I decorated the house for Christmas on my day off. I love collecting things from childhood, passed down the family, and vintage. Even holiday stuff and it goes for every holiday cause I love decorating! lol Not all of it is entirely older, like my neopets stocking and a couple things my mom gave me. But A lot I’ve had since me and my sister were little or I’ve collected through the years . The tree skirt was always a childhood favorite. 🎄

Winter Spruce Grouse

I made it up to Coyote Creek the first Part of December. When I got to the point that I like to start walking the snow was at least 5 inches deep. Fortunately, I remembered to back my snowshoes. In a few minutes I was snowshoeing through 5-6 inches of virgin snow. After an hour or so I looked through the trees at the side of the road and saw a spruce grouse hen part of a large covey. What followed was me maneuvering through trees and down fall, in snowshoes trying to get a shot. I got several shots, but I was really glad that I was alone. The last thing I would want is video of this getting out.

Snapped Off

On my way back home from Coyote Creek I drove past the Turner Ranch which is located on the Red Rock End of Clarks Canyon. I was lucky enough to get several shots of this buck chasing does. His left antler was broken off at the brow tine. It was too bad that I didn’t see the buck that did that.
