a lot of interest has been expressed in doing a big bang type event, which i would love to do!! i wanted to get it going for about late summer/early fall, but time has sure gotten away from me this year. but next year.....👀👀👀

in the meantime!! I would still like to do something in the fall! i think a lot of you have been looking forward to woevember again, but i'd like to know if there's any other low-key event idea people have in mind to do? i definitely want to keep it a smaller, more casual event, since we had a big one earlier in the year.

I'm betting it's all Philippa and Dijkstra's fault, too!

They went from referring to him as "Prince Seed-Waste", to "Radovid the Stern" when he became King.

Then, hundreds of years later, historians found some copies of their personal correspondences, mistakenly believed that it was what Radovid's people actually called him (rather than a very inappropriate nickname that the two spymasters had come up with for him), and therefore deduced that he must have been a very strict and authoritarian ruler!

Nah, he was just a very, very gay king that decided that if his dad had been allowed to marry a noblewoman and his brother a princess that couldn't give him any children, he was going to do both by marrying himself a viscount, gods dammit!

For those unfamiliar, @fandomtrumpshate is an online multifandom charity auction that raises money for progressive nonprofits. Creators offer fanwork in any form (art, fic, podfic, beta reading, you name it), and other people bid on said fanworks by pledging donations.

It's a super cool event... and I am completely torn on whether or not to sign up to offer fanfiction again in 2023.

So, perhaps putting my current indecisiveness into poll form will help me attain some level of clarity!

(Whether because the results will make me say "yep, that's definitely the right course of action," or because I'll look at the results and go "nope, I absolutely refuse to adhere to that decision.")
