#Momo talks video games

I was gonna structure this better but I think these rants express my point pretty well. (Spoilers ahead for aai games and DD)

Here's something that's been niggling at me since I realised it --

Possibly one of the biggest flaws in the new series writer's finales are that they have 2 climaxes. I think that's Trials and Tribulations' fault (it's ALWAYS T&T'S FAULT) (although T&T is the closest example I can think of as to why this happens), but it's also just an issue and I hope SOJ helped him learn to stop doing that.

Like, in T&T, the whole finale climax is when you exorcise Dahlia. Calling Godot out after that is technically part of the falling action / resolution, but I can see how it can be mistaken for a second climax since like, people care a lot about Godot

(none of the other Shu Takumi AA games do this as far as I can think of. They all have very clear climax points and then everything else is falling action)

Compare to the aai games, DD, and SoJ, all of which have 2 climaxes in their finales. Aai1 has the whole Calisto Yew capture (works as a climax), then the climax of catching the leader of the smuggling ring (can't be called falling action because it takes another goddamn 5 hours to catch this man). Then aai2 has the Sebastian standing up to his dad as the first climax, then the whole mastermind thing as the second climax (same problem as aai1 as well, can't be called falling action because it takes another like 5 hours to get there) (and these are both treated as climax and very much not the same as the whole Maya testimony to catch Godot. Like that is very much falling action and has a different feel than these other two things.)

Like sure the smuggling ring has a whole throughline for the entire game, meanwhile Calisto Yew was only brought up in case 4 of 5, but she actually gets better buildup than the smuggling ring?? Probably because of the emotional investment ties she has not just to Kay, but to Edgeworth and Franziska and Badd as well! (And Gumshoe haha)

It's insane how much more I am invested in Calisto Yew than like, the smuggling ring. Or the Phantom, who has basically the same thing in DD (and with somehow LESS buildup despite being a part of the game's story from the first case!!) (…retroactively since the first case, but y'know. DD is a fucking mess hahaha)

Tangent: I have so many gripes with the Phantom, from taking an actually fun and likeable character (Fulbright) and making him the LEAST INTERESTING THING when he could have been cool (master of disguise!! Seamlessly emulates literally anyone imaginable!! Very little emotions!! That's such a cool concept I can't believe y'all fucking wasted it!!) and never actually building him up so that he's an actual presence

He's technically in the story from the first case, but only because. He's the one that detonated the bomb

If case 5-1 didn't happen in-between 5-4 like it did, then he wouldn't be there until 5-4 and it'd SUCK (okay technically he's there since 5-2 because. Fulbright. But Fulbright is straight up a different character from the Phantom so. I don't want to count it.)

It feels like the Phantom replaces Fulbright in 5-4 because of how little they paid attention to placing any hint that he was the Phantom all along. Ugh. As Verse keeps saying, they should have killed Gumshoe, for real

And it's not like this writer does a bad job at Gumshoe!! Gumshoe is one of the better parts of the aai games!! (He has rocks for brains but he's endearingly stupid XD )

Anyway. Back to the whole two climaxes dilemma.

In DD it's the whole Athena and Blackquill thing as the first Climax, then catching the Phantom is the second. This one is interesting because it's two breakdowns in the same case / trial segment, which does happen in DGS! But in DGS it has more time between them and, again, are treated differently on the story timeline feel. DGS has rising peaks and moments of calm that add to the rising action leading to the climax, whereas in DD these are both treated as bombastic climaxes without much differentiation between them. At least, that's how it feels to me?

And then SoJ just straight up has two separate trials in its finale case (which aren't even like 3-2 or 6-3 in which one trial leads into the other) and does better about having two climaxes, but I think all the peaks in the rising action are oddly paced and it has a satisfying ending but the journey to get there is a bit muddled. It doesn't exactly feel like it has two climaxes at least, showing that there has been improvement here, but it's still very messy.

I really hope the writer for AA7 at least learns from all this so we don't keep having this problem. It's funny how much we take writing fanfiction for granted and then see how much skill it actually takes to write something that feels like someone else's characters.

Fluff headcanons:

In order: Bakugo, Denki, Jiro, Kirishima, Mindoriya, Mina, Momo, Ochaco, Sero, Shoji, Todoroki, Tokoyami, Tsu

Bakugo: 

Bakugo would love to torture you with horror movies because it was funny to see your reactions, but mostly because he loved you jumping into his arms at the sight of something scary. He would gently wrap his arm around you while you hid under the blanket, of course while laughing at you. 

He is fiercely defensive of you, even if it's hard for him to admit to other people that you both are dating. If he even hears a whisper of slander towards you, he challenges whoever said it even if they are a pro. (Making work studies extremely difficult with him)

You love to steal his shirts and sweatshirts, he claims it's annoying and you need to go to your own closet. But what he doesn’t tell you is how he loves seeing you walk around with it on. Letting everyone know you're his without having to tell them.

Denki:

Denki can be dumb, extremely dumb, but he tries his hardest for you. He would try to cook dinner for you, only for it to end up burnt and inedible. This would put both of you into a giggle fit until you eventually just order pizza. 

You and Denki are the worst combo in the dorms because all you both do is prank people or accept dares. You are the other half of his brain but unfortunately, that means you both only have half of one. 

Denki and your relationship would feel so natural that you both and everyone else would feel like you have dated for your entire lives. 

Every time you left your phone alone with him he would take hundreds of photos on your phone, and then he would charge it for you.

Jiro:

Jiro would obviously write songs for you and playfully show you them. You both would make silly wallpapers for each other's phones. (Think like the lipstick heart pictures). She would brag about you to anyone around willing to listen. 

Some nights you both would sit and make bracelets for each other while listening to music and talking. 

Jiro would let you do her makeup or draw on her whenever you wanted, she loved looking at her arm and seeing all your doodles. 

Kirishima: 

Kirishima would show you off to anyone and everyone, when you first got together everyone immediately knew because he couldn’t keep his hands off you. If it was an arm around you or holding your hand, he would constantly be touching you in some way. 

You both would play video games against each other for hours, he would let you win just to see you smile.

Every few weeks or so Kirishima’s hair would grow out so you would sit and redye it for him. Eventually, he convinced you to do a streak of red in your hair to match. Now you both have red hair, he loves seeing that streak, reminding him of how much he loves you.

Midoriya:

Midoriya and you would study together constantly, him oblivious to your moves on him. Eventually, you got fed up and just told him and he was shocked and blinked at you for a few seconds before freaking out. Shortly after his freak-out, you both started dating. 

You would mostly have study dates and sit next to each other enjoying each other's presence. 

When you got bored you would braid his hair and play with it. It would relax him so much he would often fall asleep while you did it. 

He would buy you little gifts of things that reminded him of you and leave them with little notes in your room. 

Mina: 

Mina was your best friend before you started dating, so you two were as close as can be. You both would spend your nights watching trashy shows and making fun of the characters. Or you would play card games together. Mina loves to paint your nails knowing you show them off to everyone. 

Whenever she had a show (for dance) you would make a big sign and stand right in front so she could always see you cheering her on. 

Some days you both would try to bake something and often it would end up poorly, but you both always had fun. Flour on your faces, giggling on the kitchen counter. You both understood each other more than anyone else.

Momo: 

Momo would always bring you tea at night, no matter what you both were doing. She would show up at the library with a thermos if she had to. 

You would always find new tea for her to try and gift her a little note with it. She often would pack lunches for you, with cute little animal cutouts, or heart-shaped vegetables. 

You both would read books and annotate them for each other and then switch to read the other’s. It would result in a lot of inside jokes and memories.

Ochaco: 

Ochaco would draw little doodles in class and pass them to you for you to add to them. She would buy you matching keychains for your backpacks. 

You often ended up sharing clothes since you were the same size. She loves to steal your hoodies and sweaters. 

Each morning she does your hair for the day, if it's a braid, or straightening it. She loves to play with your hair. 

She took up knitting to knit you blankets knowing you love blankets to cuddle up in. It took her a while but eventually, she started making very nice blankets for you both to snuggle in. 

Sero: 

You and Sero are total goofs around each other, never able to stop laughing at each other. 

Each night you would always end up either in his bed or yours, it wasn’t often you slept alone. You would wake up completely wrapped by him. 

He would make tiktok edits of you and then show you super excitedly to see your reaction. 

He loves when you wear lipstick because he always makes you kiss his cheek so he can walk around with a lipstick mark on his face. 

He often would give you his hoodies to wear, encouraging you to wear his clothes.

Shoji: 

He would learn how to do your hair for you, whether it's dying it or braiding, he learned it all so he could spend that time with you. 

You would love to cuddle with him since he could wrap all of his arms around you, and you would just be absorbed in his warmth. 

You often repair his shirts, since it is hard for him to find ones that fit properly, so you love to sew up any tears for him. 

Whenever he sees you’re sad he always makes your favorite food and bakes your favorite dessert. 

Honestly just total princess treatment.

Todoroki: 

Todoroki isn’t very good at showing emotions so he would show his love in other ways. He always leaves a glass of water by your bed in case you wake up thirsty. 

He studies with you before every test, and you both help each other in places you’re lacking. 

You love to take him to the mall and dress him up in different ways, he usually acts clueless but secretly loves the attention to detail you give him. 

During winter you are usually freezing, so he has you cuddle his left side so he can gently warm you up. 

One year for Christmas he didn’t know what to get you, so he bought matching sweaters and shirts for you both. You now make him wear them every week. 

Tokoyami:

Tokoyami loves to watch you draw, you usually end up throwing away your silly doodles, but he always finds them and puts them up by his desk. Whenever he misses you he just looks through all the drawings he watched you make. 

You also love to put cutesy Sanrio stickers all over him, you think it's funny seeing such a gloomy person covered in pink and glitter. 

Tokoyami enjoys being with you no matter what you both are doing. 

Tsu: 

She takes you to the local botanical garden to look at all the plants and bugs. You usually end up in the butterfly garden with her for hours. 

You both decided to start a garden together and spend a lot of your free time together caring for it. 

During the summer, you and Tsu go to the local river to swim or kayak or really do any water sports. You both love to be in the water and often go swimming together. 

During the school year, Tsu knows you always need a snack between classes so she keeps one on her to give you when you get hungry. And it somehow always ends up being your favorite.

-has scars from his quirk. They look like lightning strikes and line up his arms and some on his torso (this isn’t canon I just think it’s good for the character)

-a bit of a perv. Ex: caught staring at you multiple times. LOTS of suggestive comments. “Jokingly” has tried to look up your skirt. Buys you revealing clothes. Encourages you to wear said revealing clothes. Still your number 1 cheerleader tho and we love him •_•

-only he is allowed to be a perv around you. As soon as mineta makes a comment/acts he’ll glare at him. “She’s mine. Go bug Momo”

-When he overuses his quirk/short circuits, he relies completely on instinct. Somehow his instincts always lead him to you. It’s kinda cute

-gets bullied for his quirk. You will literally beat up anyone who does that tho

-such a bubbly personality. He’s such a sweetheart though

-has a pikachu plushie and/or onesie

-will charge your phone for you. It hurts him if he does it too much, but on the occasions when he’s fully charged himself, he’s doing it for you

-you aren’t allowed to carry anything remotely heavy around him. “Don’t worry sweetheart, I got that for you”

-pays for everything. You simply cannot offer to pay without him faking offence

-lets you watch him workout. If you what to join he’ll gladly help you use the equipment if you’re new to the gym, or simply be your spotter. If you don’t want to join him, he’s definitely showing off with the weights.

-classic romantic dates. Restaurants, and picnics are his specialty (definitely some gym dates mixed in there)

-always shirtless. He just wants to show off. It’s not like you’re complaining though….

-he’s really insecure about his quirk, and doesn’t think he’s good enough. Just remind him that you love him. Give him loads of attention and affection when he has his panic episodes.

-lets you dye/style his hair. His favourite positions is you sitting in the counter redoing his roots, while he’s in a chair in front of you. He doesn’t even need entertainment, he’s just enjoying the feeling of your gloved hands in his hair.

Aizawa Knows something weird was up with his class there's no doubt about it always following around you, having picky arguments about who knows you better, and trying to ask you about your life, it was to the point he had to glare at them to make you back off a bit from you but even after that they'll still surround you and try and win for your affection

Hizaahi, on the other hand, was a bit Jealous and angry that his child guest was being coddled by His Husband's Students he saw the way Izuku would ask you about your information to draw it down in his little notebook,

How Ochako would stare at you like you were more important than the lesson, Bakugo complained because you didn't eat lunch with him, and the other extras he even saw Jirou glaring from a distance when you were talking with Momo and saw Momo smirking from that

You on the other didn't give a shit but at times their antics by doing little petty things to try and get your attention even when you were busy like when Mina interrupted your conversation with Shinso cause she wanted to invite you to a night out and when you asked if shins could join she made a weird face at him and immediately said girls are only allowed while she walked away Hitoshi grumbled something under his breath,

Sato pulling you away from your video game making you try out his sweets to make sure to give him a good ratingDenki and Sero trying to flirt and tease you while you stare at them unamused, Aoyama forcing you to eat some sort of cheese even tho you didn't like cheese that much, and you could've sworn seeing dark shadow peaking through the door?

They would always throw at each other whenever you were on the topic bragging about who knew you better, who they spent more time with, and who was your "best friend" to the point it was a blood bath and war

One day Mr. Aizawa had a very special announcement "Class we are going to go on a field trip today" Everybody in your class cheered Cleary was excited to go on this trip while you weren't paying attention as you were sneaking and playing on your phone "but you gotta pick a partner with you" as soon as you heard the word partner the world became slow and the realization hit as you saw your classmates eyes on you as if they were about to pounce on you

When you were about to say a word every single one of your classmates started banging on your desk begging you and demanding you be their partner

shouto todoroki

nonverbal, he has a wide regression range [0-6] and is consistently unable to speak when little

if he wants or needs anything he will whine, but he's typically very low maintenance

ipad baby.. he will very happily chill with a paci and watch videos/shows or play a game for hours

while he's easy to take care of, he is clingy. he loves affection and always wants to be held. there's almost no one he wouldn't accept hugs from

occasionally goes through phases where he acts difficult on purpose, his little brain doesn't realise but it affirms his feelings of being safe and allowance to express himself

padded little! he usually needs them. sometimes he doesn't like wearing diapers when he's 5-6 but he has to wear them just in case. when he's 0-4 he doesn't mind at all or even likes them, they can be cute and comfy

he has a small group of plushies and he loves them a lot, he doesn't want more because he doesn't want to give the ones he already has less attention

his plushies are named after his friends! deku, tenten, raka, tsu, and kat. ironically, his frog plush is tenten, tsu is an otter

loves tea parties, he has a few tea sets and pretend pastries. his plushies have assigned teacups

while he can't speak, he has specific names he calls people in his mind. aizawa is dad/dada/daddy, iida is papa, izuku is bubby, bakugo is babba, tsuyu is sis, and ochaco is auntie

denki kaminari

very fussy, he doesn't like rules or being told what to do, he just wants to have fun

he's forgetful and hyperfocuses on things though, so he needs a schedule

it's easy to calm him down and stop his complaining, he just needs a promise of something yummy or fun and he'll perk back up

either very high or very low energy. he usually becomes more hyper when little and regresses 5-8, but if he regresses after overdoing his quirk he's 0-3 and much more calm

when he's 5-8 he's very talkative and needs someone watching him lest he run off and talk to strangers, when he's 0-3 he mostly babbles and doesn't verbalise much

lots of stim toys! they're his go to because they're useful for him when he's big too, but he also loves dolls and blocks

he loves going to parks or playgrounds with his friends, either for picnics or to play

typically calls everyone the same thing he normally does (mina, kacchan/bakugo, sero, kirishima, sensei) but if he's very emotional, regressed younger, or they do something very nice for him he'll call them some kind of familial name. mina sis, bakugo bub, sero babs, kirishima bubby, aizawa uncle

when he's 0-3 he and little shouto are best buds. chill play, cuddles and napping

had an obsessive bath chalk phase, he would throw fits when it was time to get out and started carrying them around outside the bath too

momo yaoyorozu

regresses 2-3, for a while she tried to hide her regression because she can speak and move pretty well, not as well as normal but not obviously childlike

after she's found out she still tries to be helpful and do things for everyone but figures out after some helpful conversations that children aren't supposed to be that way and she doesn't always have to be on top of things, and her feelings of responsibility are most likely why she regresses

she enjoys tea parties with shouto, even though he doesn't speak it's still fun to be with another little and have all their plushies together. she sometimes brings some of her fancy teas for whoever is caring for them to make

has lots of plushies that all stay on her bed. she has names, personalities, and stories for all 20+ of them

she journals for her plushies and makes everyone read them before playing with her as if they're board game rules

prefers being inside to outside, she'll sometimes go to the park or playground with kaminari and whoever else but she tends to be anxious and overaware of people

loves bath time! she's only comfortable with a few people but likes bubbles, bath toys, and really likes being dried off by someone else

has nap times, she loves to be tucked in and given a warm bottle. she likes bedtime stories but is just as content with instrumental music or white noise. she won't admit it but likes to be put to bed by adults (aizawa, yamada, toshinori) the most

izuku midoriya

regresses 3-5

lots of all might toys, of course. he already collects them when big so it's only fitting he enjoys them when little

onesie lover!! he absolutely adores wearing them and has a whole bunch, there's heroes, dinosaurs, animals and monsters

has complicated feelings towards bakugo when little, sometimes he cries and cries for him and other times he doesn't want to be anywhere around him or hear about him

definitely thinks of people with familial terms in his head! he's a little shy about using them though, only when he's confident or feeling clingy

all might is still all might, but also dad/dada, aizawa is uncle, iida is papa, ochaco is momma, tsuyu is sis. other classmates are also sis or some variation of brother, except bakugo who will always be kacchan

bakugo is very awkward with him but calls him bubby which izuku absolutely loves, he also lets izuku hug him which means he almost always has izuku clung to his side when they're together

has a lot of energy and bounces a lot, he loves to dance. mina hangs out with him a lot and izuku thinks she's the coolest ever

tsuyu asui

regresses 6-8

loves disney junior, especially mickey mouse clubhouse

a crafty little! she's loves to make things, from cards to her own picture books

she finds denki a little annoying because he always wants to play together when they're both regressed but she likes to do her own thing

doesn't need a caregiver but likes to have people around close by

she mostly calls people the same as normal, except aizawa who she calls "mister dad"

after yamada jokingly complained about aizawa getting to be mister dad while he's still mic, she started to call him "mister uncle"

loves going to the park or playground with kaminari and whoever is taking him. while she's an independent little, she likes being the focal point and tries to steal attention from denki, she doesn't realise but it's a result of being the oldest sibling

she's neutral to physical affection until winter comes around and she's constantly curled up to someone. usually it ends up being shoji or tokoyami, but if shouto is also little they're like magnets

loves bedtime stories, since she doesn't need a caregiver she doesn't get put to bed often but that makes her treasure it more when it happens

regresses to 4

loves blanket forts and nests

just like when big, he likes things with a dark or fantasy vibe. he loves cartoons that have mysteries, witches, vampires or 'scary campfire stories' and halloween episodes

a low maintenance but clingy little, just like shouto! they sometimes cuddle together while watching something, but shouto gets scared easily and tokoyami isn't interested in his shows

if he's taken to the park he will make potions with sticks and mud. the only time little tokoyami is troublesome is if someone tries to stop him from doing this, he will pick up bugs to scare them

he's open about his regression but an independent little, he usually doesn't go out of his way to tell people or seek them out when he's regressed, but if someone is around he'll ask them to be with him

doesn't talk much, only when he wants to say something or has to respond to someone. he prefers to be in silence but still with company

friendly with tsu because he also likes crafts! but he's more of a colouring kiddo than making things, he loves to give his drawings to people he likes, even if they're completely unrelated to them. almost everyone in class a has some sort of weird drawing they have from him

I think that pop culture witchcraft is beautiful and sacred and I think more people should get into it!

My views on the intersection of popular culture (aka, the dominant cultural beliefs and creations at this moment in time) and witchcraft originate from the fact that when I began doing a lot of energy work, I saw a lot of stuff as video game characters & assets.

If I would binge any video game, for the next little while, a lot of my energy readings would be output in the symbols and lore from that game.

E.g., a pokemon binge, seeing Gengar near the querent: "Yes, you're being haunted by a ghost."

A DAO binge, seeing a dryad writing a letter to the querent: "A tree wants to talk to you."

These experiences have deeply influenced my beliefs on the nature of psychism, communing with the spirit world, and divination as a whole. It has inspired my beliefs on how to work with divinatory tools, especially my concepts of choosing your own symbol sets to work with.

After all, an upright triangle is so abstract, but a charmander? For many of us, that is a deeply rooted symbol of fire indeed! And I can't imagine how a triangle might act if it needs to be revived and balanced in my life, but I can surely visualize a charmander feeling sick and cold, or desperately trying to stack and balance heavy boxes.

This inspired me to consider the intersection of popular culture and the experiential nature of witchcraft. After all, aren't so many of us deeply imprinted on and influenced by what culture has told us about magic and spirits? Where is the line in the sand between how culture makes us interact with magic (path), and how culture makes us interact with magic (practice)?

Let me tell you a story!!

There is some internet monster named Momo. Momo has a *very* scary face (to me at least) so be warned if you google.

But when this story starts, I had never heard of Momo. I had never seen a picture of Momo or heard her name. Yes? Yes.

Now one time, I was doing an energy reading for a person, and I saw a horrifying monster woman with huge eyes and a twisted smile like a V slashed across her face, and not only this, but the horrifying monster woman was standing over the querent's bed, watching them sleep.

As a reader with about an ounce of wisdom, I knew much better than to say, "hey, a horrifying monster is watching you while you sleep." Because that is a dick thing to say to anyone.

As I continued watching to try and gain more information, it struck me that this monster woman wasn't threatening at all. She didn't have bad vibes. In fact she seemed neutral, or perhaps even an ally. She was just watching the person sleep.

I couldn't help but notice, however, that I could see her face so clearly. So distinctly. So I googled something like, "big smile scary woman face."

And there she was: Momo! The exact monster I was seeing. It was a startling moment, made all the more strange by the fact that this wasn't some monster of mythical lore or legend. It was like, a TikTok trend or something.

Finally I had to tell the querent something. Now y'all this happened some years ago and I don't remember exactly how it went down, but it was like this:

"Hey, someone is watching you sleep. The form is scary looking but they don't seem threatening at all. I googled it and it looks exactly like an internet urban legend named Momo."

"What? My cat?"

"No, it's a woman, an urban legend named Momo."

"No, my cat Momo. My cat is named Momo. She watches me while I sleep."

So to answer your question, Anon:

I expect that a fictional god can manifest at least as bizarrely as a real cat, I believe that the simple phrase "real world" is an artifact that fits into few reliquaries of the occult, and I think that pop culture witchcraft is absolutely fabulous.

when you just want to show your boyfriend a cute thing you did at the beach, but it turns into a gigglefest

Class 1A had just returned from a very pleasant and much needed trip to the beach. After working so hard lately, especially in the midst of a sudden heat wave, Aizawa had decided that the students deserved a break - and a little fun.

Some of them swam or played volleyball, like Kirishima, while others relaxed in the sun or tanned, like Kaminari (although he was the only boy who decided to focus on getting a tan; he claimed only the sun’s “healing rays” could relax his body and mind after such an intense training period).

The couple didn’t see each other much during the day, even on the bus ride home; Kirishima sat with Bakugou, who was insistent Todoroki had cheated at volleyball, while Kaminari sat with Sero so they could chat about a video game they had both been playing recently.

Kirishima and Kaminari made it a point to spend some time together once the bus had arrived back to the dorm so they could unwind and talk to each other about their beach activities. When they got back they immediately went to Kirishima’s room, chatting excitedly.

“Man, that was fun. I wish we could go to the beach every week!” Kirishima exclaimed.

Kaminari nodded in agreement. “Me, too. I feel so sleepy now, but definitely refreshed. I guess sitting in the sun all day does that to you.” His eyes suddenly lit up.

“Oh yeah, I was going to show you something on the bus, but I forgot!” He dropped his bag on the floor, excited, and turned to Kirishima, who had taken a seat on the edge of his bed; he’d shower later.

“Look, look!” Kaminari exclaimed, lifting the hem of his shirt and pointing to his torso. “Look what I did!”

Kirishima leaned over to see what Kaminari was showing him. He could now see, starting from slightly above and going down onto the blond’s hipbone, the pale shape of a lightening bolt, contrasting nicely against the rest of Kaminari’s suntanned skin.

“Woah,” Kirishima breathed, smiling at the spot. “How’d you do that?”

“It was Mina’s idea! She wanted to make a little star out of sunscreen on her back so when she tanned, it would leave the shape. Then Ururaka wanted to do a heart on her leg, and Momo wanted to do a flower on her shoulder. I wanted to do one too, and Mina thought a lightening bolt would suit me. Cool, right?”

Kirishima grinned at his boyfriend, finding his excitement cute. “Very cool, and such a manly shape, too!” Almost without thinking, Kirishima reached out and pressed into the pale shape with his index finger.

Kaminari yipped, his body slightly shrinking into itself, and he let go of his shirt in order to slam his hands over his mouth. Both boys’ eyes went wide and Kaminari’s ears flushed a bright red. Kirishima’s eyebrows shot up with a grin. “Oh?” What was that?”

Kaminari only shook his head, eyes never leaving Kirishima’s face. It was like the smaller boy knew what was about to happen but was paralyzed in anticipation.

As soon as Kaminari’s body made the slightest movement indicating he was about to make a run for it, Kirishima lunged and grabbed him around the waist, cackling at Kaminari’s surprised squeal.

“Wait, no - wahait, put me down!”

“Put you down? Sounds good to me!”

Kirishima flopped onto his bed, Kaminari still in his arms, and quickly maneuvered his and Kaminari’s bodies so Kaminari was lying on his back with Kirishima kneeling between his legs.

Kaminari was already giggling, hands out in front of himself defensively and eyes squinted in mirth as he looked at Kirishima hovering over him. “Whyhyhy?”

Kirishima barked out a laugh.

“Why? Because it’s cute!”

Before Kaminari could giggle out any more protests, Kirishima grabbed both of his boyfriend’s hands in one of his own and pinned them to the blond’s own chest. His free hand hovered above Kaminari’s hip near the little lightening bolt shape, and he made a big show of flexing his thumb in the air directly above the hipbone. Kaminari was near hysterical, shaking his head and arching his back and giggling up a storm. “You don’t have to d-do this!”

“On the contrary,” Kirishima teased, “I think I do, especially since this lovely spot has been so nicely highlighted for me. This was obviously meant to be!”

He finally started tickling Kaminari for real, digging his thumb right into the concave area of the boy’s hipbone and kneading the sunscreened shape like dough. Kaminari let out a delicious scream that gave way to boyish belly laughter, head thrown back and legs kicking. “Oh nohoho!” He cried.

“Oh, yes!” Kirishima crowed, laughing along with his boyfriend as he writhed, trying so hard to dislodge Kirishima’s hand or roll away and failing miserably at both. A particularly well placed knead made Kaminari squeal at fever-pitch; small sparks zinged out of his fingertips, startling Kirishima, who couldn’t help but chuckle at his boyfriend; one of his most favourite things about making Kaminari laugh hard was the inevitable and unconscious discharge of his quirk, like the blond’s glee couldn’t simply be contained to his body and needed an escape route.

Kirishima lightened his touch a bit, still poking gently at the pale lightening bolt with his finger. He couldn’t stop giggling because Kaminari couldn’t stop giggling. He thought the two of them must have made quite a sight.

“Mean,” Kaminari whined, before hiccuping once and causing both boys to giggle harder. “So mean!”

Kirishima laughed brightly. “I could be meaner, if you wanted…”

Kirishima made a lobster claw with one of his hands and lightly placed it around one of Kaminari’s knees, not even tickling yet. Kaminari, of course, absolutely lost it, squealing and laughing even harder than he had been, even without actually being tickled there; knee tickles were a whole different level for him.

“Please, plehease, I’m tired!” He shrieked, a snort shooting from his nose. “L-later, okay? You can do it later, I promise!”

Kirishima burst out laughing at that, releasing Kaminari from his clutches and laying down next to him. “Fine, but only because you asked so politely.”

A pause.

“I really like your lightening bolt.”

Kaminari’s giggles died down and he turned on his side to look at Kirishima, eyes still shining with mirth.

“You should do something next time too! Maybe like… a rock, or something.

Kirishima laughed. “Wouldn’t that just be a circle?”

Kaminari laughed too. “Oh yeah, I guess. Maybe, like, the outline of a mountain range?”

“Yeah, that could work! Where?”

“Maybe your chest,” Kaminari offered, “or your back.” He thought for a moment. “Actually, we should do it on your ribcage. It’s only fair to me if we put it somewhere you’re ticklish.” To emphasize his point, he gave Kirishima a pinch to his ribs. The redhead yelped and grabbed his boyfriend’s offending hand.

“Careful, Kami. You wouldn’t want me to hold you to your… promise, before you’ve had a chance to rest, hm?”

Kaminari blushed so red he might as well have not worn any sunscreen at the beach.

Become a hero is almost every child's wish! In a world with superpowers the idea of becoming a hero is like a dream come true! And now that you are in the hero course you can't feel happier. Everything about the course seems like a dream, from your classmates to the teachers, the facilities, the dorms, the classes, it all show how close you truly are to become a hero

Everyday in Class 1A is like a new little adventure, with the training and all those exercises that simulate real situations as a profesional hero every day is quite exciting, learning new things and improving your own habilities gives you a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction like anything before, slowly boosting your self confidence

And not forget about you classmates, no matter how shy you have being at the start everyone is so welcoming and cheerful, everyone is kind in their own way that is so heartwarming

You have spend your days having little adventures with your friends, from playing video games non stop with Denki, Sero and Kirishima to not only learning to dance but do it randomly on the common room with Mina, having some time to just relax and talk with your new friends, enjoying some of the tea Momo kindly make for everyone and even the pastries Sato kindly have share with you

Ever when it comes to school, Momo is more than willing to take you in her little study group (and help you not fail on your grades) or training with your friends to learn new things, everyone is a good option to ask for help but Deku is the more analyltical and he is more than ready to give you some advices about what he can see on your quirk (as long as you don't mind the ranting, he just can't control it)

Even whenever you feel down they are always there to offer some help, like Aoyama who is more aware than he seems and would share you some comforting words in his own way and cheese or Kirishima who is always there to tell you how manly you have being!

Clearly, being in Class 1A, studying for in the future become a profesional hero is like a true dream! Or, well, thats what you constantly tell yourself

Everyday you wake up and remind yourself how amazing are the people around you, trying your best to put a smile before getting out of you room, sometimes a sincere one, other time one not so sincere and yet they always manage to sincerely make you smile

Its true that you have being feeling genuinely happy, having so much fun with your friends and even if school is quite hard sometimes it have made you truly happy, looking back you can easily say that this is the happiest you have being since a long time, or maybe in your entire life

And yet, is not enough to take away the sorrow of your heart, to take out those unspoke feelings that live inside of you, those that torture you in the darkness of your room, those feeling that make you feel like trash, that reminds you that not all in life is fun and you wont be good enough when the time comes to confront the real world, that feeling that makes you just want to finish everything

Even when this has being the happiest days of you life you have already made up your mind, you went through your days like always, having fun with your friends, smiling and laughing at their side, doing your best o what you are doing until the end of the week, without them noticing you prepare everything to put an end to your life, even writing a goodbye note to your dearest friends, hopefuly they won't get mad at you for nor saying it in person

When the day finally came you went through the day like always, enjoying your time with them at its fullest until the moment it came, saying a last bye with a smile and going back to your room, taking some small deep breaths to get ready, smiling to yourself for finally achiving what you wanted the most, ready to finally close your eyes and don't open them ever again, quietly thanking life for letting you met such amazing people before letting the heaviness and sorrow that torments your heart win and finally put an end to your life

I had honestly forgotten that the Gaang were trying to find an earthbending teacher, so the 'previously on' segment was actually useful instead of spoilery.

So I'm guessing the two idiots at the earthbending academy are doing that excercise where kung fu people stick their hands in sand (I've seen videos of it) but it really looked like they were in the 'beat back the dough' phase of making bread.

In this universe of plot-convenient clothing blindness, how do Dumb and Dumber recognise Aang as the one who beat the Blind Bandit?

I think the voice actor for the dumb kid with actual hair did a bunch of voices in season 1. The soldier who gives Aang Bato's map comes to mind.

Have I said recently how much I love Sokka and Katara?

These wrestling guys keep switching between first and third person. Too many rocks to the head.

Final Thoughts

IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, this episode feels like it's movie quality. This show is usually excellent, but this feels like a cut above. I feel like I could sense the love the writers, animators, voice actors, everyone had for this episode. They had a good time making it and were enthusiastic about it. And there were lots of tiny background details in this episode too. I'm sure I missed quite a few. Oh No! I'll have to rewatch it!

New team member! That hasn't happened since Momo. Actually, no wonder the episode was so good. Introducing the first new team member in at least a season's worth of episodes is a delicate operation. I bet they were workshopping this episode since early in the first season.

And Toph! (thank you credits for how to spell that - I was really hoping it wasn't Toff). Be still my heart I love Toph. She may well take Sokka's spot as my favourite character. Strength of character, self-assurance, emotional intelligence, badassery, mastery of violence, what's not to love!!!

How did she get so emotionally intelligent and articulate if her parents have kept her caged her whole life? I don't know but I'm not complaining!

How did her parents get away with caging her for her whole life? I do know (money) and I am complaining. Very much so. And yet Toph can still find it within herself to have an honest conversation with them, including apologising for leaving said cage. I never would have had the maturity to do that in a similar situation. I would have gone the Katara explosive rage route.

A little girl who stands up for herself. Against HER PARENTS. I just. Do you know how amazing that is? Especially in a kids' show? I was ROBBED by not being able to see this show when I was Toph's age.

Does bending work like a muscle, in that you build up stamina? Because if so, then Toph is the strongest human earthbender in the world by default. If she's using it in place of seeing, then she's using it 100% of the time that she's awake, all day every day. By the time she was like 5 years old she'd probably used her bending more than the average earthbender does in their whole lifetime.

My one complaint is Toph's voice. Nothing wrong with it; this is a me thing. It fits her perfectly, but my ears do not play well with nasal voices, which hers is. I had to rewind quite a few times and resorted to subtitles by the end. Hopefully I'll get used to it like I did Zuko's.

Sokka! My soon to be demoted beloved! He shone in this episode. I love that he has fashion sense and is not afraid to show it. I'm thinking, what with how hung up he was on masculinity at the start of the show, that the water tribes have a different conception of masculinity: one that classes fashionability as a masculine or gender neutral trait. Even back in season one it didn't take much to get Sokka into the Kyoshi warrior uniform, and he's shockingly good at applying face paint symmetrically. Which I still cannot do with winged eyeliner.

Katara! Not headed for a career in diplomacy but so satisfying to watch. I would love to have a Katara in my pocket that I could unleash on people. And her and Sokka bouncing off each other this episode was great. Every one was at peak performance this episode, except Aang. Not at his brightest this episode.

Checking for typos before I post this and I realise I'd already forgotten that Toph is blind! Just like in the Northern Air Temple, this is how you do disability right: as just a part of who they are, rather than an entire personality. This show is so good.

Okay but the thing. About no one being able to recognise Link. Is that

even if he's had time to live in the world again after BotW, Link is still an outsider to this era.

Link and Zelda are over a hundred years old now. Sure, they didn't really live through that gap, but a gap it remains for them.

it strikes me that the only area in the game where the people recognise Link is in Zora's domain. The Zora people live incredibly long lives and thus remember Link. He grew up here. He has history here. A hundred years doesn't matter when the Zora people whom he grew up around remain.

Zora's domain being such a contrast to the rest of Hyrule is really striking to me. Link is a near mythical creature; he existed over a hundred years ago and yet he's managed to remain and so

of course no one can recognise him. The myth he's become can never match who he truly is. He's as human as he can be; of course no one can recognise him as the legendary swordsman.

chapter 6: important assemblies, conversations & halloween

OCTOBER

you sat in the gym as principal nezu talked to the school. the importance of bullying. you shrunk in your seat next to shoto as you knew this was organized only for you. “we ask that if you have the video wipe it off entirely, we will be checking cellular devices” mr. aizawa’s voice boomed throughout the gym, still angry.

you leaned your head on shoto as you sat there, arms crossed. “i want to go back to my dorm” you muttered and shoto leaned his head against yours. “me too” he muttered and you sighed. hanta sat in the row above you and was staring at yours and shoto’s heads.

he sighed and leaned his chin on his hand. he’s been beating himself up about this. its all his fault. he sits at night listening to music in his dorm as he thinks of a way to fix this. whereas you on the other hand, dumped everything into a box and threw it out the next morning.

you had walked by the dumpster later on that day and saw the box was gone. you thought it might’ve been hanta grabbing it to get his belongings back. you dont know it but juzo grabbed it with the help of itsuka, tetsutetsu, neito, and yosetsu.

it sits in his dorm room untouched, waiting for the day you might want to reconcile with hanta. juzo has never seen you this happy. he wants that back for you. he looked over at you as you sat not that far from him and he frowned.

2 weeks had gone by since your “break up” with hanta and he can tell how exhausted and drained you are. you havent eaten, your sleeping schedule is fucked up, and your grades started slipping. he’s worried. everyone is.

principal nezu dismissed the school and you got up. you held shoto’s hand by instinct and walked out of the gym with him. “im so tired” you yawned and shoto looked down at you. “nap time?” he asks and you nod eagerly.

you entered the dormitory complex and mr. aizawa stopped everyone. “line up its time to check cellular devices” he grumbled out as everyone stood in the line. you pulled yours out and unlocked it, waiting for your turn.

you handed him yours and he gave you the all clear without even looking at it. shoto was cleared and you stood off to the side because you know this composed of a big lecture.

you talked with shoto quietly as yuga, ochaco, izuku, tenya, and momo joined you two shortly. you heard a smash and looked over to the line. mr. aizawa had shattered minoru’s phone. you stifled a laugh as mr. aizawa pulled out a new one for him.

“new phone number and everything thank you” he ushered minoru along and you hid your face in shoto’s chest out of embarrassment and to cover your laughs. shoto wrapped an arm around you when he saw hanta staring.

“now then” mr. aizawa said and you all turned to look at him. shoto stood behind you as you sat on a chair and wrapped his arms around you. “lewd actions are strictly prohibited in the dorms. you guys give me so much trouble, but to be quite frank i’ll miss this” you were staring at the floor and immediately looked up upon hearing that.

“you graduate in 7 months please no more screw ups for the rest of the year i beg of you” he says rubbing a hand down his face. “go on i have to grade papers” he said turning around and heading to his room. you yawned and looked at shoto. “nap time?” he says and you nod getting up and dragging him with you.

“the first lacrosse game of the season is next friday are we going?” shoto asked you and you stopped to give him a look. “remember who is on that team” you said and he thought for a minute. “so?” he says and you move to unlock your dorm, shoto following you.

“you’ll be there this friday for the first basketball game right?” he asks you and you nod. you were cheering anyway you had to go. “i’ll be cheering you on” you smiled lazily up at him. he smiled at you and you koved to change into comfortable clothes.

you go to remove your shirt and shoto stops you. “in front of me?” he asks covering his eyes and you shrugged. “you already saw it anyway” you said and he slowly uncovers his eyes to see that you put on a green tank top with matching sweatpants.

“uhm sho?” you start and he turns around to look at you. “so the day i got into the fight with tsu and toru” you started sitting down and motioned for him to follow you. “uh huh” he says confused where this was going.

“denki had told me he found out you like me?” you said to him and looked up to see his face. “yes” is all he said and you waited for him to elaborate on that. “i do like you a lot as a friend. denki must’ve heard wrong i said you were very attractive” he admits and you stare down at your bed.

“i know youre in love with hanta tho so its okay” he says and you look up to see him. “well hanta and i arent together anymore are we? we never were to begin with i can do what i want now” you said giving him a smile. he smiled back at you. “do you want to talk about that actually?” he asks you and you look at your bed again, avoiding his eyes.

“i mean what is there to talk about” you said sighing and taking a shaky breath. “i dont plan on forgiving him” you shook your head no. “i may love him but it’ll pass. what he did was unforgivable” you said looking at shoto.

“i couldnt really grasp what he did and i wanted to give you time to explain, what was it exactly that made you break up with him?” he asked you and moved to lay your head in his lap, his hands immediately going to your hair.

“around a month ago we had a conversation about sex and stuff” you started and shoto nodded. “i had asked him if he’s ever done it. he said yes but that it wasnt with toru, it was with a girl from class d” you continued and shoto listened intently.

“toru later revealed that it was her he lost it to, he lied to me and for what sho?” you said looking at him and he nodded. you both stayed quiet and stared at each other. “sho have you ever been kissed?” you ask him and he nods.

“remember momo our first year” he said and you remember spin the bottle. “oh yea” you nodded remembering. you stare at each other again and he leans down. you tilt your head upwards to catch his lips and shoto conencts both of your lips. you cup shoto’s face with one hand and grip his arm with your other.

the kiss is slow, you savor each other. you hum into the kiss and smile. he smiles back and he pulls away. he leans back in for more and his hand goes on your hip caressing it. you pull him down and run your hands through his half and half hair. shoto groans into the kiss and you pull him closer to you if thats even possible.

“sho?” you whine as shoto moves to kiss down your neck. he hums indicating he heard you and is awaiting your answer. you move to look at his face. “can you help me forget?” you ask and he stares at you. he nods his head and says “help me forget too” and you grab his biceps and pull him in again. his hands start to roam and feel all around your body.

in this moment you felt safe.

with shoto you felt happy and safe.

you trust him more than anything.

for today, you both forget everything thats happened within the last two weeks.

you walked out of the dormitory complex to go meet with your class b friends. juzo texted you to come by to hang out. “OUR GIRL!” tetsutetsu yelled and scooped you up into a hug. “let her go man” yosetsu said and tetsutetsu put you down. they gave you all hugs and ushered you into the class b dormitory.

you sat on the couch and talked with them. “we called you here for something important” itsuka said and it suddenly went serious. “what is it?” you said playing with your hands as you sat on the couch criss crossed.

“well we want to know how youre holding up” yosetsu said and you smiled. “im okay guys i promise” you said and looked down at your hands. “hey whats that on your neck?” nieto said looking closely. you played it off “its the one hanta gave me” you said covering it with your hair.

“no dude it looks recent, hanta was 2 weeks ago it would’ve faded by now” nieto said moving your hair and grabbing you to inspect the mark on your neck. fuck shoto, you thought. you groan and push nieto away. “okay guys dont think of me as” you said pausing to find the right word.

“a slut” nieto said smirking and you squint your eyes at him. “it was shoto” you mutter and everyone starts talking over each other. you cover your face as they bombard you with questions. “it was just a steamy makeout session nothing else happened” you said which was a lie. you and shoto did the deed but you couldn’t tell them that.

“so what just fuck hanta then?!” juzo said clearly somewhat bothered. juzo got up and went to his dorm. you looked at the others confused and he came back with a box. the box you had thrown out. he placed it in front of you.

“im your best friend” he starts and takes a seat in front of you. you stare at the box and see everything you tossed in there. his hoodies, the notes he had written you, everything. your eyes glossed over with tears. “i have never seen you this happy y/n, i truly mean it” he says taking your hands and holding them.

juzo looks at the others and then looks at you. “i know it was fake in the beginning, but gradually overtime it became real between the two of you” the others gasped. “i understand what he did and i will say its probably unforgivable, but i say give him another chance” he says and you look at him wiping your tears.

“let me give it some time” you whisper and juzo pulls you into a hug. you sob into his shoulder and he rubs your back. “you know i love you right?” he says to you and you nod your head. he kisses your head and pulls you in closer. you pull away and look at the box.

“we can help you take it over to your dorm or if you think you need more time with the box it can stay in my dorm” juzo says and you look at him. “can it stay in your dorm for a bit longer?” you ask and he nods his head.

"how do i look!" you said spinning around in front of your friends, shoto standing next to you. "it's adorable" ochaco and momo gushed. "a rat and a chef" tenya said inspecting the costume. "linguini and remy" you corrected and he nods his head finally catching on. "so a couples costume huh?" momo smirked and you both shake your eads no.

"were a group of six, you guys are couples, why not complete the six of us and have me and sho do a costume together" you said and izuku nodded. "great thinking guys!" he said and you high fived him.

"party time!!" ochaco said grabbing izuku's hand and dragging him down the stairs. "where is this party again?" tenya asks as momo dragged him along too. "class b dorms duh" you said as you and shoto walked down the stairs together.

"AWWW YOU ALL LOOK SO CUTE" mina shrieked from her spot on the couch. you noticed hanta was sitting there and you turn your head away to not look at his eyes. shoto looked down at you and smiled. "aww couples costumes" mina gushed looking at you and shoto. you shook your head no and so did shoto. "were going as friends" you said smiling.

"yea as friends who fucked" mina muttered only for the two of you to hear. your face went white and mina laughed. "im only joking dont take it too seriously!" she said walking away and back to eijiro. you and shoto looked at each other and only nodded at each other.

“anyways we all ready to go?” mina said standing next to eijiro excitedly. “you guys can go im not feeling it” hanta said getting up and starting to walk towards his dorm. you watched him as katsuki stopped him and yelled at him.

“turn your ass around were going!” he said turning hanta around and pushing him to get him moving outside. “pictures!!” mina shrieked and you all followed her outside. she helped izuku, ochaco, tenya, and momo take their pictures.

“Y/N AND SHOTO!” she said giggling as you and shoto stood next to each other. he wrapped an arm around your waist and you leaned into him smiling so big. “this height difference is adorable” she said snapping more pictures.

“okay get on his shoudlers” she said and you froze. “oh cmon now its just for the photo” she said waving it off and shoto bent down for you to get onto his shoulders. he slowly stood up holding onto your thighs and you gripped his forearms.

“careful sho” you smiled and he stood up to his full height. “wow i can see everything from here” you joked and shoto looked up at you and laughed. “do the iconic picture” mina ushered the two of you. you grabbed two pieces of shoto’s hair and smiled at the camera.

“AWW SO ADORABLE” she squealed showing eijiro. “okay im gonna throw you someone catch her” shoto called out and as everyone argued on who was going to catch you, shoto threw you backwards and you felt a pair of strong arms catch you.

“sho dont do that!” you shrieked and looked up to see hanta’s arms caught you. you look up to meet his face and he smiles at you. you quickly got off and straightened out your outfit. “thank you” you muttered quickly and walked away.

“wait before we go i almost forgot!” mina exclaimed and ran back in. you all stood outside and waited as she came out with a small box. she stood in front of you and encouraged you to open it. everyone gathered around to see. you opened it and started laughing.

“ta-da!” she said and katsuki started laughing. she got you a cake that says virgin and its crossed out indicating you arent one anymore. everyone giggled and you laughed too. “who wants a slice?” you giggled holding it up.

“thanks mina” you smiled at her and gave her a side hug. “welcome to the club” she winked and you laughed. hanta stood there only looking at the cake unamused. “oh come on you wanna laugh” denki said poking his cheek and hanta slapped it away.

“hey lighten up man” eijiro said nudging hanta. he only scoffed and looked away. “okay guys lets go in” izuku said nervously and ushered you all in. you went back to the dorms to put the cake away in the fridge.

you turn around to find hanta and you froze. you both stare at each other and tears well up in your eyes. he opens his mouth to say something and you beat him to it. “hanta not tonight please” you sigh and wipe the tear away that falls.

“lets just have fun tonight okay?” you said and he nods. he slaps his hand softly onto the counter and starts to walk away. “yea lets have fun” he mutters and he walks out, you trailing behind him.

you both walk into the class b dorms and immediately head separate ways. you find your group and smile at them. shoto hands you a drink and you accept it. things werent awkward between you and shoto and you were grateful for that.

you both agreed it was one night and one night only. “LETS GO DANCE!!” tetsutetsu said as he appeared out of nowhere and scooped you up running with you as yosetsu, neito, itsuka, and juzo followed you guys.

you giggled and waved at them as tetsutetsu reached the dance floor and put you down. he wrapped his arms around you as he swung you around. the dancing was more of him carrying you and dragging you around, your feet werent touching the floor at all.

yosetsu and itsuka danced together as juzo and nieto danced off to the side. “tetsu!” you giggled as you grabbed onto him for dear life. “this is fun!” he said still swinging you around to the rhythm of the music.

“is he drunk?” you managed to ask juzo and you saw he nodded his head. tetsutetsu suddenly put you down and he grabbed you and put you on his shoulders. “hey a warning would be nice” you laughed as you put your hands in his hair.

“alright simmer down hand her over” juzo said reaching out towards you. you grabbed his hands as he pulls you off of tetsu’s shoulders. he turns around to leave and sees yui pulling her into a dance immediately.

“you okay?” juzo asked and you nod giggling. “he’s just a little drunk” you shrug and smile up at him. “okay its giving rat” he says inspecting your costume. “im remy from ratatouille” you said crossing your arms across your chest. “saw that shoto’s the chef” he pointed in the direction of shoto.

“you two are a thing now?” he asks and you shook your head no. “no juzo just friends” you smile up at him. his face turns serious for a second. “can we uh have an important talk tomorrow?” he asks you and you nod your head yes.

“love ya juz” you said giving him a hug and starting to walk away. “love ya back!” he calls out and you smile disappearing to find mina and yuga. you bump into someone and apologize. you look up to see hanta and you smile quickly moving away.

he grabs your arm to stop you. “we need to talk” he pleads and you look at his hand wrapped around your arm. “hanta another night please” you said and gently get out of his grasp. you make a beeline for mina and yuga and smile when you join them.

you chug the drink shoto gave you earlier and pull the both of them out to dance. “wheres the chef” mina says chuckling as you pull her. “somewhere around here” you giggle and start spinning each other around.

katsuki and eijiro join you three and katsuki hands you a drink. “thanks kats” you smile up at him. he throws an arm around you as you all dance in a little circle.

you heard an altercation going on behind you and everyone around you pauses. you turn around to watch and its hanta and juzo. your eyes widened. not like us starts playing and you watched from afar. you couldnt understand what was being said between the two of them. juzo looked to be walking away and hanta grabbed him and punched him in the face.

everyone started cheering as the boys fought and you covered your ears. shoto tried intervening but hanta managed to punch him. katsuki scoffed and between he, eijiro, and denki they were able to calm the boys down.

“both of you need to steer clear from her” hanta said and he pointed at you. you walked closer and grabbed him the collar of his shirt. “lets get out of here troublemaker youre clearly a bit tipsy” you said rolling your eyes and dragging him out.

“WALK HIM LIKE A DOG Y/N!” tetsutetsu yelled and everyone started laughing. you let him go once you were both far away from the class b dorms. “what is your problem hanta?” you said crossing your arms against your chest and looking up at him. his eyes filled with tears as he kissed his teeth and looked at the ground.

“i miss you” he said with a shaky voice as you saw his tears fall. he sucks in a breath and looks at you. “i fucked up. its all my fault. i sit up at night thinking this situation over and over again and im sorry” he said as he bends down slightly to look you in the eyes.

“when i suggested the whole fake dating i did it because i was already so infatuated with you. i figured this was the way to do it, to finally somehow tell you i’ve been yearning for you since we were first years” he continues as a sob left his mouth.

“i love you so much and everyday i wake up regretting my choice these past two years. i’ve always wanted you and only you. that day i was telling the truth, toru wasnt my first i never did anything like that at all with her” he said as he looked at you.

tears welled up in your own eyes. “i know you slept with shoto and its okay you are able to do what you want, but please forgive me. im standing right in front of you begging you for your forgiveness” he got closer and you looked at the ground.

“i need more time hanta” you said looking up at him and he only nods. “what happened was very fucked up” you muttered and he nods. you start sobbing just thinking back on the fact that the whole school saw you in your raw form.

he pulls you in hesitantly and you clutch onto his shirt. he shushes you gently and strokes your hair. you calmed down and you looked up at him. you wiped your tears and smiled at him. “wanna go eat my cake together?” you asked giggling. he smiles at you and nods his head muttering a sure.

you both walk back to the class a dorms to go eat your special cake that mina made for you.

They finally did it they finally killed the pest that was making you suffer! They'll be sure that you'll feel better once again!

As the days went by you started to cough fewer flowers and flowers were starting to fall off your body completely not leaving any vines and thorns around and your classmates were there by you helping you with your recovery!

Momo was trimming off the thorns and vines that were wrapped uncomfortably around your body on your body while Ochaco, Mina, and Hakagure were putting cute little bandaids all over, tsuyu was giving you some of your comfort foods and some tea to relax and Jirou sang some songs for you while you were in your hospital bed but for some reason you didn't utter a "thanks" or made a smile at them but they understood you were probably just tried!

The boys were also helping Iida was making sure you were taking your medications and making sure you weren't working just resting in your hospital bed sero and Denki was entertaining you with funny videos and card games meanwhile katsuki was making you healthy meals but Katsuki was feeling that something wasn't right you weren't reacting to what they were expecting just stared at them with a cold neutral expression barely replying to anything your classmates are saying your other classmates brush it off but to Akatsuki it lingered in his mind

After a week of recovery, you were back on your feet you still were coughing a bit flowers but recovery girls assured you that they'd go away in about a few days when you came back to the dorms everyone was elated seeing you walking on you back to yourself everyone was surrounding your gifts in their hands and praises about how brave you were everyone quiet down when everyone decided to celebrate for your return with a gathering dinner

The dinner-like party was full everyone was chattering among themselves mostly about you or most were eagerly talking to you but all your response was a hum back and a soft nod right after you finished your meal you got up and left "Wait aren't you gotta stay for dessert?" Your classmates watched as You walked away as they quietly whispered among themselves about your behavior lately, were you still sick? Was this the aftermath of the disease it has to be! Many theories were passed around from classmate to classmate everyone was busy worrying about you until they saw it they saw you resting on Tokoyami's shoulder while you were sleeping everyone was jealous of this and wanted to up their game

You watched how everyone in your class started to fall apart everyone was against everyone's neck and neck they were fighting, yelling, and violent they were so desperate and eager to get your affection everyone pulling you away from one another just for you to go to one of the students leaving the others seething with rage, some friendships between them were broken, every day at class everyone was staring at you while glaring daggers at each other, in training your students were beating each other to a pulp in order to at least give them a praise no a thumbs up or even look their way

You watched how everyone was at it for each other like wild animals while sipping on your favorite drink and eating your snack on other hand you knew this was wrong, petty even ,but they murdered the person you loved the most and you will never forgive them so why not get a little revenge before we get to the good part~

momo and jihyo are her main caregivers and she absolutely adores nayeon whenever momohyo aren’t around because nayeon will just sit and listen to her talk for hours

even if her mamas saw her five minutes ago, they have to say hello to her if they leave the room and come back in (bonus points for mohyo if they call her love bug)

her love language is physical touch! she thrives off of touching and holding hands

depriving herself of physical touch is also a way that she punishes herself :(
