I’m glad I don’t get many “I can fix her” comments for Darla anymore because while she might start to act sweet around certain people it’s only around those people and she’s still a bitch to others. You didn’t really “fix” anything

Theirs smth to be said how twins have a sun and moon motif and how no matter which you ask they always say the other twin is the sun as they are the light and only see the best parts in the other they wished they had which in turn makes them the moon

But I’ve said that before

It’s really about how the sun is seen as “better” but why not the moon? It keeps you company when your alone at night

Also I may not wrote Elliot much here for many reasons but he is always the star. Like the North Star their guiding light on how to get home

as much as I love portrayals of the sun and moon as a (lesbian) couple, the greeks were really on to something when they said "actually they're siblings who disapprove of each other's life choices"

writing advice for characters with a missing eye: dear God does losing an eyes function fuck up your neck. Ever since mine crapped out I've been slowly and unconsciously shifting towards holding my head at an angle to put the good eye closer to the center. and human necks. are not meant to accommodate that sorta thing.

Now that she felt like she hammered the sentiment home she could finally relax. Just a bit anyway. At least for the day. As long as his ability to attract unfortunate circumstances existed it was always going to make her a bit anxious. Maybe she should try placing more good luck spells on him-

The reason I don’t have a goddess verse for Yuno is because I think Yuno would be a super benevolent goddess as long as she still had Yuki by her side. Sure if Yuki givers someone too much attention their house might be destroyed by a freak storm, but also like she’d be a matchmaker goddess twisting fate to get people together and stuff. The thing is I can’t see too many people being interested in that version of Yuno.

Idk sometimes I do get discouraged by other muns have god like muses or a verse for their characters but I feel like the way I go about portraying twins is unique enough that I have to write it. Even for my own sake. The routes in where they become gods themselves they try to live up to the ideal of true benevolence and again I don’t think many other writers take this route. Of the struggle of what it means to live up to and uphold this ideal. To essentially work for their groups best interests without causing harm always instead of the more Greek god esque route I see most go or even fallen angel type thing.

In routes where twins decide to become God they aren’t bitter. They do it because they want to try and be good. To prove that they can be good. Everyone can be good. I feel like the aspect of all loving is ignored in favor of fear to showcase all mighty power but why do people join religion? For a sense of belonging. To find a place where you belong in feel loved this is alway ignored in favor of showcasing more negative aspects

I’m not saying this is wrong just the fact they I gotta write what k wanna see in the world and this is what I wanna see because I just never see it. I hope I’ve sowed enough seeds narratively that like,,,,, despite all the bad things twins see the root of something good. You may have to start over but it doesn’t mean you can’t take that good thing and build upon that even if it’s hard

That reminds me I have to check out those novels at some point-

the best site to read fan translations, side stories and if stories is witchculttranslations. new chapters they are translating the web novel which is like the rough draft of the light novels so at times there is small changes. There is a guide on the site on where to pick up from as the anime cut out some important bits but I highly recommend!

it's a fan translation though but considering I've bought some of the official translations it's p accurate if not better since it doesn't have some miss translations

"Well, I was the one that asked for more space so... if I never said anything I wouldn't feel like this right now. I wouldn't have gotten my own room and... it does hurt to be lonely." She explained while looking down at her lap. The urge to scratch at her arms was there but, she stopped herself before she could. Instead, wringing her fingers with a lack of things to do with her hands.

The thought that at some point her twin would have asked for space didn't really cross her mind. Or that she would feel suffocated with still being around her twin so much. That feeling she knew how to deal with and would prefer. She couldn't help but, feel guilty for wanting her own space now.

"Really?" After waiting for a sign of approval she goes over to the bin to pick a bear. She doesn't take too long and instead goes for the first one she sees at the top. As she goes to sit back down she clutches the bear close to her chest, and it makes everything around her feel a little lighter. "I don't like feeling little." She admitted quietly. "I hate being treated like a little kid, and I've been trying to act my age but, people still treat me like I'm little just because I'm short." She huffed after venting her frustrations.
