Baneful Usages for Pokemon Spirits
This post isn't written from experience, but rather mostly theory, so it might not actually work in practice. This also isn't exhaustive, just me thinking of possible usages.
I wrote this from my own POV on baneful magic, hence all the "enemy" talk. That's what I use baneful magic for. It's not the only valid form, though.
Feel free to reblog and add your own additions! Take your favorite Pokemon and find a way to make them baneful.
Alakazam can make your enemy feel like a fool.
Annihilape can be used to strike down your foes and keep them down.
Arbok can make your enemy ill with their venom.
Basculegion can be used as a vessel for angry spirits to strike down those corrupt in power or public enemies.
Cramorant can be called upon to make your enemy choke on their own words and actions.
Cubone can increase grief and grieving for lost loved ones.
Deino can lead your enemy to feel blinded and lost.
Dhelmise can lead your enemy to feel like they're drowning in their own negativity.
Eevee can lead your enemy to be confused about themself and their identity.
Froslass can lead for them to get "stuck" as who they are, preventing self-growth and growth in skills.
Hypno can haunt your enemy's dreams and inflict nightmares. Hypno can also cause them to behave in ways they wouldn't normally.
Joltik can haunt people who are terrified of spiders.
Kommo-o can make sure your enemy never has a moment of auditory peace.
Litwick can lead your enemies astray while draining them in the process. Might be good to keep on someone who likes using baneful magic on you drained magically so they can't perform more spells on you.
Mawile can sabotage your enemy's life from behind them.
Murkrow can bring great misfortune upon your enemy. Conversely, Honchkrow can be used to make sure your enemy's crimes and sins are never forgotten.
Ninetails can help you control your enemies to keep them from harming you further.
Noctowl can keep your enemies up at night, causing insomnia.
Pikachu can overload their electronic devices, causing them to break.
Polteageist can lead your enemy to get food poisoning.
Slowpoke can make your enemy exhausted.
Sudowoodo can make your enemy feel unseen as their true self.
Tinkaton can generally ruin your enemy's life.
Tsareena can just kick the shit out of your enemy and lead them to become physically injured.
Zoroark can serve as a trickster spirit to mess with your enemy.
Zubat can serve as general annoyance.
#I love Zubat by the way very very much by the way they are not an annoyance to me#pokemon magic#pokemon witchcraft#pop culture witchcraft#pop culture paganism

DA:TV - Pokémon edition
Inspired by @velvet-apricots , here’s my take on the Veilguard companions (+ my MW!Rook) Pokémon lineup.
Plus a little background info.
Taash
Garchomp
Gyarados: “Had Bubba since she was a magikarp, mom got her because she wanted me to learn about patience and responsibility. People like to say she’s no dragon, but I think she’s one for sure.”
Magcargo: “Mags is a little shy, don’t mess with him.”
Slaking
Camerupt
Davrin
Scrafty
Hariyama
Metacross
Shiny Growlithe: “This is Assan, the grey wardens have been breeding shiny Growlithes for generations. He is one of the 12 left in the world. We don’t know if there are more shiny growlithes like Assan and his siblings out there.”
Quilava: “Maika will burn any darkspawn in sight. She’s vicious and keeps Assan on his toes.”
Bellara
Luxray: “Lux was Cyrian’s but he started following me after he passed away. It’s great that Lux keeps me company. I can always feel Cyrain’s presence around Lux.”
Ampharos
Pikachu
Togedemaru: “I found Toad near some ruins in the forest! Cute isn’t she? Oh don’t touch her belly, she will zap you really hard.”
Tinkaton
Lucanis
Scizor
Greninja: “Matteo has been with me since I was a child, he’s been training with me all my life. Spite upsets him quite a bit but I think we are making some progress.”
Gallade
Gallarian Farfetch’d: “His name is Poro, why does an assassin have a bird holding a leek for a Pokémon? Why not? He has a good eye for produce and our targets.”
Medicham
Neve
Hatterene
Eiscue
Weavile: “Hal called about a Weavile causing some trouble, turns out all Ted wanted was some fish. He makes a pretty good partner.”
Froslass
Alolan Ninetails: “I rescued Princess from poachers who were trying to sell her off to the Venatori. Alolan Vulpixes are prized for their white coat. Safe to say I could not bear to part with her ever since. Aren’t you my little princess, yes you are!”
Emmrich
Sylveon: “Ribbons belonged to my mother, he evolved after we were reunited on my parents’ first death anniversary. I had to beg Vorgoth to let me take him.”
Shiny Sableeye: “This is Manfred. I found him scourging through my bag at camp during an expedition in the deeper parts of the necropolis. Turns out he was interested in the gemstone attached to the artifact we were retrieving. Curious little fella this one!”
Dusclops
Mismagius
Chandelure
Harding
Probopass
Cradily
Serperior
Butterfree: “I used to be afraid of bugs, but Puffs really helped me work out my fears.”
Paldean Clodsire: “I found Butters in a swamp near Ma’s home! There were these woopers I used to secretly feed leftovers to and one day Butter’s decided to come home with me! He’s a lot bigger now, but he’s still lil old Butters to me.”
Rook (Lenore Ingellvar)
Gengar: “Hans has been with me since he was ghastly. The other watchers said they found him hovering around me as a baby. He’s harmless. For most part.”
Cubone which evolved into Alolan marowak in Rivain: “Ghost was found next to a couple of dead Charizards out in Cumberland when I was there on a haunting investigation. It took him 4 months to begin trusting me, but we have been close ever since. Ghost really likes the beach and has been begging to go ever since we went to Rivain and I never expected him to evolve! Our journey really has brought us even closer.”
Dragapault
Mawile
Lucario
Fun fact:
Ghost did not like Emmrich at the beginning. He would cockblock Emmrich at any given moment, slapping down his bone near Emmrich’s foot whenever he stepped too close to Lenore. Ghost warmed up when Emmrich fixed his favourite bone stick after a particularly bad run in with the Venatori.
Hans knew Emmrich before Lenore did as Hans loved to fly around the Necropolis playing tricks on other Watchers. Emmrich used to bribe Hans with sugar cubes.

Punch Out x Pokemon crossover headcannons!
Gift for my bestie @vampirtulpe , lover of both Punch Out and Pokemon. In this crossover AU, all the boxers are actually trainers who all go to the same stadium to battle, train, and raise pokemon. Each trainer fights with 4 pokemon, unless your Mr. Sandman (aka the champion in this AU)

Little Mac 🇺🇲🥊🟢
- Traveling trainer (ash ketchum wannabe) from Unova
- Strict, but not as strict as Mr. Sandman when training his pokemon
- Team consists of Hitmonchan, Raichu, Cinderace, and a Riolu he hatched thnx to Doc. The ultimate main character team
- Doc travels with him and basically acts like Brock
Glass Joe 🇫🇷 🥐
- Kalos (aka best region!!! No I don't take criticism :33) inhabitant
- Very soft when it comes to training pokemon... dude will spoil his pokemon rotten and wonder why they aren't powerhouses
- Team consists of Dachsbun, Slurpuff, Glaceon, Magikarp, and a baby Goomy he never let's fight.
- Very close to the Dachsbun... his uncle, Gabby Jay owned it as a Fidough, and Joe adopted it when Gabby died (he didn't die to Nick in this AU, but rather of a heart attack-)
- Squimish about seeing cute pokemon fight; would much rather be a pokemon performer
Von Kaiser 🇩🇪🔩
- Owns his own pokemon gym that specializes in steel types. It's only accessible to younger trainers
- Used to be a good trainer in his youth, but slowly got outclassed
- Originated in uhhhh Sinnoh (game freak German region when???)
- Team consists of Klinklang, Ambipom, Chingling, and Probopass.
- Caught Chingling very recently, mistakenly thinking it was a steel type. He keeps it for emotional support
Disco Kid 🇺🇲 🕺
- Travelling trainer from Unova, but he lacks the main character energy
- Invented "pokecise," a trainer-pokemon type of exercise that's supposed to strengthen a bond... or whatever lol.
- Sometimes does double battles with Heike Kagero, and overall prefers double battles.
- Speed specialist
- Team consists of all four Oricorio forms... and a Mime Jr. he doesn't battle with
- He uses the Mime Jr. to use Teeter Dance on random people for shits and giggles.
King Hippo 🏝 🦛
- Rumored to be from Alola
- May or may not he a mutated pokemon... if you throw a poke ball at him, he'll go inside of it.
- Team consists of Alolan Exeguttor, Ludicolo, Slowking, and of course, Hippowdon.
- Doesn't grunt or growl in this AU. Rather, he says the word "Hippo" over and over again.
Piston Hondo 🇯🇵🥊
- Classic Kanto boy
- He IS that guy from the Saffron dojo who gifts you either a Hitmonchan or a Hitmonlee
- Is constantly pushing the other trainers (boxers), especially Joe, to train harder every single day.
- His team consists of Ninetails, Farfetch'd, Curly Tatsugiri, and Scizor
- Traded Joe the eevee that would evolve into his Glaceon for an unhappy scyther Joe couldn't train
Bear Hugger 🇨🇦 🐻
- Uhhh Johto native (NO CANADA REGION GRRR)
- Adores pokemon, especially baby pokemon. He's got a knack for breeding
- Spends all day training in the woods and on routes
- Scares unsuspecting travelling trainers at night
- Team consists of Greedant, Stantler, Obamba snow :], and Ursaring
- Had a pachirisu at some point, but it got poached and died by an evil pokemon team
- Bonus: if Lomasi (me OC) was in this AU, her team would consist of Staraptor, Sunflora, Beautifly, and Xatu.
Great Tiger 🇮🇳 🐅
- No India region sooooo idk maybe Alola trainer
- Wants to be a psychic trainer very badly
- Has yet to be indoctrinated into the psychic trainer mental circle
- Hates medicham with a burning passion (I'm projecting ehehe-)
- Team consists of Espeon, Persian, Delcatty, and Incineroar
- Rivalry with Hondo
- Yeah he loves cat pokemon... sadly that takes priority over catching psychic pokemon
Don Flamenco 🇪🇸 🥀
- Wants to be a dancing, agile-type trainer like Disco Kid, and ended up being better than him
- Adores pokemon contests
- From Paldea, and has basically traveled all over the region
- Team consists of Roserade, Bellosom, Luvdisc, and Quaquaval.
- Caught a Greavard during his emo phase
- Bonus, since vamp ✨️ adores ✨️ my version of Carmen... her team consists of Sylveon, Lopunny, Bruxish, and Arbok... if yall know, yall know.
Aran Ryan 🇮🇪 😈
- Rumored to have been a Team Yell member
- Has fought pokemon with his bare hands before, and he'll do it again
- From Northern Galar
- No real ambition, just likes terrorizing people with his pokemon
- Team consists of Zoroark, Obstagoon, Scrafty, Skuntank, and a family Wooloo he inherited and doesn't let fight
- That Wooloo is just as fearsome as the rest of his team
Soda Popinski 🇷🇺 🍾
- (NO RUSSIA REGION REEE) He's from Sinnoh, specifically snowpoint
- Has beaten the snowpoint gym leader multiple times, but he was gatekept from becoming an ice gym leader because of his intimidating height drinking issues
- Stupidly tall, but baby pokemon are naturally attracted to him
- Was almost bribed into d0ping his pokemon... thankfully in this AU, he doesn't do that.
- Team consists of Polteageist, Walrein, Spinda, and Beartic
- He captured the Spinda and the Sinistea when he was drunk one time
Bald Bull 🇹🇷 🐂
- From Paldea, specifically Alfornada city
- Definitely likes pokemon more than people
- Doesn't necessarily like battling super hard because it triggers his anger
- Once killed an evil team member
- Team consists of Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros, Boufalant, Darmanitan, and Primeape
- That primeape doesn't take well after Bull...
Super Macho Man 🇺🇸 🌊
- Native Alolan resident (he's not white in this AU)
- Ex-water gym leader of Alola; got fired after a certain tantrum he had as an actor
- Well known poke-actor
- ALWAYS trains his pokemon by the beach
- Team consists of Palafin, Poliwrath, Alolan Raichu, and Mantine
- He owns a LOT more water pokemon than what I listed lol
Mr. Sandman 💤 🟢
- Champion of the WVBA league
- Undeafeated
- Is also the manager of said league... he bosses over the other trainers and what they do
- Is the paul-trainer (Pokemon are objects to make me win) type
- As a champion, he's allowed to have 6 pokemon
- Only WVBA trainer that does hyper training
- Team consists of Machamp, Musharna, Sandaconda, Dusknoir, Pyroar, and Annihilape.
- First pokemon he got was Machop... that's the pokemon he's closest too.
Bonus! Here's Dragon Chan (bc I said so) 🇨🇳🐉
- Traveling dragon master
- Not a permanent member of the WVBA trainers, but he visits often
- Very hyper active, tall dude... his pokemon share his hyper active-ness
- Adores challenging random people to battles
- His goal is to become a professional dragon pokemon tamer
- Team consists of Hydrapple, Hitmonlee, Blaziken, and a timid Dragonair
- Also carries around an egg containing a Bagon
Yw vampir, Ily bestie !!!! Thnx for being an awesome rp partner <3

If you had a pokemon team irl what would be your team + why? :3
ignoring region stuff shhhh this is a magical place where all pokemon of any regions are + screw it anyone can have a legendary
oooh this is an interesting question, half my brain is going ‘minmax meta tournament legal’ and the other half is ‘hehe little guys :3’ this might turn into a little rant (^.^) (i’m not even done yet and it already did (~_~;))
zoroark - this pokémon is the only reason i beat ultra necrozma in ultra sun&moon that fight is fucking BRUTAL, 8 y/o me got pummeled. i didn’t do the cheese strat that u can w/ that fight (having zoroark disguise into a mon weak to psychic so necrozma spams its psychic move, doesn’t do anything cus dark type, free win) i just remember being on zoroark as my last pokémon and for some reason necrozma just wouldn’t stop spamming its psychic move?? like i wasn’t disguised or anything so it should’ve known i was dark type and not done that im probably just misremembering tbh
mimikyu - but specifically the giant totem mimikyu you get in ultra sun&moon for collecting enough of the totem stickers. there is no tactical advantage to this, it has the same stats (as far as i’m aware) i just like giant mimikyu
sylveon - a classic, possibly my first ever eeveelution since x&y was my first game but i can’t remember. cute guy, and fairy is also pretty strong (iirc) so overall a good pick
tinkaton - haven’t actually ever used this mon (i’ll get around to violet someday) but Little Guy + Big Hammer is a v good trope.
groudon- despite never playing ruby&sapphire i have a history with groudon that makes me like it more than other legendaries. it was the first legend i caught in ultra sun&moons postgame, and let me sweep through stuff like the battle tree and champion rechallenges. it also hits like a truck
alohlan raichu - i love this design!! the tail surfboard is super cute, and the fact that it canonically loves pancakes and that they might be the cause of it’s evolution is amazing. also psychic + electric is great typing and they’ve literally only used it on this one pokémon, they need to make more for me personally
some honorable mentions: absol, galvantula, lunala, primarina, decidueye, serperior, alohlan ninetails, pyukumuku, espeon, and umbreon

This.. honestly feels weird to ask, but can ninetails sort of reincarnate into a new vulpix?
My family's ninetails (very sweet old lady, been around for years) had recently passed due to health complications, and her passing has really affected me. A few days ago, a young vulpix (definitely old enough to be away from mom) had approached me and just seemed to act like how Tana used to. The vulpix, who I ended up catching because I was a bit too worried about her safety when she approached me (thought she was too habituated with people), is just reminding me so much of Tana, and she seemed so.. familiar with everything in the house on day one.
Again, this feels weird to ask, but some part of me is hoping that this vulpix is Tana, but reborn as a new vulpix.
unfortunately reincarnation isn't a very widely understood or studied topic. we know of ghost types born of restless spirits or rising from graves...there's also the legend of the great beasts of johto being brought back to life by ho-oh, but that's more...resurrection, i guess?
i guess what i can tell you is that, from a scientific perspective...then there's almost certainly no relationship between tana and your new vulpix. she seems to just be overall a very confident pokemon, judging by her lack of fear of people, and that would explain why she seems so comfortable in your house.
but, if you're the kind of person who believes in a higher power, and the thought of you coming across this vulpix after losing tana and seeing it as a sign of her brings you comfort, i don't think there's any harm in that. the new vulpix may not be tana, but something about you drew this vulpix to you- and if that brings back good memories of tana, then i think it's ok to find joy in that.

Earlier you said a Vulpix made a decent pet, but what about Ninetails?

[Since you mentioned it, I’ll go ahead and include a link to the vulpix post at the bottom as well!]
Unfortunately, I really can’t recommend a ninetales as a pet for a variety of reasons. They sure are majestic, but they are certainly best left in the wild to be observed, rather than kept.
To start, keeping a ninetales in your home wouldn’t be very easy. Sure, a three and a half feet tall is not necessarily too big for many homes (we’ve had equally tall pokémon earn A ranks, after all!), but there’s an added wrinkle brought about by ninetales’ luxurious tails. The pokédex claims that ninetales are an exceptionally vengeful species: grabbing one of their tails could result in a 1000-year curse (Red/Blue)! 1000 years! If you were to incur such a curse, you’ll not only be taking it on yourself, but on your descendants and family as well, for generations (Ultra Sun)! Just look at those tails: could anyone honestly tell me that they could keep a pet with such volumous tails in an enclosed space without them or any of their guests ever pulling or stepping on their ninetales’ tails? It’s a strong indication that this species might not be the best to keep in a human home. That being said, these are remarkably intelligent pokémon, so much so that it has been reported that they can understand human speech (Red/Blue, Sapphire). In the case of an accident, you can always apologize to them and hope they understand. Given their known vindictive and even sinister nature, I wouldn’t take the risk of a misinterpretation (Ruby, Ultra Sun). 1000-year curse!!
Speaking of 1000 years: this species is said to live for that long (Silver, Crystal)! This is a pet that you would have no choice but to pass down to someone else when you die, sort of like a real-world tortoise. It goes without saying that that would be rather inconvenient for a lot of owners. This is a pokémon with a rather curious nature as a result of their equally curious origin: it is claimed in legend that ninetales are the result of groups of 9 noble saints joining together and being reincarnated (Yellow). Whether or not this mythic origin is true or not, it certainly would explain the species’ downright supernatural power. Each of a ninetales’ tails are charged up with different types of mystical energy over time (Gold. Silver, Crystal), which give them the ability to make use of truly devastating attacks.
When you look at ninetales’ move pool, it should be pretty clear why this is a risky creature to take in as a pet. Ninetales can use a barrage of potentially lethal fire-type moves such as Fire Blast, Incinerate, and Inferno. Ninetales may not even need to generate their own fire: it’s said that their mystical abilities give them command over fire in general (Moon)! This species is a veritable fire hazard on legs. Other, non-fire type moves like Confuse Ray and Extrasensory make use of other energies to disorient and harm targets. You definitely don’t want a ninetales mad at you. These pokémon don’t even need to harm you physically to cause problems: using a “sinister light” emitted from their fiery eyes and mouth, ninetales can stun or even control the minds of enemies and prey (Ruby, Ultra Moon). This is an exceptionally dangerous predator we’re talking about.
Overall, I can’t in any semblance of good conscience recommend a ninetales as a pet. These mystical, elegant creatures are a delight to observe in the wild, but bringing them into the home welcomes in so great a risk that you’re more likely to end up worse than better for having them around.

I realized I’ve never talked about this before, but I wanted to share with you guys some of my favorite Pokemon! I’ll be doing them by region, so let’s start with Kanto!
Bulbasaur is my favorite Kanto starter, so of course I like Venasaur a lot. I like when Pokemon are just big creatures, which is exactly what Venasaur is.
Alolan Raichu is one of my favorite regional forms, hands down. From the moment I saw this little guy, I immediately loved him and wanted him in my party. Plus electric and psychic? Good combo!
Another great regional form. I could care less about regular Ninetails, but I adore Alolan Ninetails. I love how majestic it looks here.
My love for Vileplume is recent. I don’t know why I like it so much, but I do! Look at his silly hat!!!

This is kinda a two-for-one, but Galarian Rapidash and Ponyta are great too. Like I said for Ninetails, I don’t care about their Kanto forms, but I adore their looks in Galar. Plus, fairy is my favorite type!

I know some people like Vaporeon in a weird way, but I’m not one of those people. I like Eevee a lot, as well as most of its evolutions. And cats. I also really like cats.
I don’t care for normal Articuno, but I really like Galarian Articuno. The purple was a good choice, along with its eye mask and long flowing tail.
Again, I actually kinda hate original Moltres, but Galarian Moltres is amazing. Mostly from a design standpoint. I love the pinks and blacks on him. Some verrrry good choices were made here.
And lastly for Kanto, Dratini. I don’t care for Dragonite that much, and I wished it had stayed as blue and elegant as Dratini. The wings and beads are what make this look.

Just doing some calculations with Ninja Registration Numbers right now and Konoha is either demilitarizing or the combined devastation of the 3rd Great Shinobi War and the Ninetails attack killed like 75% of their forces.
#not the yearly graduation average dropping from 188 to less than 30 in 21 years#and then the Konoha Crush rolls around and kills like 50% again#does anybody need to know how fucking lethal the wars were? now you do!#naruto#naruto miscellaneous#naruto analysis#ninja registration numbers

with new pokemon game, wanting to ask: what are some of your favorite pokemon? do you a gen preference? type preference? are there pokemon you like aesthetically but dont like their movesets? any type of designs that you just dont like?
You've fallen into my arena trap cause yeah I have so many feelings about all of this.
Favorites: I'm kind of a stereotypical girl with these BUT. Vaporeon, both forms of Vulpix/Ninetails, Gardevoir, and Flygon
Honorable mentions not shown: Abomasnow, Noivern, Whimiscott
Generation preference: for me that tends to be gens 3, 4, and 5. Most of my favorites are from there and they also feature some of my favorite games. I can't comment on competitive balance cause I've literally never cared. Too much of the competitive scene is trying to read your opponent while sharing 50%+ of your teams.
This was also a great set of generations for side games imo. There was a battle game for the Wii that has content people *still* talk about. The Mystery Dungeon series was during gens 3 and 4 iirc. The Pokemon Ranger games came out during the DS era of gen 4 and I loved those. I never played it but Gale of Darkness has this cult following. Game was SUPER loved by edgelord kids (and also features Lugia one of my most useless faves).
Type preference: You may think it's ice types but those bitches always show up so fucking late in the game and I get really attached to my early game teams. I tend to pick up water types, grass types, and psychic types when I play. It's hard to sell me on fire types, fighting types, and rock types. They tend to have designs that I think are good but not my aesthetic.
Pokemon I like aesthetically but don't like the movesets: Yeag Whimsicott my beloved. They're a TERRIBLE attacker and since I play the single player games I really don't have need for a setup mon. Anything that can't just blast through the enemies is just not something I'll end up using alskdfjsldkfj. Sadly.
I also tend to prefer pokemon that can learn multiple types for coverage rather than using pokemon of different types for that. It's not as good an idea but ehhhhhhhhhh. It works.
Designs I don't like: Ok so before I say this. I need to clarify. I am NOT an early gen purist. I think earlier gens have plenty of bad designs.
However.
I think Gen 9/PSV has been real fuckin bad design wise. Not all of them are bad but there are *so* many that I think just...aren't pokemon designs. People can defend the tinkaton line all they want but I don't get it. That's a digimon and the hammer doesn't add anything to it as an animal thing in the setting. Palafin can perish I hate it. Why are the legendaries so desperate to have motorcycle elements when being dragons of the future and past are more interesting. Ceruledge and Armarouge are perfectly fine designs. For something else. I think they're bad pokemon. Too mega man for me.
Why do the future paradox pokemon kinda suck. Especially with how creative the designs of the past paradox pokemon are.
Sawk and Thro are also. Really bad. In my opinion.
I tend to just not like designs that have like...they don't care to be a living part of the world? If that makes sense? Like the ceruledge/armarouge duo don't feel like possessed armor or creatures that evolved to look strangely like knights.
Also if they're just. Ugly. In a design way not in a "oh it's a little ugly guy" way. Things are allowed to be ugly little dudes but why is the design bad ugly. Why do Sawk and Thro exist.

Intro post
Uh, hello? To be completely honest I never expected to gain a following on here, but nevertheless I should introduce myself.
Hello! I'm Faust and I run the Zenger city gym in the Goram region. No worries if you've never heard of the place, most people haven't and we like it that way.
My specialty lies with fairy type pokemon. I also have a doctorate in history and folklore (not just of my home region, though I hold it close to my heart) and I'm more than happy to answer any questions you wonderful people may have regarding my work as a gym leader or as a historian.
Though I have not had personal experience with every pokemon across the world I'd be happy to help with any concerns I can. though please keep in mind that I am NOT a pokemon doctor or other healthcare professional. I have been wrong before, do not take my word as gospel.
If you're ever in the Goram region and wish to challenge me or stop by for a spot of tea, feel free to do so. I do enjoy meeting new people.
General description of my battle team:
Skittles - Slyveon, surrendered by previous trainer, little menace /pos
Boreas - Ninetails, wild caught, prone to causing hailstorms indoors
Halocene - Hatterenne, captive bred, legally my therapy pokemon.
Morrigan - Rapidash, pedigre breeding, a literal showpony
Meringue - Alcremie, showed up one day, likes baking a lot
Zefir - Togekiss, found as an egg, fellow chronic fatigue sufferer
Non-battling pokemon:
Mimi - Mimikyu, wild caught, prone to panicking, likes scrapbooking
Sweetgrass - Venosaur, starter pokemon, living out his retirement
Dokkaebi - Tinkaton, surrendered by previous trainer, chews on stuff
Hexen - Kirlia, gift from a colleague, great help in coralling others
Pelipper mail is open and encouraged! Let's have a chat, maybe you'll find some tea in your mailbox in turn.
Thank you for reading, and an even larger thank you to those who've interacted with me on the site. Rotomblr is an odd place, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
//OOC PS: Hi!!!! Blog rule: don't be a dick. otherwise, have fun! Bigots fuck off, op is trans. The Goram region is based off of my home country Hungary, many of the details and locations mentioned as a part of Goram are a reflection of real life places as I've always loved the idea of a region based here, but since that's most likely not gonna happen and I am not good at coding, this is a compromise. I'm fine with interacting with all types of pkmn irl blogs, since Faust as a character is very interested in the concept of the multiverse. Magic anons are allowed for now, might change later if things get overwhelming. The charcter of Faust is in his late 20s to early 30s, while I myself am 20. this however does not mean that I'm open to flirtatious compliments or the like, please refrain from doing so. However, making fun of Faust for being an absolutely swagless boykisser is allowed for comedy's sake.

Me, 95% of the time: Minato ♥️
Me, the other 5%: Oh yeah, it’s soooo great that you get idolized for the decision to seal the ninetails in your kid, while Naruto, the one who actually has to live with your decision to essentially be sacrificed to save the village’s ungrateful ass, is despised for it 🙄 because his mother was treated soooo well for being a jinchuuriki 🙄 and the Third totally isn’t known for being passive in the face of kids being mistreated (cough why the fuck wasn’t Danzo jailed for his illegal child army cough) 🙄 and I’m sure you left behind a great support system for your kid in the inevitability of your death (since being hokage means high assassination attempt rates) 🙄 I’m sure it would’ve been a complete surprise to you that he wasn’t treated well after being orphaned 🙄🙄🙄
#I understand he had limited options#but also#I feel like he could’ve prepared for his kid’s safety better#I love him most of the time#but also. he needs just one (1) punch to the face#minato namikaze#naruto uzumaki#naruto

MCD POKEMON TEAMS PART 2
Travis, Lucinda, and Zoey. I also do this based off vibes and everyone gets some form of mythical/legendary for spice
The vibes were solitary mountain magician. So far one of the most solid teams. Dark and Ice
Absol - Forewarns of danger but is constantly mistrusted. Much like Travis.
Zoroark - A shape shifting pokemon, hint to Travis not being solidly formed.
Alolan Ninetails - Beautiful Ice fox that could have belonged to his mom
Galarian Darmanitan - Kind of just a fun little guy. He needs a guy
Weavil - It will cut a bitch, and Travis needs one of those
Darkrai - It causes nightmares and is a connection to the demon warlock
Ghost and Psychic types babyyyyyyyy!!!!! Just feels the most witchy
Hatterene - THE cunty witch pokemon! She serves!
Frosglass - A pokemon that lure people to their death and is a reference to Lucinda's ice witch period.
Gothitelle - A goth baddie! Just as Lucinda would have wanted
Mismagius - A beautiful but gothier witch pokemon. The original witch pokemon.
Gourgeist - A ginger pumpkin pokemon, her mini me
Cresselia - I think she is beautiful. Meant to represent the moon and ties with her experience with werewolves
Very elven healer but with the adage of "I could fuck you up if I really wanted." Grass/Fairy types
Gardevoir - Gardevoir is one of the stronger pokemons with the highest amount of empathy, just like Zoey
Meganium - A pretty flower with great healing moves
Audino - Technically a normal type but is also associated with healing
Lilligant - Pretty flower lady
Sylveon - Nice pokemon with the ability to sense feelings, will also fuck you up.
Celebi - The time traveling pokemon meant to correlate with the fact that Zoey was the one to free Aphmau and her gang from the Irene dimension.

The Blood of Youth x Pokémon Ideas
Sikong Qianluo: unintentionally leans towards using bug types and flying types, but really just cares about how stabby they are. Beedrill, Escavalier, and Fearow could all suit her style. Moltres could represent her role as the Vermillion Bird.
Tang Lian: poison type specialist. Despite this, his ace is a Meowscarada who also uses a flower trick to take down foes. Ariados can lay traps with webs and Nidorino uses its needles to poison opponents. He has an Accelgor from when he helped Qianluo evolve her Escavalier. Torterra, Terrapagos, or Drednaw could represent his role as the Black Tortoise.
Jin Xian (Jade Deity): experienced with fighting, steel, and ice type Pokémon. Cobalion and Gallade suit him well aesthetically, conceptually, and personality-wise. Articuno could go well with his Blizzard Sword. He could probably have a Lucario, too. (Was thinking about Alolan Ninetales at one point, but that may be more suitable for Li Hanyi. Honestly, Jin Xian and Li Hanyi do have quite a few similarities, especially with them both connected to Kunlun Mountain.)
Jin Yan: ghost and dark specialist. Sableye and Gengar bring the chaos and the fun. Tyranitar could be nice for him, but it might be too heavy of a hitter for him to handle. Other possibilities include Liepard (which would be a great match aesthetically) and maybe Grimmsnarl.
Jin Xuan: probably favors psychic types, but has no obvious specialization. He uses a formidable Gardevoir and Dusknoir to protect the Emperor. His secret ace is the legendary ice dragon Kyurem, cold and empty as the Art of Detachment he practices. All his Pokémon would probably be shiny.
Jin Yu: favors bug types and normal types, but doesn’t appear to be interested in battling. He has a connection with butterflies in the novel that’s subtly referenced in the show and his palm technique is warm, so Volcarona could be a good ace for him. An Icy Snow Pattern Vivillon as a gift from Jin Xian could be a sweet way to represent their friendship. Indeedee could be a great match for him in terms of abilities and temperament. I also like the idea of him having an Absol that was abused/neglected by his late master, because Zhuo Qing doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would treat his Pokémon well, and the foreshadowing nature of Absol would almost be poetic.
Jin Wei: specializes in ghost and steel types. His sword is a bit more exciting in other mediums and is very ghostly, so Aegislash would be an amazing fit. He could also have an Alolan Marowak that he raised since it was a Cubone, and possibly a Spiritomb. As more of a ceremonial sword, Zacian could be under Jin Wei’s watch.
Lei Wujie: fire type specialist. Personality-wise, Growlithe would be a great fit and he could probably start out on his journey with it. Darmanitan could suit him well, since it also fights with fire and fists. Mega Charizard X could represent the Azure Dragon role that he has. Feucoco is no thoughts, head empty, cute and on fire.
Li Hanyi: ice specialist. Has a terrifyingly strong Chien-Pao, as well as a Glaceon and Alolan Ninetails who help keep out unwanted guests to their mountain.

If you're still doing the service mon ask thing, what about both forms of Vulpix?
Despite being the same species, the regions they come from have drastically changed their abilities in public service.
Kantonian Vulpix and Ninetails have always been a bit mystical and spiritual.
Their ability to sense emotions and mystical presences have made them great partners for researchers who wish to investigate the paranormal.
While they can be much more feral in the wild, they have worked alongside humans and have a deep understanding of how they feel that they are great therapy pokemon, especially for children in bad situations.
They have the ability to sense intentions and have such a deep understanding that they know how to comfort and confront humans directly, so a lot of therapists might use Kantonian Vulpix and Ninetails to help their clients.
Alolan Vulpix and Ninetails, while still having experience with humans, are a bit more withdrawn from them but have been reintroducing themselves recently.
While they can comfortably make temperatures much better in warmer times, too much heat is bad for them, so they don't have a super high range of locations to roam, however they are terrific around the house as a type of good luck charm and repellent.
Their freezing ability is good, while not as powerful as other ice types, is secondary for their ability to ward off unwanted pokemon, as their snow and powder can last much longer like sand, which is due to their fairy trying enhancing it.
This weird fairy snow repels negativity and unwanted pokemon while also keeping grass and plants lasting longer and the house much cooler.
It's like a mystical permafrost for repelling troublemakers and bad moods.
