I could think of no better way to share the news than this!

So when I was 17, my cat went missing and I'd given up hope of ever seeing him again.

Until on Monday, 27th of May, 2024, my friend sent me a FB post asking 'isn't that your mother?' about the person named on the microchip.

Here he is! 16 years old, and found safe, twelve whole years after he went missing!

Yesterday (Tuesday the 28th of May, 2024) I went to the rescue that had him, and I reclaimed my boy, renaming him Artie! (He'd originally been called 'Cat' because my mother and I couldn't decide on a name)

He's home safe with me now, currently inhabiting my bathroom and purring up a storm every time someone goes in there!

I'll be doing slow introductions between him and my current cat to give them the best possible chance of living in harmony!

Some kid threw an apple at me whilst I was riding home today.

I know he did it to impress his friend. (Not only can I tell from his looks but his attitude and the fact I had a friend who was a carbon copy)

But as I told my dad and sunshine protector, he'd be the first one sobbing if he caused a crash and if I got seriously hurt.

We made eye contact and everything before he did it, so ik that woulda fucked with his head too.

Lesson of the day, do not throw anything at motorbikers or cars. But especially motorbikers. I got hit by a leaf the other day, hit me right in the chest, felt like someone walked up to me and punched me. Imagine what that apple woulda felt like if it did hit me.

We have no protection like a car. It's like if the wind hits us, we physically get blown to the side whilst cars will rock and shake. If its a situation in which a car is getting blown to the side? Look for the flying motorbike.

If we crash, we ain't staying on/in our vehicle at all. Whilst in a car it's rare but not impossible for you to fly out of it.

Please just be aware of motorbikes and how different the environment and your actions effect us.
