"In 1975, 1 year later, 50 years ago, I built myself a multi-effects pedal, I think it might have been the first multi-effects in the country. I had never seen anything like it before.

The entire mechanism was also self-made.

Its special feature was that the Wah and Volume pedals were already optoelectronic, not potentiometers. Noiseless and squeak-free.

It had WAH, Phase shifter, compressor and distortion. The sequence of WAH and distortion could be changed with a switch. And the distortion was adjusted with 6 selectable sound volt switches and coiled inductive filters. I loved it very much."

"I think Hungary's first multi-effects pedal was completed in 1977 :-) I outgrew the old simple distortion and wanted to imitate the professional sounds. The little devil was moving in my brain and didn't leave me alone until I created this pedal. This was the content of WAH - Phase shifter - Fuzz - Compressor . The Fuzz and WAH order could be switched with a switch.  It was particularly interesting that even then the Volume and WAH were made with optical control without a potentiometer! The Phase Shifter was a copy of a Roland Phaser, I cringed the most because the phase shifting was done by 6 RC members, which were controlled by 6 FETs at the same time. After construction, it sounded pretty bad. In my frustration, I messed around until I realized that the FETs must be exactly the same. Luckily for me, the local parts store had approx. It has 150 FETs, from which I was able to select the 6 identical ones. The result spoke for itself. And I began to learn the profession more and more. Thanks to a bit of luck, it came back to me."

I detest the belief that if you think democrats are better than Republicans, you must not care about immigrants or foreign policy. I strongly believe that America should have open borders and should welcome immigrants instead of creating 1000 arbitrary hoops they have to jump through in order to be considered "legal." I also oppose our involvement in weapons dealing and funding militias that wreak hell onto women overseas.

I'm just not a single issue voter. I care about multiple issues, like women's rights, women's health, and diversity quotas. I'm not blind to how callous and racist the democratic party is and has historically been. I'm also not blind to the fact that diversity and women's autonomy is directly connected to democratic policies and democratic leaders, nor am I blind to the fact that the primary campaign points of Republicans are promises to destroy existing civil protections for women and minorities. Promises that they have made good on before.

I will never see Elizabeth Warren as the primary conservative candidate, because her values fundamentally oppose conservative values. But i might see her as the primary democratic candidate, if the leftists who do share her values ever decide to actually participate in the government and support a candidate they agree with, instead of abstaining from making a choice entirely and then refusing to vote for the representative that other people picked for them. But it seems like most american leftists are more interested in taking advice from people who don't know shit about the US government than they are in listening to the people who have dedicated their lives to trying to make our government less evil, callous, and racist 🤷‍♀️

Apparently it's the firt multi-effect ever. It has Wah (called Strepitoso in italian), Treble/Bass Booster, Distortion and Repeat (percussion tremolo). So I traced the 4 different circuits, you can find attached the schematics and some pics. FS33805 are npn BJT with 1:C 2:B 3:E pinout. I tested one and hfe was 216. BC208 is apparently an equivalent and if i'm not mistaken 2n3904 could do the job. 4JD5E44 is a UJT (maybe equivalent to 2n2646 ?)"

Rumor has it that Mark Darrah said that bioware had a nasty time transitioning over to work from home and got basically nothing done over that period (he left the studio in December 2020). So unless things shaped up really quickly after he left, veilguard (which was converted back to single player from live service in February 2021) may have spent a lot of time that first year spinning its wheels and not getting a lot of work done. That would honestly explain a lot
