6. Nashville Predators - Emma Barrie’s IG story (thank you @thepassionthatunitesusall for telling me where to find them)

It’s hard to tell what they are made out of but I think it’s fake leather which i don’t like

I do like that they are cream, not white, and that they are embroidered not ironed on patches or graphic t-shirt emblazing

I think these might be my favourite patches quality wise

Overall they are really classic and look comfy but aren’t very original so LA beats them

7. New York Rangers - 1. wagsofrangerstown IG, 2. natoriner23 on tiktok 

 For the first game the WAGs and kids all came in jerseys which is considered a bit of a taboo in the NHL WAG world (idk go watch Lexi’s videos on it) and since they had tons of time to plan this, it felt like a powermove and the full group photos of it are super cute (i love when the babies match)

Also Key’s mom has a jacket and if they have mom/family jackets I will scream, that is so cute

For the jacket itself, this is the only picture of it I’ve seen so idk what the front look like but the back is fine?

I like signatures a lot, they are always cute, but painted, cropped, baggy pleather isn’t interesting and they could have done so much more

8. Washington Capitals - Madison Aube Kubel’s IG

I didn't get great screenshots of this so go to her page if you want to see more

I absolutely hated these when I first saw, thought they were going to be giant pleather monstrosities but then I saw Madison Aube Kubel’s reel of her making her own since she forgot to submit her order on time and they grew on me

They seem like they are made out of a satiny/normal bomber jacket material

This is my favourite of the caps logos and I am glad they used it and the back looks good but I don’t like the giant numbers on the front, you know they are super stiff and you can’t sit down while it is buttoned up without it looking really weird

I don’t love it, I don’t hate it, I just wouldn’t design it

9. Edmonton Oilers - Lauren Kyle’s IG

As previously stated, I don’t like minimalism so they lose a few points, but these really strongly give bad bitch, cool unrealistic tv motorcycle gang

I’m 99% sure they are real leather since they are stiffer and in some close ups you could see skin texture (if it wasn’t obvious I really like real leather)

I like that it is actual stitching, instead of being painted

One personal really big pet peeve is that the c in McDavid should be lowercase

10. Florida Panthers - 1. floridapantherswags IG, found the other on tiktok a few days ago

According to God (Lexi) they have matching pants (seen partially on the right) with the number one of the back pockets, most of the women in the group photo aren’t wearing them so like do they not like their own outfits??

I really like the stitching detail on the back but not having the last name be in that giant open space on their shoulders looks really awkward so they should have put the name there (since they aren’t who they are with since they have numbers) or removed the line of white stitching and made everything else bigger

I also don’t like a baggy jacket if it’s meant to be paired with jeans where the detail is on the butt, like if they were committing to the pants they should have cropped it

I think if they wanted to keep the pants and no last name they should have made vests instead of jackets since the sleeves aren’t doing much

11. Colorado Avalanche -Sussanna Ranta’s IG story

This is the only picture of these that I have seen and they really just look like jackets, nothing special

I tiktok I think I saw something about them having caps that match with the numbers on them but hats are fucking lame

These are just aggressively mid and kind of disappointing

Seattle bc. Have you seen their color scheme??? Amazingggg also I loved visiting Seattle so

Minnesota bc I love that shade of green, and I think his eyes would really pop and I just really love the Mega Bill that was passed like a month or so ago and this is my chance to talk about it lol. Anyway look into what they've done and the protections for various communities etc there! It's fucking amazing given the general American political climate

Isles. I'm pretty neutral on them, but for the most part I do enjoy their games

Flyers. I like them, and I think it would be a fun team for him to be on and I want to see him interact with Gritty so badly

Dallas. I think that he would enjoy the area, honestly, and the team as a whole seems really fun. Also a team with Tyler, Jason, and Ryan??? I'd be dead on the ground

Sabres. Colors are nice, the blue would compliment his eyes 🥰

Edmo. They're chill, the team is solid insofar as I recall. It'd be a cool decision for him. Maybe Sol would enjoy it too, or at least enjoy me going crazy going stupid etc etc lol

Canes. The fast-paced play i think would be to his strength in the same way that the Devs are. But I'm still mad at them for kicking the Devs out 😡

Panthers. Gives Sol something to talk about that isn't Ratthew (affectionate) but also their playoff run was very sick and I think he'd add to their team rather than detract

Preds. Nashville is like 3 hours away from me so. Selfishness in location for this one 💅

Pens. I don't hate them, I don't love them. But bc of that stupid stanley cup "kiss me" commercial with Sidney being shown when the Pens won and that snippet of the autobiography with his agent or w/e I'm getting drawn back into the fold I thought I escaped several years ago lmao

Sharks. Fun colors, on the coast, lots of nice alternate jerseys/one-off designs (Chris Chow, the hold you still have on me after all these years 😔😔😔)

Blues. Nice logo, I really don't know a lot about them though.

Hale’s parents, who lived with the shooter, said Hale was under a doctor’s care for an “emotional disorder,” Nashville Police Chief John Drake said at a news conference Tuesday.

The shooter had various writings and maps of the school drawings of how to enter. We know that Hale left home Monday morning with a red bag and that Hale’s mother did not have weapons.

Authorities continue to work to answer questions about who Hale was and the motive behind the school shooting. While the shooter’s gender identity is unclear, police told CNN Hale was assigned female at birth and that Hale used “male pronouns” on social media.

Less than 20 minutes before the shooting, Hale sent an eerie Instagram message to Averianna Patton, a former basketball teammate who told CNN’s Don Lemon she’s “still trying to process it all.”

“I knew her well when we were kids,” Patton told Lemon on “CNN This Morning” Tuesday. Patton, now a Nashville radio host, said she hasn’t had a relationship with the suspect since they were children and has only ever referred to Hale as Audrey or “she.”

“I didn’t know the adult … I don’t know that side of her,” Patton told Lemon when asked about the suspect. Patton said she received the Instagram message at 9:57 a.m., which read, “One day this will make more sense. I’ve left more than enough evidence behind. But something bad is about to happen,” according to screen grabs sent to a CNN affiliate WTVF.

Patton said she was not sure why Hale reached out. “I’m asking God the same question,” Patton told Lemon. I can see the letters “OT” on the sticker, as well as some sort of logo. Looks like there might be a QR code. I think the door could be an art installation or at least not functioning as there’s a little sticker on the letter slot that is I think meant to communicate “Don’t put stuff in here”

Okay well I learned something interesting. In looking into Ottawa, I learned that a lot of Hallmark Christmas movies are filmed there. So many that they have like a whole tourism line designed for ppl to come visit Christmas movie sets. I thought maybe this was a later gram, like from when she was filming Santa Bootcamp. But then I looked into Santa Bootcamp and learned the whole movie was actually filmed in Nashville

Idk what that is meant to communicate other than that Emily must have spent a lot of time in the south this year.

I remember her advertising a show she played in Nashville in September. Just goes to show how she can be somewhere for a long time and we’ll never know it.

☕ if the pens begged you to change their color scheme and potentially logo design within the next 48h, what would you choose?

OH GOD this is such a tough one… I’m bad with logos but I think I would go with more of a orangish yellow? Like the one we had for the stadium series in 2017? It’s suuchhh a good color and aside from like, Nashville, I don’t think there’s any other team for it to be confused with. As for logo… I think I’d just change up the angle of Iceburgh? Make it look more like an action shot?
