Ino couldn't have felt happier in her life right now. She and her husband Neji just found out she was pregnant. To say there were butterflies in her stomach would be an understatement. She was to the moon about the news. She was going to be a mother. If only her father could see her now...

She could see him grinning proudly that his little girl was having his grandchild. Probably cracking a few jokes at Neji's expense too. He was such a funny man. Still, his memory will always be a part of her, even now as a woman.

Of course she told her circle of friends once she was able to. Sakura couldn't stop hugging her dear friend. Karin and Tenten shared their love for her and congratulated her. Once Hinata was told, she wanted to have all the women together and to celebrate. Hinata was just as excited about the news as Ino was. It made sense since they were in laws now but they both were so happy about the news.

When she told Shikamaru and Choji, they too were happy for their friend and teammate, treating her like the sister she was to them. Last of all people was her mother. She cried tears of joy as she hugged Ino, which made her cry a little as well. It was such an intimate affair, and now she has a new life inside her.

She couldn't wait to be a mother.

A headcannon of Ino having to deal with Neji's clan (the two of them being a couple). It would be messy, since Ino is the head of a clan as important as the Hyuga and has no patience for prejudices and old traditions. I bet she and Hiashi would hate each other guts. Jajaja Lots of hugs, Nico.

Headcannons of Ino dealing with Neji’s Clan

When Ino was first introduced to the Hyuga clan as Neji’s s/o, she tried her best to make a good impression. She was relatively stressed about the encounter. She made sure her outfit was respectable and on-point. She did her makeup and did her hair. She wanted to look her best because sometimes she focuses a lot of her appearance to help feign her confidence when she’s nervous.

She’s very polite and full of manners when she engages with them and comes to the compound. She’ll keep her opinions to herself for the most part. She would be there to get along and not cause trouble since she has no idea how the Hyuga clan runs. She’s all smiles and for the most part, the impression she leaves is bubbly and friendly to most the branch members, but to the elders and main branch they find her pleasant but will assume mistakenly that she might be an air-head.

Although Ino appears confident, she’s a bit freaking out on the inside since the Hyuga clan doesn’t show much expression. She has gotten use to reading Neji’s subtle expressions, but she still has a hard time discerning those who don’t wear their emotions on their sleeve. Hardly any of the Elders or Hiashi cracked a smile at her. After the event, she will ask Neji if he thinks they liked her. Neji will assure her, she has nothing to worry about but he wont hide the truth from her if he does happen to know their opinion of her.

The Hyuga clan is okay with the union of Neji and Ino coming together because of Ino being the head of the Yamanaka clan. They see it as a good alliance that doesn’t dilute the family’s main bloodline since Neji is a branch member. They will see it as advantageous but with the expansion of their bloodline to outside clans comes the discussion of their offspring.

There will probably be negotiations that if the child from the two of them has the byakugan, they will want that child to be subject to the curse seal. Ino objects when she hears the news, finding it absurd but if she wants to be with Neji, she’ll have to agree. The reason being, they have “control” over Neji’s life.

Ino’s refusal and loud objections will cause many of the Hyuga clan to have a distaste for her when their opinion of her was neutral. Neji is very quiet during the negotiations. He doesn’t want his child subject to the curse seal either but the matter is out of his hands until a new clan head comes about and the elders can agree. This will also causes conflict in the relationship between Neji and Ino.

The Hyuga clan will keep Neji busy with assignments and have him subject to long missions if there is refusal to compromise with their condition for their union. They will try to keep Neji from seeing Ino as much as they can by keeping him busy. Without any other options and for the love she has for Neji, Ino will concede but not without having a list of her conditions they have to agree to. Then she will hope that her babies will come without the byakugan.

So am I a Sasuino fan? Yes. Am I a ShikaIno fan? Yes. Am I a NejiIno fan? Yes. Am I a GaaIno fan? Am I a KakaIno fan? Yes. Am I a NaruIno fan? Yes. Am I KibaIno fan? Yes. Am I a ItaIno fan? Yes. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I Ship Ino Yamanaka with practically everyone including sakuino even tho I think Ino deserves better. I'm pro Ino Yamanaka all the way.

What do you think about Neji x Ino? Never thought about them together, but then I read some fanfics with Neji/Ino and it was so tragic and beautiful, I fell in love with them❤

Hi there! 

I think I read... maybe one fic about them? And wasn’t that much into the pairing, perhaps I didn’t read the right fic -most of the pairings I enjoy in Naruto are a product of a great fanfiction that got me hooked to them (forgive me, god, because I like ItaIno and I don’t have an actual reason other than I’m human and I like pretty things and Itachi while a bastard is freaking gorgeous and Ino... well, need I say it?). I’m not usually a multi-shipper, I do enjoy some ShikaIno works as well, but usually, I like Ino with Itachi and that’s it (which means I can enjoy a total of 5 fics and most of them write Itachi quite OOC -dammit-, lmao).

About Neji and Sasuke, I really, really like to think of them as close comrades. I usually think of Sasuke as an asexual/demisexual character, and while I don’t often think of Neji, when I do, is usually on the same terms. So I can see a friendship built in between them given their similar backgrounds. It would be a really silent relationship tho, which is hilarious.
