Key Considerations to Move to Spain from USA Successfully
Moving abroad is always an exciting adventure, but relocating from the USA to Spain brings a unique set of challenges and rewards. Whether it’s the Mediterranean lifestyle, lower cost of living, or the rich cultural history, many Americans are drawn to Spain. However, the process of planning a move to Spain from USA requires careful consideration of various factors, including financial planning, housing, healthcare, and integrating into the local culture. To ensure a smooth transition, it’s essential to thoroughly research and prepare for all aspects of life in your new country.

I find it ironic that western leftists demand israelis leave israel because we're all white colonizers in their eyes (regardless of the fact that even if jews really weren't indigenous to the levant, which we are, over half the population is middle eastern anyway), but when we do leave israel for other countries we get hatecrimed. it would be bad enough if we had people telling us "good on you for going back to where you came from" or some shit but no they really just view us as inherently irredeemable and evil no matter where we are. almost feels like they're trying to lure us into being harassed overseas.

CALIFORNIA!! if you’re planning on voting for claudia de la cruz and karina garcia this 2024, they’re going to be running under the peace and freedom party. if you want to vote for them in the primaries, you’ll have to register under the peace and freedom party before february 5. they posted a video about it on their instagram here.
in my state, you can change your party very easily online, as long as you have your address and social security number on hand. not sure if it’s the same case for california, but i would try that first

Israel bombed the convoy of the injured whilst they were leaving the Shefa hospital, which was heading to Rafah crossing point with Egypt. They were moving injured to be treated in Egyptian hospitals, but Israel just bombed them. 3.11.23 🎥 Saleh aljafarawi.

Gosh, i hate that post going around that's is so fucking USA centrist that says "you MUST move out and stop living with your parents or you will never get character development" or something like that
And im just
Fuck you? I LOVE living with my parents (with my mom specifically). If i EVER lived alone i would have killed myself at this point. Even if i wasnt as sick as i am now i would have never EVER wanted to leave their side
Saying "you must live on your own or else" it's so fucking USA bullshit. Im sorry you have learned that in your culture and i pity you and that you have to have that mindset. Or that you have to make posts with reasons as to why "living with your parents is a boss fight" kinda thing.

Listen, we lost.
The US wasn't ready for it's first female president, and in reality this country wasn't ready to think. People who voted for Trump, people who abstained, people who voted third party. I'm sorry to say but they did not think. I disagree with Harris on a LOT of things. But I also see Trump for who he is, a wannabe dictator. Project 2025 is soft-core Mein Kampf, and Trump is ready to metaphorically suck the dicks of Putin and Kim.
To anyone not from the US who sees this, I'm sorry. I did my best, I voted, and I tried to explain and get others to vote with their critical thinking glasses on just like I did. It wasn't enough. I get if you are mad at the US, though, this world is so fucked and having a global superpower turn even more extreme right wing than it already was is, as they say, Not Great. I'm annoyed too.
I'm not proud of my country. I'm not proud of my generation who according to news outlets based their votes off of Kamala Harris not appearing on the "Joe Rogan Podcast". I'm proud that my state stayed Blue, but I'm disappointed in everything else we did as a country tonight.
But we move forward. I can't let hatred get the best of me, and I hope my fellow Americans do the same. Hatred doesn't do anything. Pandora let Hatred out, she left us with Hope.
I can Hope that the midterm elections will swing back to blue. I can Hope that one day I will see a woman in office. I can Hope that this nation's checks and balances do their fucking job and stop a fascist regime. I can Hope that our system will see change, but in the reality that it doesn't I can Hope that at least a few abstainers or third parties learned their lesson on how this fucked up government system works and that it simply is not a valid option for change.
But at the end of the day, Tumblr is still Tumblr. Tomorrow I'll freak out if Stranger Things actually releases something. I'll see fanart of a video game I like and I'll reblog it. We'll keep doing our thing, and we'll keep carving out the change we need to see from the ground up. I will keep fighting and I know you guys will too.
Also let's not spam the Destiel meme, it's a bit too sobering an occasion for those gay(?) dudes.

I‘m very late but, scrolling through all the beautiful art I missed, the photographs of where you live are very interesting! They remind me of Alaskan landscapes and foliage 100%, and a little bit of Scottish highland forests. It’s not important but I wanted to ask, do you know what the plant with the white flowers in the foreground of a couple of your summer forest pictures is? I‘m a plant nut & am interested to see if it‘s a plant Finland and Scotland share or not. No worries if not. Thanks for sharing!
That's interesting, I knew northern Finland had some things in common with Alaska but I never considered our landscapes could be similar to Scottish scenery.

You mean this plant? It's Rhododendron tomentosum, and it seems like it's called marsh Labrador tea, northern Labrador tea or wild rosemary in English, suopursu in Finnish. They grow abundantly in swamps and pine/spruce forests and bloom intensely around June and July. They smell amazing too, strongly enough to cause headaches in some people, but personally I love it, one of my favorite wild flowers and favorite nature smells for sure. They were/have been used as herbal medicine for centuries, mainly to treat rheumatism and skin conditions, despite them being mildly poisonous.

hot take that i know i will get hate for : when i say i am frustrated with trump winning and at americans actually letting him win, i am not diminishing the efforts of those who canvassed and campaigned for harris to win. as a third world country citizen, trump winning and his subsequent actions will both directly and indirectly impact countries on a global level. all of the progress we have seen so far will regress right back and so when i say "how could you let him win?" i mean how could more than half of the country which is considered to be a developed nation let a criminal win? i am baffled by the sheer stupidity that they had. yes i know it's incredibly frustrating to canvass and campaign only to be left defeated and i am in no way saying that this happened for a lack of trying. i am saying that the rest of usa should have tried more, that they should have thought hard and long before going and voting for trump. once again, usa has proved how white centric it is and i am just feeling exhausted
