Jenny paced back and forth in the kitchen. One hand to her mouth to bite her nails. Another on her stomach. It was way too soon and too small to show but, she was pregnant. She had gotten the news earlier in the day. She had her suspicions but, to have those finally confirmed...

She wasn't really sure how to feel. A part of her was giddy of course. They had talked about kids before so, she knew he wouldn't be mad but, were they really ready for this? She had already planned on a cute way to tell him but, now she couldn't stop the doubts. So, lost in thought about what to feel and how to reveal this she didn't notice when Shido came into the room.

"No problem." Jenny said softly. She then quickly lifted the shirt up and off of his frame. Her fingers then lightly traced his wound, and she couldn't help but frown. Her hand then seemed to have a mind of its own as she traced some of his scars. A twinge of pain sparking in her gut. Instead of saying anything she places a hand over his heart and then kisses his collarbone.

"Did you need any more help? Or are you ok?"

Darla just silently nodded her head. The girl didn't know much about make up. She didn't have much access to it to begin with and didn't understand how a lot of it worked. It was a bit embarrassing for her considering how old she really was. But, she figured there was no harm in asking Neff, right? After all, she always looked so pretty why not try to copy her?

"Really? Thanks! I'm not really good at makeup so, could you give me a few tips? I want to try wearing it more." She smiled.

"Yay! Thank you so much." Jenny smiled, absolutely overjoyed the other girl agreed to her request. She could have tried the styles on her own hair but, a lot of what she wanted to try worked better on longer hair. Not only that it was hard to practice on herself so, a best friend was the next best thing.

She was careful as she combed through her hair with her fingers. "Wow, your hair is so soft!" She complimented before she started to part it. "Hmmm. You might. I want to try out a couple different things if that's fine."

She then got to work on braiding her hair into a mix of a waterfall and normal braid. Getting a crown of braids around her head. She even braided a flower and pinned it to the back of her head.

Jenny had sighed when she got the formal invitation in the mail. On one hand, she was kinda glad Lina even bothered to remember to send her a personal invite. She usually just sent an invitation to her twin and was counted as his guest.

On the other hand, she really hated going. Sadly, this event always came in handy when it came to meeting new clients and continuing her work even if her boss took all her money away for one reason or another. Then as she was filling out the RSVP the thought to ask her fiancé to join her.

While, she didn't want to expose him to her work, work wouldn't really be discussed. At least, not outright so, it would be fine, right? That and it would give her a good chance to wear something pretty and introduce him to some of her friends. Plus, she did plan to quit her job soon so, this would be her last time attending.

"Hmmm. Mon chou, do you own any nice clothes? A.... friend of my brother wants me to go to a charity event. So, I was thinking you could come with me? I've gone to so many that I find them a bit boring."

“I feel like I should apologize to you.” Jenny starts, slow. Calculated. She was looking down at her lap where she was wringing her fingers. It was all she could do to stop her worse habits of scratching her arms or biting her nails.

“I.. I’ve been feeling… anxious? I-I don’t know. I don’t really know how I’ve been feeling or what I should call it. It’s just-" She stops. Taking a deep breath as she runs her hands through her hair before then cradling her head. She’s trying her best to keep it together but, she just can’t. Still. She has to try she won’t let herself break down just yes.

“I feel like you’re the best thing to happen to me so, why do you want me?” She asks, looking up at him finally. Her voice now meek and high-pitched as she tries to hold back tears. “There must be… something wrong. There has to be! Because why. Why would you want me? So, I got scared that you-" Her train of thought never fully explained as she breaks down into tears instead.

"You know I'm surprised we haven't met before yet. Me and her are best friends after all." Janne mused as he leaned back against the wall.

"Best friends? Bitch I am your wife! You are going to call me your 'best friend' after everything we've been through together? We have a house in the Hamptons! Our anniversary is coming up, you ass!" Darla yelled as she grabbed Janne by the collar and started to yell in his face.

It was so hard for the two to keep a straight face.

Darla tries her best to read Alice's hand.

Darla grabbed Alice's wrist as she examined both of her hands. Making soft 'hmm' sounds as she nodded her head. Thinking to herself.

"Ok! So, um the shape of your hands tells me you have an um, fire or air hand. Which means that you are impulsive and uh... smart!" There was actually a lot more to this but, she could only recall so much from the top of her head.

"This hand-" She slightly raises Alice's left hand. "Shows all your potential. Which means this hand shows how much you've lived up to it!" She then starts to trace the lines on her hand.

"This is your heart line. Mind. Life annnnnnd." She then starts to trace a bunch of lines in the middle of her palm. Trying her best to not only find the right one but, remember the name. After a minute or so it comes to her. "Fate!"

Andrew was in a bit of a trance as he ate. Eating usually made him feel better. Full and not so empty. The taste, a good distraction from his thoughts. He probably shouldn't have spent so much money on food, but it was too late now. Now he really had to eat everything.

Still, the food wasn't enough. His mind couldn't stop racing, and the topic on hand was already beaten to death with his twin. He loses his appetite.

"Damn... there is no way I can eat all of this." He sighs. He pushes his plate somewhat towards the other. "Did you want the rest? I promise I haven't touched it."

Jenny woke Shido up as gently as she could. Light caresses of his face and when he finally started to stir she kissed his forehead. "Good morning, Mon amour! I made you breakfast in bed." She had made a few sweet and savory crêpes for him and even got some juice. She set the breakfast tray down over his lap and sat down next to him.

"I hope you didn't make any big plans for tonight because I planned a date and I realllly think you are going to like it."

Darla just stared at Damien. In a way she felt responsible for him getting caught up in this. At the same time she didn't have control in how things ended up. Then again she was the real target and he was just collateral damage. At the wrong place at the wrong time thanks to her. Once again everything was her fault and she looked down. Of course, something like this would happen when she finally worked up the courage to apologize for everything.

Still, she had to try, didn't she? Looking up she was going to spit out the first thing she could think of. Then she could feel the anti-magic runes start to effect her. Grabbing the closest thing she could for balance, the bars of the cage, she managed to stay up right. Even if her hand was now burning because of the direct touch.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into this. This was never my intention." She said, quietly. Just loud enough for him to hear in an even quieter room.

The two gasped as he confirmed their inquires. Despite all their years and travels they've never met a real and true cowboy! This was like meeting Santa Claus for the first time! With all their excitement it brought out something in them that caused them to act younger than they look.

"That was so cool!" The two chorused in awe. Almost jumping in excitement. Instead, the two held each other's hands as they did a little hop in place. Now their minds started to buzz with all sorts of questions it made it hard to speak.

"Do you- With- Like- In the movies!" The two kept speaking over one another. Making their half formed questions all that much harder to understand.

Shit. He got him there. He could probably think of it if he calmed down but, he feels like he's on the spot and can't think of it. Well, there is only one way to get out of tight situations like this.

"What's my favorite food?" He challenged instead.

"Oh yeah?" He asked against Andrew's lips, easily allowing himself to be distracted by the kiss. He felt like a puppet being pulled around by strings, but he allowed it.

"What's my favorite food?" He joked, looking at him with just as much adoration. He loved Andrew's confidence, it was attractive and endearing, but he also loved so many things about him.
