Be sure to take into consideration things like would you be able to feed a Snorlax, could you supply a good tank for a Wailmer, etc. Reblogs are appreciated but not forced!

Had to take a break to draw something cute and indulgent or else my brain would've popped. Inspired by @yamujiburo's adorable Delias and color art from the manga Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.

I like imagining Mr. Mime out in the wild because there is no way to do it that isn't inherently funny. Like imagine that you're just a fire breathing giant dog minding your own business and then suddenly a wild mime pops up and starts harassing you with charades

bit of an odd question here, hope you don't mind me asking
why do (kantonian) mr. mime look like... yknow... THAT...? the big fingers? tufts of hair(?). im genuinely wondering what the evolutionary advantage is there. is it focusing psychic powers somehow or just to disturb predators because it sure does do that for me
they look like that because evolving that way has proven advantageous for them. the horns may help concentrate psychic type energy, which is a feature we see in many psychic type pokemon. as for the large fingers, their fingertips have organs that allow them to concentrate their psychic energy into the barriers they make. having wide fingertips allows for more energy to be pushed into that area for maintaining the barrier. the size of their hands also makes it easier for them to pantomime successfully, and it draws attention to their miming act, which is an important aspect of how they survive.
mr. mime look odd to us because they're human enough to trip our sense that they look "wrong" in some way, but pokemon don't think the way we do. many pokemon are actually captivated by the combination of mr. mime's psychic powers and repetitive movements.
