Hi all,

I’m sorry I haven’t been writing as much as I would’ve liked to. Honestly, I’m going through one of the most difficult times in my life. I’m about to start applying to residency programs AND I’m studying for step 2 CK which is part of the United States Medical Licensing Exam to get my medical degree. It’s my last year of med school and it’s just not going well right now. I think these next 6 months are probably going to be the worst 6 months of my life. I’ve been working hard studying and just not seeing much pay off. I’m not sure where to go from here. I dunno. It’s been a lot. I’m currently in my bed tears streaming down my face with no where else to go or anyone else to talk to as it is 5AM LOL.

Anyway, I think I won’t be as active for now and will be taking a hiatus indefinitely. At least until I’m done with step 2. Requests are closed for now. I’m sorry for disappointing you all.

Please yall, send me positive vibes and thoughts and prayers. I really really need them.

And if any of yall are doctors or psychiatrists (bc I’m applying psych) lemme know any advice yall have or just ur own experiences bc it’s hella lonely out here. And the suffering is real.

the one thing i love(lying) abt musescore4 is when my measures play no sound whatsoever for seemingly no reason so i constantly have to cut and paste the measures back into the score so i can hear them again :3!!!

I think most people just don’t like how “dwarf planet” is a separate categorization from planets instead of a subtype like Gas Giants, Rogue Planets, etc etc

this is demonstrably not what people are saying they dislike most of the time. it is mostly people saying they think pluto shouldn't be considered a dwarf planet, or that dwarf planet shouldn't be a category at all

During MS4, med students have the opportunity to help with the preclinical students’ small group learning curriculum—basically where they learn how to do a history and physical, how to present, how social determinants of health impact patients, etc. So I’ve been helping for most of the year, and I think it’s the highlight of MS4. I love teaching them these skills, giving them tips and getting to put it in the context of what expectations will be in the clinical years. I love encouraging them and letting them know they’re on the right track. Most of all, I love tying what we’re learning into clinical reasoning and teaching them not just how to perform a physical but how to think about their findings or how to not just recognize social determinants but how to incorporate that into their plan and discuss it with patients. Nothing is more gratifying.
