So! Theres this mysterious espurr that just...keeps breaking into my house somehow? I do call the rangers to deal with the lil dude, and they have relocated him safely (it just lets them take him places without a fight) but like, I'm not sure where they take him but I don't think it's far, he keeps coming back. I can't figure out how it's getting in. The rangers can't figure out how he's getting in. Nobody knows why he wants to be in my house specifically? Should I just resign myself to adopting this espurr? I already have other psychic types? I might just catch him if he breaks into my house one more time

so this is how my sibling ended up with à la mode. her old owner left her when he moved out of his apartment, and she broke into my sibling's apartment by using her psychic powers to manipulate the lock from the inside. she also rearranged their entire living room.

i can't say why this little guy likes your house so much, but i can say this: this espurr is going to end up in captivity regardless. since he's a repeat break-in, they're going to move him into a shelter system and get him placed in a home. this is our solution for handling wild pokemon that have become nuisances but haven't been deemed dangerous. if you want to adopt him, go for it! he seems comfortable with you and your pokemon already. but if you aren't looking to take in an espurr, he'll be out of your hair soon.

Ya know what’s a weird misconception I’ve been thinking about recently,it’s a pretty know fact that being a Ranger requires alot of work and training for a person to make it their career but They don’t seam to realize that the majority of the pokemon who assist them are also just as trained.

Do you have any stories about having to wrangle pokemon who were unusually fast for their species. We had to chase my friend's Torterra down five neighborhood blocks because a nearby rescue recently received a couple new ladies and he wanted to introduce himself. Treats would not distract him so we had to resort to balling him. My friend did eventually introduce his Torterra to the new ladies at the rescue, my friend just wanted to wait until they passed the quarantine period.

torterra can be surprisingly speedy when there's a mating opportunity on the line! a headlong rush from a male torterra competing against another male for a female is a lot faster than you'd ever expect.

usually the pokemon that are hardest to round up are the ones that are already a fast species, like toedscool or cyclizar. but every once in a while you run into a pokemon that isn't usually that fast but for some reason is just absolutely going hyperspeed mode on you. probably one of the worst instances of this was a while back when there were a lot of random varoom outbreaks. a varoom at rest is tolerable to try and styler, but once it gets riled up, you basically have to plaster yourself to the ground until it tires out so you don't get all of your bones shattered by 35 kg of rock and steel. now imagine 30 of them at a time against 3 very shatterable rangers.

it was not very fun to keep them away from towns and cities.

i think guardian signs has such a good mechanic for gamers with brain fog: i can check exactly what my main quest goal is in detail. it even tells me why I'm doing something too. it's not just a quest marker it's instead like "you did x, you discovered y, you are doing z" and i find that really helpful
