So basically the idea is that class 78 has to do something for an upcoming school festival right? Sayaka suggests doing a musical, Leon agrees because he thinks this is about to be a Shakespeare situation where he can kiss her as the lead role. Asuhina is excited because musicals include dancing and singing and having so so so so so much fun together! Yay! Sakura agrees after seeing how happy this makes Hina.

Toko says this is a dumb idea that'll just end up with all the work being dumped on her (since she's the Ultimate writer so she'll have experience with developing plot) and the brainless bimbo popstar (Since she's the Ultimate idol so she'll have experience with music). Byakuya agrees with her (which she goes crazy about for a quick second) since now everyone can sing and dance like Maizono-san wastes her time doing.

Kiyotaka interjects here and happily (and loudly) says that this is a great opportunity to learn a new skill. He says they should do it. Mondo cuts in hesitantly, not wanting to go against his bro, but also kinda seeing the Toko chick and the Douchebag's point. The can't just write a whole new musical and learn the lines and dance moves in a month and a half.

Hifumi suggests that they use a story that currently exists, he has many amazing doujins already made and ready for re-enacting. Celeste giggles quietly before building on his suggestion. Maybe they shouldn't use something from a book, but an actual musical so they didn't have to go through the hassle of converting the stories to song. Something historic and memorable.

Yasuhiro shivers, stammering through a plea that the musical isn't too horrific. Horror musicals carry bad vibes and usually means that all of the planning will go wrong. Junko takes that moment to sneak up behind him and shake him, giggling when he jumps out of his seat in surprise. She rests against the chair he was previously sitting in, adding that the musical can't be all rainbows and lollipops. There has to be some despair sadness in it to captivate the audience.

Chihiro, who had been tapping away at their tablet since the beginning of the class meeting, pipes up that they might have found a musical that satisfies everyone and has characters that could fit some of their classmates. They flip the tablet over, showcasing the golden background with a single black star and a silhouette pointing up to everyone else.

Everyone could've guessed that the idol immediately knew the musical despite the absence of a title. When she started beaming, not one person even bat an eye. What no one expected was the Ultimate Biker Gang leader jerking out of his chair, unintentionally slamming his hands on the table with eyes that shown almost as bright as Taka's when hes determined, and shouting the title loud enough to make the tablet holding Tech Wiz flinch.

Hamilton

It took some explaining from a hopeful Sayaka, proud Chihiro, and flustered Mondo, but everyone seemed satisfied (or just dismissive in Byakuya and Mukuro's case) about preforming Hamilton. It was historical, information, enjoyable, well-written, and easy enough to learn for a bunch of Ultimates!

Now they just needed to figure out who's taking what role.

he can't have his pompadour because of biking helmets but he dyes his hair still bc it's cool as fuck

taka is the ultimate martial artist. after his grandpa's misconduct brought shame to the family, he decided to try restoring it through the renowned sport of honorable combat

is never not thinking about focus and discipline. tries to hide his relationship to his family in contests and school so that he never wins or loses a match because of rage alone

his grades and school conduct are still really good

Cashew - reading on the beach like a nerd. chills for the most part but does eventually join in the fun when you take a dip

Logan - unofficial life guard, snack mom and sunscreen police. also hydration police. he's just making sure everyone is having fun and survives!

Reece - running experiments to learn more about earth sand and sea water. gets buried in the sand at some point and doesn't know when it happened. (he was distracted!) enjoyed himself!

this is more a context post on the earlier one with oscar and ruby ship, its just that i feel that one is much better as a meme, brevity is the soul of wit and all that (feel free to do with this one what you will) ruby and oscar is mondo cute and those 2 dorks would work well together, theres plenty of fluff to be had and it would serve as perfect fodder for that delicious angst we all love(lets not lie to ourselves angst is our bread and butter) imagine oscar hearing that ruby likes milk and cookies, so he tries to give her a fresh pitcher every time he can. imagine those two having a fun sunny filled day at the farm, oscar tokyo drifting a tractor on a bet that he can still plant more seeds than ruby can with her semblance. Ruby teaching him how to not be dogged by cresent roses recoil. Just hanging out with zwei and being amazed by this miracle corgi who killed like 5 grimm after being told to guard the corn. Ruby and Oscar under the the light of the fireflies, discussing how they feel about the weigh of the world they share and also losing all of that. Oscar growing distant, worried, forgetfull of the moments hes had, those moments not gone but diluted, washing away under the weight of reincarnations posed by the gods. where he understand that he loves but that love is burdened with the loss of a hundred, hundred loves. and he is just a boy. He mourns the life he cannot live, never even understanding what kind of life he would have wanted because he never got around to figure it out. Ruby and Oscar desperately clinging on to what they have, but its like trying to hold sand in the tide. And eventually... it just breaks. In the end, theres just not enough of him to love, they both know this.

He smiles brightly before nodding seriously at his next words. "Yeah...really is. Fuckin' beat the hell outta anyone I catch doin' that kinda shit..." He mumbles with a light growl in his voice. With his physic, it was likely that he could make good on that statement and wasn't just talking.

"S' real fuckin' dumb that they do, specially with how many breeds 'r known for bein' smart 'n bein' bred to protect people." He says while smiling proudly at the sight of his beloved dog leaning into the pats and the sight of the little wagging tail. "Yeah, he's the best."

There is a certain pride at seeing someone else acknowledge the little dogs that he was raising, and he smiles as he puts Maxine back so she can mingle with her siblings, her collar the only way to tell her apart from some of them. "Yeah, they're real great, energetic, too." He smiles brightly. "Heck yeah! Thanks for the help!" For his foul words earlier, he's...oddly reluctant to actually swear aloud in front of the pups.

“Hm..I didn’t think anyone would share my abilities..a welcome surprise I suppose..” he muses to himself before nodding. “Such despicable creatures..there is a special place is my hell for such souls who dare lay a hand on them!!” Despite his amounts of yelling it’s clear he doesn’t like thinking about it either.

He quickly nods. “Many mortals look down on demonic beasts…despite that it’s a strength as they can overwhelm mortals with their fast intellect and power!!” He smiles and gives Chuck a small pet. “I see..you have tamed and raised him well.”

He follows close behind the other before his eyes light up at the mother dog and her puppies. It was such a wonderful sight he adored. “Hm..such strength at young ages..” he then smiles. “Then feel the sense of relief mortal! For I shall help you!”

Kiyotaka Ishimaru Ship Dynamics!

These are my personal opinions and headcanons! If you do not like them then please move on!

Assume these are all based in a Non-Despair AU!

Ishimondo

I've mentioned them before multiple times, but they're just that good and I adore them.

Real sweethearts and adore each other.

I've spoken about them multiple times now though so I'll just add some small things.

Daiya teases the two of them relentlessly. He refers to Taka as his brother-in-law and it always makes Mondo turn red- either with rage or embarrassment, who knows.

Takaaki was not a fan of the relationship at first, but eventually warmed up to Mondo after seeing how happy he made Taka- and not to mention how Mondo's changed immensely since they first met.

Daiya was the one to fully encourage Takaaki to just support them. He invited the Ishimarus over for dinner one night and it went lovely- after Mondo and Takaaki bickered for a while of course. Overall, it was a nice moment between all of them.

Takaaki eventually warms up to Mondo so much that he reveals that he also used to ride back when he was younger (I think it would be funny AND would shock everyone- not even Taka would know, shocking him the most.)

Ishikuro

YEAAAAH ANOTHER PERSONAL FAVORITE OF MINE

I love the concept of two people learning how to be in a relationship when they don't get social cues or haven't had anything similar to a romantic relationship before.

I think they have a lot of potential as a couple.

Either of them could've fallen first, but neither of them would've realized it at first. Mukuro would acknowledge it, but not have any clue of how to go about it, so would bury the feelings down deep inside and just try to ignore it. Kiyotaka would slowly realize it, only to freak out and panic because AHHHHHHH NEW FEELINGS ARE SCARY-

But once he calms down and accepts his feelings he'd probably bring it up with his friends. Leon would freak out about it but Chihiro, Hiro, and Mondo would be fully supportive about it. They'd help him ask her out before following them on their date to make sure nothing goes wrong (cough Junko cough)

Which speaking of-

Junko would NOT be happy with Mukuros crush. Mostly because she's not a fan of Kiyotaka, doesn't wanna lose Mukuros attention, and is jealous that someone actually chose her out of the two of them.

She'd probably try to sabotage their first date in any way she can, but of course Mondo, Chihiro, Leon, and Hiro are bros™ and won't let her ruin it.

And would you look at that! The date goes well!

Taka and Mukuro are very low-key and slow with their relationship- their first kiss had them bright red within minutes and neither of them could speak.

Like they had a system reset or some shit.

Against PDA, Taka wouldn't be very touchy with her in public. Even then, as they're still getting used to a romantic relationship, they aren't very touchy with each other. The most they'll do is cuddle in bed, either after Mukuro wakes up from a nightmare or Kiyotaka gets overwhelmed and shuts down.

In public, the most they would do is hold hands. It makes them both very happy.

They both just wanna take things slow and not ruin anything.

Mukuro is definitely a follower in this relationship, but Taka always encourages her to speak up or let him know if she's uncomfortable or if they wanna do something else together. She always appreciates being treated as an equal in the relationship.

After a while I think Mukuro is the one who likes to touch the most. Mostly holding his hand, arm, pinkie, or the strap of his bag whenever they walk. Almost like she wants everyone to know that she cares about this dork and if anyone touches him she will beat them up.

Both very protective of one another, Mukuro more than Taka but still both of them are very protective.
