saw a video today with a nurse talking about her 'creepiest patient story' and proceeded to talk about a person who was not actually her patient, a person who was obviously either extremely on drugs or otherwise going through a shattering psychotic episode, and this nurse was just girlishly fluttering her hands and 'gesticulating' and putting her pencil between her teeth and bulging her eyes all bambilike and innocently going 'gosh but guys I don't know...I don't know...I feel like it could have been more...it could have been something more" and the vast majority of the comments were just other medical practitioners saying they believe they've had patients who have been possessed by demons or ARE demons. and you know, that's low but the nurse in the video, her I want to annihilate

so, my brain basically says that the breathing styles in KNY should be combined with bending because the corps deserves to be overpowered too.

water breathing is beyond cracked now… like healing, water manipulation, ice manipulation, fucking BLOOD BENDING. urokodaki and giyuu just got 10x more scary…. imagine dead calm.. oh god praying for rui at this point. giyuu is more than worthy of being a hashira with his talented he’ll be with THIS much power.

i just remembered that water bending is stronger at night… giyuu is now one scary mf omg. i feel like he’d be able to do blood bending, but not really use it. he’d find it a bit too much for his taste.

i think the demon would stay relatively the same when it comes to power, maybe a bit stronger but only by a little bit. they already cheating by regeneration and immortality ong

Shallow Ends

Light vanished behind the mountain. Trees absorbed the final rays of the dying sun, framing the pillar of the valley like an object of worship. Overhanging clouds reflected the last of them. Until the round celestial body crossing the heavens took in their space, swallowing every spark appearing next to it. The night appeared brighter than it was. Surrounding plant life spoke the truth of the creeping shadows.

Averting your gaze from the outside world past the window back to the chamber you were residing in, your attention was captured by the tank standing at the other end. Pressed against the blue and wooden decorated wall, its perfectly polished glass was held together with golden material. Appearing like a temple, water danced within. Nourishing corals growing from pale yellow sand.

A soft hum unrelated to the water filter filled the room. Brushing past the doors, one of your hosts pushed in a cart on tiny wheels. How rare to not see one of the staff handling such a task. Despite the expected annoyance, he was smiling brightly, possibly rivalling the glow coming from inside the tank. Moving closer to where he put it, he spun in your direction, leaving his hands placed on the surface of the object.

“Look at what I’ve found for you!” Beaming at your approaching form, he gave you a moment to register the accessories placed down for your convenience. Two golden crowns, one pair of blue and golden hair clips. The same artefacts his secretaries wore. Unmistakably, the tails of his cards were not too far out of reach. He had brought them in earlier.

“I wasn’t sure, who of my Cuties you resembled more, so I thought I leave this decision up to you. I leave it up to you.” Explaining his reasoning, his smile never wavered. Staring at you expectantly, giving you time to ponder.

“Why are you hesitating?” Though this time was short lived. With your eyes glued to the head accessories, you were unable to determine his expression. Judging from his tone, his excited grin had fallen. “You can’t decide? You just can’t decide on just one, can you?” Meeting his intense eyes once more, the thoughtful clouds dispersed. “Understand. I understand. I had the same problem. But I think I have a solution.”

His joyful smile warmed his face. “You could alternate between them. Or maybe take from each whichever you like. Or maybe…” For a second, the pearl purple hues lost their focus. Smile broadening. “…you could become a fusion... The fusion of my Cuties! What do you say? Do you think you would be the fusion of my Cuties?”

aoife is linked to the stars, of which the sun is one, because of her... eldritch form, i guess? like how she appears normally isn't her only appearance, as well as through related symbolism.

her eldritch forms almost embodies a star (along with a bird, giving it something of an appearance similar to a phoenix, which brings with it a completely different kind of symbolism).

symbolically the sun has been associated with life, confidence, power and, obviously, light, amongst others, which are things aoife has or is or embodies. she embodies light because of her connection to the stars, she has confidence, she has a great degree of power (physical and social) and she's associated with life in that she's a mother and often takes care of others in order to ensure their survival.

she is also associated with burning, or death by burning, so not all of the links are positive.
