^That's the TLDR. Serious answers for Ms Bean below:

Sexual Identity: Prolifically bisexual/pansexual, although the in-world terminology she'd use might be a little more crude. She did that 'Fascinating' ending. The one where you seduce both the Acclaimed Beauty and Barbed Wit at the same time for the best possible result (and a trip to the Tomb Colonies). It's honestly surprising that she only has two "seen with" partners, probably just because of my actual shy self.

Romantic Identity: On the other hand, I think she definitely doesn't feel romance in quite the same way as alloromantic people. She participates in such things, but is lucidly aware of how it's all just performative, like peacocks showing off their feathers or a well-rehearsed dance. Her infatuation is driven by sexual desire - or a deep platonic appreciation in some cases - and in matters of courtly romance she feels as though she's more playing a character than being herself. All this is to say that she very much enjoys romance for what it is, but not for love itself.

Gender Identity: This one is the most complex, especially since it involves stuff I've not explicitly written about yet but that I have cooking in my drafts. Saying it loud for the first time, but

Ms Bean's entire story is a trans allegory! Plus she is actually canonically trans!! Trust me, it is confusingly both of these things at once!!! HAPPY PRIDE!!!!

Except she just... doesn't quite remember yet! Before she lost her memory, her Shapeling Arts-assisted gender transition went so well that she has now literally forgotten she was assigned another gender at birth. To give a little bit away, I'm sitting on a very personal plotline. Details, mostly regarding how it's drawn from my real life trans experience, below the cut for those interested.

The idea I have revolves mostly around the feeling that my childhood - and some of my adult life - has been stolen from me. The idea that I've been pretending to be someone I'm not fills me with so much rage, and I mourn that lost time as though the person who was never there existed and died all for nothing.

Ms Bean's story, and how it ties into that feeling, was inspired from being Nemesis-adjacent. I really don't want to spoil things, but I've told plenty of people in DMs and will continue to do so if anyone is actually genuinely interested haha. Ms Bean Who? - A BIO

In almost all aspects of appearance, the word of choice for Ms Bean would be “austere”. Standing tall, straight, and broad, above average height for either/any sex, sharp angles adorn her countenance - from pointy chin to tightly-wound bun, pursed lips painted black, and a light scar crossing the piercing eye of a perceptive woman - punctuated by hollow cheeks: a trademark of hungry artists. 

But as strands of hair break rank, they frame her face in shadow. And those eyes, as round as figs, have a kind light lost within that betray this fiction of austerity. In truth, she is a hedonist through and through; many have witnessed her piercing eyes become softer glances, and the mask of temperance being thrown to the ground amidst other discarded garments…

Like many, Ms Bean was once fresh and penniless in the Neath, although recent ventures and windfall have made her healthy and spry; her body is lean in musculature, though covered in scars, both owing themselves to a new hobby in boxing. As for her academic pursuits, she has found talent as a Non-Speculative Author, which she is willing to fight people in defence of it being somehow different to non-fiction. Constantly adventuring for inspiration or recording the larger-than-life histories of fellow Londoners, her publications always stretch the boundaries of fact and fiction.

She has a reputation for both philanthropy (such as Ms Bean's Home for Dispossessed Unfortunates) and ruthlessness (found in the punishingly truthful pages of The Troubling Times). Driven by the idea that the world must be forced to change, she feverishly studies the Correspondence for some breakthrough in epistemology. Ms Bean will change hearts and minds; either with a spectrum of persuasive techniques, or by rewriting reality itself.
