Boss Specific kind of builds:

Lucien: One AA Sniper for the red dancers, Wandering Medic, Guard(s) to hold the middle, Casters of choice or some big damage dealer to take down the boss

Depending on the relics I get, 99% of the time I can murk Lucien before he makes a full circuit around the stage, right when he stops at the upper-left corner. Caster!Amiya s3, Goldenglow S2 or s3, Passenger s3, Chalter s3 all melt him easily enough. Sometimes I have Thorns pointed up to give added DPS.

Big Sad Lock: AoE/Multitarget medic(s), couple of lane holders, and whomever is going to be doing the damage on the bear based on what relics you’ve gathered

First of all, fuck BSL. Secondly, I find Nightingale to be crucial due to her RES boost talent because them arts blasts the bear does ain’t no joke. Mudrock and Mountain all hold either lane fairly well. I would NOT use Thorns, Exu or Blue Poison on him only because the multi-hits or poison damage will fast trigger AOE arts bursts in a row and your whole party will melt. ASPD boost relics I consider a must unless you have Bladedance or other really good damage output relics to get the bear down especially if you didn’t get the Blank Suicide Note. Blaze s2, Bagpipe s2 with Spinach Pack or Wrath of the Siracusans, Goldenglow s2, Fiametta S3, Schwarz s3 all do wonderful… just gotta keep them alive 🥲 Or if you have Pallas s1 with the Hand of Shredder it’s easy mode, but I do not have her.

Troupe Mouthpiece: a vanguard to beat the DP reduction, a couple fast-redeploy Operators to take out the puppets, some self sustaining operators to lane hold or have good medics to keep them alive from the true damage the spawning puppets do

Honestly after BSL, this dude is so easy to beat. I put Gnosis on one side, Goldenglow on the other and those two are very good at taking out the puppets and enemies that pass by, while Jaye assassinates the others outside of their range. Unless you have ASPD boost, then just Goldenglow can murk the whole stage by herself, no cap. Myrtle is great to print the DP you need, but I’ve beaten the Mouthpiece without a vanguard before… so it’s possible! Just a bit tricky.

It is always so neat

to see how different individual birds of a species can look. With House Finches, the color and vibrancy of the males depends on what they eat. We have Mulberries and other red berries as well as Mountain Ash around here, and it feels like you can tell from these two. One has orange undertones and a more subdued red, while the other is mostly red and very vibrant. The stripes on the belly as well as the non-red wing bars are certain indicators that mark them as House Finches. Tomorrow is the last day of my calendar sale, make sure to get what you want in time.

Minjung Kim, Korean, b. 1962, Percussion.

Minjung Kim is renowned for her intricate, abstract ink paintings executed on delicate mulberry bark paper that she often burns, layers, or twists to create subtle textures. Works from her “Mountain” series, which featured in the 2015 Venice Biennale, display rows of gently undulating lines that together evoke beautifully lit peaks and valleys. Kim was trained in traditional calligraphy and Korean watercolor painting in her youth, which is evident in her refined linework and masterly control of her brush. While her materials are rooted in East Asian artistic traditions, she is informed by Western abstract expressionism, which she learned while studying in Milan in the 1990s. She eventually split her time between New York and the south of France, where she continues to create her contemplative paper works.

I’m so obsessed with the idea of the separation between the world of canon and an AU world where things could’ve been different— (hence my last jalph comic)

If you don’t know that I made them brothers in my AU, this is really confusing💀💀 but this comic was really just for my own enjoyment and indulgence, and I wanted you to see the work I was proud of! Uhh headcanon dump under the cut if you happen to be interested lol

Basically, the context is that in the LotF Academy world, instead of the massive fire that killed Mulberry Boy, there was a fire that burnt down his and Ralph’s house when Ralph was little. Ralph got out unhurt, but Mulberry was scarred from his chest down to his legs from the burns. This resulted in an odd obsession in Ralph with watching flames, and a strong fear of fire in Mulberry. This is also partially the reason their family is poorer than the rest of the cast (this has shown up in several comics further down in the past on this blog, but don’t look bc they’re really cringey).

Only A-Yuans grow from radishes.” He glanced at Sizhui, and then back at Wei Wuxian. “Our other friends are A-Ling and A-Zhen. A-Ling grew from a lotus seed, and A-Zhen grew on a mulberry tree.” A-Yuan tugged on Wei Wuxian’s clothes. “Xian-gege! Xian-gege! We need to get a plum and a lotus and mulberries! I want an A-Ling and an A-Zhen and a -” He glanced at Jingyi. Jingyi smiled at the miniature version of his closest friend. “Lan Jingyi,” he said, bowing. “And an A-Yi!” A-Yuan finished. “Oh my god,” Jingyi said as he straightened, not nearly quiet enough, “he’s so cute.”

luoluo = 萝萝 luó luó (radish, but doubled to make it a cutesy diminutive, so closer to "my baby radish") plum sometimes represents a strong personality, lotus is obviously for jyl, and mulberry is bc the city nearest the mountain oyzz's surname comes from is known for its silk exports and domestic silkworms prefer mulberry leaves :3c
