I was curious and had time on my hands so I decided to count all the times characters in the Riordanverse cursed. I always see people talking about how much Percy definitely cusses a lot since he's a New Yorker, so I wanted to see how he compared to the rest of the cast. I included all mentions of a named character cursing, even if it's just something like “Oh, Styx” if the narrator specifically calls it a curse. This is almost definitely not 100% accurate and was just a fun pastime, please don't judge me if I incorrectly counted the amount of times a character swears 😂

Title: Alternate Universe - When Takeo Masaki Gets Sick

In this unique AU, Takeo Masaki, the honorable and disciplined Japanese warrior, falls ill with a cold. Tank Dempsey steps up to care for him, showcasing a softer side of the American soldier.

Amidst the zombie-killing chaos, a much-needed break is taken, and Takeo's voice is dry and pained as he rests. Andrea Dempsey, the formidable warrior with a mysterious connection to Tank, arrives with a group including Nero Blackstone, Jessica Rose, Jack Vincent, and Floyd Campbell.

Takeo is often seen lying down, struggling with his sickness. Shifts are organized to care for him, with some characters covering night shifts and others taking on day shifts. As Takeo's condition worsens, he is on the verge of vomiting, requiring constant attention.

Dressed in a white kimono top with sleeves, white shorts, and white socks, Takeo's appearance is subdued. His usually active and disciplined demeanor is replaced by lethargy, and he rarely moves or changes his position.

This AU delves into the unique dynamics between the characters as they rally together to support their ailing comrade. Tank Dempsey's nurturing side comes to the forefront, while Andrea Dempsey's mysterious connection adds an intriguing layer to the story. Amidst the dire circumstances and zombie threats, the group's unity and care for Takeo shine through.
