Ranma ½ (2024 TV anime) - PV1

The new TV anime adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2 manga will premiere on October 5, 2024 at 24:55 JST (effectively, October 6 at 12:55 a.m. JST). The anime will exclusively stream on Netflix after its broadcast.

Personality: Brave, friendly, had a great sense of justice. Collected at times but can show a temper if pushed too far. Can and will take reckless actions if it can push his teammates out of danger.

Powers/Skills:

Optical Laser Beams: Shoots laser beams from his eyes.

Infrared vision: To trace an enemy or to see in the dark.

Martial Arts: Thanks to his father's training, Ace is an expert in martial arts and has a great agility. That makes him the best fighter out of the Loonatics. He's also the best at steal missions types.

Weapons:

Guardian Sword: A sword from outer space, supposedly responsible for the Loonatics’ superpowers. According to Zadavia, it should wield all of its powers once Ace is ready.

Shurikens: Hidden in his right gauntlet.

His eyes were brown before he gained his superpowers.

Has a big scar on his left side, but is unable to remember where he got it.

When Acmetropolis slowly developed into a metropolis two generations ago, Ace’s grandmother, Yukiko, moved to the city to start her own legacy. She built her dojo on Acmetropolis’ hills, which her son Nao inherited when she passed away. Then Nao, who raised his son alone after his wife’s death when Ace was only three years old, decided to train the little grey rabbit to martial arts like he had been, to make sure he would be ready to inherit the dojo in the future.

Ace, however, wanted to forge his own path: his wish was to help people and become someone his late mother, who he was told had been a benevolent soul, would be proud of. Because they couldn’t agree with Ace’s future, a rift was created between father and son, straining their relation.

In June 12, 2772, a meteor fell near Acmetropolis, granting powers to six individuals including Ace. The grey rabbit became the new owner of the legendary Guardian Sword, a powerful weapon that choose them to become heroes.

As the leader of the Loonatics, Ace hopes to fulfill his designated destiny and become the hero the world needs. But is he ready to face the dangers ahead, or will he discover it takes more than dreams to become a true hero?

If this was a normal day, a day where he didn’t feel this pain, Teddie would’ve enjoyed this chance to lean against his friend and have his head pet. He would’ve told a joke about Yukiko being so gentle with him and made cute, little noises to signify his enjoyment. Now he was quiet. A little too quiet for anyone’s liking including his own.

“Is this what being sick feels like…?” He’s only heard of colds, fevers, and tummy pain. Only the last one has he ever actually experienced. Once he saw Yosuke experiencing what his mother said was a cold. Teddie could confirm this wasn’t the same as what he was told.

Why now of all times? The Culture Festival and their night at the inn was only a few short days ago and he felt fine. He wasn’t hit too hard on the head was he? Not impossible but that didn’t feel likely. Instead he blamed this on a different cause his. All those thoughts in his head were doing this. Teddie was sure of it.

“I’ve been thinking about what I am a lot lately. At least every day. Nothing I try is working! Not even Nao-chan could help. Maybe that’s why…?” The bench helped him relax his shoulders enough to not be so tight, “But it’s hard to stop thinking. I’ve tried!”

"Right, just lean here…what's going on, Teddie? You've been acting like this for a while...I thought it had passed for you." She wondered if he could even get sick (besides the 'mystery food X' she, Chie or Rise would feed to them). But from the looks of it, it's mostly his head that's been giving him the trouble as he kept holding on and attempting to focus on her. He didn't even look like his usual self with bright cheerful eyes and a pep in his step whenever she spotted any of the gang. Maybe this was something of an aftermath from the TV world? This has gotten to be rather troublesome and worrying to Yukiko. She began to pet his head, hoping to soothe or calm him down that way and urging him to take some breaths along with it. She helped guide him over to a nearby bench to help him sit down and rest. "Just please tell me what's been going on and don't you lie and say you're fine."

Direct calls from Naoto were more rare than any other friend of his. Even Yukiko had more reasons to send a text message. Each message he treated with the same level of speed and urgency. Invitations by a friend excited the bear every time without fail. With how fast he responded one would think he was quite active on his phone when the opposite was usually the case.

Teddie arrived two minutes early from their designated meeting time. He rang the doorbell twice before leaning against the wall surrounding the door with his elbow. To bring everything together, a playful grin that the detective will encounter the moment she opens the door.

"Nao-chan~! Teddie's here!" He shouted from outside in case the doorbell was not enough to announce his presence.

Throughout the course of entertaining friendship with the other members of the Investigation Team, Naoto had learnt a lot of different facts regarding having a social life. The one that Naoto had took to heart and was applying now: some things were far, far easier to do with a second or even third party. 

That was not to say that Naoto found it easy to take time out of anothers day to receive their assistance, especially with things they saw as trivial.

… But.. Was this really trivial..? No, they'd decided, it was not. While it wasn't a life or death matter, it was important to them. -and so, Naoto had reached out, specifically to Kumakichi, who they believed to hardly ever be busy between trips to the TV world and their work at Junes.

So, now, Naoto paced about the entrance to their home, waiting for the bears, or boys, arrival, the "thing" they needed help with laying on their coffee table, a mess of wire, metal, and several small lightbulbs that sat on a rubber mat. 

There was also a box of random trinkets laid beside the table, but that was no longer relevant to the detective. 

…ah, right, they should go get paint, they'd be needing that.
