i have such a love for characters who descend into madness or villainy out of deep, deep empathy. characters who fundamentally cannot cope with the cruel realities they find themselves in and blow up about it in spectacular fashion. fallen angel type characters with tears of outrage in their eyes. characters who break before they bend, and break so badly they splatter blood all over their noble ideals. every variation on it gets me so good

My taste in romance has less to do with how romantic the relationship actually is (though that is a bonus) and more to do with how interesting I find the dynamic between the couple. Which is why fluffy vanilla romance usually bores the hell out of me. I want to see how these characters dramatically affect each other and fundamentally change each other and their individual understandings of the world!!! I want to see a beautiful tie-in between the romance and the themes + messages of the story and how it all builds to a climax!!!

I didn't wanna spend Too Much time on this given that I uhhh need to go to bed and also that I just wanted to get the idea onto paper, but I had to slap flat colors on it anyway. But hey, at least I managed to finish it! that's progress! I have been doodling here and there but my ability to draw has been so spotty recently so I'll take this as a victory.

I'm of the opinion that an android should absolutely have some distinguishing features to separate them from humans for my personal delight, so he's got some seams along his body (but you can only see the face and arm.

My rp partner came up with the original design but I tweaked it a little bit while I was doodling. I will have to draw. More. of the androids AU at some point

I have seen at least 6 people I follow on BlueSky saying they have looked into their numbers and compared to Twitter? BSky gives them over double the exposure and follow through for outside links (probably because Twitter kills your tweet if you have links).

It is marking non-ai art as being made with Grok (probably to promote it).

I'm a fandom oldie and a strong proponent of "ship and let ship", and I defend everyone else's right to ship what they love... But I think that gives people the idea that I like, automatically love every single ship??? Or every single trope?

I don't though!

There are a lot of fandom tropes that are on my "absolutely fuck no" list. There are a lot of irk kinks that are also on my "nope absolutely not" list, too. Personally, this is healthy. I'm able to look at something and go "Yep, I hate it, but it's not harming anyone, so continue to do as you please."
