thinking bout twitch's red honey situation. thought too much and now i'm wondering stuff,,,in nemesis Especially, it says that the pain of the honey being consumed comes from the feeling of someone being inside your memories when you can feel they're not supposed to be,,,so
if twitch has absolutely no recollection of their past memories, would it still hurt if people ate the honey harvested from them?? i'd guess it would but they'd have no idea why??
if twitch's ""memories"" were sourced from red honey made of other people's memories. does it cause the original victims pain anytime twitch "recalls" it?? they're technically not supposed to be in those memories....they got into them via red honey, and just never left?? which has horrifying implications maybe. oh god

OTPs  +  nOTPs  +  Dark Link
Tumblr media
OTPs:
Link x Dark Link. Specifically Dark Link and @hyaciiintho 's Ocarina of Time Link. Longest, most developed ship I have and also our FFXIV characters. :) The ONLY OoT Link I will ever ship with... HOWEVER, my Dark is open for shipping with other Links! Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, BOTW/TOTK... let's do it! I just love Dark x Link in general. There's a reason it's called ' Darlink. ' Sounds like Darling, right?
Malon x Dark Link. The first person to ever show him kindness in a world extremely cruel to him otherwise. He's got the tiniest little crush on her, as a result.
Zelda x Dark Link. Loads of potential with this one, and I've actually written some REALLY good ZelDark in the past!
Midna x Dark Link. Let him be your Twilight Knight. ;)
Tentatively, Ganondorf x Dark Link. Definitely leans more on the toxic side, depending on how someone writes his or her Ganondorf, but I've written it before and I am MORE than willing to write it again. It was SO much fun.
nOTPs:
Besides the obvious no-nos? Absolutely nothing. Dark is my longest, most fleshed out muse. I could literally throw him into any verse/universe/AU and best believe it'll make sense, which means he is EXTREMELY easy to ship with... plus, considering how lonely and desperate for love and attention he is? It all practically writes itself after a while, lmfao.

I love your blog! It's so special!
Demri Parrott is well-known for her unique style. I was wondering what were her outfits/staple pieces/accessories that she'd typically wear when she wasn't taking photos/doing photoshoots?
Thanks so much!
Aaaww thanks a million for your compliment :)
So we will share again the Demri Parrott book we assembled with Ana that you can find on Drive.
Some of her friends say:
Barbara Dearaujo: “Demri was a fashion nut. She loved everything vintage. Victorian style dresses, 70’s stuff, overalls and combat boots. She wore things no one else could even try to pull off without looking like a weirdo but she always seemed to make the weirdest things look cute and cool... In the early 90’s she dressed in all kinds of crazy yet cute clothes, anything retro or vintage. She loved long dresses, skirts, tutus, overalls and Doc Martins, hand-made clothes, she never really wore jeans and t-shirts, it was always something you’d never think of wearing but looked great on her and made you wish you would thought of this type of thing but even if you had it probably wouldn’t of looked as cool on you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Photos 1 & 2 by Krista Kay, photo 3 by Jack Plasky]
Ryan Kalsbeck: “Layne and Dem had that full on vintage clothing styles mixed with a hippie, new grunge rock twist. Homemade glass beaded long necklaces and bracelets, funky hats, hair sticks. Dem had pink lace and satin knickers that were real and from the 1900s.”
Cindy Reframe: “... she would be wearing the Levi’s cutoffs with tights, flannel shirt, combat boots and black leather jacket, ... sometimes wear kind of like babydoll dresses with combat boots or something like that.”
Tumblr media
[In 1990 at Dexter Ave, shared by Chay Wilkerson Moore]
Sherri: “She would always wear the rolled up overalls with black tights."
Tracy Johnson: "... A lot of things she wore didn’t go together, like long johns with big baggy overall shorts and a frilly blouse with cowboy boots. It doesn’t make a lot of sense but you would have to know Demri to understand.”

[Various of Demri wearing specially long maxi skirts]
Hope that helps! :)

for Link: 💽 "Do you collect anything? Why?"
Tumblr media
“Recipes.” He answers alongside the swift cut of a blade through the air. Link’s blue eyes meet Kohga’s mask for a brief moment. “I like to cook.”
A short pause…
“And rocks.”
With that, Link goes back to his training as though no words were spoken at all.

👥 taddy
Send ‘👥‘ for 4 hcs about our muses relationship or about your muse @wellsinvesting
The first thing he felt when Ria told him she met somebody and they were completely in love and that Sada's introduced them, was worry, hesitancy, caution. Anyone related to Sada had him on high alerts, almost half wanted to dissuade Ria from this man, but he stopped himself, knowing like everything with Sada, it'll only spun out of control into arguments again. But then when they first met, Ria introduced them over a day out, Tad was not who Ash was expecting. His own guard was up but Tad greeted him with open arms, being his bro in less than 5 minutes. It was almost hard to imagine him being one of Sada's guys. Ash tries not to let his guard completely down, knowing that would exactly be something Sada would hope for if she's ever bored, but Tad was very good at chipping away at people.
Tad often consults Ash on the weirdest things, NASA's upcoming research, SpaceX, Elon Musk, Ashton was always more focused on the academic side of things but he still kept an ear in the industry and business as stupid as he thinks it is sometimes. Commercializing space was not something Ash believes should be happening right now, but hey, rich people will do whatever rich people want, Ashton won't pretend to understand what's it like having no debt and an unlimited supply of money. He can only control his own actions and what he can do to contribute to the study of space. Tad sometimes try to slip him some cash as thanks for the large amount of profits he made from Ash's consultancy but he's rejected them every single time.
Ash offered to help build Tad a makeshift coop and pen for the chicken and chicks up on the roof with some chicken wire mesh they found available, afraid of their vulnerability to the bigger birds that would certainly prey on them if possible. One inside the greenhouse and the other by the outside garden.
At Tad's and Ria's wedding, it was beautiful and all that but Ash also found it too loud after awhile as the party went on, often finding solace in the quiet stairwell before being found and pulled right back into the joyous occasion.

My thoughts on Link? He's awful. A complete menace. Can't stand that guy. I wish I could just make him go away!
Tumblr media
There's the knight now tilting his head to one side now, not that his face showed it much but he had wondered what he had done to offend or upset the masked one. Arms folded softly across his chest though now, maybe he should just walk away and leave them alone. But a soft voice left his lips instead, something that was rare for him to do was to speak.
"...Did I do something to you?"

There might be a flustered moment in which the knight looks away, totally not subtly trying to look back after a moment or so though - it's not very subtle.

when you say ganon can walk a good or bad path—what would be the deciding factor in which he finds himself along a ‘good’ one?
ooc ; Ultimately, it would come down to finding something to protect - be it a home, a person, a family, whatever becomes important enough to him that he would use all of his power to protect it.
The way I envision the Triforce of Power is that it was originally created with the intention to give its wielder the power of protection - but somewhere along the way, be it due to Demise's influence or greed of a previous bearer, Power corrupted into what we see in the games with Ganondorf.
So, for a 'good' path - as an example, I wrote something a while back about the potential of Ganon developing a brotherly bond to Riju and using Power to protect her. That desire to keep her safe would be the deciding factor.

You not online? It shows you are?
Usually I take messages like this and ignore or delete them, but for the sake of things Nonnie, I'm going to take this as a serious inquiry.
I saw your previous ask, and I will likely answer it, but here's the thing: I am an adult almost in my thirties, with a full-time job and a long commute. I have other hobbies than Tumblr as well. I also very rarely do anything more than lurk or browse on my phone, as I dislike mobile applications for writing, and far prefer my desktop computer.
Your original ask was sent in the middle of my work day, and it was a rough one. I saw the notification, read it, and was thinking how best to answer when I got home. But then you sent this.
I'm busy. I have a life. I have other commitments. Even if I'm online, that doesn't mean that I am available for responses. I might be in the bathroom at work killing time, or on my break/lunch with limited time to myself.
Just keep in mind Nonnie that most folks have a real life. Most of the RPC that I know - in any fandom, these days - is made up of those of us now in our mid-twenties to mid-thirties, and thus have lives outside of our blogs. Whether it's in-depth hobbies, a significant other, kids, other blogs, family, commutes, school and/or work....we all have something else going on. Don't be so impatient for an answer that you assume a little green dot means someone is actually online.

Hi! Love your sonia characterisation and from your ooc posting, I see your tastes are great~ Can I ask the mun: do you have any recommendations for books or TV series? c:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi anon! Thank you so much for your kind words regarding my IC content and OOC ramblings, that's really nice of you to say. I'm happy to recommend some things (I admit I did a 'Stitch laughing maniacally on a pile of wreckage' when I got this ask because anon, I am not sure you know what you have asked to unleash!).
However, I wasn't sure if you were asking for recommendations for books/TV series that have directly inspired my Sonia portrayal, or recommendations of things I enjoy in general. With that in mind, I'm going to be sharing a long list of books, TV series, manga/webtoons, and story-based video games that I just happen to like.
If you're looking for media that has directly inspired my portrayal though, please send another ask and I'd be happy to narrow it down for you!
In order not to keep the dash tidy, everything is under a cut, with notes (some important, some just me making jokes) beside a few of them. I hope you find a new favorite book/series to enjoy!
Books:
General Notes: For book series where the first book title isn't the series name, I've indicated which book to start with, save for the historical romances because that's easier to find online and there's a lot of them. I hope that helps! Additionally, for all romance series, assume that there is some mention of sexual content in various degrees of description, aka. "spice." Depending on your comfort level of literary sex, I highly recommend checking out each title on https://www.romance.io/ for their spice level rating, at the very least. The site will also show you tropes found in each book as well as reviews.
Contemporary Romance:
The Time-Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
American Royals series by Katharine McGee
Crazy Rich Asians series by Kevin Kwan (way, way better than the movie! It's a trilogy, followed by China Rich Girlfriend and Rich People Problems. I'd highly recommend this if you are writing a modern wealthy character of East Asian descent. Yes it's romance, humor, and contemporary family drama, but it gives what's apparently a very accurate look at high society)
Spoiler Alert by Olivia Dade (if you are looking for contemporary romance with plus size heroines, you want to check out Olivia Dade! Also Mary Warren and for young adult romance, Kelsie Stelting)
Modern Royals series by Aven Ellis (start with A Royal Shade of Blue)
The Royal Runaway by Lindsay Emory
The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan (and its sequel, The Heir Affair)
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston (this was better than Red, White, and Royal Blue, IMO)
Fantasy Romance:
Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas
Crescent City series by Sarah J. Maas
A note about SJM series: I highly suggest reading TOG or ACOTAR first, with the understanding the first three or so TOG books and the first ACOTAR books have a slower pace and are more about worldbuilding than anything else. Read Crescent City after these two (CC 1 is also a big, long worldbuilding book). You must read ACOTAR to read CC, but you do not need to read TOG to read CC (though you'll miss some of the references/easter eggs!).
The Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros (Start with Fourth Wing)
The Shepherd King duology by Rachel Gillig (Start with One Dark Window)
The All-Souls Trilogy/series by Deborah Harkness (Start with A Discovery of Witches)
Historical Romance:
Don't Want You Like a Best Friend by Emma Alban
Love by Numbers series by Sarah MacLean (start with Nine Rules to Break While Romancing a Rake. If you finish this series and like her writing, move on to the Bareknuckle Bastards series and the Rules of Scoundrels series)
Spindle Cove series by Tessa Dare (start with A Night to Surrender. If you liked this series, move on to the Castles Ever After series and the Girl Meets Duke series)
pretty much anything by Lisa Kleypas (Bridgerton fans? This is how you get over your hangover/wait between finishing the books and/or Season 3. start with the Wallflowers or the Hathaways series, then move onto the Ravenels and the Bow Street Runners series. This is mostly historically the chronological order with crossover characters between the Wallflowers and Hathaways. Bow Street Runners is chronologically before Wallflowers but it's disappointing if you read it first, trust me!)
everything by Jane Austen. Just everything.
Series/books I'm in the middle of/currently on my TBR list so I can't recommend them fully yet but I'm actively reading them:
The Folk of the Air series by Holly Black (start with The Cruel Prince)
Letters of Enchantment duology by Rebecca Ross (start with Divine Rivals)
Crowns of Nyaxia series by Carissa Broadbent (Start with The Serpent and the Wings of Night)
Hades x Persephone saga by Scarlett St. Clair (Start with A Touch of Darkness)
The Shadow and Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo (and Six of Crows. And everything else: I've yet to dive into Bardugo's series)
A League of Extraordinary Women series by Evie Dunmore (Start with Bringing Down the Duke)
Royals series by Rachel Hawkins (start with Prince Charming)
Infamous by Lex Croucher
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree
Deliciously Dark Fairytales series by K.F. Greene (Start with A Ruin of Roses)
TV series:
Downton Abbey (my love for this show runs deep. It changed my life!)
The Gilded Age (Carrie Coon deserves an Emmy for this at some point I s2g)
The Crown (Claire Foy is the best QEII, Elizabeth Debicki is the best Diana, Josh O'Connor is the best Charles)
Gossip Girl (original 2007 series, not the remake)
The Royals (the E! show)
Succession (Come for Brian Cox emotionally and verbally harass his children, stay for Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Matthew MacFayden, Conheads, and a Ludicrously Capacious Bag.)
The White Lotus (Tanya is ICONIC.)
Miss Scarlet and the Duke
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (If you like Miss Scarlet, I can almost guarantee you will like Miss Fisher. And vice-versa.)
All Creatures Great and Small (the remake)
Sanditon
Black Mirror
Skins (UK series only)
Sex Education
The IT Crowd (the creator is an ass. The show is eternal.)
The Great
The Sopranos
The Empress
The Fall of the House of Usher
Midnight Mass (arguably the best Flanagan series. Fight me.)
Marie Antoinette (2022 TV series)
Dickinson
Euphoria
Stranger Things
The Tudors
Versailles
Unforgotten
Endeavour (you don't need to have seen Inspector Morse beforehand but it helps contextualize where some of this cast ends up in the future! Endeavour is the best murder mystery show ever written, IMO. Unforgotten is a close contender for second place.)
Outlander
Sherlock
Mad Men
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
American Horror Story (earlier seasons are way better than the later ones)
Gentleman Jack
Ted Lasso
Emily in Paris
Pride and Prejudice (the 1995 miniseries with Colin Firth)
Books and TV (that is, read and watch both!):
Bridgerton (books by Julia Quinn)
Magpie Murders (books by Anthony Horowitz. One of my few book recs that isn't a romance! Horowitz is a wonderful contemporary mystery writer)
Webtoons/manga:
(Because some people prefer manga/webtoons to novels! I have read all of these on MangaKatana. Mostly fantasy romance and contemporary romance, several have been made into J or K-dramas)
Under The Oak Tree
See You In My 19th Life
What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?
Like Wind on a Dry Branch
Marriage of Convenience
Father, I Don't Want to Get Married!
We Are Not Ourselves Today
An Hour of Romance
Innocent (The sole historical drama over here. Every sex and violence trigger warning you can imagine applies to this manga. It is also one of the most beautifully-drawn and intriguing stories I've ever read. Rose of Versailles fans, this is for you: this is your fave but darker.)
Marry My Husband
Video games with excellent storytelling:
(mostly. These are primarily otome games, mystery visual novels, and horror visual novels):
Zero Escape: The Nonary Games (there are three games in this series: 999, Virtue's Last Reward, and Zero Time Dilemma)
AI: The Somnium Files (There are currently two games in this series, AITSF and AITSF: Nirvana Initiative. Zero Escape and Somnium Files are basically required to play after Danganronpa. I said what I said: the storytelling is better)
Code: Realize (The best storytelling of all otome games, hands down. Do not watch the anime: it sucks. The first game is the best and really the only one you need to play. The other two games have okay side stories and are mostly romantic continuations of the first game's routes)
Collar x Malice
Cupid Parasite (mostly for the last two routes, though: if you're using a walkthrough guide. Generally much lighter than your usual otome...save for the last two routes that serve to break you.)
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (you could watch both seasons of the original anime if you really want to, but the games are better)
Umineko no Naku Koro ni (Note: please keep in mind this was written 10+ years ago in Japan, especially when you get to the Big Reveals in the final game. There are Some Takes that would go over poorly today. Like Code: Realize, do not watch the anime: IT SUCKS.)
Spirit Hunter: Death Mark
Spirit Hunter: NG (You don't technically have to play Death Mark first but it makes one of the endings far more impactful if you do!)
Honorable mentions:
Hakuoki (so many routes, so very long! But if you like Japanese history around this time, you may like this)
Olympia Soiree (good on the more mature content, bad on some of the LIs giving me pause like 'this is not a good romance idea')
Amnesia: Memories (I'm not a fan of the female main character or two of the LIs. At all.)
Piofiore (Similar complaints as Amnesia.)

What caused you to start writing? What was your key point?
Questions for the Mun - [ ACCEPTING ] ;;
Tumblr media
I don't recall the exact moment I started writing, to be honest. I've always been passionate about writing and reading to the point I spent an insane amount of money getting a degree for it ( SIGH ), so I guess, in a way, I've always been doing it? My roleplaying days started back on Gaia Online many, MANY moons ago, then went to IMVU, then came here, and I've been on Tumblr ever since... I think for, roughly, about 10 or so years? Knowing me, I saw a roleplay blog in passing and decided to give it a try. Now, it has consumed me. OTL

What specific songs/music genres did Demri enjoy? Thank you!
She, of course, loved grunge and Alice in Chains, but she also loved The Beatles and Cocteau Twins.
Fleedwood Mac's "Landslide" and Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" were her favourite songs.
Here's a link of a previous post with all the bands she loved:

[ flower ]  for  your  muse  to  offer  my  muse  their  favourite  flower 🌸。*゚+. From my Time to your Sky ♡
Yellow hibiscus, a simple sounding flower, yet held so much importance to the Hero of Sky.
To most, it symbolized sunshine, happiness, and good luck. But to Sky?
To him it symbolized home.
So, when he found himself being handed a particularly beautiful specimen of the flower, he couldn't help the smile that bloomed on his face as he looked up at the Hero of Time.
"Thank you, really! It's beautiful, Time. Thank you," he'd whisper, looking back down at the flower happily.
He truly was home with the other hero.
