose to leave, she called after him. “And Gwayne… if I hear of this again, I will not be so forgiving.”
He paused in the doorway, his back to her. “You will not hear of it again,” he said, his voice heavy with sorrow.
When he was gone, Alicent sank back into her chair, exhaustion washing over her. She closed her eyes, her mind racing with thoughts of what might come next. The damage had already been done, but she would not allow it to spread further. She would protect her daughter, no matter the cost.
The morning was crisp and gray as Gwayne Hightower mounted his horse outside the gates of the Red Keep. The city was just beginning to stir, merchants opening their stalls and beggars shuffling into the streets. His escort of four knights sat astride their mounts, ready to accompany him on the long journey to Oldtown. The weight of his armor felt heavier than usual, though he had forgone the usual green and silver cloak of his house. There was no pride in this departure. This was exile.
He glanced back toward the castle one last time. The Red Keep’s towers loomed high against the sky, their sharp spires reaching toward the heavens like cruel fingers. Somewhere within those walls, you remained, perhaps still weeping from the conversation the night before. He had not meant to hurt you, but obedience to Alicent’s command had left him no choice.
“I love you,” you had whispered, tears streaming down your face, your voice trembling as if the confession itself might shatter you. “Does that mean nothing to you?”
“It means everything,” he had said, his own voice breaking. “And that is why this must end.”
The memory of your anguished cries haunted him now, an echo that refused to fade. He shook his head, trying to rid himself of the vision. It was done. He had done what was required of him, what Alicent had demanded. He would leave for Oldtown, put distance between himself and the court, and pray that time would dull the ache in his chest.
As the gates of King’s Landing receded behind him, Gwayne forced himself to focus on the road ahead. The journey to Oldtown would be long, but perhaps the monotony of travel would offer some solace.
The group had made camp by the time the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the world into hues of deep orange and purple. The crackle of the fire offered the only sound besides the occasional rustle of leaves in the wind. Gwayne sat apart from his men, his gaze fixed on the flames. He had scarcely touched his supper, his appetite stolen by the storm of emotions within him.
“Ser Gwayne,” one of the knights called, breaking the silence. “A rider approaches.”
Gwayne stood, his hand instinctively resting on the hilt of his sword. The rider came quickly, his horse lathered with sweat, and when he dismounted, Gwayne recognized him as a messenger from the Red Keep.
“Ser Gwayne,” the man panted, his face pale with exhaustion. “I bring grave news from King’s Landing.”
Gwayne’s heart sank. “What has happened?”
The messenger hesitated, his eyes flickering to the knights around them. “It would be best if I spoke with you privately, my lord.”
“Speak plainly,” Gwayne commanded, his voice hardening. “What news do you bring?”
The messenger swallowed hard, his hands trembling as he reached into his satchel and produced a scroll. “Princess Y/N… she… she has passed.”
The world seemed to tilt beneath Gwayne’s feet. “What do you mean, passed?” he demanded, his voice rising with desperation. “How?”
“She…” The messenger faltered, unable to meet Gwayne’s gaze. “She flung herself from the battlements of Maegor’s Holdfast. Her body was found on the stones below.”
For a moment, Gwayne could not breathe. The words crashed over him like a wave, drowning him in their weight. His knees buckled, and he stumbled back, catching himself on a tree. The knights exchanged uneasy glances, unsure whether to intervene.
“You lie,” Gwayne said, his voice trembling with rage and disbelief. “She would not… she could not…”
The messenger shook his head, his expression filled with pity. “I am sorry, my lord. The Queen herself confirmed it. She bade me deliver the news to you.”
Gwayne’s vision blurred, his mind racing with a thousand questions. Why? Why would you do such a thing? Had his rejection wounded you so deeply? He had thought his words harsh, yes, but necessary. He had believed that time and distance would heal the pain he had caused. But now… now there was no time. No distance. Only the cruel finality of your absence.
The camp was silent as Gwayne sat by the fire, his head in his hands. His knights kept their distance, whispering amongst themselves but leaving him to his grief. The messenger had departed, leaving behind only the cold reality of his words.
“She is gone,” Gwayne muttered to himself, the words tasting bitter on his tongue. “Gone because of me.”
He thought of your smile, the way your eyes lit up when you spoke of dragons and poetry, of the stolen moments you had shared in the shadowed corridors of the Red Keep. He had loved you, though he had never dared to say it aloud. And now, that love had destroyed you.
The fire crackled, sending sparks into the night sky, and Gwayne’s sorrow turned to anger. Anger at himself for his weakness, at Alicent for her interference, at the world for its cruel injustices.
“This is not justice,” he whispered, his voice shaking. “This is not mercy.”
The next morning, Gwayne rose before dawn, his face haggard and his eyes hollow. He gave orders for the camp to be packed and for the journey to Oldtown to resume. But as his horse trotted along the winding road, his thoughts remained fixed on the Red Keep, on the battlements where you had stood, and on the stones where your life had ended.
In his heart, Gwayne swore an oath. He would not forget you, nor would he forgive those who had forced this tragedy upon you. Not Alicent, not Otto, not even himself.
The journey to Oldtown stretched before him, but the road behind him was littered with ghosts. And he carried the heaviest one in his heart.

𝐇𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐘 — nine: bitter
𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. lee heeseung x fem!reader, park sunghoon x fem!reader
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲. Y/N always knew that her high school was dominated by wealth and privilege. Upon having a one night stand with popular athlete Lee Heeseung, she uncovers that Heeseung's friend group controls not only social dynamics but also school policies and local affairs, revealing a hidden world of power and manipulation behind their so called perfectly polished exteriors
masterlist | previous | next
Heeseung graciously offered to buy you a dress for the gala, saying it was the least he could do since you agreed to accompany him in the first place.
He dropped it off at your house with flowers, a gesture you found yourself smiling too hard at that your cheeks practically hurt.
See you tonight, the small paper inside the flowers said, and you set it in a vase on your dinner table.
The dress he bought was a silky black dress, one that went all the way down to your feet. It was extravagant, and you almost dropped it when you looked at the price tag.
Six hundred fucking dollars.
The dress was shipped from New York in America, so you knew Heeseung wasn’t playing around when it came to Seojun’s gala.
By the time it hits 8pm, you could hear the familiar honk of Heeseung’s Mercedes. You finish your last touch up, pressing a sebum control powder on your face until your skin looked perfect in the mirror.
Then in a rush, you grab your heels, slipping into them and running out to Heeseung’s car.
He smiles when he sees you, leaning over to open the passenger side door.
“You look… pretty.” He says, eyes glancing up and down at your body.
“Thank you for the dress.” You say shyly, suddenly feeling overwhelmed by his stare.
“Seojun told me they already started but we’re really not missing out on anything.” He says reassuringly, adjusting his front rear mirror.
After he’s done, he reverses the car until he’s out your parking lot, speeding away into the night.
“Hee! Glad you made it man,” Seojun throws his arms around Heeseung’s shoulder, an annoying smirk plays on his face. “Aaaand Heeseung’s friend? You’re the one who did the physiology project with him right?”
You’re surprised he remembers you, so you only nod hesitantly.
“Well don’t be shy, tonight’s gonna be a blast.”
As soon as Seojun opens his gigantic doors, you’re greeted with all sorts of guests in expensive dresses and suits, some holding champagne glasses while others make themselves comfortable at the tiny tables Seojun has set all around his living room.
“Park Seojun, you never fail to impress me.” Heeseung says, patting the boy on the back. Seojun responds with a loud cackle, slapping Heeseung back jokingly.
“Make yourself comfortable.” Heeseung whispers in your ear. “I’m going to get us some drinks.”
You nod shyly, watching as Heeseung disappears into the kitchen which was on the other side of the house.
This was the perfect opportunity to sneak up Seojun’s stairs and go into his father’s study. Perhaps there—you could find proof of his manipulation.
You watch as everybody else in the gala is too engrossed in either the music or each other, quietly creeping up the stairs.
Seojun’s house had a long hallway, which felt cold and dark. Above each door was a name of which room belonged to who, and you could see the biggest room in the end of the hallway was Seojun’s father by the way it said PARK HYUNGWOOK’S STUDY.
It was big enough that two large tall wooden doors stood before it. You knew you had to open it quietly to not disrupt the rest of the guests—or even worse—Seojun himself.
You shuffle throughout the cabinets and drawers, trying to find whatever proof you could find yourself on. Your eyes widen when you see the receipts of the most recent transactions to Joseon Internationals, a company that often got into scandals for allegedly using their wealth to get top positions in politics.
Holy shit, Seojun’s dad donated half a million to Joseon Internationals in one week alone?
Your thoughts are quickly interrupted when you hear shuffling from outside the door. In a panic, you rush underneath the large desk, which was thankfully a dark brown color so it hid you perfectly in the dark.
“You showed up with her again?”
Wait a minute—you know that voice.
The doors to the study open, and you can briefly make out two shoes from a crack underneath the desk.
One of them was Heeseung’s shoes.
“I mean, what am I supposed to do here Hanni? You want me to wait around for you forever?”
The girl scoffs, arms crossed. “You’re real classy Heeseung. Does she know you bought the dress for me?”
You almost let out a gasp, knowing exactly what she was referring to.
The black silk dress Heeseung had supposedly bought for you.
“Why does it matter, Hanni? You make it clear every time that it’s not me you want, it’s Sunghoon. Then you get all mad when I’m with Y/N, and question why I’m bitter?”
Hanni scoffs again, foot tapping the floor impatiently. “Whatever, tell Seojun I am leaving.”
You could hear her quickly leave the room by the taps of her heels on the carpet floor of the study.
“Wait—at least let me drive you home.” Heeseung’s voice fades away as he follows her, and you swear your heart breaks all over once again.
You stand up, body still in shock of what you just heard in the room. You take a quick picture of the receipts in Seojun’s father’s study before leaving, tears already falling down your eyes.
“Whoa—Y/N?” The voice of Sunghoon only makes the tears come faster. “Are you okay?”
“Why do you care?” You mutter out, coming to wipe them. “Get out of my way, I’m going home.”
“Good point,” he says. “But I also know that a girl crying like you shouldn’t go home by herself. I’ll drive you.”
“Like I want to be in a car with you.” You mumble, silently grateful when Sunghoon bats the other way.
“You didn’t drink, did you?”
“What? No, of course not.” You quickly say, sniffling.
“Alright, let’s go then.”
Sunghoon helps you in the passenger seat of his car, and you could make out the figure of Danielle sleeping in the back.
“Don’t worry about Dani, I’m just driving her home too.” Sunghoon explains, grabbing a pillow from his trunk and putting Danielle’s head against it.
“I’ll drive you home first.” He says to you.
Although the light hum of the car in the quiet night should’ve comforted you, you only felt worse as the ride wore on.
Because no matter how much it seems like Heeseung actually wants you, his feeling for Hanni never ends, and it makes you end up feeling like shit over and over again.
Sunghoon pulls up to your parking lot, his eyes telling more than his mouth wants to say.
“Oh and Y/N,” he says quietly, clearing his throat.
You turn around, facing him completely.
“I know we may not be the best of friends,” he continues. “But if you need to talk about tonight, I’m here.”
You close the door, choosing not to say anything to Sunghoon.
You just needed to shower and get to bed. Maybe a good night sleep will make everything go away.

okay so idk if you’re taking request cs if ur not im soo sorry but i CRAVEEEE toxic babydaddy chris or matt like imagine yall imagine😔🙌🏾
dilemma - c. sturniolo
in which ... you can't stand chris's new girl in the picture, and you both realize how much you miss each other especially for your daughter. ( baby daddy!chris x black!fem reader )
warnings : angst, toxic!baby daddy!chris, crying, smut, riding, nipple play, unprotected piv ( wrap it freaks ), fluff in the end :3
"𝒏𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊 𝒅𝒐, 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖."
˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗˗ˏˋ
"alaijah baby, i need you to stay still, please!" you pleaded with your daughter, attempting to grip her unruly curls as she brushed her hair softly.
"mama, when daddy coming?" alaijah babbles, a soft smile on her face as she toys with the bottle of hairspray on the bed which keeps causing her to move around.
a lump forms in your throat at the question, but you attempt to give her a tight-lipped smile anyway. "I'm dropping you off my love, remember? we're getting ice cream on the way."
"ice cweam!" alaijah giggles excitedly, causing her to topple over the oil sheen which tumbles off the bed.
you groan and shake your head, losing the grip you had on her ponytail as you bent down to pick up the oil sheen — the thing that annoyed you was the fact that if it was her dad combing her hair, she was obedient with him. she never gave him problems when he was the one doing her hair, and it made you frustrated.
after picking the bottle up and setting it back down on the bed, you opened candy crush saga on your phone and handed it to your one year old girl, who happily took your phone and sat snug in between your legs.
with a satisfied smile, you begin to brush her hair again, thankfully having no more problems — that is, until your phone rings and you look down to see alaijah's dad trying to facetime you.
"daddy!" alaijah shrieks, a huge smile breaking out over her face.
you didn't want to talk to him, but you weren't going to deprive your daughter — so against your better judgement, you swipe up and accept the call.
"lay, hi sweetheart!" chris smiles at his daughter through the screen, and internally making your heart melt.
"daddy! hi!" alaijah giggles, scrunching her nose cutely as she waves at him through the screen, "miss you!"
"i miss you too, angel," chris says, his beam even brighter at the sight of her, "you ready for this weekend?"
"yah!" alaijah nods happily, poking at the phone, "daddy, say hi to mommy!"
rolling your eyes, you try to move yourself out of the camera's lens especially when you see chris's smug smile on the screen. "hi, momma."
you make a stank face at him and continue doing alaijah's hair, but the one year old makes a pouty face at you when she realizes you didn't answer him.
"mommy, daddy said hi!" alaijah presses, causing you to let out a sigh.
"yeah, daddy says hi," chris smirks, and you can feel your cheeks warm up despite the unwillingness of it all.
"yeah, hey," you said sharply, shooting him a glare through the screen as you're now getting started on alaijah's baby hairs.
"c'mon y/n/n, be a little nicer to daddy," chris continues, causing alaijah to giggle and you to groan.
you put your hands over alaijah's ears gauging a confused expression from her. "shut the fuck up, christopher."
chris just laughs and shakes his head as you uncover alaijah's ears, and she continues to look down at the screen excitedly — you continue watching as your daughter and chris talk for a little bit more, and you can't help but smile a few times at the way chris looked at her with so much love and admiration. it makes you wish you two had never broken up, otherwise you would've been a real family.
you pulled up to chris's house and sighed, looking at alaijah in the rearview mirror — she grinned at you excitedly as she seen that you both had arrived at her dad's house.
you quickly get out of the driver's seat of your car and open the back door on that side, unbuckling alaijah from her car seat and picking her up.
"daddy house!" alaijah beams excitedly, as you close the car door and move to the trunk where her overnight bag was.
"yes, are you excited baby?" you ask her with a smile, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek, and she nodded with a giggle.
her overnight bag was on your shoulder and you internally groaned as you made your way towards the front door of his house — alaijah immediately reached out to press the doorbell, and you could feel her excited nerves radiating from her which made you smile at her again.
you almost dropped your daughter from your hands when you saw what opened the door — a blonde woman who looked to be your age, dressed in skimpy ass clothing which had you heated. you could tell she had extensions in her hair, and you scoffed at how cheap they looked.
"can i help you?" she snarks with an attitude, a hand on her hip as she gives you a once over.
"i know damn well this bitch is not..." you scoff, shaking your head, then looking back up at her, "girl, i'm here to drop off his daughter. who the fuck is you?"
"i'm his girlfriend," she says, boastful smirk on her face, and your heart drops and your face visibly hardens at this.
"did i ask, hoe?" you say to her, taking a step closer causing her to step back slightly, "get the fuck out my way before-"
"what's going on?" chris's voice suddenly comes, causing your blood to boil. damn, he looked so fine.
"you better check your bitch before i do," you say to him, causing the blonde girl to narrow her eyes at you as chris pushes her to the side.
"daddy!" alaijah says excitedly, reaching her arms out for him.
"hi baby!" chris coos to his daughter, taking her from your arms as he brings her close to him, "i missed you!"
you watch the sweet interaction with a yearning heart, but you seeth when you see the way the blonde girl looks at him with just as much adoration as you do — chris looks between both of you with an amused expression, and you could just give him a right hook right now.
"look, my daughter's here, can you both not come for each other?" chris says with raised eyebrows.
you fully turn to face him now, crossing your arms over your chest. he takes your figure up and down unashamedly, and you try to keep yourself from smirking as you realize you still had that effect on him. "that broad better not go nowhere near my baby, christopher."
"still using that full name on me?" chris scoffs with an amused smile, shaking his head. "i'll see you sunday night, alright?"
you quickly leaned up towards alaijah to press a kiss to her cheek, caressing it as she smiled at you. "i'll see you soon baby, okay? have fun."
"bye mommy, i love you!" alaijah tells you.
"i love you more."
without waiting for anyone to say anything else, you make your way towards your car, giving your hips a little extra sway as you knew chris would be drooling as he watched you walk away. you were proven right when you went to get in your car and chris had definitely been watching after you. you smirked as the blonde girl gave him a look of disbelief at the action, and you drove away, still feeling angry upon seeing her in the first place.
sunday night couldn't have come fast enough — you were bored and somewhat lonely without the comfort of your daughter with you, but you were able to run a few errands.
chris texted you and told you he would drop alaijah back off at your house, and you scoffed and only replied with an "ok." you knew it would piss him off, but how could he be the one upset?
soon, a familiar engine lowly rumbled outside of your house and you felt somewhat nervous because you knew it was chris. you heard the car door open then close, and footsteps slowly approach your porch until a knock on the door sounded.
almost too quickly you answered, and your heart warmed at the sight of chris holding your daughter in his arms tightly, her head laid on his neck with her eyes closed.
"she's asleep," chris said, swiping at his nose then nodding towards her, "can i go lay her down?"
you nodded wordlessly, stepping aside so that chris could walk in with her. he knows your house like that back of his hand ( nevermind the fact he used to live there with you! ) — he makes his way to your room, but you don't follow him.
instead, you cross your arms and sit at a barstool at your kitchen table, tapping her fingers along your arm as you wait the treacherous minutes it takes for your ex boyfriend to say his goodbyes to his daughter.
he emerges from your used to be shared room and grins at you, causing you to narrow your eyes at him. "what the fuck are you looking at?"
"i know you're still mad, y/n," chris shrugs nonchalantly, taking slow deliberate steps towards you.
"boy what are you talking about?" you say with a roll of your eyes, crossing her arms tighter on your chest.
"you're mad about lexi," chris says, egging it on, as he knows you're seething right now.
"oh, so the bitch got a name now, too?" you say, scoffing and shaking your head.
"you mad cause i'm fucking another bitch?" chris smirks, and you whip your head up at him at this remark.
without any warning, you stand up and quickly walk over to chris, yanking him by the arm and pulling him towards the couch in the living room — she shoves the man back on it, immediately going to straddle him as he looks up at her with a smirk and an amusement in his eyes.
"y'know lay's asleep, right?" chris tsks, rubbing the sides of her bare thighs which caused goosebumps to raise on her skin.
"then you better shut the fuck up," you say.
you smashed your lips onto chris's, having been craving this feeling again for so long — his hands immediately went to grope your ass which prompted a gasp to leave your lips and chris to slip his tongue inside your mouth.
you grinded down against his hard on, which you felt poking through his jeans as it so desperately wanted to be free. never breaking eye contact with him, you lifted your his shirt above your head and threw it behind you, and chris went to unclip your bra causing your perfectly round breasts to spill out.
"fuck, i missed seeing your pretty tits, ma," chris groans, immediately attaching his lips to your left tit whilst he massages the other.
"mhm chris," you breathe out, throwing your head back as he switches, giving attention to the other tit.
you grind down on him again, making the both of you moan at the contact. "pull your pants down."
you get up and take your shorts off, also giving chris enough time to slip out of his jeans and boxers, revealing his large, veiny cock which already leaked with precum — your mouth salivates at the sight.
you pull down your panties revealing your wet cunt, to which chris lets out a groan and strokes himself, but you narrow your eyes at him and smack his hand away, going to hover over his cock.
your hands find their way to chris's shoulders, latching onto them as you slowly sink yourself onto him, pulling a moan from the both of you.
"fuck, you're so big!" you whine, the stretch burning being that you haven't felt him inside you in a long time.
"so tight baby," chris groans in your ear, guiding you with his hands.
once he's fully inside you, you begin to move back and forth on his cock, the veins in his hands now prominent with the grip he held on your sides. "fuck baby, just like that!"
"you feel so good, oh my gosh," you moan out, throwing your head as you pick up your rhythm, bouncing up and down on his cock.
chris meets you halfway, thrusting up into you pulling multiple whines from you as he hits your sweet spot over and over again.
"fucking me so good ma, i missed your pussy," chris moans, leaving sloppy kisses to your neck.
"m'close, christopher," you moan out, keeping your steady pace.
"yeah?" chris groans in your ear, "come on baby, let go fa me."
it doesn't take you long before your orgasm comes crashing through you, your juices spilling over chris's cock and a loud moan of his name falls past your lips.
this sends him over the edge too, and hot spurts of his seed spill inside of you, mixing your juices together. he helps both of you ride out your orgasm, then you quickly get off of him to catch your breath.
he pulls you back towards him and shoves a finger inside your pussy to keep his cum in there, eliciting a gasp from you as you look at him with disbelief whilst he grins at you.
"what the fuck?" you gasp out.
"need my seed inside you, so you know who's yours," chris grins at you.
he takes his finger out then stands up, grabbing your hand and leading you towards the bathroom — he wordlessly grabs a towel and wets it, and you can feel tears from in your eyes as he does so.
none of this meant it was going to last long — he was going right back to the same boyfriend he was before, which was the ultimate reason you broke up in the first place. but you couldn't help the way you still loved him.
"please don't cry," chris says, breaking you out of the trance you didn't realize you were in.
"why shouldn't i, chris?" you sniffle, as he wipes your legs delicately, "it's not like we're getting back together."
chris could feel his heart break at the words you said, causing him to hang his head — it was his fault, and he couldn't believe he'd ever let someone like you go. he was so scared of fucking up, that he fucked up the best thing that ever happened to him.
"i miss you," you admit.
"i missed you even more, y/n," chris says, lifting your chin so that you could see in his eyes. and for once, there was a trace of sincerity in those blue depths. "i can't believe i broke our family up like this. i fucked up really bad, baby. but i want us to be a family."
"you mean that, baby?" you look up at him with a smile, and he wipes the tears away from your eyes, nodding.
"of course, ma. i love you so much."
he leans down and places a kiss to your lips — but this time it was sweet, but yearning. he missed both of his girls, and he was glad he had them back.
after cleaning you up chris grabs your hand again and leads you towards the bedroom, where alaijah is sound asleep in the middle of where you both used to lay.
you climb on side and chris on the other, and as if sensing the presence of her dad, alaijah moves towards chris like a magnetic touch, and he puts his arm around his daughter looking down at her with nothing but love and admiration.
you smile at him with your head propped up on the pillow, and he looks at you — he affectionately taps your nose, causing you to giggle as you take his hand, placing a soft kiss to it.
"goodnight, baby," you tell him, and he leans in to place another kiss to your lips.
"goodnight, my love," chris says back.
you get under the covers with them, moving close towards alaijah in the process to wrap your own arm around the girl, too — chris places another sweet kiss to both of your foreheads, finally at peace knowing he was with his number one girls again.

Left to right. First row.
1. The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions by Larry Mitchell.
In a joyous and perverse intermingling of fable, myth, heterotopian vision, and pocket wisdom, The Faggots & Their Friends tell us stories of the 70s gay countercultures and offer us strategies and wisdom for our own time living Between Revolutions. These pages sketch a different shape to time and offer instructions for living within it. This story, like our own, plays out in liminal time. Not the time of revolution, and not after-the-revolution, the story occurs between revolutions. Being between revolutions: being enmeshed in slow entropy, in abandoned spaces, in lives forged without recourse to “winning” or “after.” The faggots feel this disintegration, and live best when empires are falling.
2. Be Gay, Do Crime by The Mary Nardini Gang.
Among the discordant chorus of anons who penned the defining texts of the queer anarchist network Bash Back!, none was more fervent in its glorification of criminal desire, decadent hedonism, and social undoing than the Milwaulkee-based Mary Nardini Gang. Their fiery “Towards the Queerest Insurrection” still circulates as an integral manifesto of riotous queerness, while the “Criminal Intimacy” and “Whore Theory” have made their more subterranean way into innumerable conversations and correspondences.
Ten years later, the secretive group supplements these collected writings with a subtle retrospective. Carefully unlocking the hidden layers of their theses on insurrection, they face up to what they got wrong, concede that the world ended somewhere between the Greek insurrection of 2008 and now, and insist upon the vital task of ushering new worlds into being as we live amid the decomposition and cataclysmic death throes of the old one. To their theses on insurrection, they prepend a new arcana tooled for opening onto the queerest of outsides.
Dedicated to their friends among the dead, this pocket edition is a necromantic mirror, an encrypted message to old loves, and an invitation to those finding these words for the first time.
3. The Criminal Child by Jean Genet.
“As for me, I have chosen: I will be on the side of crime. And I will help the children, not to win back access to your houses, your factories, your schools, your laws, and sacraments, but to destroy them.”
So reads this new clandestine translation of a previously censored and unavailable text by Jean Genet. “The Criminal Child” is a critical engagement with the French youth prisons, a reflection on Genet’s formative years within them, a document of hostility towards society and its benevolent reformers, and – as argued by the anonymous afterword – an initiatory magical system.
5. Witchcraft and the Gay Counterculture by Arthur Evans.
This radical faerie classic, first published in 1978 by Fag Rag Press, uncovers the hidden mythic link between homosexuality and paganism in an elegy for the world of sex and magic vanquished by Christian civilization. From Joan of Arc to the Cathars and the underground worshippers of Diana, the author shows how every upwelling of gender transgression and sexual freedom was targeted by the authorities for total and often violent repression or appropriation. The concluding manifesto calls for pagan reconnection with the living world, the creation of armed anarchist cells, and the destruction of industrial civilization.
Left to right. Row 2.
1. What is Gender Nihilism? A Reader.
A collection gathering readings for discussions on an end to gender: not the proliferation or liberation of gender, but its catastrophic cancellation. The reader brings together writings as old as 1883 and as recent as 2015, juxtaposing nihilist, radical feminist, queer, trans, anticolonial, communizing and insurrectionary approaches with other unclassifiable textual/existential disruptions. Many of the readings are out of print or have only appeared online or in zine form, and include: Adrienne Rich, Monique Wittig, Michel Foucault, Judith Butler, A.R. Stone, Paul B. Preciado, the entities known as Radicalesbians, Gender Mutiny, Baedan, Ehn Nothing, Laboria Cuboniks and, as always, Anonymous. Also includes “My Preferred Gender Pronoun is Negation,” “Gender Nihilism” by Aidan Rowe, and the gender nihilism anti-manifesto that inspired the collection.
2. Baedan 1 – journal of queer nihilism.
3. Baedan 2 – a queer journal of heresy.
If the first issue of Baedan was a knife thrust wildly in the dark, the second is an effort to examine our enemies in a new light; enemies who bear scars yet endure. In a sense, this issue follows through our initial attack and pushes beyond our own horrors at the consequences of words. We write at a time when everything which seemed slightly possible two years ago has borne its rotten fruit; when queer recuperation has become more powerful and accepted than ever, while the fetish for technology has reached an unprecedented frenzy; when so many efforts at subversion languish under the tyranny of cybernetic identity and aesthetics (even our own etymologies have become identities!); when friends turn away out of fear of the unknown, turn toward all the comforts and certainties of the past (identity politics, traditionalism, religious morality, activism, et al). The old enemies rear their heads and the terrain is as bleak as ever. And yet we take seriously that adage: “There’s no need to fear or hope, but only to look for new weapons.”
4. Baedan 3 – journal of queer time travel.
Bædan: journal of queer time travel marks a further attempt to pose and to flesh out a queer critique of civilization. Queer not only in the sense of coming from those outside and disruptive of the Family, but also in the sense of a critique weirder than its more orthodox cousins. We imagine the Bædan project as an effort to pose the critique of civilization otherwise, to begin from another place. In this issue (and beyond…) we have conjured a strange bestiary of thinking, trying to unearth and trace the tradition of anti-civilization thought in the literature of queerness and in queerness as immanent critique.

The One I was Meant to Find
Batmom x Batman, Batmom x Batfamily
Prompt: While digging through the attic, Dick Grayson and Jason Todd uncover a secret about their adoptive mother. A secret that reveals the true, and dark story of the most loved couple in Gotham City
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Masterlist
!!DISCLAIMER!! - This likely won't be comic accurate (Obviously), but I did draw inspiration from the comics. If you are looking for something accurate, then this fanfic isn't for you.
You can swallow fire, you've practically flown through the hair....You've performed in front of millions from age eighteen. You felt like you could handle anything the world threw at you....
Until you entered the Upper district of Gotham City a week after being taken in by Bruce Wayne. The part of the city full of the most lavish, and expensive stores. So many name brands that you only ever dreamed of wearing. Not even Haly himself could afford such luxuries, and he owned the circus. Bruce insisted that he bring you to this part of the city to shop for your new wardrobe. He planned on buying outfits, dresses, shoes, jewelry, perfumes, and anything else you could never need. You tried to convince him to just take you to a thrift shop or some random outlet, but he only looked at you as if you spat on his shoes.
So here you were, standing in front of a store that you had no business being in. Little did you know, you would be walking into these stores as if you were walking through your home in the future. All in due time...
Bruce enjoyed a cheap glass of champagne while you were given dress after dress to wear. Since your method of employment was no longer safe, he planned on hiring you as his assistant until you were safe to find your own career path. You stepped out in a dark blue dress that fit a little big on you, "Bruce, you really don't have to do this...I mean a thousand dollars for a dress? I'm sure we can find something similar for a cheaper price." You said while holding the price tag. He frowned, standing up from his seat. He walked over to you and inspected the price tag for himself.
He turned you around so you were facing the mirror, "I think it looks wonderful on you." Bruce said with a smile. He moved your hair to the side so he could zip up the rest of the dress and rested his hand on your hip. You both decided to put off the facade of being a couple while in public. Subtle touches like this were going to happen, but he didn't go too far with it, "I could buy this entire store if I wanted to." He whispered into your ear. A shiver went down your spine, and you bit your lip softly. You knew Bruce Wayne was rich, but just how rich was he? Obviously he was rich enough to keep up his lifestyle as Batman. You turned around, not realizing just how close the two of you were.
Have you ever had that feeling? That feeling that you were looking at someone you knew? As if you'd been with them a thousand life times. That's what you felt when you looked into his eyes. It was as if your souls found each other once again. You knew the theory of the multiverse from one of the clowns in the circus, he loved conspiracy. The thought of you and Bruce being together in different universes made you giggle a bit, "What's so funny?" He asked, his hand still resting on your waist.
"Nothing at all, Mr. Wayne." Bruce rolled his eyes then back away from you. You only called him that to be a tease. You two often found yourselves teasing one another. Which is why Alfred was very happy to have the both of you out of the house...so he can be free of the thick tension for a few hours. Now you were walking downstairs to the batcave, dressed in one of your new nightgowns. Tonight was one of those nights where you felt unsafe. Truly, you never felt safe. You knew there were eyes on you outside of Wayne Manor. The only place you felt safe was right by Bruce's side...or Batman's at this time of night.
"You should be asleep." Batman said as he typed away on the batcomputer. It made you think of the night he rescued you, "You have a busy day tomorrow, and I'm sure your boss wouldn't be happy with you being tardy." He joked then turned to look at you. He could tell instantly that you were scared. He understood the fear. After his parents were murdered, he would be up all night in fear of their murderer coming back to finish him off. Living life having to constantly look over your shoulder was no life to live. Without a word, he stood up while removing his cape. The surprisingly light material was draped over your shoulders to keep you warm. He wasn't going to make you leave. If you felt safe around him, then you could stay. Still in silence, you sat down on a stool next to a table lined with gadgets. You hadn't the faintest clue of what any of them were, but they looked very dangerous.
Was it strange? That you could picture your life like this? By his side, helping him on his quest for Justice. The Manor already felt like home. More so than the circus ever did. That feeling came back again. The one where you felt as if you've been through this before. As if every choice you've ever made led to this very moment. Led you to Bruce.
"Do you believe in soulmates?"
"No."
Your mouth formed an O shape and you awkwardly nodded. That might have been a question for Bruce Wayne not Batman. You learned quickly that the two were vastly different people. Bruce almost felt like the mask while Batman was truly who he was. Sometimes you saw a mix of the two...which you favored.
"Y/N. I'm not someone you can love. My life and what I do will only bring you more danger, you will never live the happy life you deserve to live. I can never make you happy, and can never give myself to you fully. I'm sorry."
Being rejected before the first move was ever made never felt good. You felt your heart shatter at the same time that your eyes began to water, "R-Right...I was dumb to ever think otherwise." You said while sliding down from the stool, "Goodnight...Batman." You whispered and swiftly left the batcave, passing Alfred who instantly noticed the tears falling from your eyes. He could only shake his head as he made his way down the stone steps.
"Lying to yourself and to her will only make it worse, Master Wayne." Alfred said as he set down a fresh cup of tea next to Batman. Nothing was ever openly spoken, but it was obvious that Bruce and Batman both had feelings for you. Everything about you just drove him insane. He never believed in soulmates until he met you. He never thought that there could be anyone in this world made for him. Yet there you were, and it terrified him. How could he ever keep you safe? Once his enemies knew of you, you were going to be the target. The Court was already going after you, but he had so many more that would love to watch him hurt. He knew if he let himself care for you, it would only end with him losing you.
And he couldn't lose you....

Spooky Queer Books
Since spooky season is starting, I thought I would share a list of my favourite queer books that are great for this time of year.

It Came from the Closet: Queer Reflections on Horror
Joe Vallese
Horror movies hold a complicated space in the hearts of the queer community: historically misogynist, and often homo- and transphobic, the genre has also been inadvertently feminist and open to subversive readings. Common tropes--such as the circumspect and resilient "final girl," body possession, costumed villains, secret identities, and things that lurk in the closet--spark moments of eerie familiarity and affective connection. Still, viewers often remain tasked with reading themselves into beloved films, seeking out characters and set pieces that speak to, mirror, and parallel the unique ways queerness encounters the world. It Came from the Closet features twenty-five essays by writers speaking to this relationship, through connections both empowering and oppressive. From Carmen Maria Machado on Jennifer's Body, Jude Ellison S. Doyle on In My Skin, Addie Tsai on Dead Ringers, and many more, these conversations convey the rich reciprocity between queerness and horror.
Into the Drowning Deep
Mira Grant
The ocean is home to many myths, But some are deadly... Seven years ago the Atargatis set off on a voyage to the Mariana Trench to film a mockumentary bringing to life ancient sea creatures of legend. It was lost at sea with all hands. Some have called it a hoax; others have called it a tragedy. Now a new crew has been assembled. But this time they're not out to entertain. Some seek to validate their life's work. Some seek the greatest hunt of all. Some seek the truth. But for the ambitious young scientist Victoria Stewart this is a voyage to uncover the fate of the sister she lost. Whatever the truth may be, it will only be found below the waves. But the secrets of the deep come with a price.
The Devouring Gray
C. L. Herman
After her sister's death, seventeen-year-old Violet Saunders finds herself dragged to Four Paths, New York. Violet may be a newcomer, but she soon learns her mother isn't: They belong to one of the revered founding families of the town, where stone bells hang above every doorway and danger lurks in the depths of the woods. Justin Hawthorne's bloodline has protected Four Paths for generations from the Gray--a lifeless dimension that imprisons a brutal monster. After Justin fails to inherit his family's powers, his mother is determined to keep this humiliation a secret. But Justin can't let go of the future he was promised and the town he swore to protect. Ever since Harper Carlisle lost her hand to an accident that left her stranded in the Gray for days, she has vowed revenge on the person who abandoned her: Justin Hawthorne. There are ripples of dissent in Four Paths, and Harper seizes an opportunity to take down the Hawthornes and change her destiny--to what extent, even she doesn't yet know. The Gray is growing stronger every day, and its victims are piling up. When Violet accidentally unleashes the monster, all three must band together with the other Founders to unearth the dark truths behind their families' abilities...before the Gray devours them all.
Tell Me I'm Worthless
Alison Rumfitt
Three years ago, Alice spent one night in an abandoned house with her friends, Ila and Hannah. Since then, Alice's life has spiraled. She lives a haunted existence, selling videos of herself for money, going to parties she hates, drinking herself to sleep. Memories of that night torment Alice, but when Ila asks her to return to the House, to go past the KEEP OUT sign and over the sick earth where teenagers dare each other to venture, Alice knows she must go. Together, Alice and Ila must face the horrors that happened there, must pull themselves apart from the inside out, put their differences aside, and try to rescue Hannah, whom the House has chosen to make its own. Cutting, disruptive, and darkly funny, Tell Me I'm Worthless is a vital work of trans fiction that examines the devastating effects of trauma and how fascism makes us destroy ourselves and each other.
