I drive between Massachusetts and New York with some frequency, and not too long ago Connecticut put up a sign on I-84 south welcoming people to the state, and declaring it the "basketball capital of the world". This seemed a weird statement, as the Boston Celtics have the most championship titles in the NBA, and Springfield MA is the birthplace of basketball and home to the hall of fame, but whatever.
Driving back from New York today I noticed the "pizza capital of the united states" sign, and realized they are picking fights on purpose.
#my guess is that they resent being a drive-though state for NYers and Mass people so they intend to make us as annoyed as possible#and yes i am aware that new haven has good pizza. just like montreal has good bagels. but new york did it first and new york did it better.#the basketball one they just have to amend with 'college' and it would be correct since the uconn teams are certainly decorated.#mood#massachusetts#connecticut#new york

brought back some New York Bagels and these taste exactly the same as the bagels i get from my local west coast jewish bagelry so what now. “it’s to do with the heaviness of the water” kill yourself. you guys think you invented corner stores AND bagels. Wrong!

just booked the hotel for my pride 2025 trip to montreal yes it’s next year but i refuse to pay the next year price increase on the hotels sjdjdk
now im excited for a trip that isn’t for over 200 days lol
#i am a planner i love planning ok#u don’t have to pay for the hotel until you get there so i have time to save up which is nice#my little sister is a baby dyke and she’s finally 18 by then so I want to bring her to her first gay bar 🤭#and her first proper drag show too!! there isn’t alot of stuff not in bars around here#in our province u can’t go in until 19 💔 but i love montreal and i miss the bagels so it works#pspsp hot dykes in Montreal who want to make out u can find me in the village#ramblings
