I just realized that I dont think I've ever told y'all about the most irreplaceable engine in my collection.

...Hazel...the black five is incredibly common. Not this one.

Several years ago I found a listing for a Black Five in Ebay. She was extra detailed and cost more than I wanted to pay, but for some reason...I fell in love. I won, flinching at the price...until I got a message from the seller. She was from Britian, and the seller was a former BR Driver...a former steam driver.

This was his model of his old locomotive. She had been modified to reflect the engine he used to drive. He had got a new tooling to replace the model, so he was selling the old one, but had wanted the person who bought her to know her significance.

5138 (by then 45318) had been scrapped in 1967, but over half a century later her driver still kept a model of her, only replacing it when he got a model more accurate to her. I have the physical representation of a driver's love for their engine, and she is irreplaceable.

spent 2 months working on this and hoo boy 🥵 everything was modelled from scratch and texture painted by hand in blender before being put into unreal engine

This is the first at least slightly interactive thing I've done. Mostly just testing things out, I'm really a noob. I've wanted to try making little atmospheric game-like things for a long time, and I hope I'll finally find the energy to actually do something...

good news! p1 dude's head is finished, which means i just have the body textures to take care of now.

unfortunately, the bad news is that i can't seem to get into POSTed without the mesh getting corrupted. i haven't given up yet, but so far nothing i've tried to remedy this has worked.

in fact, when i try to import just the hair by itself (or any mesh from blender, for that matter) i get a general protection fault error. again, i'm still trying to figure out a fix, but i'm starting to worry that blender and POSTed are just completely incompatible. :(

Oh my god WALL-E Stelle has stolen my heart! I can't stop thinking about her 🥺. Do you think she'd bring you little plants that she found like how WALL-E showed EVE the plant he found (or would she bring you things she dug out of trashcans that she thought was neat)? Would she have abandonment issues? Would she overwork herself to the point of breaking down because she doesn't want to be abandonned by engineer reader even though she knows that engineer reader would never do that to her?

DNWKJDKWJD YES. Sometimes when Stelle is on the job looking through dumpsters, she’ll find a discarded bouquet of flowers that someone threw away (probably some poor sap that got rejected) and she’ll get the idea to give it to you instead! Sure the flowers are a little wilted with many of the petals falling already, but Android! Stelle genuinely can’t tell the difference because flowers are flowers! She wants to give the human she loves some flowers to show her love 🥺

Expect her to come home every other day with a rotting bouquet of flowers inside a soup can, or something else she finds interesting that she thinks can be useful to you! Sometimes Stelle will scrounge around for spare parts in the dumpsters, and bring them home to you because she thinks you can use them for your projects <33

She kinda does all of this out of appreciation for you taking her in after her owners abandoned her, but she also does it to secretly show how much she loves you. She’s smitten, definitely like how WALL-E acts around EVE 😅

Original Hiro & Clockwork Hiro

Small test render I've made before I proceed to a small comics session. Since I've already made Clockwork Hiro model, I simply needed to edit and remodel some parts to make original version.

So here's comparison of Master of the Railway and Winder of the Railway. Clockwork Hiro looks bit grumpy in that pic, but in AU storyline he is pretty kind and soft towards the other himself.

(Actually he is being rude towards Spencer(s) only, and rather being kind to others.)
