steve, eddie, robin, nancy, jonathan, argyle, and chrissy are all like super close friends as children, and they experience this Horror (upside down related, ofc).

they think they defeat it, think they're safe to grow up and to live their lives. they make a pact though, that it it ever comes back, they'll come back too.

only it wasn't actually ever dead; it just went dormant. for 27 years.

one of them stays behind (steve), just in case. the rest of them get out of Hawkins, only to get that call 27 years later. the call they've all dreaded.

cue all of them reuniting (except for one, chrissy maybe since she's canonically dead) over dinner where everything comes flooding back. they have to fight this thing again, and this time they have to defeat it.

(of course, steddie would be a thing here, and maybe ronance and jargyle too)

this past month i've been imagining what various OCs of mine-- some from a DECADE ago, some of which i've never talked about publicly-- would look like in MET gala style outfits! the theme was THE FOUR ELEMENTS and characters were sorted into whichever element i felt suited them best.

okay disclaimer. i was noooot inspired at all for the fire outfits. it's just not my element. i'm an earth girlie okay.

Euna Li (The Gemini Heist). Euna gets a sun outfit bc is a ray of sunshine. BUT i also wanted to put her in something that was not Just A Dress, and had the idea of making her a knight, since she's very loyal and dedicated and totally deserves to have a big ass sword. Paladin!Euna AU, i guess.

Shannon McAuley (Girls With White Teeth). Shannon likes vintage clothes so i wanted to put her in something of that style. it's not the most original design but she looks amazing. the ruffles were a pain in the ass to shade but i'm happy with how it turned out.

Jack Rose (UnSuper Squad). sparkly flames??? i guess?????

Paige Keagan (UnSuper Squad). Paige is kind of a brooding, gothy girlie, so a dragon from hell seemed perfect. the dress has like LEDs in it to make it glow or something. she's that extra.

Ryan Miyake (UnSuper Squad). more flames????? i was actually inspired by a Lil Nas X outfit that lowkey looks like a pokemon trainer lmao. he was originally in air but i ended up switching him with Azami. (sidenote how did half my unsuper squad end up here in fire...)

Savannah Cole (Aurora Hearts: Mirage). Savannah is a really old oc that i repurposed for a friend's universe. she has fire powers bc ofc she does. the outfit is supposed to be phoenix inspired and i probably should've given her wings but i was honestly so tired of drawing feathers.

HOW TO GET YOUR SH*T TOGETHER - SCHOOL EDITION

Intro: well, ik this isn’t the kinda stuff I usually post, but I’ve been wanting to write this. I’m a HUGE procrastinator, but I’m also an overachiever, so it’s just a really shitty self-fulfilling prophecy, ya see. My mental health also does nOT help so it’s hard to balance things. Though, I have found ways, and here are some school related:

• Don’t THINK about procrastinating. You’ll most likely end up procrastinating if you keep thinking of it, yk? Just don’t think abt it and sit down. Do your shit. Work it 🫵🏻 •

• Write down stuff from the lecture, no matter if the teacher wrote it down or not. I N I C I A T I V E is everything, you silly. •

• Take small breaks !!!!!!!!!! Do noooot overwhelm yourself. I love u and u should be in good spirits when studying, hm? •

• Set yourself a daily goal. Mine is 1hr of study per day, without counting the breaks (as I don’t study in them, obvi). •

• Slowcore music, FOR sOMe rEaSON really helps me studying!!! I think it’s cuz the instrumental is louder than the lyrics, so I can’t really pay attention to them. Well, anyways. My recommendations on that are: sign crushes motorist; take care; birth day; i dont like my mirrors, etc etc. what i do is to just throw their whole discographies into a playlist and BOOM name it a study playlist. Like. Urm. Thats it. •

• holy shit, organize your rat corner of studying, my dude. it literally did WONDERS for me. I cleaned drawers, put all the stuff that crammed my table in them. I also added a cool luminary, but u don’t gotta do that. •

• ALSO those magnet metal boards are a must for me !! i’ve been using them for yeARS and its wonderful <3 •

• minty sweets are also cool, specially those ones that u can keep on ur mouth. idk why. extra energy, i guess. •

• NOTION. NOTIONNOTIONNOTION. It’s amazing. I keep everything from school in it, plus assignments and links to websites. I strongly recommend u to check it out !!! •

• do NO use your phone in between study seshs. Trust me. It’s going to distract u lots. Replace them for books, or if you play an instrument, do that. Jeez, just doodle or grab a snack •

• always keep close to u a schedule with all the subjects u got each day. it’ll help u to remember what to bring + will get u out of trouble with the teachers •

noooot quite about daybreak but do you have any general pointers on how you draw grox? like what anatomically similar creatures i could reference, i cant draw them very well myself but i love how you draw them :D ty

Yes, I do! I have plenty of personal headcanons for them but this can apply to a base-game grox too ^^

In my opinion you can draw Grox however you'd like! I've met people with wildly different takes on them, But universally their core elements are the fact that they are a small, fuzzy species that is typically anthro-adjacent.

One of my absolute biggest tips: SKETCH THE HEAD WITH A SQUARE, NOT A CIRCLE! I picked this up from another friend of mine and it has DRAAAASTICALLY improved both how I draw grox and how I draw in general! Grox do not have circular heads, Instead having very square ones, And I find it's a lot easier to convey that when using a square for the base sketch. When drawing from a perspective, Use a cube.

From there the rest of the face is pretty easy! I usually draw them w/ two bumps above the eyes to kinda replicate the almost frog-like face shape they have in game.

BUT!! These can also be very useful for SHAPE LANGUAGE!!

You might notice that when I draw Epsilon, The bumps above his eyes are sharp and almost horn-like.

This is to further exaggerate his shape language! Epsilon has much pointier features than other Grox I draw to help convey his personality better. For your average Grox I will typically use very squared-off shapes mixed in with sharp and pointy ones, But Epsilon here is all points!

Meanwhile, With Celeste's I draw hers a lot softer looking and rounder. Also note her rounder jawline.

Grox are deceptively easy to make use of shape language with!

For how simple their design is, It's incredibly malleable while still being immediately recognizable as a grox.

These grox are all drawn in a rather generic spore style. For my specific take on their design I give them longer, more antennae-like ears, Whiskers as well as radiosensory pits near the corner of my eyes. I have omitted those details to make this easier as those all tie into personal spec-bio and headcanons which you (The Asker or Reader) may not share.

I hope this helps you with drawing their faces at the very least! In a reblog I will include tips on drawing their limbs, As I believe that is another very very important detail

When the scouts ran drills, none of them ever wanted to team up with Hunter. It was quite the opposite, in fact. You’d think that they’d be fighting over the honor of having the head of the coven and the Emperor’s nephew on their team, but no. Rather, they’d jump at the chance to gang up on him and Hunter couldn’t help but feel like they enjoyed getting to exclude him.

But he worked better alone, anyway. It made him work harder.

“All right team, line up!” announced Willow. “Gus is gonna rig up some illusions to test our reflexes! Let’s see if we can sniff out the real Gus and snatch some flags!”

The Entrails cheered in agreement as they ran to take their places on the field. Willow smiled at their excitement and followed suit, setting up beside Hunter who had managed to sneak away for a few hours to help run drills.

“Hey Hunter! Wanna be my partner?”

“Y-your partner?” he repeated, confused.

“Yeah!” she said with a mischievous smile. “You take the left, I take the right. If we work together, I bet we can do it in record time.”

“But we don’t... have to work together,” he said, in case she had forgotten her own instructions. “You don’t have to work with me.”

“I know I don’t have to,” she chuckled. “I want to, if you want to. You’re good at strategy; it’ll be fun.”

“Oh, yeah sure.” He said, warming up to the fact that she was serious. “I’d... like that.”

“Awesome!” Willow said with a bright smile, extending her pinky out to him. “Alliance?”

He looked at her gesture with confusion and the raised his hand to mirror hers and touched his pinky to hers. “Alliance.” He confirmed. Willow tugged his pinky, completing the promise as Gus and his illusions took to the skies and beckoned the team to come after him.

He was new, that’s why she picked him.

Amity took game night very seriously. The only person who took it more seriously was Hunter. Before they could begin any game, they each had to have the instructions memorized. Every dice roll, every moment, every turn has to be by the book. They prided themselves in knowing every technicality which only fueled their competitive nature even more.

“Go back four spaces and take three additional cards, Hunter!” Amity ordered, taking far too much delight in delivering the blow.

“No! I was so close to the jackpot space!” Hunter exclaimed in utter dismay as he took his punishment cards from the deck on the table.

“Amity please!” Gus groaned in desperation. “We were so close to being done! Why??”

“Because if anyone’s gonna be the champ it’s gonna be me!” She declared, furiously shaking the dice to power up her revenge roll.

“What’s up Gus? I thought you liked silly human board games.” Lus said.

“I do! But these two and their love of rules make it so hard to cheat!” Gus sighed. “Deception is half the fun.”

“Don’t worry Gus, Hunter is still the closest the victory circle,” assured Willow. “When we’re done we can go watch the clothes spin around in the dryer, that usually makes you feel better.”

“But I don’t have enough tokens to make it past the trick space!” Hunter said in a panic.

“Where did you guys even find this game?” Luz said under her breath, looking at the box.

“Hey, I’ve got plenty,” said Willow, putting the plastic coins in a pile. “You can use some of mine!”

“Oh no Willow, I couldn’t,” Hunter insisted, knowing she had worked hard for her collection. “You earned those.”

“We can share them,” she said with a shrug, having worked hard to earn them mostly to aggravate Amity. “We can work together.”

“Really? Uh, hold on lemme check the rule book I know know if it says that’s allowed...”

“Well, it doesn’t say it’s noooot,” she pointed out playfully, gathering her pieces and scooting closer to him to combine their loot. “Alliance?” She asked, sticking out her pinky. Her face donned a devious smile as Amity waited in suspense for Hunter to confirm or deny, certain their team up would dismantle everything she worked for.

“Alliance.” Hunter confirmed, grabbing her pinky with his own and furrowing his brow in determination, ready to make Amity pay for playing as the piece he wanted to play as.

She wanted to end the game, that’s why she picked him.

“… and then there’s supposed to be punch there too! It’s like all the flavors mixed together, so it’s looks kinda gross but trust me it’s actually really good!” Vee continued to happily explain as the group walked down the sidewalk to her friend’s house. They had all been invited to a party and Vee and Luz were trying to cram as much information about human realm parties to their friends as possible before they arrived. For the most part, they were all excited. They had been working hard and could use a break, and of course Gus had brought his notebook to take down as much as he could. But Willow couldn’t help but notice how quiet Hunter was as he dragged his feet beside her.

“You okay, Hunter?” Willow whispered and he flinched, as though he had been so zoned out he forget where he was. “You look… sick?”

“Sick?”

“I mean, you still look really nice,” she said quickly, knowing how much time he had spent making the jean jacket he was wearing. He looked more than just nice, if she was being honest, but she had a feeling that wasn’t what was plaguing his mind. “But you look nervous.”

“I mean… maybe I am, a little,” he admitted, hoping the others couldn’t hear. “I’ve just… never been to a party before, let alone a human one. I-I don’t know what I’m supposed to say or when I’m supposed to say something or if there’s a certain place I’m supposed to sit or-.”

“Hey, it’s okay,” she assured him with a gentle giggle. “I’ve never really been to a party before either.”

“You? Really?” He practically gasped. “But you’d be so fun at parties!”

“Aw, thanks,” she blushed, subconsciously adjusting her hair clip. “But yeah, I’ve never been to a party that wasn’t a birthday party, and even then it was only me and Gus. But this sounds like it’ll be fun.”

“Really? It sounds terrifying to me,” Hunter gulped, feeling like her was turning paler.

“Well, I’m really glad you’re going,” she said sweetly, knowing he hardly had a choice in the matter. He had just gotten on better terms with Vee and turning down an invitation didn’t seem like a good way to keep that positive momentum going. His heart leapt at Willow’s words, though he was sure it was just her being nice. He hardly expected to see much of her after they arrived.

He was sure the moment they walked in, everyone would be drawn to Willow. How could they not be? She was kind, funny, charismatic and not that he noticed but she looked absolutely stunning in the green sweater she had just bought, the way it made her eyes pop even in the dim moonlight. She was interesting and fun, they’d probably form a line for the chance to talk to her. He assumed he would gravitate to a spot in the shadows, maybe see if there were any books to read. Luz had mentioned that parties where the perfect time to impress someone and while Hunter pretended not to know what she was implying, he couldn’t imagine him being impressive in this type of social setting.

“I’m actually a little nervous too,” Willow said softly and Hunter looked at her in surprise once again. “I mean, I don’t know anyone there.”

“Well, you know me,” he said simply.

“That’s true,” she smiled, glancing up at him illuminated by the streetlights. “Um, would you wanna… hang out at the party?”

“Me? A-are you sure?” Hunter said, clearing his throat. She had plenty of other options.

“Yeah,” she said. “If it’s boring or awkward we can at least talk to each other. I like talking to you.”

“Oh… I like talking to you too,” he said, stopping at the edge of the driveway as the others walked in the front door. Vee greeted her friends with open arms and proceed to introduce Luz, diving into their story about being distant cousins or something. He sighed, his chest felt tight all of a sudden imaging all the people in the house. “I just…”

Willow sensed his discomfort.

“Hey, no worries,” she said. “How about if one us wants to leave early, we walk home together?”

“Really? You wouldn’t mind?”

“Of course not,” she said. “We can always think of an excuse to leave. I’d rather be walking with you than at a party without you.”

“Oh.”

“And Luz mentioned there might be games and we’ve always been a great team at games,” she smiled. She did not bring up one game Luz had mentioned in particular, mostly as a joke, where two people spend seven minutes together. She didn’t necessary plan on participating, but if she did she’d want Hunter as her partner. “Or if someone talks to one of us and we don’t know what to say we can help each other out.”

“I’d really like that,” Hunter said with a sigh of relief, his hands fidgeting at his sides. Willow smiled, happy to see he was okay with her idea. She brought up her pinkie and offered it to him with a bright smile.

“Alliance?”

He looked at her, still confused as to how she was so content to spend the whole night with him. But he couldn’t say it wasn’t an ideal situation for him.

“Alliance.” He said, linking his pinkie to hers. But this time instead of releasing it after they sealed the promise, she brought their hands down to their sides and used it to lead him inside. He knew everyone who saw them would assume they were together but he did not remove himself from her grasp.

She didn’t want to talk to strangers, that’s what she did it.

She didn’t want to get lost, that’s what she did it.

She knew he would hide in a dark corner without her, that’s why she did it.

She was was worried he’d say something dumb and blow their cover, that’s why she did it.

Hunter’s mind flooded with excuses for why she did not drop his hand and stood so close to him without hesitation. Because he couldn’t fathom the reason for their alliance was because she wanted him on her side because she just wanted to be with him. She could pick anyone, but she kept picking him.

What a shame. What terrible fate. What a~~~~pity!!" I toss my tool aside and raspberry your armpit mercilessly, holding you steady with my hands, tracing my nails tauntingly on the outer pit and inner arm. "Don't try to fight itttt~! You're a ticklish pit boy and you're getting tickles till the cows come home~!"

"Or maybeeee~" I lean back and smirk, pointing my finger below and wiggling it up and down. "Maybeeee~! Until youuuuuu comeee~!" I point lower, tracing down your chest and teasing your belly as I get to your very visible arousal. "Naughty naughty ~ naughty thing~!" I wag my finger back and forth and pick the feather back up, clicking my tongue with tsk tsk tsks~ "getting allll worked up, just from your tickless? My goodness, what kind of tickle operation do you think I run here you naughty boy!" I reach up and idly draw my fingers along your underarm while the feather starts to kiss and caress under your tip. I keep the feather going, just urging your stiff rod along while I continue tickling away at your armpit, skittering and tracing and drawing around in teasing circles, my look of concentration as I balance your criss-crossed sensations and imitate all your sounds. I smile in your face right as my pit grazes against yours, our sensitive spots connected as I squeal out and start tickling your other pit to make you wiggle against me. I snicker and watch your royal part bounce and tingle, moving back to kiss your pits again before snuggling up to one side.

With my cute outfit and body brushing on you I lean in and kiss a pit before reaching back to pull out my magic wand. My love life is hilarious

Three years ago today I was asked out by my (then current now ex) girlfriend's brother and I just want to say, the mini bout of chaos that ensued was hilarious.

Just to give you some ideas of what I was dealing with:

Dude looked like Freddy Mercury from Wish but couldn't hold a tune in a bucket.

Like if Mario was built like Luigi but kept the same round head.

Mans was so self deluded that I couldn't possibly be gay that he walked in on me and his sister cuddling in her bed, and to protect her from being outted, I yelled, "Dog pile!" And he fell for it, and dog piled on us.

Which was awkward to say the least but if you ever want ideas for how to make it more awkward he asked me out with a video of Jett from Avatar: The Last Airbender asking Katara out to the dance. To which I played dumb and was like, "LOL I remember that ep of avatar that was cute". Because there's no way this is happening right? I'm noooot being asked out by my girlfriend's brother RIGHT?

Then this happens:

What these humans call "a date"???? Let me tell you that the next 5 minutes was full metal panic mode on my end where I instantly texted everyone I knew what the fuck just happened and I screamed into the void that was now my soul.

I was being asked out. By my girlfriend's brother. I texted her and she was in the middle of DMing a D&D session, paused what she was doing and goes "Hey guys what the fuck do I do in this situation? My brother just asked out my girlfriend." BOI THE PLAYERS LOST THEIR MINDS much like I was losing mine.

Then, trying not to say "Bro I'm dating your sister." I was trying to figure out how to politely turn him down and also not out my girlfriend in the process, but I did it. I managed to skert around it and said:

Radio silence for 2 solid minutes. These two minutes boiled down to have I outted my girlfriend or has he taken the bait? Then he goes:

DOES SHE HAVE A FRIEND? BRO I AM HER FRIEND THE REST ARE ONLINE. WE'RE BOTH INTROVERTS. IT'S AMAZING WE EVEN FOUND EACH OTHER.

Meanwhile, he's NONE THE WISER, and now I have a fantastically awkward story to put into writing one day.

okay, so Black Sails is on netflix rn, so I started watching it, and I'm two episodes in, and I'm quite invested. So much mess. Question: have you ever made any of the black sails characters as sims? Or done edits of them? I think you would make bomb-ass black sails sims. Anyways, I'm in love with Max, and Silver reminds a bit of my own pirate OC, which is dangerous. But anyways, THANK YOU for talking about black sails enough to make me want to watch it. (Since I am obsessed with pirates, it's a wonder I hadn't watched it already...)

ermm not good 😭😭 took my SSRI last night and it’s my first time in weeks so it’s not built up in my system and now I feel so shitty 😭😭 cut your pills in half to gradually increase the dose in your system if meds make you sick easily guys!! my dogs are laying with me though 🙏

Ooof yeah I got so sick after I stopped mine :((( I was on a super high dose so the traditional half, then off did noooot work for me. I thought I was dying genuinely I was so debilitating dizzy and had horrible brain fog and couldn’t keep food down and got the wooorst headache for days on end :( SSRIs go CRAZYYY when you forget to take them or stop

fuck me i am so so so so sleepy for some reason and i spent my evening drawing instead of studykng for my hoa midterm cause im still in a gramhite mood cause we had to draw a self portrait earlier for vis tech and mine turned out like shit but it was like. decent i guess. hopefully at least passing . i actually made an effort to blend and render graphite on that one cause usually graphite and realistic drawing just pisses me off and my brain keeps fucking me up to not bother out of spite or something anyways i still wanna draw shit but like.. so sleepy i dunno if it was the cold meds or just still feeling sick but like. im p sure i slept an adequate amount yesterday and also i took a nap too ??

my phone camera is so bad and this paper is actually like. really bad for pencil its for watercolor and the texture does noooot really match
