I think it’s be funny to have a Spider-Man that is genuinely just a kid, not like a teenager or a kid who understands the gravity of his abilities but a kid who does heroics simply because that’s cool to a kid.

The gimmick is that the villains think it’s a gimmick and Spider-Man(?) fucks with them by acting like a kid to make ‘em feel bad or embarrass them only for them to realize he’s a literal child due to a forced team up where they like offer him a brewski afterwards and he’s legitimately like “Mr I am 9 years old, I just do this cause my aunt can’t take me to the park every afternoon.” And they grill him on adult things and he sits there just blanking cause he’s fucking 9.

The putrid stench of alcohol, vomit, blood, and urine makes you gag. The castle is piled with layers and layers of dust, with broken furniture hurled in every corner. Curtains are drawn, leaving little light despite the bright sun outside. Outside… outside is another nightmare, with a little graveyard filled with piked corpses.

Although you feel a mix of satisfaction and rage at the corpses that stand in front of the castle doors, you can't stop your delight. Not after all that you have witnessed. If it had been you, death would not have come so easy to those traitors. Hushing the snarling voice in your mind, you focus your attention on the present.

You train your eyes on the unmoving figure in the living room of the giant castle. How long has it been? How long have you been left to wither in this isolation? Stepping closer, you can see him now that darkness no longer cloaks him.

With quiet motions, you kneel down to the dhampir who lies unmoving, covered in his own vomit and blood. Blood has clotted, forming numerous scars on his arms. You spy older scars that make your fists clench in wrath. Uncaring of the filth surrounding you, you gently wipe the golden-haired man's face. Your hands tremble as you feel the cold skin under your fingers. The rightness of your bond goes futile with the situation you find your mate in.

"I'm sorry," you whisper, your heart begging for forgiveness. "Forgive me."

Your heart whispers to the unresponsive dhampir in your arms. Pushing away the matted hair, you truly look at his face, and the breath you don't need to live gets stuck in your throat. Your mate is magnificent, even in the state you have found him in.

Your mate, your mind whispers with a vicious possessiveness. "Ours," the voice snarls again, enraged at the scars. Yet, the voice gets no reply from you. With shaking hands, you continue weaving your fingers through the golden hair.

"Forgive me," you speak, your voice quivering. "Forgive me and let me make this right, please…" you whisper, a tear rolling down your cheek and landing on the pale face in your lap.

You would grovel and beg. You would do everything to make up for your delay and the pain it has caused your person. And so, with a smooth movement, you get up from your position, carrying your mate in your arms.

You have your work cut out for you.

Never noticed in the first 2 episodes, but Genlong is left-handed. I don't think it gets attention called to it, but when she's working/drawing she's holding the pencil left-handed. I assume this isn't particularly meaningful, and is just because Grace (the actress) is left-handed, but putting it out there as a little detail fic writers could use.

its not really a new thing for me to say that i kinda hate the whole 'werewolf pack' kinda thing for a few reasons, but i dont like, entirely hate it yknow

like my main thing is i like characters having a sortve isolated angsty ass time(i wonder why /s), and werewolves are great for angst! so putting the two together is like. oh hell yes. but thats just a me thing

but also for some reason almost every depiction ive seen of werewolves and werewolf packs has been like... 'their nature/instincts/whatever makes this happen' like, they cant resist it because its something theyre basically forced to do by their biology. ive seen it be blood families, ive seen it be random people who just met and theyre basically bound by the universe i guess, blah blah blah

and idk, i hate that. of course, almost everyone and almost every species has it in their nature to be social and need connection, but its not portrayed like that in these cases. its portrayed more like theyll basically die if they for whatever reason reject it or something, and that their loyalty is their entire life or whatever. idk, its hard to describe.

i think its kinda obvious that im leading this up to found family. who doesnt love found family? who doesnt love when people and characters choose the people that they want to spend their lives with, whether blood is involved or not.

and theres no instinct part of it for me, its just people who want/need support from others, and they find people they love, and you could call it a pack but i just personally wouldnt. its just like any other relationship tbh, but its obv cuter as a group :p

and if it happens to be other werewolves, or other monsters, or even just humans... thats their people that they chose.
