Do you have more headcanons about your critter trolls?

There's not much to it really, I just give them animal habits that I find cute lol.

Well first off they do make animal-like sounds. Purrs when content, in love, sometimes when a they're in pain. Growl when angry. Trollings make really high pitched squeaking sounds to voice a want/need.

They're more fluffy!!! Have a more condensed tuft on fur on their chests bc why not. When frightened, hair and fur puff out to appear bigger. Give baps on the head when upset (not serious) like a cat lol.

Scruffing I feel like is done more by older siblings or relatives that aren't the parents. Parents still predominatly use their hair. But they can scruff if their hands and hair are full. It's seen as a little childish (not in negative way), since it's big sibs that usually scruff (bc it's fun)!

Nests, love to sleep in a pile of blankets and pillows. Naps are a great way to bond w/ loved ones. A pretty special step for a new couple to take. Grooming too is important, reserved for parent & child, or between partners.

— Probably as same as White but a bit more chill. If she's uncomfortable he's the first one to notice.

Nomads Village

I just realized I’ve never talked about the actual village before, just the inhabitants. Oops- 😶

Originally when Branch was first kidnapped he was taken to the original village (which was a days walk from Pop village) The village itself was more like a big burrow deep in the ground,that would split up into tunnels that went on for a few mile- I mean feet. It was lit up by bioluminescence plant life, and fire. The buildings were just plain old wooden buildings, with the addition of dead animals parts that were used for structure, bones as pillars, animal skin for roofing, that sorta thing (the whole thing pretty much looked like a dystopian town)

Branch stayed in the village as the only pop troll, till the separated group of pop trolls (mentioned before) showed up after being taken by a group of ferals. They were allowed to stay, but not long later the original leader decided to move the village, when hearing more about the Bergens (and deeming them an “annoyance that she didn’t want deal with”) they just decided to move.

When they did move they moved to an abandoned hollowed tree that was smack dab in the middle of all the troll tribe territory (after that grey trolls just started popping up) The village design started looking like a mashup of all the troll genre architectural styles smashed together as one.(The buildings didn’t exactly look right since they didn’t have the exact resources to make them and just came out looking like a cheap imitation) The village is pretty closed pack together as tho it were a city, and is basically just hidden in the tree being only accessible through tunnels. The whole thing is heavily fortified and kinda an eyesore with all the different genres smooshed together (to be fair the grey trolls just wanted to feel at home so they tried to imitate it as much as possible..it never really worked for them though)

Currently trying to write a emmetstyle fic, and I just realized

Where the fuck was Emmet and Lucy living when they were still in Apocalypseburg???

I know one might think it would be in that house Emmet ended up building in the beginning of the second movie, but obviously, that was supposed to be a gift for Lucy, so they were not living there during those 5 years.

Was it like- in a bunker??? Like an apocalypse bunker in the ground???

Honestly though that's actually pretty on brand for Lucy.

She said the whole reason she didn't like the house Emmet built for the two of them (and Unikitty as their third wheel) was because it was bright and colorful and would draw attention to them, leading to the duplos attacking them.

What's a good way to avoid detection?
