this past month i've been imagining what various OCs of mine-- some from a DECADE ago, some of which i've never talked about publicly-- would look like in MET gala style outfits! the theme was THE FOUR ELEMENTS and characters were sorted into whichever element i felt suited them best.

okay disclaimer. i was noooot inspired at all for the fire outfits. it's just not my element. i'm an earth girlie okay.

Euna Li (The Gemini Heist). Euna gets a sun outfit bc is a ray of sunshine. BUT i also wanted to put her in something that was not Just A Dress, and had the idea of making her a knight, since she's very loyal and dedicated and totally deserves to have a big ass sword. Paladin!Euna AU, i guess.

Shannon McAuley (Girls With White Teeth). Shannon likes vintage clothes so i wanted to put her in something of that style. it's not the most original design but she looks amazing. the ruffles were a pain in the ass to shade but i'm happy with how it turned out.

Jack Rose (UnSuper Squad). sparkly flames??? i guess?????

Paige Keagan (UnSuper Squad). Paige is kind of a brooding, gothy girlie, so a dragon from hell seemed perfect. the dress has like LEDs in it to make it glow or something. she's that extra.

Ryan Miyake (UnSuper Squad). more flames????? i was actually inspired by a Lil Nas X outfit that lowkey looks like a pokemon trainer lmao. he was originally in air but i ended up switching him with Azami. (sidenote how did half my unsuper squad end up here in fire...)

Savannah Cole (Aurora Hearts: Mirage). Savannah is a really old oc that i repurposed for a friend's universe. she has fire powers bc ofc she does. the outfit is supposed to be phoenix inspired and i probably should've given her wings but i was honestly so tired of drawing feathers.

The priest, deeply rooted in religion and spirituality, was known for his soft and gentle nature towards others. His faith guided his every action, and his compassionate demeanor brought comfort to those around him. Though, everything changed when he was transported to the realm of Devildom.

At first, he struggled to comprehend the reality before him. The world he had been immersed in, where religion was forced upon him at every turn, seemed to crumble around him. His gentle facade began to crack, giving way to anger and disbelief. How could this be the true nature of existence? What do you mean that there's a school between heaven and hell? Celestial realm? Devildom? Him becoming an exchanged student? None of this is real.. The idea of interacting with the Demon King or the seven demon brothers filled him with disgust and fear His once-kind eyes now held a flicker of hostility, his voice tinged with bitterness as he struggled to reconcile his beliefs with the reality of Devildom.

The priest's journey was one of internal conflict and anger. As he grasp with the unknown of this new world, questioning himself everything he had once held dear. His faith, once a source of strength, now felt like a burden, a reminder of the lies he had been fed throughout his life. As the priest character go through Devildom, his once-unshakable faith began to waver. The demonic realm stood in stark contrast to the existence he had led, causing him to question his beliefs. He have never seen anything like this in the book.

As the priest go deeper into Devildom, he began to uncover secrets that challenged his understanding of good and evil. He witnessed acts of kindness and compassion among the demons, qualities he had once believed to be exclusively human. The lines between right and wrong began to blur, and the priest have a hard time grappling with a newfound sense of uncertainty.

As soon as Priest was assigned to be with the seven demon brothers, his reaction was one of shock and disbelief. He stared at them as if they were something disgusting, his eyes wide with horror. The sight of Diavolo, Barbatos, the demon brothers, sent a chill down his spine. This was a far from what he was forced to believe, he had envisioned, and struggling to understand with this new reality.

Priest's attire was a stark reminder of his life back in the human realm. His simple priest uniform and the cross necklace that hung around his neck stood out most. The demons, with their elaborate unifotms and otherworldly appearances, looked upon him with a mixture of amusement and curiosity. Wondering how can a priest react.

Their mischievous antics and irreverent behavior just makes the Priest frustrated. Of course the demons probably dislike priests or any religious people because of how they imagine demons to be. And when the moments where he had to act like a therapist, the priest gets angry. Asmodeus and Mammon, in particular, seemed to take great pleasure in pushing the priest's buttons, their playful taunts and suggestive comments leaving the priest flustered and off-balance.

Throughout his journey, Priest's unwavering faith and gentle nature served as a beacon of hope in the darkness of Devildom. His interactions with the demon brothers, though often fraught with tension and conflict, has revealed the hidden depths of everyone, and the priest found himself questioning his own beliefs and assumptions about the nature of good and evil. Priest initial interactions with the seven demon brothers were marked by tension and misunderstanding. His opinions, shaped by the teachings of the human realm, clouded his perception of the demons. He was struggling with the differences between the biblical depictions he had been taught and the reality that stood before him.

Lucifer, the eldest of the brothers, was the embodiment of Priest's deepest fears. The priest's apprehension was understandable, his every move guarded and cautious. Like any human would act when being forced to live in a different realm that they never thought it was real.. Lucifer, though understanding of Priest's reactions, Lucifer is sometimes angry by the constant side-eye glances and mistrust coming from Priest. Their interactions were filled by misunderstandings, both of them struggling to bridge the gap between their different worlds.

Mammon, the second eldest, was a force to be reckoned with. Priest realized he had signed up for a game he wasn't sure he could win. Their constant fights and yapping were by moments of unexpected empathy, as Priest relating to the demon brothers despite his best efforts to maintain his religious beliefs. Mammon grew frustrated with Priest's tendency to bring religion into every conversation, urging him to let go of his rigid beliefs and embrace the reality of Devildom.

Leviathan, the third eldest, evoked a sense of nostalgia in Pries. The demon's nature reminded him of the edgy teenagers who had once hate his attempts at religious guidance or even visiting the church. Despite their clashes, Priest and Leviathan discovered a shared interest that brings them close, allowing for moments of unexpected connection. Especially when it comes to animals, like Snake. Priest often finds Leviathan's Ruri-Chan's merchto be concerning which made Leviathan to judge him for believing into something for so long only to found it everything was a lie.. both of them have not talked about it since..

Satan, the fourth eldest, priest's initial hesitation and desire to avoid the demon were quickly overshadowed, drawing him into Satan's orbit alongside the other demons. As Priest navigated his feelings towards Satan, he found himself questioning his faith and beliefs. They quickly bonded with the liking of books.

Asmodeus, the fifth eldest, a constant confusion for Priest. The demon's flirtatious attempts were met with confusion, as Priest struggled to understand Asmodeus' intentions. His pure nature, often underestimated by those around him, made him particularly uncomfortable with Asmodeus' unexpected touches. Priest still tried to be understanding of Asmodeus' interest in fame and beauty, recognizing it to his own experiences in the human realm.

Beelzebub, the sixth eldest, was another confusion that Priest found himself with. The demon's seemingly nice and gentle personality. To Priest, that's not how a demon should be. Despite his instincts telling him to maintain a safe distance, Priest is drawn to Beelzebub's normalcy. He even caught himself cooking and baking for the demon of gluttony, a task that brought them closer together despite Priest's best efforts to keep his guard up.

Belphegor, the youngest of the demon brothers, was the one Priest disliked the most. His disdain for unmotivated individuals was well-known, and he saw Belphegor as someone who was not making the most of his life. At first, he never intended to help the demon at all but something in him made him to. After traumatic encounter with Belphegor, where he was betrayed and choked, left him with a deep-seated fear. Whenever Belphegor entered the room, Priest made a tried his best to appear normal, but he couldn't help but leave the room.

Other headcanons is that Priest has a secret love for sweets, particularly chocolate chip cookies. He often sneaks into the kitchen late at night to bake batches of cookies, only to find Beelzebub eating too. Which made both of them to talk together as they eat (Priest couldn't help it.. I only wonder how he'd react to the angels) Talking about sweets, one time Barbatos offered him baked goods and Tea.. Oh he couldn't wait to see Barbatos after that encounter.

Despite his stern and serious demeanor, Priest has a hidden talent for playing the piano. In the human realm, he always plays the piano. He often plays softly when no one else is around, pouring his emotions into the music and finding a sense of peace that he struggles to achieve in his interactions with the demon brothers.

Priest has a collection of small, intricately carved wooden crosses that he keeps hidden in his room. Each cross represents a person he has helped or a struggle he has overcome. And sometimes, puts it infront of his door whenever he's fed up with the brothers.

Priest has a soft spot for animals, particularly stray cats. He often leaves out bowls of food and water for them, and he has been known to sneak them into his room for a warm place to sleep on cold nights. He was once caught by Lucifer when helping Satan to bring a kitten home during the heavy storm and scold him for it.. that night, it seemed like Priest was more angry towards Lucifer than Lucifer is angry at Priest..

Priest has a secret journal where he writes down his thoughts and observations about Devildom and the demon brothers. He uses it as a way to process his experiences and writing down the new things he have learned in this realm.

Priest has a habit of humming softly to himself when he's deep in thought or when he's trying to solve a problem. The melodies are often hymns or prayers, a subconscious way of seeking guidance and clarity. Right when his and Belphegor's relationship goes, He hums different songs for him to sleep.

How widespread and/or influential is Euna's spy network? They were able to do quite a lot inside of Ba Sing Se during the Siege, and presumably there are informants all over the EK passing on local information. But does she do anything with that reach outside of keeping her field researchers safe?

Real good question. And it's best answered in the goal of the bss university's goal in their little espionage game. Ultimately, they're trying to preserve the history of the war for future generations. The Dai Li and their "no war" campaign is dangerous and the university academics refuse to let propaganda become truth.

So while they were highly influential helping the wings during the siege, that's because they have a strong network within the city to get around the Dai Li. Outside the city however, theyre mostly focused on their research, both whatever actual research they have and their secret history recording research. Thus, their contacts and networking outside the city are basically just focused on keeping bss researchers safe and informed. But rarely do they actively get involved like they did during the siege.

Flinching from his voice, you wiped the drool coming out from the side of your lips then cleared your throat. “Actually,” Jaemin winced when he was able to get a good look from your messed up state, “I was wrong. You were sleeping, not spacing out. My bad.”

But him waking you up from the total nightmare wasn’t helping your side at all.

You stared up at your best friend in pure awe (ignore your messy hair, disheveled uniform, huge eye bags, and the very obvious dry saliva on the corners of your lips.) 

Jaemin stared back at you, his eyes carefully examining your pretty features. He lifted his right hand and placed the hair covering your eyes behind your ear, a soft chuckle leaving his lips. 

“I told you to rest early. I know Renjun’s pressuring you with the group project, but you don’t have to do it all in one night. Before you scold me for scolding you, why don’t we share the chocolate Euna gave me?”

Then it hit you harder than you wanted it too.

You felt the bitter feeling bubbling up your throat when the name of another girl escaped Jaemin’s lips. Then your stomach grumbled from hunger, in which he laughed at and you blushed. 

You never blushed before.

You fell for Na Jaemin.

You're more than screwed.

And when she did, it was usually because she was hiding some sort of surprise -- other than the time she accidentally ripped one of his anime magazines. It was replaced the next day with a heartfelt apology letter written inside of it.

Euna kept her arms crossed over him and grinned. "I'm not doing anything to stop you from getting up. I'm just sitting here. Thinking about what you'll buy me for dinner later after I win the bet. How expensive is the wagyu steak? I bet it's better here then it is back home..." As she finally lifted herself off of him, Euna plunked down on the bed again and wrapped herself back up in the blankets since she wasn't going anywhere soon. She pulled her phone from the table and scrolled through endlessly, peeking up at Taewoo and smiling again. Why did she suddenly feel so shy watching him?

“No! That’s not!” Taewoo laughed again, shaking his head. Only Euna could get away with such antics, with such absurdity. It didn’t matter, he loved it. He had hoped that Euna wasn’t like this with everyone, because to him, this was a side only he should see.

With a sigh, he found himself agreeing to this little bet. “Alright, I’ll take you up on it. But so help me if you do end up saying it’s bad when it’s not, I’ll… be sure to be a menace.” He threatened. “Now if you’ll just let me go, we can get started on this bet. I’ll pick up your outfit first and then the pancakes.” They were going to have those as soon as possible, and he was making sure of that.

I think there's not much to discuss and it's something he said as a fact about himself so it should be taken that way.

In other ways, he doesn't pretend to be extra affectionate, he doesn't like interacting in ways that are not natural for him and his relationships with the other members.

I think he was joking that what Jin did was forced or unnatural, because he said "I hate this type of stuff"

And then he turned around and put a hand on Jin's shoulder while saying "even though we're idols / of course we're idols" like it's okay bro, like he understood that Jin would do that because it's their job as idols but he didn't quite agree with Jin lmao.

Jin stuttered and went like "I don't know what to say, there was something in your face and I had to take it" LOLL

So I think Jimin was joking with Jin, as if calling him out for doing "fanservice", for the "bromance" moment, but simultaneously he was stating a truth about himself: he hates when an interaction is forced.

(That was my interpretation yesterday and I even told a friend about it and now I see that the translator dalloga interpreted it the same way today 😌 me, not knowing Korean: wow I know so much Korean).

It's not the first time he says something like that. This is from some years ago, a conversation with a fan during a fansign.

He's also mentioned a lot of times that he hates lies and liars and he doesn't lie. Everything is coherent about who he is, tbh. I personally have never been one to believe he leaves a lot of room for misunderstanding about who he is and what he stands for.

And I think about a behind the scenes clip while they're filming the dynamite performance for the VMAs 2020 and he's play fighting JK and telling him "why would you lie". Also his birthday live when he called out JK when he said that his gift was on a boat over there and then with the cake, Jimin straight away told him that wasn't true. it's small things, but yeah. He has made himself clear on what he thinks about pretending/lying.

it’s the feeling of freedom, of seein’ the light

being born into the royal family, eunae has thought of nothing but succeeding the crown. it was practically an unspoken rule that tier one royals were expected to keep their bloodlines on the throne, if at all possible. and with so many noble families after the title, the competition has only grown stiffer. therefore, her mind had never drifted from her one track goal of becoming the next queen of the kingdom of hearts.

but had she not been given the weight and responsibility of bearing the crown, there was no doubt that eunae would be far from the kingdoms and the lifestyle she’d been brought up in. it was fairly common knowledge that she loved to learn new things and grasp as many languages as she could. in another life, her passions would lead her to travel freely, taking in as much knowledge, sights, and cultures that the world had to offer. 

perhaps she would be a vlogger who shared her international travels with anyone who cared to watch. or a photographer, either keeping her works to herself or displaying them in galleries for many to marvel at. she’d live a life with less restrictions and expectations, outside of confined walls and away from the stress of maintaining perfection.

i know she is helpless and her eyes are just helpless

all her life, her sister’s been the only competition for the throne. what had began as mere jealousy twisted into feelings of inferiority when compared to her. despite her earnest efforts to be what the citizens of her kingdom wanted and needed, eunae quickly became an object to be scorn amongst them. no matter what she achieved, her sister always seemed to do more. she was the object of affection. she received the good graces of them all. she was the queen’s daughter.

maybe if she weren’t around things would be different. maybe if she were gone, the people would love her just as she deserved to be. maybe...

it would be dishonest to say that the thoughts weren’t running through her mind frequently. there were times where she despised her sister and hated the predicament they were in. but even if she were given the opportunity, eunae would never wish for her secret thoughts to come true. jiae was her biggest roadblock in achieving the crown, but she was also her sister. despite their relationship now, she was her other half and always would be. to see her gone would leave eunae feeling empty. would she even be worthy of the crown if she could only obtain it through such means? the only answer was no.

there is nothing she craves more than to love and to be loved. as sheltered and as guarded as she believes herself to be, eunae has always worn her heart on her sleeve. even when logic tells her otherwise, the princess wants to see the good in others. whether she’s aware of it or not, she tends to give to others more than what is returned to her. 

she does everything in her control to be the perfect princess in order to be in the queen’s good graces. eunae wants to be praised and adored by her mother. but even as a child, it was difficult to earn even the slightest of glances. on the rare occasions that she was acknowledged, it was usually to recognize and correct all she had done wrong rather than right. but eunae took the criticism without complaint, holding onto the chance that one day she would be accepted.

to have her knight by her side no matter what trials and tribulations she faces is a bond that the princess would never want to lose. she trusts her with her life and jiah’s loyalty is a form of unconditional love that eunae holds dearly.

and for a moment in time, eunae felt as if she’d found a love that she’d only read about in fairytales. meeting noh yurye was like meeting every prince charming in her story books combined together into a single, living being. he was kind, worked hard, and despite his hardships, carried himself with grace. for a long time, she simply admired him from afar, hoping to become someone as respectable as him one day. but as they’d become acquainted and grew closer, eunae found herself wanting to see his smile whenever she could. whenever she’d learn of his arrival, she would race to him without a second thought. overtime, she couldn’t help but want to share her dream with him, ruling their kingdoms together.

but how silly of her to think that she would ever be worthy of his affections when her own mother would still not look her way. why would he be with her when the only friends she’d ever had were her knight and her brother’s best friend? and when put next to her sister, would she be pale in comparison in his eyes too? eunae longs to believe otherwise, but just this once, logic is triumphant in convincing her that there is no good in this situation. 

he does not love her, but that is fine, she lies. she loved him from afar once, and she’ll do it again, so long as he continues to smile. and maybe one day, someone will love her, too, all the same.

i will never be satisfied.
