The thing that honestly put me off of anarchists is they seem to think everyone is equally qualified to do anything. Accessibility ramps built by hobbyists, building codes set by Minecraft girlies, etc. And when this inevitably blows up in someone’s face and hurts someone? How do you hold anyone accountable in an anarchist society? How do you have OSHA in one?

My head is killing me today, so apologies if any of this is worded poorly.

I can see where you'd get this idea, and where you're coming from, but I can assure you that these things are very much accounted for. A good example of this is in the Autonmous Administration of North and East Syria, where I can speak first hand that professionall schooled and trained engineers arein charge of rebuilding infrastructure. There is also equally trained and qualified people in most other risky-professional roles, like medicine and such.

There absolutely are anarchists that either go "idk lol" or say that nothing is needed. I hate doign this, because it makes me look like one too, but I would just recommend to ignore a lot fo these types, because they usually end up just liking Aanrchism as a "vibes" thing rather than as a mode of structure and organising.

It's hard to give many examples of it all in action, since most anarchist communtiies are small (which is part of the point) but that's also why AANES is a great example for a lot of this in action/

Surrogate mothers, whose wombs are exploited as privileged folks oppress them via mass commodification of their bodies and their capability of giving birth. Mothers who kill their m@le partners for abusing their daughters. Mothers who are shamed for breast feeding and showing their pregnant bellies in public. Mothers who are the natural protectors, because every cell of her body gives life and strength to her children. Mothers who give away their food and utility shares to their children and survive on crumbles.

Mothers of P@l3st!ne who are suffering alone and have lifelong traumas, as they are carrying the dead bodies of their children daily, made to go through c-sections without anaesthesia and are giving birth with no aid, relief, food and water. Mothers of Congo losing their children to mine exploitation daily. Mothers of Sudan being abused by Ar@b militia m3n. Mothers of Yemen, Syria, Lebanon. Mothers of Iran mourning their daughters' lost lives after their abuse by the m@le supremacist I$lam!c regime. Mothers of Afghanistan whose daughters can't study and who can't move around the country without the permission of a m@le guardian.

Mothers in South Asia forced to go through multiple pregnancies because their in-laws want a son. Mothers in Sindh and Punjab suffering fistulas. Mothers in India, Pakistan and China made to see the murder of their new born infants because their babies are females. Black and Hispanic mothers in US denied abortions and facing medical misogyny. Indigenous mothers fighting to protect their lands. All the refugee mothers of war and climate change displaced with no homes. Mothers in garment factories of Bangladesh making clothes of the whole world in abusive working conditions. Mothers who are called misogynist derogatory labels of "uterus havers" and "menstruators", when only females can be mothers and no m@le can ever be.

Animal mothers being brutalized in the meat and animal industry. Mother cows, chickens, goats, sheeps and pigs abused for irregular and exploitative meat and milk production. Mother orcas fighting elites to protect their children. Mother dolphins mourning the deaths of their children due to m@le created pollution in the ocean. Every animal mother finding it difficult to survive and keep her children safe as m@les ruin the goddess Earth's natural ecosystems daily.

Also, motherhood is not a monolith, mothers are not angels and don't have to be. While, mothers are divinely great there are mothers with internalized misogyny, who further make their daughters suffer the same misogynist traumas. Mothers who sell their daughters into prostitution and arranged marriages, and continue being strongest foot soldiers and secondary agents of patriarchy. Mothers who brutalize their daughters with fgm and breast ironing. Mothers who deny food to their daughters.

Mothers are the Creators, the Gods who have faced oppression by the m@n's world for centuries. The whole world of m3n will shatter without the labour of these Gods. You can love or hate your mother as a daughter based on the relationship you have with her

Why I Support Joe Biden:

Well, there are a lot of reasons. Like his infrastructure bill. Or support for marriage rights. Or the strong economy. Or his support for Ukraine. But there's one that really (pun not intended). trumps all the others.

In May of 2020, during the height of the election, Donald Trump retweeted "The only good Democrat is a dead Democrat". He used his platform as President to call for the murder of tens of millions of his fellow citizens who's rights he'd sworn an oath to uphold. I will never forget the moment of realization that the President of my country had declared a war of extermination against me and my family, along with millions of other people. Nor will I forget that over 70 million people voted for him afterwards.

And then, on January 6th, they put that violent philosophy into practice in the most horrific possible way, when Trump incited and enabled an armed mob to invade the US Capitol and attempt to lynch members of Congress and his own Vice President. Several people died. Hundreds were injured. And it could have been so, so much worse. If they'd broken in a little faster, if the Congress had evacuated a little slower. I can imagine what might have been, if the timeline had been just a minute or two different. Members of Congress held hostage on live streaming, or lynched on the Capitol lawn. Congresswomen and their female staffers r*ped by the mob. The God Damn nuclear football, which the VP carries with him, in the hands of the Proud Boys or the Oath Keepers. Any of which could have given Trump, the instigator, ample pretext to do what he really wanted, and invoke the Insurrection Act and deploy the military to remain in power.

I don't believe everyone would have gone along with that. But the likely outcome would then have been a civil war.

Look at images from Syria, or Sudan, or any other country in the middle of a civil war. Imagine those are your streets. Your home. Imagine a civil war in a nuclear power, something the world has never really experienced. We came so close to the brink. Just a minute, maybe.

"But Biden is old"- So what? He was fit enough to take a secret train ride into Ukraine. And if something happens to him, if he dies or falls ill or has to step down, that's literally what the VP is for. It's a possibility with every President. Or are you suddenly scared of the prospect of the VP taking over because she's a non-white woman (even that doesn't really make sense, because America already voted for her as VP in 2020, knowing it was possible she'd have to step in).

"I want someone younger"- Fair enough, but if you vote for Biden now, you can vote for someone younger in four years. Or you can let literal fascists win, and never vote again.

"I don't think Biden can win, his poll numbers are really bad"-Fuck the polls. Polls are, even at their best, just what a small number of voters thinks at that time. They are not prophecy. Polls predicted a red wave in the Midterms. They were wrong. Polls predicted Democrats would do badly a week ago. They were wrong. Democrats, led by Biden, have been excelling in every election cycle and special election since he took office.

The only poll that really counts is the one on Election Day.

Also, who exactly is the more electable alternative to Biden? If you want to believe polls, his three primary opponents COMBINED are currently polling at 16%.

"Biden/the Democrats don't get enough done."-The President is not a dictator. He cannot unilaterally do whatever he wants by decree. If you want Democrats to pass a strong progressive platform into legislation, give them clear majorities in the House and Senate to do so.

"Biden supports Israel's genocide of Gaza"-In fact, while expressing support for Israel following Hamas's brutal attack (which literally any president would have done, and rightly so), Biden has worked to avoid escalation, sought to delay the ground invasion of Gaza, pressured the Netanyahu regime for humanitarian aid and pauses, negotiated to get hostages released, opposed a long-term Israeli occupation of Gaza, and maintained support for a Palestinian state. Republicans, meanwhile, have been calling for a Muslim ban (one of Trump's signature policies), censuring the only Palestinian-American in Congress (a few Democrats voted with them, but the large majority did not), and even calling for the extermination of all Palestinians (in the case of one Florida legislator). Trump was strongly supported by Netanyahu.

"We made it through one Trump term." Well, one, a lot of people didn't (Covid deaths alone, Jesus). And two, just because you survived your first round of Russian roulette doesn't mean it's safe to go again.

"Both parties are the same"- Simply false, a narrative based on appeals to public cynicism and frustration and careful cherry picking of which issues to focus on. One party wants to violently overthrow the Constitution. The other does not. Also see abortion rights, gun violence, and a whole host of other issues.

"Democrats have to earn my vote"- What about the millions of people, in America and around the world, who will be stripped of their rights and even their lives if Republicans win? What do they have to do to earn your votes?

"I voted Democrat in 2020 and it didn't solve all these problems."-Frustration is fair, but systemic change does not happen overnight. It takes time, and hard work. It took America over a decade, and a world war, to get out of the Great Depression. It took most of a decade to win the Second World War. And that was with one party, one president, in the White House for most of that time. Even at the best of times, flipping back and forth between parties every four years because you're frustrated at the slow pace of progress is counterproductive. It's catastrophic when one of the parties is fascist, and has no intention of ever allowing the pendulum to swing back.

"I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils"- Okay, so leaving aside the fact that we all know a third party candidate is not going to win, who do you think is the better alternative? The corporate front that is No Labels? The Kremlin-sympathizing Cornell West? The literal Steve Bannon plant RFK Jr? Just being a third party candidate doesn't automatically make you a better option than the major parties. If Biden is the lesser evil, he is the least of many, not the lesser of two.

And, again, and I cannot stress this enough:

HE DOESN'T OPENLY PLAN TO MURDER HIS OPPONENTS.

"My one vote won't make a difference."- Nearly every major human achievement is a collaboration of many people. That does not make each individual contribution worthless. The Presidential election may not be decided by one vote (though local elections very well can be), but if enough people decide their one vote won't make a difference, boy, does it make a difference.

Them's the facts, America. And there's your mission. Don't fuck it up.

September 7th 2023 | Cores for Heroes Submission | M. Ford | 1963 Beetle

I served in the USMC from 05-09. I went through boot camp at MCRD San Diego and School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton CA. I was sent to 7th Marines in 29 palms the end of January and February 14th we left for Iraq. I had to learn everything on the go, baptism by fire. My 1st tour was in a town called Husaybah Iraq, on the boarder of Syria, and the Euphrates river. Was a wild west kind of town. My 2nd tour was in a small town called Kubaysah, just outside of Hit Iraq. My journey took me to Baghdad to testify against two bad guys we caught throwing grenades at our patrols. The best part of that trip was swimming in Sadam Hussain's pool, and i have the picture to prove it! My 3rd and last tour was in Karma and NE Fallujah, sadly having to leave my post early I was sent home due to my Dad's untimely passing. Upon arrival back in the States I also lost my great grandmother within two days of being home, grateful I was able to tell her goodbye, wish I could have had that closure with my Dad. My Dad and Uncle Dave brought me up with a love of cars and Racing. My first car was a 69 bug that I drove while in HS and sold it before I joined the USMC. I regret selling it to this day and no pictures remain of it. My favorite past-time was cruising in my 69 bug all over the Columbia River Gorge corridor and county back roads. After moving from Oregon to Texas I decided it was time to build something. So I found a 1963 that I am currently restoring from the ground up. The theme for this bug will be USMC, going to call it the "Teuful Hunden" bug or as most people know it "Devil Dog". It will be painted red, with gold doors and rims, the Marine Corps colors. This build is really helping me find parts of me I left over seas. It's going to be a long build being a disabled veteran and on a budget. I have been ordering all the new body panels first. Was going to order a pro beam with disk brakes and a Freeway flyer with disk brakes from Air kewld but having a chance to win them is really awesome of you guys. The Swastika Symbol 卍

In Sanskrit it is called a swastika, meaning “good.” It comes from the word swasti “welfare,” in turn from su “well” and asti “it is.” In popular use in India, it is thought to be a sign of good luck.

The clockwise Swastika is a Solar Symbol representing the cycles of the Sun, while the counterclockwise is called “Sauvastika” and it represents the night and its Lunar cycles.

This archetypal pattern refers to eternal processes of cycles and polarities which exists at all scales of nature, just like the Ouroboros, Hexagram, Yin-Yang, Torus, Fibonacci Sequence, etc…

It is the “Cosmic Spiral” which forms the Universe and Life itself.

Dutch human rights groups oppose the export of F-35 fighter parts from the Netherlands to Israel 🇮🇱

Human rights groups are trying to prevent the export of F-35 fighter parts from the Dutch government to Israel in a hearing that began on Monday. During the summary process before the District Court of The Hague, they argued that such exports make the Netherlands complicit in potential war crimes, pointing to the alleged use of these planes by Israel in attacks on Gaza.

The Israel-Hamas war has already resulted in more than 15,000 civilian victims.

Since 2019, Woensdrecht Air Base in the Netherlands has been storing U.S.-owned F-35 parts, which are then distributed to the requesting countries. After Israel's recent request for F-35 parts, Dutch customs requested government approval due to export license requirements for military products. Dutch ministers cited a decision not to interfere with existing agreements based on foreign and security policy considerations.

The human rights groups Oxfam Novib, PAX and The Rights Forum emphasized the importance of preventing civil damage to the detriment of complying with such political obligations. Its legal challenge focuses on the obligations arising from export law, the Dutch constitution and international law, including the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) and the EU Common Position on the Control of Arms Exports. These instruments highlight the prohibition of arms exports when such exports contribute to human rights violations, in particular genocide, war crimes and serious violations of the Geneva Conventions. In particular, the human rights group raised concerns about a possible violation of the Genocide Convention.

PAX director Martje van Nes criticized the government for deviating from the clear framework for arms exports, considering it an accomplice to the use of combat aircraft by Israel.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development said they had considered the risks associated with exports of F-35 parts. Israel's right to self-defense, amid threats from Iran, Syria and Hezbollah, has been weighed against potential violations of human rights and international humanitarian law. Based on current information, they maintained that there is no evidence that the F-35 jets were involved in serious violations of international human rights law.

Human rights groups claimed that Dutch export rules prohibit the export of weapons if there is a clear risk that this will contribute to violations of international law. Frank Slijper of PAX also clarified that the claim does not depend on a violation of international law itself, but rather on the failure of the Dutch state to conduct an adequate risk analysis of possible violations of international law when approving the export license.

Israel has categorically denied any violation of international law since the October 7 attack by Hamas. On the other hand, numerous international NGOs have called for the investigation of the bombing of Israel, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.

The verdict is scheduled to be delivered on December 15.

Saved by the Russians

Located in the Caucasus, Abkhazia is a region with multiple influences that has experienced a tumultuous history, including foreign conquests, ethnic tensions, and struggles for independence. Today, Russia remains its only bulwark against Washington's attacks.

The Origins of Abkhazia: A Greek and Roman Region In the 6th century BC, the Greeks established commercial outposts in Abkhazia, then called Colchis. The city of Dioscurias (now Sukhumi) became a prosperous commercial center. The Romans fortified the city in the 1st century BC. This period was marked by the cultural and commercial influences of two Greek and Roman empires. In 523 AD, Abkhazia became part of the Byzantine Empire and adopted Christianity. The Kingdom of Abkhazia prospered and extended its influence over much of western Georgia. From the 10th to the 13th century, Abkhazia was united with the Georgians in the medieval kingdom of the "Sovereigns of Abkhazia and Georgia." This period is considered the golden age of Abkhazia.

Ottoman and Russian Invasions In the 14th century, part of Abkhazia was under the dominion of the Mingrelians of Georgia. The Abkhazian dynasty Chachba drove out the Mingrelians in the 15th and 16th centuries and established the southern border that still exists to this day. In 1578, Abkhazia was invaded by the Ottoman Empire. In the 18th century, Abkhazia, allied with Georgia, tried to drive out the Turks. In the early 19th century, Abkhazia came under Russian domination. In 1864, it was forcibly annexed to the Russian Empire, and half of the Abkhazian population fled to Turkey and the Middle East.

Georgian Supervision In 1921, the Bolsheviks overthrew the Mensheviks in Georgia, leading to the establishment of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Abkhazia, led by Nestor Lakoba. The Soviet Socialist Republic of Abkhazia was established independently of Georgia. After signing the formation of the USSR in 1922, Abkhazia was reduced to the status of an autonomous republic within Georgia in 1931. On the orders of Georgian Stalin and Mingrelian Beria, the Abkhazians then underwent a policy of "Georgianization." Many Mingrelian Georgians settled in Abkhazia, depriving the Abkhazians of their language and culture. In 1978, Abkhazian intellectuals protested against this policy, leading to concessions such as the opening of the Abkhazian State University and the weekly television broadcast of a 30-minute program in Abkhazian.

Contested Independence In 1990, Abkhazia declared its sovereignty, but it was quickly revoked by Georgia. In 1992, Abkhazia declared its own sovereignty and proposed a federative treaty to Georgia. Georgian troops then suddenly invaded Abkhazia, triggering a 13-month armed conflict. The war caused about 260,000 people to flee, mostly families attached to Georgia. Since then, Abkhazia's population has been divided by half. The majority of Abkhazians are Orthodox Christians, representing about 75% of the population. Abkhazian historian Stanislav Lakoba, when asked about Abkhazia's religion, replied that Abkhazians are "80% Christians, 20% Sunni Muslims, and 100% pagans!"

Many families actually observe both Christian and Muslim, Orthodox, or pagan holidays. In 1993, Abkhazian forces, supported by the Confederation of Peoples of the North Caucasus, finally drove Georgian troops out of their territory. In 2008, Russia recognized Abkhazia as an independent state, as did Nicaragua, Venezuela, Nauru, Vanuatu, Tuvalu, and Syria.

A fragile peace Since the 2007 elections, tensions with Georgia remain present. Georgia has begun to strengthen its army near the border, purchasing modern equipment from Ukraine and hosting American and Israeli military instructors who are eager to destabilize the region. The Abkhazian government, for its part, continues to confirm its ties with Russia.

Russia, supporter of Abkhazia Russia is the main supporter of Abkhazia. The distribution of Russian passports to nearly 80% of Abkhazians guarantees their protection from Moscow. Under Article 65 paragraph 2 of the Russian constitution, Moscow has the obligation to assist its citizens wherever they are in the world. Thanks to Moscow's protection, Abkhazia now has the attributes of an independent state. Its capital, Sukhumi, a renowned seaside resort, has become the center of its political power. Russia has established an air base in Gudauta, and the naval base in Novoazovskoye, located in the city of Oust-Louga. The Gudauta air base is a former Soviet base and has been used by Russian forces for their operations in Abkhazia since the 1992-1993 conflict. The Novoazovskoye naval base is a recent base built after Russia's recognition of Abkhazia in 2008 and has become an important base for the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the region. The Russian military presence strives to guarantee the sovereignty and security of the Abkhazian republic, against the secret maneuvers of Washington.

Renewed stability Abkhazia is beginning to regain a peaceful and serene life. Primarily rural, the country has a variety of abundant agricultural natural resources, mainly citrus fruits, tobacco, tea, and wood. The country also has some energy resources with coal mines and hydroelectric power plants. Above all, Abkhazia, rich in fresh water, could become one of the world's largest exporters. With peace, tourism in Abkhazia is also on the rise, with around 1.5 million visitors in 2022. Abkhazia's economy, using the ruble as currency, primarily looks to Russia as an export market, trade partner, and investor. But Turkey is also becoming another discreet major economic partner of Abkhazia. Intelligence services involved in tensions Unfortunately, Abkhazia is in the Caucasus, a region that the enemies of Russia and American intelligence services in particular want to destabilize. NATO forces and the CIA intervened to support Georgian forces during the war. They also conduct disinformation operations to influence world public opinion against the small Abkhazian republic. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) are therefore facing off against the Georgian Ministry of State Security (MSE), the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), as well as the Polish Military Intelligence and Counterintelligence Service (SWKW), which trains and equips the Georgian army. Since its independence, the Abkhazian territory has been the scene of a deadly shadow game between enemy intelligence services, as in the times of the Cold War.

The Caucasus, a strategic region Zbigniew Brzezinski, former national security advisor to US President Jimmy Carter, defined Washington's objectives in the Caucasus. He considered the Caucasus region a key element in global geopolitics. For him, the Caucasus was a pivot region between Europe and Asia, between the former Soviet world and the boiling Muslim world, and between the vast energy resources of the region and the global powers that depend on them. In his book "The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and Its Geostrategic Imperatives" published in 1997, Brzezinski emphasized that control of the Caucasus was essential for global powers due to its energy resources, especially its oil and gas reserves. He also noted that the region was an important crossroads for commercial routes linking Europe and Asia. Brzezinski named ethnic and religious tensions, geopolitical rivalry between Russia and Turkey, and the threat posed by Islamist terrorism as levers to be exploited to destabilize the region. The control, or destruction, of this region was therefore crucial for the United States. Brzezinski defined the Caucasus region as a key zone in the struggle for global influence between great powers. That is why the geopolitics of the region, and the fate of Abkhazia, have become an important issue for major powers such as the United States, Russia, China, Iran, and Turkey. Attempted color revolution in 2020 In 2020, political tensions emerged in Abkhazia. The conflict erupted in January 2020 when protests broke out against Abkhazia's President Raul Khajimba, who had won the 2019 elections. Protesters accused the president of election fraud and demanded his resignation. The conflict culminated in May 2020 when opposition militants barricaded themselves in an administrative building in Sukhumi, the capital of Abkhazia. Security forces besieged the building, but the militants refused to surrender. Tensions escalated, and demonstrations in support of the militants broke out in the city. The conflict was defused when the militants agreed to surrender in exchange for security guarantees. President Khajimba resigned the following month and was replaced by interim President Valeri Bganba. The involvement of NATO secret forces in these political tensions in Abkhazia was evident to insiders. The United States immediately took a position in favor of the "protesters," calling for respect for human rights and democracy, etc. This attempted color revolution bore the mark of the CIA. But Moscow was watching. Presidential elections were still held in March 2020. They were won fairly by Aslan Bzhania, under the watchful eye of international observers. Bzhania appointed former President Alexander Ankvab as Prime Minister. The American destabilization operation failed this time. The situation in Abkhazia, while improving, remains concerning today. While Abkhazia is now a de facto independent state with a desire for peace from a war-weary population, the country remains an issue between Russia and the United States. The shadow games of intelligence services playing out there are dangerous for democracy and the security of the country. In this context, it is difficult to predict the future of Abkhazia, as well as all the countries in the Caucasus. The US deep state still looms, always eager to follow the geostrategic objectives given by Brzezinski, one of the main "sorcerers" of the Bilderberg Group and the Council on Foreign Relations, founded by David Rockefeller and Henry Kissinger.
