Traditional Soap or Natural Soap

How does one choose between using natural soap or traditional?
Traditional Soap Bars versus Natural Soap Bars
When it comes to choosing a soap bar, the options seem endless. One of the most common debates is between traditional soap bars and natural soap bars. Let's take a closer look at the differences between these two types of soap and help you make an informed decision.
Traditional Soap Bars
Traditional soap bars, also known as commercial or synthetic soap bars, are widely available in stores. They are mass-produced and often contain a combination of synthetic ingredients, harsh chemicals, and artificial fragrances.
One of the main advantages of traditional soap bars is their affordability and wide variety of scents. However, they may not be the best choice for those with sensitive skin or specific skin conditions.
Natural Soap Bars
Natural soap bars, on the other hand, are made from organic ingredients and are free from harsh chemicals and artificial additives. They are typically handmade or produced in small batches by artisans.
One of the biggest advantages of natural soap bars is their gentle and moisturizing properties. They often contain natural oils and butter, such as olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, or cocoa butter, which nourish and hydrate the skin.In addition, natural soap bars are often scented with essential oils, which provide a pleasant and natural fragrance without causing any skin irritation.
The Benefits of Natural Soap Bars
1. Gentle on the skin:
Natural soap bars are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
2. Moisturizing properties: The natural oils and butter in these soap bars help to keep the skin hydrated and prevent dryness.
3. Chemical-free: Natural soap bars are free from harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and preservatives.
4. Environmentally friendly: Since natural soap bars are made from organic ingredients, they are biodegradable and eco-friendly.
Conclusion
While traditional soap bars may be more affordable and offer a wide variety of scents, natural soap bars provide numerous benefits for your skin and the environment. If you have sensitive skin or prefer using organic products, natural soap bars are the way to go. Remember to always read the labels and choose soap bars that are truly natural and free from harmful ingredients.

idk if I’ve posted about this before but I seriously headcanon that Ghost has a twelve-step skincare regimen
it includes moisturizer, witch hazel, scar gel, burn cream, etc and he sticks to it religiously when he can
it’s not that he is particularly enthused about self care or even skin care in general, but it keeps his eye black from creasing, his scars from aching, and his face from breaking out with acne under his mask
when the 141 pulls off their Ghost Team balaclavas in Las Almas, he nearly doubles over in laughter at their messed up eye black, fabric creases pressed into their dry skin, and pimples already starting to pop up
after they get back from Chicago, all three of them find a small bag with moisturizer, face cleanser, and acne cream outside of their barracks and none of them even have to ask who it came from

More tame and domestic CRCB thought since it lives rent-free in my mind:
Price has to REALLY watch Omega when they take her to the store, especially if she veers towards the skincare section. He made the mistake once of letting her just throw shit in the cart, thinking it was a lot, but maybe she's really intense about skincare. Whatever.
Until he finds her smearing a peel-off mask over his nose because he has blackheads. She's on his lap, holding his face as tight as she can so he can't look away.
Soap and Gaz probably seek her out. Gaz, I imagine, probably takes pretty good care of his own face. Has his own skincare. Soap uses a bar of hand soap and cold water, but he runs to her like a puppy once a week just to have his face massaged with whatever she deems necessary.
Ghost gets off easy. Until he starts taking off his mask. Then she's chasing him with makeup remover and cotton pads to scrub off the eyeblack that he sleeps in because 'it'll rub off eventually anyway.'
I mean, Price probably has to watch the reader whenever they go to a store period 😂 girl be loading up the cart with lots of things.
Oh but absolutely. The reader and Kyle are double teaming the skincare of the other three. Jumping them when they least expect it and trying to get them to just use a moisturizer 😭
Johnny so likes the facial part. He likes to be pampered by someone else, but doing it himself?? Nah. No thank you.
The reader and Kyle have a full breakdown whenever Simon takes off the mask. Man probably has acne and permanently stained eyelids from the eyeblack he never washes off. Kyle holds him down while the reader sits on him and aggressively cleanses his skin and puts a mask on him 😂 it becomes a regular thing after that.

being highly sensitive to Perfume Smell is such a game of russian roulette in which you put Scented Stuff on your skin and wait 5-15 minutes to find out if it's going to stab you through the sinuses straight through your brain

Apologies in advance for the cringe!
I kid you not, my friend and I love to fangirl when u drop another one of your wesker takes 🫣 then we go over them together like it’s a raven from another continent /half joke.
Do u think wesker would be a beanie or an earmuffs guy?? Assuming this man cares to protect his hair from the cold.
🥰🥰🥰 no cringe just wholesome 🥰🥰🥰
My first impressions was earmuffs BUT YOU'RE RIGHT. This man would absolutely have a beanie for long periods in the cold. I'm thinking S.T.A.R.S. era Wesker just chilling in the Midwestern cold with a S.T.A.R.S. beanie on, enjoying a hot coffee or like has wittle heating pads in his mittens for them -0° weather.
I still feel like earmuffs would be his go to, just cause you don't really see him use any head warmth stuff in game. Like in the Umbrella Chronicles. Mans was just walking around in the Siberian tundra with only a trenchcoat, sunglasses and gloves for any sort of warmth and protection from the elements.
Earmuffs would've also been a great addition to his ensemble. Keeps his iconic look still looking iconic but also conveys that he's in the fucking Siberian tundra, but i digress.
Final answer: Beanie pre S.TA.R.S. Earmuffs post S.T.AR.S.
As for if he cares about hair care or skin care, I lowkey think he doesn't and he just has great genetics (kek). Mans is a boomer, he has never on-screen cared about anything regarding his appearance other than smoothing back his hair regularly. That just seems like a habit he has because the little baby hairs tickle his forehead during any sort of activity and it annoys him.
Like those memes where one person does all this skincare and still has acne but the other just splashes water on they face and looks great. I don't think he cares too much tbh.
Love it when i get asks 🥰🥰🥰

I don't think Morgott has eczema I think his hands are red and raw because he washes them constantly.
even after all this time he feels like the sewer filth is still on his hands and under his nails and it won't come off no matter how hard he scrubs

-not everyone needs to use facewash or bodywash on a regular basis. if water is enough for you, it's enough.
-not everyone needs to use moisturizer all the time. if you don't get issues when you don't moisturize, you probably don't need to.
they are just trying to sell us things!!! some people do benefit from these things, but if a wet washcloth or whatever works to keep you clean and comfortable, it works! there's no inherent human need for bodywash and moisturizer and anyone who tries to tell you everyone needs a "basic skin care routine" involving multiple products is either trying to sell you something or has been indoctrinated by those people.
so stop being weirdos and shaming people for not needing the same skin care routine as you!!!

I’ve been into skin care lately, and I am having just the SOFTEST thoughts lately about indulging in some self care with Caine. 😩 Like he’s an AI so he’s probably never taken a bath or applied body butter before, and I just want to sit and relax in a hot bath with him whilst enjoying the scent of a LUSH bath bomb, eating some snacks, and watching Forensic Files.

Explain that one, science! (Patreon)
#Doodles#Original#Just a silly one lol#We recently got a handsoap that was pear-scented and it smelled Exactly of Fruit Candy#Like that specific to-be-eaten kind of sweetness none of the soap harshness or edge just straight sugar-smell#And while it did leave an odd oily residue (I assume a moisturizing formula? I'm a sludge monster so I need it not) it wasn't sticky at all#Such a confusing compound#Anyway I prefer everything unscented and flavourless if it's to do with cleaning if at all possible#Dish soap hand soup - yes shampoo I have The Lightest barely-coconut shampoo that cuts all the oil straight from my scalp So gently#Being a slight supertaster who is also Very sensitive to Chemical Smells is hell :) I do not enjoy Cleaning Scents#Especially when they try to emulate what are meant to be Food Smells - excuse me I would like not to think about trash while food happens#Anyway lol - the pear soap did make me want to chew on myself a bit more than usual#And as Onion is The Most Known for dermatophagia and general body horror weirdness she got it lol#Onion juice is not the easiest on skin but ehhh it's fine she's built for it(?)#<Very questionably considering only her head-shoulders-chest are plant flesh the rest is human flesh#Presumably#I still love her muppet mouth lol no teeth but still an irritant in there! Not venomous or poisonous but noxious in her own small way#She also very specifically only took off one glove and left the other on lol she knew what she was doing she did it on purpose#This is why she's a mushroom /j

Month 12, day 1
Tried to do a quick material so I could go to bed relatively on time tonight but alas, it required something that got removed in my version of Blender so I had to figure out how to recreate it. Also I decided to change the way the material was made so I could have finer control over it, mostly in the colors lol
